Anytime Fitness in New Boston, TX has outdone all my expectations. There are way more exercise machines than you would expect from looking inside from the front. The gym itself is exceedingly clean. No, make that spec and span, thanks to Tiffany, who seems to be always cleaning. Jessica, the manager, is very nice and helpful. She’s also an amazing trainer. Taylor and Tim are very accessible as personal trainers as well. I love this place. Just GO!!

On my Fit Quest 70 journey from Sacramento to Texas to lose 70 pounds, I visited my 71st gym in New Boston, Texas. This small to medium-sized facility offers a wide range of equipment, including multiple sets of free weights in different areas, TRX, medicine balls, and several back extension machines. The room for floor exercises had strong air conditioning, making it a cooler space than the main gym area due to its bright windows. The restrooms and showers were very clean, though one shower had a faulty connector, so you’d need to hold the showerhead while using it—a minor issue to fix. Oddly for me, I had trouble finding wall space for calf extensions required by my app, but thats only a specific quirk because of my program. The Evolt machine in the lobby wasn’t powered up, but might be available when the gym is staffed. Also after a previous gym’s scale was off by four pounds, I now check accuracy with a 15-pound barbell and both of their manual scales were accurate. With tanning available and a pleasant atmosphere, this gym is a five-star stop despite a couple of small maintenance needs.

I’ve been coming to the New Boston location for about 2 years. I have loved it! It is very well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly with everyone. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to switch or start out

If the dress code had been followed Jessica wouldn’t have been forced into speaking to you. She’s never run anyone off to my knowledge and I’ve been there a lot longer than you. And I know for a fact you were NOT called out in front of any members. Jessica did her job with patience and as kindly as you allowed her to be. And speaking for some of the other long time members your demeanor and clothing , or the lack thereof, isn’t going to be missed at all.

WOW.......so we are changing our review. My wife and I are both Veterans. We use our workouts to help us with our PTSD. The other day my wife had just had an episode in the gym. I had just finished holding her and talking her through this awkward and sometimes embarrassing moment when Jennifer, the manager, asked to speak with us. She addressed a couple of items with us that we understood and then she informed my wife that two ladies with their grandson (who is not a member) felt offended by her outfit which can be seen in the picture here. We have been going to many different ATF gyms and this was not our first time in this gym. Jennifer has seen my wife many times and it's never been an issue. She didn't have the professionalism when this happened and she allowed this unprofessional conduct to happen right in front of the other gym customers. Yes there were some strong words used but with us being business owners we would NEVER talk to our customers like that as Jennifer even got in my face trying to explain herself. My wife was deployed to Iraq while serving in the Army. Shutting the door and calmly explaining and issues or concerns would absolutely have been the way to handle that. Yelling at us in front of the ENTIRE GYM was wrong. We will not be coming back to the New Boston Anytime Fitness.

Personal training agreement is a complete joke and they should be ashamed of themselves for not following their own agreement and try to interpret it and change it however they choose especially when you have not gotten nor will you continue to get the services you were promised and moved and their closest location to my new residence doesn’t even offer the services either. Proper and advanced notice was given and then proof provided of the move and refused to cancel and still charged me. That’s okay though because I’ll make sure to bring light to it and get whoever I need to involved to make this right.

Bad experience, on November 2021 I messaged them by messenger asking for subscription prices they told that they have a monthly payment, when I went to to sig in they told me there's not a monthly payment only biweekly, they also said that not payment charge until 2022, I found out that they started to charged on December 2021, i told the manager about it and not response. I quote verbatim what they said: "We have supportive staff, state-of-the-art equipment, training & coaching services and the convenient access you need to get to a healthier you. Our rates start at $29.99 per month and go up from there, depending on the amenities you choose. Find out more about all of our health and fitness services by visiting our website" "Our current promotion is join for $19 with no payments until 2022". I moved because my job and I been trying to cancel my subscription, there's not anytimefitness near to where i live, I sent the 30 days notice letter I payed the 50dls cancelation fee but they still gonna keep charging biweekly until the 30 days notice are over. I'm gonna be ending paying around 150 for cancel my subscription. Be aware!!! and use a local gym
