This is the first single access Anytime Fitness I’ve encountered. Don’t plan on coming here if your home gym is anywhere but here. I called no answer, the manager was hiding in the office so I couldn’t find out why I couldn’t get in. I went to EOS right down the road, much better place… this is terrible

When I signed up the guy that enrolled me told me if I ever wanted to cancel it would be $250 & after having health problems and honestly just not being satisfied with how little the gym offers I wanted to cancel and the manager refuses to allow me to cancel which i feel is such a scam because I was mislead to think that I could cancel if I paid the $250. The worst gym membership I have ever had & honestly I already know I am going to get another rude call after this survey. Just like when I did a survey last time. Dont have your workers mislead people that theres a cancellation fee when theres not. I feel forced to keep this membership to this small gym that has little to offer and I have never felt that way in all the other gyms I have been to before. Terrible way to force people to keep their membership. Save your money and go to planet fitness

I’ve had a fantastic experience at Anytime Fitness. The gym is always clean, well maintained, and never too crowded which makes working out so much more enjoyable. The equipment is top quality and available around the clock which makes it really convenient for my schedule.

A special shoutout to James, the manager. He is incredibly friendly, professional, and always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. He genuinely cares about the members and it shows in how he runs the gym. Thank you James for creating such a positive and motivating environment.

The facility lacks the workout equipment a bigger gym like EOS may have. Its a nice little private gym, however, it is entirely too crowded at times. Most importantly the gyms contracts are predatory. Once you sign up there is NO WAY TO CANCEL. YOU CANT EVEN PAY A FEE. I HAVE BEEN PAYING $50 A MONTH and no longer go to this facility. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO FIND AN EOS GYM. THEY ARE STATE OF THE ART, HUGE AND ALSO OPEN 24 HRS. Anytime fitness is also open 24 hours a day which is nice but the business is involved in predatory practices. Don't say I didn't warn you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM.

I used this gym for a few weeks while visiting family in the area. It's okay to get your workout in, but there is definitely some room for improvement. There is only one squat rack and one lifting platform, and the two of them are attached. When you're deadlifting and someone else wants to squat, you get a LOT closer to other members than expected (think human centipede scenario). Members here tend to not wipe down equipment, which is an example set by the staff as I've witnessed one of the trainers take clients around the gym without wiping anything down.

I was a member from October 2020 to August 2023, but I re-joined this June since I liked the fact that I would have 24/7 access.

For the most part what I like about this gym is that although it is small and doesn't have all these amenities as larger gyms, it is easily accessible 24/7. It has all the equipment that the average gym goer needs and even for some of the more experienced ones. It is very clean.

Gym patrons are respectful of each other and I have never seen or experienced any drama.

My only issue is that even when the gym opened in 2020, I noticed that some of the equipment looked used. The gym has since replaced much of the equipment.

The water fountain doesn't seem to work very lately.

Other than those small issues, I'm glad that I returned to thia gym.

I have had a horrible experience in regard to canceling my membership with this gym and my overall reason for wanting to leave. The staff is extremely judgmental and openly criticize member to others. They critique people's weight in a non-constructive way and even personal life matters.
They are also very politically conservative and pressure you to follow their ideals. Upon attempting to stop the payments of my contract and cancel it, l discovered more problems. Like others, I was told I signed a two year contract when the person I first spoke to, when I signed up, ensured me it was going to be a one year. I have attempted to contact the owner and managers and receive no form of responding communication.

My wife has been a member of this place for a month. She hired Violet as a personal trainer. The results she has accomplished motivated me to join this gym. I'm now down 40lbs and feeling better than ever. The gym is clean and well lit. Plenty of tvs. Rare is the occasion that I have to wait for a machine. The trainers Violet and Paul are super friendly and helpful. You can see that they love what they do.

My husband and I have been members for almost two years and we have nothing but good things to say. Lots of equipment variety but with a smaller gym feel. The gym space is always clean and paper towels/sanitizer is always stocked. My favorite area is the turf for a dynamic workout.

Anytime Fitness in Rosenberg is my first ever gym to join. I have been working out my whole life at home w/ dumbbells but decided I wanted to try the place to have access to better equipment. This is a super nice somewhat small facility & has everything I need minus a real bench press which I know is for safety after hours. The place is really clean & restroom/shower is always clean. It gets pretty crowded during peak time but I go after midnight & love having the facility pretty much to myself. 95 %of equipment is always working too. I wish people would rerack their weights but I guess that’s at every gym. I will continue to enjoy my membership here since it’s 10 mins from my house.

My daughter and I went in to sign up today. We were greeted by Cinthya and got a tour from Malik. Cinthya and Malik were very professional, knowledgeable, and seem to be very down to earth people who took the time to explain to us, pretty much everything. Facilities and equipment are very well maintained and cleaned. There was one other person (lady) very nice and knew her stuff too, but I didn't catch her name. That one is on me. Definitely just found out permanent gym! Thanks!!

If I had a complaint it would be that they need a dry sauna. *Edit 90% of the time the bathroom is locked and staff doesn't have a key. On more than one occasion I've had to piss in a bottle in my truck mid workout.

I'm giving this place a one star purely because their employees are all great. Enrique was respectful and super sweet. Now, the owner of this establishment has the worst possible customer service ever. I needed to put a freeze on my account due to 1) me not using their gym since January of 2022. 2) It's a lot to pay especially right now with all my other expenses. So you know, I thought "okay, let me freeze it for 3 months and then once I'm more comfortable at the end of it, continue my contract" well turns out I need the owner's approval in order to FREEZE. Not cancel. Not back out of the contract. Simply just FREEZE. Enrique called me to give me this news since the owner couldn't give me a call herself. He informed me the only way I can freeze or cancel is if I get a doctor's note saying I was in a terrible accident. Enrique informed me that the owner cannot do anything because it is a franchise, but to me it seems that the "owner" doesn't want to do anything. At the end of the day, she is the owner, isn't she? If she wanted to, she would. I would understand if I was looking to cancel my contract, but all I asked for was a simple freeze. In conclusion, once my contract ends, I will never sign with them ever again which is unfortunate because I actually like the facility and the employees. Either way, it does not matter to the owner since she already took $120/month from me for a year straight. Basically what I'm, getting to is that don't sign with them! Other gyms are way more considerate of what people may be going through. For example, LA Fitness and Lifetime are super understanding and will always try to find a solution for you. The only reason I signed with them was because I wanted to start going with my friend and this was close to her house.

UPDATE 10/11: Everything was all just pure miscommunication. The owner, Joanna, contacted me directly and everything was cleared up. My account is now frozen for 3 months. She was very understanding with everything and we got to the source of the problem. Enrique also emailed me to confirm my account's new status and apologized.

Not a packed gym, I can always find open spots at any machine, restrooms are clean. ITS A PRIVATE GYM. I always feel safe there. It's like... idk $40 a month. It was pricy to get started but most gyms are. They have vending machines and water refill stations. Overall, great!

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness for over 3 months now and can say with certainty that it is worth the money. The facilities are clean day and night, every member who comes here is very respectful, they wipe down the equipment after use, and no one person hogs a machine or equipment. They are thief’s and very unorganized I injured my foot on may of 2021 so couldn’t work out anymore and called and spoke to one of the women about cancelling my gym membership and she said she was going to take care of it for me and never did they kept charging me for every month that I did not go to their gym anymore for I had cancelled my card so they don’t charge me anymore but they kept there own bill and sent it to collections when I no longer went there anymore they are scammers and thief’s thought they where friendly but it was all a face just to keep you paying and getting your money will never come to this gym ever again

I really like Anytime fitness. It doesn't have all the amenities that other gyms may have but that's not why I consistently go back. I continue to go Monday- Friday without fail because of the community, equipment available to me, and workouts they provide on the app. The price is a little more than I was expecting but over all I am very satisfied. It's rarely crowed which is a huge plus for me.

Signed up for the place when they were opening, no one said anything about a 12 month contract. They called me in October to pick up my key and I informed them that I was thinking about canceling because of a new job. Still they didn't say anything about a 12 month contract. Called them a week before Thanksgiving and canceled my membership and no one said anything about a 12 month contract. Got a phone call yesterday about picking up the key, they now told me about a 12 month contract, nothing was ever canceled, explained them everything that I just said, and the response was "your still held reasonable for the rest of the contract because you signed it." So just watch on what they throw at you to sign. If I knew there was a contract, I would had stayed at the crossfit down the street and its cheaper.

The machines are good and there is a decent variety with them, but their missing a few pieces of equipment; a squat rack (It was my understanding all AFs had one) and EZ-BARs/curl barbells (even planet fitness has these).
It's a good gym (They have all the weight machines you could need, classes, and trainers) But with missing the aforementioned 2 equipment, I personally can't justify the cost over planet fitness. But, for most other people it will certainly be a step up for them. 24 hours open is a plus.

Nice new gym, love the plyometrics area in the middle. No one was working at 10am on a Friday to ask questions. No real squat racks, only Smith machines. Good gym for cardio, or leisure weight resistance. If you are truly lifting, bench, squat, deadlifts those won’t work here so I will stick with the Anytime in Wharton.
