Llevo tiempo entrenando en Anytime Fitness y he visitado varios gimnasios de la cadena (al menos siete diferentes), pero sinceramente este en Odessa ha sido el peor de todos.
Las máquinas están en muy mal estado, muchas con los forros rotos o desgastados, y se nota una falta de mantenimiento general en las instalaciones.

Siendo una franquicia reconocida, uno esperaría un estándar similar en todos los gimnasios, pero este lugar está muy por debajo de lo que representa la marca.
El equipo es viejo, los detalles de limpieza se descuidan y el ambiente en general no motiva a entrenar.

Ojalá la administración tome en cuenta las opiniones de los usuarios y le dé la atención que este lugar necesita para estar al nivel de los demás Anytime Fitness.

This is honestly the worst Anytime Fitness I’ve ever been to — and I’ve been to seven different locations. The machines here are old, beat up, and in terrible condition. Most of the pads are completely torn, and everything looks neglected. For a franchise that’s supposed to maintain the same standard everywhere, this gym is way below par.
It feels like they just stopped caring about maintenance or updates years ago. Definitely not what you’d expect from an Anytime Fitness.

Anytime Fitness is such a great place to work out! The gym is always quiet and never overcrowded, which makes it easy to focus and enjoy your workout. They have a wide variety of equipment for every type of training, so you never feel limited in what you can do. On top of that, the tanning beds are a nice bonus to have right there in the gym. The owners are incredibly friendly and a real pleasure to talk to — they make you feel welcome every time you walk in. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped place to stay fit!

Only give 2 stars because it’s somewhere to workout and that’s it! If I didn’t travel for work and this be the only Anytime in Midland/Odessa I wouldn’t come here. Equiptment held together by duct tape instead of replacing pads, ropes dingy falling apart, bathroom toilets broken/clogged/no toilet paper on a daily basis, clearly not routinely cleaned. Shopping center is crawling with homeless sleeping outside the door, trying to sneak in etc. place is honestly a dump.

For some reason, don’t have a door scanner so they’re closed until somebody gets there which for a 24 hour company doesn’t make sense to me it also says they close on the weekends, which doesn’t make much sense for people who have full-time jobs. I’m canceling my subscription personally I don’t recommend.

Terrible. Most of the equipment is literally held together with tape — old, worn out, and clearly not maintained. The entire gym feels dirty and neglected. On top of that, the music is extremely loud and obnoxious, to the point where even with noise-cancelling headphones, I can’t hear my own music. It completely ruins the training experience. To make things worse, even the drinking fountain doesn't work.

I’ve been a member for years and I travel for work and been to many AF gyms across the US. This one is by far the worst gym! Equipment is either broken or duct taped. I witness someone trying to use the broken cable machine which makes it unsafe. Guess if it can’t be fixed with duct tape it’s left alone. Stepping into this gym in Odessa, Texas, is like walking onto the set of Rocky Balboa’s training montage—raw, gritty, and not for the faint of heart. This is an old-school, hard-core spot where you half-expect to see guys bench-pressing oil rigs. Honestly, it feels like you need to be a male at least 250 pounds just to get a membership card. I’m giving it three stars, mostly because it’s got some surprising amenities, but man, this place is a character all its own.
The weight machines? Held together with duct tape and sheer willpower. But, weirdly, the cardio equipment looks newer—maybe because nobody here seems to touch it. The vibe is pure intensity, with a crew of burly dudes who look like they’ve been lifting since the Reagan era. I couldn’t get a workout in; the atmosphere was so heavy, I felt like I needed a patch member as an escort just look around. They’ve got a couple of tanning booths and showers, which is a plus, but I’d recommend suiting up in full hazmat gear before stepping into either.
Now, let me spin a little story about this place, because it’s begging for one. Picture this: back in the ‘80s, a passionate fitness guy—let’s call him Big Tony—scrimped, saved, and maybe arm-wrestled a few loans to open his dream gym. It was a hit, packed with him and his buddies, the kind of crew that’d make the Bash Brothers look like yoga instructors. The gym earned a rep as *the* spot for serious lifters. Fast-forward a few decades, Big Tony sadly passes, and his heirs inherit the place. Problem is, they’d rather be anywhere else. The dust’s an inch thick, the Wi-Fi password’s buried under a pile of old Muscle Mag issues, and the whole place feels frozen in time. I like to imagine the guys still pumping iron here are Tony’s old homeboys, keeping the gym alive out of respect for their friend, duct-taping machines and sweeping just enough to keep the doors open.
The women’s restroom, surprisingly, isn’t the worst I’ve seen—maybe because it’s the one corner these guys don’t touch. Still, this gym’s got heart, no doubt, but it’s a relic that needs some love to shine again. Three stars for the amenities and the flashback but I’ll be working out somewhere less likely to cast me as an extra in a Stallone flick.

DIRTY location! I've traveled the world and been to many Anytime Fitnesses and this is second worst compared to the one I went in the Phillipines. Disgraceful. So here is the deal. I just love a decent place to train. I’m not super picky. Especially when I’m on the road for work or business. Anytime Fitness gives me the privacy I need , convenience and the avoidance of big crowds. I do love to visit bigger gyms in different cities as a hobby. With that said, I got my training in. It had everything I needed. But, the cleanliness of the restrooms were not great. The gym equipment could definitely be repaired and replaced correctly not with duct tape and super glue. I mean, we as customers pay a solid price membership dues. Considering the surrounding gym scene and competition right now is pretty good. I think the members deserve better than dirty restrooms and duct tape. Like I said , I’ll train in a garage if I have to. But I’d like to see this money used to help make this gym and equipment suitable and presentable for me and the Anytime Fitness customer base. Would I go back again? Yes. My training is priority. I’ll work around the dirty stuff and patched up equipment. However I’m only taking the time to submit this to help make these changes. Spend the money and the time to keep it cleaner. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little hesitant visiting this location while in town for business. I dropped by on an early Thursday morning and had the entire gym to myself for the first hour. First, the facility is located in a very run-down strip mall, and curb appeal is definitely not a selling point here! Once inside, the facility offers a LOT of equipment - 5 treadmills, 5 ellipticals, and a couple of bikes for cardio. 4 cages (3 free weight and 1 Smith) and a multitude of machines with plenty of options. Looks like they also have a studio for classes or individual training.

The place was organized well with plenty of weight plates available at each station. Cleaning supplies were placed throughout the gym to encourage hygiene. The issue is that the place is clearly run-down and many pieces of equipment are well used. I didn't find the place "dirty" but many pieces need to be replaced as there was a lot of silver tape being used for temporary fixes. That being said, none of the equipment I saw were "broken" - they're just not in pristine condition.

Overall, this gym offers more equipment options than many of the "brand new" AF facilities I've visited and it looks like the management and regular gym members take care of their gym as best they can. I would say that many of the negative reviews are a bit unfair, and I would definitely return to this gym the next time I'm in town.

By far, it's the nastiest Anytime Fitness location that I've been to. Be sure to be up to date on tetanus shots for this place. At first glance, it'll make you go back outside to be sure you came in the right door. Each equipment has torn up vinyl coverings, whether they work or not. Most members there didn't use the filthy reusable rag to wipe down after themselves.A layer of dirt and other objects cover each foot pads on elliptical or similar machines. Don't even think of using the restrooms while you're there and if so, be sure to hover at least 6 inches above toilet seat. The owners must not be too proud of this location. I feel as though I need to go shower after reliving that experience.

I have been a member of anytime for some time. I have spent a lot of time in other clubs due to my job and this is by far the dirtiest place I have been in. I understand why equipment will be down for issue but I have seen the same equipment down for a few months now. Seeing how some of the pads are being held together with duck tape is also disappointing.

Been a member here for years. The gym is small but easily accessible and in a good spot for me to go after work. Planning on canceling my membership because the equipment is in disrepair. Treadmills are out of commission. Tanning beds don't work. My key fob has been acting up and I can't get a staff member to answer the phone or return my calls.

I’ve been going there for 5 years now and just now reading these reviews. If you think this place is too dirty, too loud, “run down” then you’re just being a Karen. It’s the cutest small gym, very comfortable and you get to know the regulars quickly. Never have had a problem! The owners are awesome and down to earth as well. As long as I feel comfortable, get a good workout in, thats all I care about and it’s the perfect place for that!

Gym is in a really run down area and shopping center. Im an out of town member and came to work out here. I noticed I forgot my key fob and was coming in staffed hours to have them check me in. Today ( a Tuesday) posted hours on the door are 12-8pm. I am here at 6:30 pm and it’s locked, no one working. Called the phone and went to voicemail. Maybe a good thing I didn’t work out here based on outside and previous reviews. Service is definitely sub par compared to other clubs.

Close to my circle (convinent location) however, for whatever reason, there are a couple of machines that are broken and have been broken for awhile now. I used those in my routine. There are plenty of weights and machines, to many for this size location. The housekeeping is atrocious, weights everywhere mid all over the floors, mirrors unclean. The paint is chipping off the walls and the pads in the machines are peeling and cracked substantially. I don’t mind the loud music, but some may. The gym itself is really too small and you are constantly on top of other members due to the tight quarters. This isn’t my home gym and sadly my have to say I’m glad.

I was a guest here and when I went in there was vomit on the restroom sink. Also the free weights were on the floor and unorganized. The room in the back where you can stretch or workout at was also a mess, things weren’t clean or put back where they belonged. They were missing a few equipment pieces and when I asked they just said they don’t have them. I can’t imagine having to pay such an expensive membership for a dirty gym that isn’t complete.

Very discourteous staff, highly unprofessional atmosphere, dishonesty with answers and downright rude as if they own everything like all others in west Texas. Anytime fitness can thank a unnamed employee actually from another state for my continued patronage. I WILL NOT be using the facility in Odessa ever again because of this. Too cold..69 in a gym..
Blowing cold air on treadmills just right to hit your back and lungs.
Any bench work or situps.. blinding lights. Safety issues and muscle cramps..nice...
And even if you have music buds in your ears it's ok you still get to hear there music..nice..

Ive been to 15 or more anytime fitness locations... this locationnis poor in comparison.
but.. for the location it works.

1 cable cross ober station and 20guys... that doesnt work for the volume of people working out.

Great place to workout, not to crowded and enough equipment to get whatever workout you need done. The owner is very kind and always open to any advice or any questions you have on fitness. Only problem is discourteous members who wear their dirty boots in the weight area and track mud everywhere because they are to lazy to change into tennis shoes.. but that isn't the gym's fault and when the owner arrives he cleans it up ASAP. To me it would seem that anybody that goes to this gym does not care about hygiene because the cleanliness of this place is so horrible, the loud music is not bad but the nastiness of the bathroom is so disturbing!!!.. smells like urine stains in the carpet shower has mold in it and the Machines are sticky... >>super gross Odessa Texas<<

It was a very nice gym, lots of various equipment. And, to my surprise, one of my students whom I had not seen in about 20 years (he was in elementary school) owns the gym. He is a great guy and comes from a great family. Any time I am in Odessa I will visit Anytime Fitness with Clint.

Awesome size gym! Today was my first day to go in...I'm a member at the location in katy tx. This location is very spacious and the owner is a good guy!
