Visiting from North Texas, I always land in AF @ Round Rock to workout. The location is a bit hidden and has been next to a road that has been under construction for a while. You will have plenty of parking spaces as you drive into the lot. As you enter the building, you can read all the papers telling non-members to stay away and consequences for letting someone in without their key. The location has plenty of free weight, universal machines and clean bathrooms. This locations ample size allows for all members to have their space and work out comfortably. If you are in from out of town or looking for a new gym, AF @RR a good choice.

I visited Austin for a few days and needed a place to train. I found this Anytime fitness On Gattis School Road. They were very accommodating to what I needed. The gym was clean, organized and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I’m glad I was able to get to train here. If I lived in the area I would be a member for sure.

Great gym with a clean, well-maintained space and a welcoming atmosphere. The equipment is in good condition, and it’s never too crowded (except for the first week of January, of course). The 24/7 access is a huge plus for a busy schedule. Rockbot app even lets you help choose the music!

This place was awful. I have been a long time member of anytime and visited this location with my girlfriend cause the owner and trainers made her feel uncomfortable so she didn’t want to go alone. They were so rude to me, accusing me of not scanning in and forced me to verify my account. First and only time since that I had to verify my account with my drivers license and military ID. Never went back

I am a Canadian member of Canada's Anytime Fitness since 2012. The difference between Canada's and THIS gym is mammoth on every metric. Size? This gym is double the size of its Canadian counterpart. Equipment? In terms of quantantity (more machines) and quality (better) equipment is in a FAR BETTER condition. Etiquette? In Canada I had been wiping after the SAME member for +8 months despite informing management because rules are not enforced. I was surprised all members wipe down the equipment and restack their weights -- first time I did not wipe after anyone or remove the weights after anyone since 2012. Shower area? More spacious and I was surprised it has shower gel which is not offered in Canada's Anytime Fitness. Cleanliness? This gym uses BETTER wipes and Canada's version uses WORST version: towel papers and spray bottles (some members spray less or more and brown paper doesn't properly absorb).

I only wish THIS manager would oversee Canada's Anytime Fitness gyms as I only wish to see a replica of this gym (both in facilities and etiquette) in Canada.

Avoid this location if you have any respect for yourself. This Anytime Fitness location by far the most rude and aggressive out of the 5 Anytime Fitness locations I have been a member of. The staff here are very responsive in email and social media because they get a power trip from arguing with members. Quite frankly they are just disrespectful and proud of it. Like in other reviews, I witnessed uneven enforcement of rules such as re-racking weights, wiping down equipment, and talking on the phone. The staff straight up let some members violate rules while threatening to fine and revoke membership of others. They will say that they have strict rules to keep the experience great for everyone but I think it just gives them an excuse to cause trouble for certain people just for fun. You might have a good experience, or you might be one of those that the staff single out because they get amusement out of bullying people.

5 stars and I'll tell you why. I paid for a 6-month pre-paid membership, and then 2 days later I got a new job in an office with a provided gym. The Anytime Fitness contract said that as long as I cancel within 3 business days, I could cancel and get a refund. So I put in my request.

I prepared myself for a big fight. Gyms are notorious for playing around with people and holding their money hostage. But Anytime Fitness in Round Rock did not do that to me. I was pleasantly surprised to open my credit card statement and see the charge followed by the credit. I didn't have to follow up. I didn't have to get loud. They simply did the right thing by me, the first time, with zero hassle.

If I lose this job and my access to its free gym, you bet I'll be right back at Anytime Fitness, because they treated me with dignity in an industry that is famous for not doing so.

If you live in the Round Rock area and are looking for a gym to really get it in without any distractors, this is the place for you. I have been going to this Anytime Fitness for almost six months and my experience has been exceptional. As a Soldier, physical fitness is a priority and it is refreshing to find a place where the clientele sticks to the core values of fitness. You don’t have to worry about people making you feel uncomfortable or harassed. During the week, I go to this gym from 0500-0700 and the atmosphere has always been safe and friendly. The facility is always clean and the equipment is in excellent condition. Also, if you are a newbie and feel intimidated using the gym equipment, I would highly recommend you schedule a session with Mr. Rae Escobar who is one of the Physical Trainers on site. I always get to witness first hand the progress and satisfaction of the clients he trains when I am in the gym. His creativity in the workouts and dedication to his customers is admirable. He is definitely an asset to this gym. Keep up the excellent customer service Anytime Fitness! You have an A+++ in my book.

Clean gym. People come in, work out, and leave. This gym offers daily passes for these people like myself who are visiting from out of town and are not Anytime Fitness members.

They provide key fobs for after staff hours use so visiting non-members can access the gym at their leisure and have nice fob drop to return the fob when done. Overall a great experience.

A decent mid size gym. Everything is fairly clean including the bathrooms. Gym isn't too over crowded either. Certain times will have less gym goers. A decent amount of cardio, and weight training equipment. The only down side I see to the gym are the showers. The "hot" water becomes "luke warm" after about 7 minutes. This is with both showers. I dunno if this is intentional to get people to hurry up in the shower or to help with the water bill.

so...i'm 71. covid almost took me out. when i got home, the only thing i could do was eat! a lot! looked at a pic with grandkids and asked, "who's that old fat guy?" 3yr old said, "that's you, pop pop!" as soon as i got back to texas i joined anytime (july 13) today is aug 13. gone from 214 to 202! i feel so much better! this location in round rock is awesome! the staff is great, the machines are great, the bathrooms are clean, the place smells great! i can get in and out in 15min, or 30 if i hit the machines twice. really making a difference for me!

Anytime Fitness in Round Rock on Gattis School Rd. is an awesome location. My personal experience with all the staff here is that they have been very professional, respectful and kind. Also, their equipment is modern and super clean and they also seem to have a very good air purification system because every time I've entered their gym the air quality has always smelled crisp and clean. This gym is very clean. Not that surprising considering every time I go there 3 times a week to work out, there is always a professional cleaning lady there cleaning. Also, their personal trainer Rae is truly one of the best of the best most awesome personal trainers in the industry and also a really good person who has helped me to achieve some incredible results with great strength and muscle gain and weight loss. If you're looking for some serious results, do what I did and do yourself a favor and sign up for Rae's max pack training sessions and schedule with him 3x/week. Their prices are also very reasonable for everything you get. If you're looking for cheap or free (for you and all your guests), please do us all a favor and go somewhere else.

I really like this atmosphere. I've only worked out here after 11pm. This gym is small, clean, has clean bathrooms, a pretty good smell for a gym, and the gym-goers that workout at the same time as me come in, handle their business, and get out. I recommend working out here. They provide sanitizing wipes and have all the equipment you need, but only one, so pick your workout time wisely.

I love anytime fitness, started working out at the lakeline club and loved it. We bought a new house in round rock and switched to this one, I can’t believe that the management here actually runs a business. This place dose not like new people!! They say they have strict rules about cleaning up but they don’t apply the rules equally. The regulars will not clean up after themselves and there is no issue. But if I forgot to wipe something down after leaving for the restroom i they send me passive aggressive texts and then threaten me with fines and say they will lock me out of the gym that I pay for. I get it I like a clean gym too but being targeted from the moment I started going and being threatened with fines for rules that aren't fairly enforced, that's ridiculous. And when you call in you're met with rude responses and how since you are a visitor that your money doesn't go directly to that club so your opinion doesn't matter and they are glad to see you stop going. The management I spoke refused to give me their name and hung up on me.

I love Anytime Fitness, but this location truly disappointed me. The staff here address situations poorly, and lack grace and respect. They argue back and forth with you like children. I highly recommend anywhere but here. Personally, the location on Lakeline Blvd is the best. I love the coaches and the positive, friendly, and welcoming environment. Whoever handles phone calls here admitted that they try to run off "new people." The rules posted in the gym here aren't enforced to the "regulars." In other words, the regular gym rats can make a mess (weights on the floor and not clean down the equipment) without being threatened fees and gym locks on their account. Plus this location is musty and crusty. :)

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Current employees are VERY RUDE and AGRESSIVE when communicating with a long time gym member. Recently was contacted by text in a very aggressive way because of ONE mistake that was made and was being threatened to have my membership revoked when a gentle reminder or even a warning could've been told. I pay $50 a month for my membership ($600 each year) and Thursday was the first time I’d ever been questioned by a “club manager” about bringing in a guest. I love anytime fitness! Sergie and RA do a wonderful job maintaining the gym and greeting their customers. They are both very kind. I’m thankful for their excellent customer service. I never had a gym that was so bad like this one I was harassed by 2 men and and 2 of the trainers here just because I took my shirt off to look at what I needed to work on. I’ve been to every other anytime fitness and never had a problem with me taking my shirt off... they Told me I had to leave because I wasn’t following the “contract guidelines” when nothing in the contract says you can’t workout without a shirt. I pay money to go to a gym to workout and look my best not to have grown a** men look at me dirty and tattletale like kids to the trainer about me having my shirt off. Very disappointed!

This anytime fitness in Round Rock is one of my favorite gyms I've ever gone to because it is rarely ever crowded, the manager is extremely hospitable friendly and helpful, and it has everything I need to accomplish my health and fitness goals. They also have plenty of bathrooms and an infrared sauna which keeps the blood and swear flowing nicely! This Anytime Fitness is a good place to go for your fitness needs and if you do not like/want to go to a big gym. There is always available equipment and they are well taken care of. It will not have everything like a 24 hour or Gold's but you can definitely get a good workout on here. It is quiet and the overhead music is usually pretty good and not too loud. It is not overly crowded even at peak times. I have never felt intimidated or self-conscious like I have at other big name gyms.

I came from Gold's Gym at the Hester's Crossing location to this gym at first, because it's location is just that much more convenient for me. During the seven day trial I noticed this gym has everything I need and I don't have to worry about getting in at a certain time so that I could avoid heavy traffic at the gym. Those to me are the two most important things.

The owner "Brady" is an athletic guy himself, so it helps that you're talking to someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about fitness. You can tell that he cares about this gym succeeding and is open to/wanting hearing your feedback.

The trainer Brian is very impressive with his pistol squats and flag pole holds. I've worked with him twice and soon to do a 3rd session. He'll push you hard and show you plenty of new exercises if you've gotten stale in your routine.

The fact that it's 24 hour access is perfect. No matter your schedule you can make time with that kind of access.

I've been going for a little over a month now and can say that I'm much happier when comparing to the other gyms I've been to in Round Rock.

I was supposed to get a free week membership here. A friend and I had made an appointment for 1pm to show us around the gym and process the one week free membership. The lady by the name of Patty who works there part time is very rude in a round about way, hard to explain. I guess the best way to describe it would be poor customer service. As soon as I walked through the door she acknowledged me as if I was lost, or in the wrong place. My prices were written on a post it note, she showed me around as if it were a burden to her job, I guess because I interrupted her lunch. When I turned in my trial key she just said "well sorry", did not even bother to ask why. I can go down 1 mile to the clay madsen center for a portion of the price with people who are kind and nice for a fraction of the cost, that includes pool, basketball, classes, childcare...etc. To the owner of this joint, I highly recommend you approach this problem. If not for just her, you would have my money, but I'd rather give it to gas.

My current gym is moving locations so I was looking for a similar small replacement that is close by. Unfortunately, others on here are right about the pricing. My current gym is also not a "big box" chain, it's a small independent, but it's larger than this location and has a bit more equipment... yet it only costs me $10/mo with no contract. Sorry, but I feel you guys are *way* out of line on pricing, especially since your big selling point is the convenience you can't get with a big chain (which I agree with you about) but when another, similar (but a bit larger) indie is less than a third of the price, that really makes this a hard sell. Looks like I'll be sticking with my current place and just making a bit of a longer drive.

I came into Anytime, and was greeted by Brady who immediately made me feel like part of the community. I love how spacious the gym is with all your fitness , wellness, and strength needs. I'm not worried about waiting in line for equipment, and/or people hogging equipment either. Big plus ! I can already see my workout coming to life in that space, as I looked around. And what's best: you can swipe your membership card anytime to workout. And since it does require a card , it makes it feel safe and exclusive. I highly recommend, and be sure to speak with Brady when you walk in. All your fitness needs will be taken care of.
