The gym is nice, the only thing I don’t like is that there is a couple new people that are always recording unluckily is always at the same time I go. This women even set up her tripod & starts recording & taking pictures pretty much everyday even if there is people in the background. I don’t want to be on anyones video or picture so I hv had to stop the exercise I’m doing & move several times because I was at the background of the camera which is annoying.

Changing my review to 1 star because it’s been a week and nothing has been done, I thought by reinforcing filming policies I was going to see at least some signs or something but no. I’m still being recorded in the background without my consent.

All I can say is “Holy cow” this location has to be one of the best “Anytime Fitness” locations I’ve been to yet. May have to “jump ship” and transfer my membership to this location.

Great assortment of equipment. Very clean. Well maintained. Bright open environment. Will definitely be back for sure.

It’s laid out beautifully. Lots of room. I’ll be seeing y’all more often when I’m home and off the road.

I was traveling in Dallas for work and was looking for the local anytime fitness and I came across this location. There were plenty of machines and a lot of space to walk around. This location was way bigger than my home gym in Minnesota. Would definitely recommend to anybody who's looking for a great place to work out.

Ive visited several anytime fitness locations in and outside of Dallas and this location has to be the dirtiest and filthiest tlocation I've been to thus far. For the last couple months ivr compiled a list of pros and cons that are based on my own opinions.

Let's starts off with cons, there's many of them.

- during the day the gym is decently clean. Anytime after 5pm, it's disgusting.
- gym goers bring kids to the gym after 5pm. I've seen kids at the gym at 8-9pm the latest.
- men's bathroom is utterly disgusting.
- the amount of bugs! I've seen roaches, crickets, moths and flies in the gym at all hours of the day.
- equipment is outdated compared to surrounding anytime fitness locations.
- gym goers do not rerack weights.

Pros:
- convenient. It's the only anytime fitness near me besides the one on Senlac Dr.

I hope the owners take this review into consideration and start to think of ways to improve this gym. Otherwise, I advise others to start looking at other locations and/or gyms.

Perfect location. Perfect equipment. Spacious and very clean (especially in comparison with other Anytime Fitness locations).

Equipment is always operating.

We are blessed with Octavio at this location. He is (10 times better than Bret --the previous manager ever was).

He has proven his overall excellence as the previous manager of the Josey lane location. I'm so glad that we now have him here.

Amazing workout center! Totally recommend! The location is off the busy traffic area of Beltline. Staff is incredibly helpful with the owner on location. He is not only the owner, also an expert in fitness training and nutrition. Any questions about equipment or workouts are appreciated because he is often on site accommodating walk-in traffic daily. Gives anyone a boost having a workout center available to escape the stress of working from home and provides a perfect home/work life balance 🙌 New Year’s resolution check ✅ looking for a new way to start the New Year? I've been a member of this gym for about 6 months, and the cleanliness had definitely declined as of late. However, I noticed last week things seemed to look a lot better, and the equipment that had been broken for months was finally fixed. I spoke with the manager, and apparently there is new ownership. Definitely a great improvement, keep it up!

Ive been to a few Anytime Fitness gyms in the DFW area and this one is my favorite. Lots of space, big and efficient floor plan, clean equipment always, non judgemental folks. Manager does a great job at keeping the facilities clean

Since the original review I wrote, management has changed. The place is always dirty, I see the same dead crickets for weeks, machines stay broken for weeks, and minimal cleaning is done by management. I saw the same fake eyelash stuck on the floor next to the squat rack for 2 weeks. Women’s bathroom is poorly maintained. Homeless people sleeping on the machines. Day to day management is a set of young 20 year olds who could care less about the upkeep of the facility. I started coming here when it first opened And the Original franchise owner/management was not like this.

There are other anytime gyms maintained better by the day to day staff but this one is not one of them.

Yikes. I was in town for a week and visited this gym three times. Two of the three nights there was a homeless man sleeping on the chest press machine I wanted to use. I couldn't find any hand sanitizer. Then tonight there was no soap in the bathroom. And just overall not very tidy. So glad this is not my local gym.

I enjoyed the gym. It was very clean and the staff was helpful as soon as I signed in. The problem is that I am now out of the country (volunteer work) and they continue to charge me. They will not cancel my membership even though I have submitted their “formal” cancellation request. I have spoken with several employees and the manager. Meanwhile they continue to bill me every month. It makes me sad that I will not join their gym when I return. NEVER sign up with your debit card. I had to cancel mine. After several months, it was the only way to make them stop.

Really frustrating experience mainly because the guys that run the gym have always been kind to me. Been a member of anytime fitness for around a year. Found the carrollton location - just perfect for a new weight lifter like myself. I moved to the Bay Area last month, and really not a location close to me. I've tried to cancel my account 4 different ways - phone calls, direct emails, and now resorting to writing a google review.

Cannot recommend these guys unless you are prepared to never be able to cancel. I now have a bi-weekly calendar reminder to dispute every charge that comes through my credit card. Find a different gym!

I have actually been coming to this Anytime since it opened back in early 2021. Brand new equipment and fresh smells. Though over the last half year or so, the maintaince and upkeep of this gym has fallen through. Several times there has been no toliet paper in the bathrooms. The men's urinal is turning a dark yellow with an awful smell because of lack of cleaning. The men's toliet has had a black tarp behind it for over half a year (not sure what happened). The water fountains filter has been red for months. The ground hasn't been swept or cleaned. And dust has collected on the equipment that's not used regularly.
Though the vending machine on the other hand is kept up to date with new drinks/protein snacks so I know that there is someone coming in to atleast fill that up and occasionally a new roll of toliet paper or two. Overall it has a sense of low upkeep and that management over this specific facility seemed enthusiastic when the gym first opened but has greatly decreased their presence and care for the facility afterwards. Its a shame because it has some good equipment and usually not too busy to have a great workout in. But it doesn't seem to have the care from the owners/management. Hopefully they can give a little more presence and love to the gym like the used to.

Business must be good at this location and no new members are needed. Prior to the holidays, I reached out to this facility to inquire about a membership. The nice lady who answered the phone mentioned she would pass my name/contact information onto someone in management. I never did receive a call back. And based on the reviews, sounds like most folks are happy. However, with my experience and no follow up, my opinion is not the same.

Bob, the Manager of this location is great. Super helpful and willing to answer any questions regarding fitness. I've been training with him for a few months now and I'm super happy with the results. He's flexible with scheduling and my adjusting the workouts to my needs/limitations.

The manager, Bob, is extremely helpful, keeps the place clean, and actively encourages feedback to maintain the high quality experience. I wish I could give more than five stars here. I’ve been a fan of Anytime Fitness for a while now. But this one is the best branch I’ve ever visited. In this brand new, state-of-the-art facility, the machines are clean and the weights are correctly racked. Skyler, the manager, is great too. No one should miss the snack machine, either - it’s loaded with only well-vetted and healthy (protein) snack options.
