Along with making me feel comfortable, Laura was extremely knowledgeable and made sure all my questions got answered. She was very good at helping me with technique and explaining how to do the exercises in ways to help eliminate some of the pain in my knees. I have only joined one fitness center previous to Anytime and I never went because they never made me feel welcome or offered any assistance of any kind. I am extremely impressed with the Dumas one and how they make you feel welcome and cared for.

I’m a traveling worker so I’ve been to a lot of ATF’s, this one takes the cake for the worst one. The place needs some serious reworking done. A lot of the equipment is torn up or broken. It’s a smaller gym so they can only cram so much equipment in there, for that reason the options are pretty basic and limited. The parking lot is crammed and small so it’s extremely frustrating to get in and out of. On a positive note, they have a couple of squat racks so you can bench and squat all you want. Free weights go up over 100 I think, so you can get a workout in… just not a very good gym aside from that.

I have been trying to cancel for months now. I haven't lived close to an anytime fitness gym for almost the entire year but because I didn't have a bill in my name I could not cancel. I had a lease agreement with my name and address that was not acceptable. Even if I did put my name on a bill it would still have taken another month to receive that. Also this location is small and I have had some pretty terrible experiences just from other members. The lady who works in the front is nice.

This place is horrible!! Don't sign a never-ending contract!! The equipment isn't that great. I had trouble with fees I didn't sign up for from the very beginning, and it's near impossible to cancel your contract. I think the staff needs better training. If you are an honest person, you will be taken advantage of! I wouldn't have given 1 star, but had to to post my rant! Would not recommend to my worst enemy! I did sign a cancellation, and did not check the box to pay the extra for equipment maintenance, but yet I am still being charged for both. Over it!

Don’t waste your money there. There’s no way to cancel your membership and even if they tried to act like they’re going to help, they never acknowledge it when you bring it up and play dumb. The new club manager Lily is very rude and unprofessional. Couldn’t answer simple questions without getting aggravated. They over charge at random times and take your money without any notice. I was charged almost $150 in one month from hidden fees and overdraft fees from my bank. If the gym had a new manager, it would run a lot smoother, or maybe someone who actually cares about their members without being so rude and greedy.

No method of correspondence available to get any help short of walking inside (not an option, don’t live in Dumas anymore). Gym itself may be nice, but as a business it’s even less than subpar. Clean facility and good equipment but the staff isn’t that great. I would say it’s just poorly ran. I can never get a hold of anyone when calling and they never return my call. Was told I would be emailed the documents to cancel my membership and have never received them. I’m gonna compare this gym to the mafia, it’s easy to get in but you can never leave. All in all I can’t give it a 1 star because the facility is really good but the staff and ownership is not reliable or efficient at all.

I cancelled my membership Jan. 2, personally by Mark Gillespie. I wasn't charged for February and March. Then suddenly bank drafts appeared again for April and May without permission. Apparently new owners went back and audited accounts and for some reason added me back. BUT THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME A REFUND FOR THEIR PROBLEM!!!! DO NOT TRUST THE PEOPLE HERE. There is also not enough parking and the TV's work sparingly or not at all for long periods of time, after 5pm gym rats hog and drop weights. It's really gone downhill. I wouldn't go to this place again if that is the service they are going to provide.

It's always too warm inside. Thermostat is set to 75. A gym should be slightly cooler than normal room temp. My comfort level is about 65 then when you workout you are not too hot
