I recently signed up. The facility is more spacious. I do not recall the young man's name in the office, but he was knowledgeable and quick. As well as respectful.

So, I signed up online and stopped by the club at 4pm to get a FOB. Sign on the door said office was closed, despite the hrs on the website stating they were open until 5pm. Called the number listed during signup several times but no answer. Now they aren’t open again until Monday. App won’t allow me to badge in because it says I need to come in person to see the manager first lol. Unfortunately, I’m not the only reviewer who has noted staff is not there during advertised hours. I would say don’t bother signing up online and just go in person if you plan to sign up to make sure you can actually use the membership ince you pay for it.

I knew better than to join a chain gym but it was all Whitehouse has to offer. It was by far the most run down Anytime Fitness I have ever attended, but I have seen recently they did get a long overdue remodel. After our year contract was up, we decided to cancel due to our busy schedules. My husband cancelled at the beginning of November 2024 and spoke with John. John then called about a week later stating that I would have to personally call and cancel myself that my husband could not cancel for me, even though we are on the same account. I called John that same day. We had another family member on our account and I asked - does she need to call and cancel as well? He said NO, that our last draft would be at the end of the month and he had everything he needed.

Fast forward we realized at the end of January we were still being drafted for our other family member plus our bi-annual dues. My husband called and called, then tried to go by in person to speak with someone. John, who had helped us with cancelling of course is no longer there and they were in the middle of remodeling. And you HAVE to speak with someone to get this taken care of. Here we are, in April and we still have no resolution and have $200+ that should be refunded to us. They are now telling us that if we did not receive an email of cancellation then we did not cancel the 3rd family member. Which is funny, because neither my husband or I ever received a cancellation email when we did ours. Shame on us for not getting anything in writing - I do understand contracts and legalities. But in this economy, Anytime Fitness should be ashamed of themselves to keep peoples hard earned dollars due to an employee error. Especially when we still fulfilled our contractual obligation. Any chance of us ever returning are GONE.

After a long period of sedentary lifestyle, decided to give gym experience a try. So glad I did! Anytime Fitness was the perfect fit for a positive change. Convenient location, top of the line equipment, always clean, friendly staff. With the direction and encouragement of my awesome trainer Jonathon, I am feeling better than I have in a long time. More energy and mobility than I’ve had in years. I highly recommend!!

Watch your billing! Random $$ coming out of my account. Nothing but problems for a year with their 3rd party billing. When I stop by the gym to cancel, manager isn’t on site. Makes it easy to keep customers if you’re not around to cancel memberships. Higher if not the highest price gym in the area with no additional value. I honestly don’t know how they justify their prices. Gym management is a revolving door as well. Can’t count how many managers have come and gone over the years.

This place is horrible, my wife has been trying to cancel her membership since shortly after joining. Supplied a doctor’s note and they still won’t cancel and keep charging us. Do not recommend at all!

Wow! This is not a good wow either! Joined online paid for our membership but have not had access to the gym because no one is staffed there! Finally found out that I could go to the one at Green acres to get fob. Guess what no one there either! So far 6 visits trying to get fob! I called the one on old Jacksonville and they are getting my fob! So 7 visits later I will have my fob! Website says they are staffed and gives opening hours. So far Anytime Fitness I am very disappointed! I was member at anytime 12 years ago. Apparently their customer service has changed. So far very disappointed! Just so you know I also left several Messages and no one bothered to call me back!

I really like this exercise facility. I do not know of a machine that is needed. I think once while there, I thought...it would be cool to have ????. I don't remember what it was. There is always someone around, sometimes just another patron, but everyone helps everyone.
I have not been there in a couple weeks. Sold my house, and unsure of where relocating now. If I stay near, I will continue, but unsure of next step.

This Anytime Fitness is a scam. Because they are individually owned, I suggest finding one that has monthly contracts at half the price. I’m stuck in a two-year contract with my money going toward profit, not the gym. I stopped going because it was dirty, machines broken and not repaired for months, and customer service isn’t great. I’m trying to get my membership transferred to Kilgore and they have no clue how to do it. Kilgore has looked up my details and shows no way to transfer me. It’s ridiculous. About to call corporate or the BBB next.

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!! It is owned by a crook. Never returns calls. Never returns emails. I have been trying to cancel for months. I don’t live in the same state anymore so I was told by corporate that I have to fly to Texas to cancel my membership. Do yourself a favor and get some home equipment and save a lot of money and headaches. I can’t express enough how miserable this gym makes me feel. Anytime Fitness is a terrible company.

Beware I have been a member for many years and decided to go to another gym with more perks called several times to cancel recently And during the Covid gym shutdown something happened with billing but since I was no longer in contract so I wasn’t really concerned as well as given the fact no one would return my calls now I’m being contacted by a collection agency saying I owe 290$$$ for my membership dues and still calling and leaving messages with no reply this is poor management and unacceptable go to a gym that keeps people on staff for communication!!!!

Love this Gym. I have a friend that lives in whitehouse when I visit I come to this gym at least once sometimes twice. My favorite equip Hammer Strength. The only reason a 4 star for this gym is because the TV game is weak. There is one 12” tv in this gym. Also my personal preference I love gyms that have sanitizer bottles with a rag next to the equip. Other than that I will always visit the gym. And as far as the TVs go. It’s just a vibe. I’d take the one tv out. Or go get 5 or 6 big ones. :)) i don’t even watch tv in the gym but if your gonna have em! Step the game up! (This review is with love... haha)

Nothing special about this gym...it's a gym. My review is based on the contract details and how they charged me a full months due on the last day of my contract. Now, I had to pay it because they drafted my bank account, and I did give the full 30 days notice. So I"m stuck paying for a month of gym membership and I can't even use the gym. Be careful with your contracts as they aren't understanding and even get rude and condesending.
