Machines are old or usually broken down. never clean. Restrooms are always broken. Only moved there because kids weren’t ever an issue now it’s an issue but they don’t provide a separate room for kids? Unlike raw iron and revive and the only reason I didn’t go there was because more kids that’s WE KNEW ALREADY WENT... Honestly 0 ZEROS! don’t waste your money go to revive or raw iron.

READ YOUR CONTRACT MULTIPLE TIMES. I signed up here on a “12-month contract” well I moved away and there’s no gym near me and I went to cancel. Apparently, I signed a 24-month contract(which I would’ve never agreed to because I knew I’d be moving after college). They make it very hard to cancel as well so they can hope to keep collecting money.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for months now. No response from the manager and shes never there during her set hours. She lied to me and told me I was signing up for a 6 month contract. When the 6 months rolled around I was still getting charged, just to find out it's an 18 month contract. Total scam. Told me it was gonna cost $240 to cancel.

This was a few years ago but I just had to help with the fact that canceling a membership is a pain!! Literally broke my ankle and they refused to let me cancel my membership. They claimed “I can come back after the six weeks so there is no need to cancel.” Oh and they have lots of machines that I could use without using my broken ankle… I told them that it would take longer than 6 weeks to heal. They don’t care what the reason is for canceling, they will work harder to take your money than to just have a satisfied customer. And anytime I came by to talk to someone, because rarely did anyone ever pick up the phone, no one was ever there.

If I could give a -10 star rating, I would. Cancelled membership per form required several months ago. Still being charged. No response from manager. Get the runaround from the payment processing company. Have form and email proof of cancellation. Do NOT become a member of this gym. You will never get any communication or response from anyone if you have problems. This was not originally my home gym. Horrible experience and will not be doing business with any Anytime Fitness.

I have been trying to cancel my membership since it went out in february, they didn't inform me that i would have to KEEP PAYING after my membership and that i had to sign documents to cancel it. The manager is not held accountable, I've been trying to get in touch with her to make an appointment to sign the paperwork for some time now and no response on email nor will she answer the phone. Expensive too. i was supposed to be receiving a military discount as well and wasnt made aware that i wasnt receiving it until my i asked to cancel my contract. They saw my military ID and everything. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM.

I really like the Anytime Fitness Gym in mount pleasant and its staff. The Gym was very friendly and helpful when I signed up. I did a year of personal training with the trainers and it was a great experience all around and I got great results!

Good gym, has the majority of what you need for your average gym rat (or gym bunny), the owner is very nice and helpful. It is usually very tidy.
Sundays, things tend to be a little messy (this would be the fault of the AF community; let's pick up after ourselves!)

This gym is about average compared to the many other gyms I've been to. This gym had everything I needed to get a good workout which consisted of free weights, running and machines. I would have no issue coming back here in the future.

I can see there are several complaints regarding management. Personally, I'm there to lift and better my health. I don't go there to interact with staff, or other members for that matter. The facility has a large aerobics room where I can stretch, elliptical machines for warming up, and plenty of weight machines and free weights to vary my exercise. The bathrooms are kept clean, and the shower always has hot water. If you're looking for a gym that gives you 24 hour access to the equipment you need to become healthier and stronger, this is your place.

Very unethical business, no professionalism. Canceled membership and they still keep charging my card after 3 months. Desk help is very unprofessional and just flat out doesn’t care. I have filed fraud charges with my bank, next step is small claims. I was told that the old manager did alot of this. I stated that the business is still responsible for making it right. not my problem company didnt hold manager accountable. seems this owner has several locations and is a corporate club director. I asked for him to contact me directly and the new manager stated, I dont even have his number. unreal

Very poor management!! Long story short they had an old employee who got fired. Well she didn't do the proper paperwork to cancel a membership so anytime fitness kept charging. Once we noticed we called them and they won't reimburse money even though an employee they hired is at fault. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them.
