Rachel- front desk person- Very bad experience with front desk person named Rachel. Instead of helping us answering questions, she was very rude, not letting me talk and cutting me off while speaking. She was raising voice constantly impolite.Aquatots please don’t keep someone impolite at the front desk. This is my fourth time I am experiencing this attitude from Rachel. Managers should do something about this behaviour so that customers won’t feel bad when trying to speak.

We love Aqua-Tots! I can’t thank the coaches enough—all of them deserve recognition. Their patience and encouragement helped my toddlers. They dont have any control on their operations.
They change the coaches everyweek and that will impact your kids progress .
They will go to any extent to keep your kid in the same level so that they can collect more money.

I’m not clear why for the app glitch we have to spend money. My kid got moved to level 5 but the app scheduled makeup class for level 4 when he is in level 5 . I’m not sure what is happening until he finishes the class . One class is wasted and got the response saying as he utilized the class they can’t reissue class for level 5 again . Also when we are continuing from last year 45$ charged for registration again for new year without notifying . All these made us to think it’s becoming commercial place alone !!!

This place sucks, don't waste your time. They do cancel lot of classes either by saying trainers are not available, pool is not in condition, long week ends holiday. They cancel for long week ends as well beyond long week end window, it seems like they take more holidays than general public for long weekends. I would not recommend this place. Imagine they cancel 20 classes & if you are doing 2 times per week, then you have to finish those 20 classes while your membership is active, so even if you add extra class per week then it will take 5 months to catch up on make up classes they issue for their fault. Once your membership is over then you can't use it. I am fine to do the extra class per week, but the slots are barely available as they are short on staff. Suck a sick place.

Aquatota last few months have become worse. They are canceling classes randomly several time. A week back they cancelled whole week. This week so far Wednesday and Friday classes are canceled. My daughter is in level 8 took her to a swim team evaluation. All her strokes are needing correction. Hope they can get their act together and improve quality. I enrolled my kid in a 30-minute group lesson at Aqua Tots Swim School, which had 4 kids per class—a nice balance for individual attention while still promoting group interaction.

Coach Isabella is an excellent swim instructor with a strong ability to engage with kids and make learning fun. She is patient, attentive, and provides clear instructions, ensuring each child gets the attention they need to improve their skills. Her positive attitude and encouragement help boost confidence in the water. Overall, Isabella’s teaching style is both effective and enjoyable, making her a standout coach at the swim school.

The receptionists were exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming.

Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by the rude and unhelpful attitude of the manager. Despite the great service from the other staff, the manager’s lack of courtesy and willingness to assist put a damper on the overall experience. If not for this, the school would be an ideal choice for swim lessons.

My little and I have had the best experience at Aqua-Tot Coppell. I love watching her progress from the extremely comfortable waiting area. The GM Wren, Rachel, & Stella provide extremely customer care for the children and the parents, they have the best instructors and communication of my little progress. It is so convenient to change a class if one something up unexpected, they are so extremely accommodating.

My little one enjoys the instructors and what she is learning. The facility is always clean, safe, and again comfortable.

After trying various swimming programs, including the YMCA, I decided to enroll my child at Aqua Tots in Coppell four months ago. The experience has surpassed our previous encounters, despite the facility being on the smaller side, it is impeccably maintained, and the heated pool ensures a worry-free experience even during the winter months.
My child really enjoys being in the water now and eagerly looks forward to her classes. The convenience of their dedicated app for scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling classes has been great . The added bonus of tracking my child's progress on the app adds a layer of transparency that we didn't find in other programs.
Aqua Tots' flexibility with rescheduling classes sets them apart. Unlike other programs where missing a class means losing money, Aqua Tots understands life happens, allowing parents to easily make adjustments . The small class sizes, limited to just four students at a time, create an intimate learning environment where instructors can provide individualized attention.
I must commend the amazing coaching team at Aqua Tots, especially Coach Jazmin, Cameron, and my child's absolute favorite, Coach Christopher. Their dedication and skill have played a significant role in our positive experience. My kiddo had a really hard time at first since he started when he was a bit older than the other kids there. The instructors were really good working with him and encouraging him. Staff seem experienced, and the coaches this fall season have all been great to work with. My daughter has been attending for over three months, and she’s left happy after almost every class. I definitely recommend attending on one of the less busy days (Mondays and Tuesdays work great for us) for a more relaxed environment. I’ve noticed other reviewers give low reviews when a class doesn’t go as planned due to a rambunctious kiddo that has a hard time paying attention. Yes - those classes do happen, and they’ve happened to us, too. I’ve learned which days and classes have calmer settings that work better for my daughter. Kids are kids, and the instructors, I believe, are doing their best and have genuine care and concern for all children. There is usually a “deck supervisor” to help with situations like these, and they can give the coach a hand when needed. The front office has been helpful in scheduling.

We love coming here. The staff are really responsive to requests. I mentioned that it would be nice to have more than one baby changing table, and two weeks later they had installed changing tables in every stall (around 10 total)!

I enjoy that I can go during times when it's not too busy, since my baby does a lot better during quiet times, as opposed to when there are a lot of people and more older kids who are having fun and being loud. I hope they continue to offer those little baby classes at quieter times.

I really enjoyed Aly Z, she was a great instructor. We had our 8 month old, the youngest baby there at the time. We were put in a class with toddlers where a toddler wasn't able to be controlled by their parent and was all over the place. I wasn't able to get into the water due to a recent surgery but I did allow my mother in law to take my place. About a month in, this kid stood up on the edge of the pool and almost wiped out my daughter. Not only was the side of our pool filled with 5 kids, one above ratio, but there was a whole lesson going on at the other end. My daughter loved swim class but for her safety, I pulled her out so she wouldn't have water splashed in her face.

This place is the worst!
They claim to have the experience and training, yet is is little teenagers that have no clue what they are doing.
My son has been to 3 classes and 2 out of the 3 he has gotten sick after. The place is filthy!
My child does not attend day care or is around other children regularly so he gets very excited and has a hard time concentrating. So the only thing these little teenagers know what to do is roll their eyes and get frustrated.
One of them grabbed my son by both arms and yelled at him.
Lastly, I switched him to private lessons thinking it was going to be the solution. Yet, again another disappointment. I was so shocked when the instructor asked me if my son was special needs or adhd. I am sorry but in no way it was okay for him to ask that.
I keep emailing and contacting the place to cancel all future classes and a refund. Yet no one is responding.
Overall, do not waste your time or money with this place.

My experience with Aqua tots is very satisfying. It’s been almost 6 months now for my son to take swimming classes here. In this COVID pandemic, they take all precautions like social distancing, wear mask and sitting arrangements for parents is also maintained 6ft. They clean everything after each session to make sure everyone is safe. I haven’t heard single person who got infected so this place is very safe for everyone and I recommend this place to everyone. The management and Frontdesk staff is very co-operative. They are very flexible with their schedule as well which is the great benefit which you might not get somewhere.

My 5 year old daughter has been going to Aqua-Tots (Coppell) since Fall 2019 and recently progressed to Level 4. The instructors are doing a great job of not only teaching her the required skills but also making the learning process a lot of fun for her. She looks forward to her swim class every weekend and as parents there is nothing more satisfying than that. Additionally, the admin staff is extremely polite and very accommodating with make-up classes due to cancellations. I highly recommend this swim school !

The experience at this aqua tots swim school has always been positive. The front desk staff are always available (with a smile) to answers any questions about rescheduling, vacation breaks, etc. The instructors concentrate on the child's positives during the swim class and mention the points to improve or concentrate on in the next classes. My son has been learning swimming at Aquatots from past 4 years. Today he is an excellent swimmer and we jumps into 12ft pools without hesitation. He has mastered different strokes. He started off as an infant and I was with him in the water initially. Now he is in the swim club and enjoys it very much. Aquatots Coppell staff has been always courteous and very flexible with our schedule. They made sure we used our make up classes and focused on kid's learning more than anything else. The instructors here were not only professional but also were entertaining. The location has been well maintained and clean at all times. I would recommend this place without any reservations.

I would recommend Aqua tots to all kids, there is no comparison to their teaching and flexible options around town. Great school and friendly staff. I am amazed how quickly both my girls learned how to swim and my older one has made it to the swim team. The teachers take time to teach girls the fundamentals and strokes. Both my daughter and son have been going to Aqua-Tots in Coppell for more than a year and it has been a wonderful experience for them as well as for us as parents.

Especially my son had an unusually high degree of fear of water. Instructors have been very patient with him and worked with him to gradually overcome his fear and now he is very confident in the water and thoroughly enjoys his swimming lessons.

Furthermore, the front desk staff are very nice and polite, and have been accommodating our requests for make-up lessons without any hesitation.

My both children were very beginners and hesitate to get in the water. We tried couple of other places including other swim schools and recreational centers but they had no curriculum in place and no progress, no feedback until they finish the term. When we started here at Aqua-Tots Swim Schools in Coppell, they learned a lot and now they can swim like a fish. They have a strong curriculum with trained instructors. We are very satisfied with the staff and management, they told everything up front when we registered for the swim lessons including make up policy and minimal rescheduling charges. I had no issues with that as they accommodate your child in another day without overloading the class size of max 4. I read other reviews and I won't agree with those comments. The management and staff try very hard and inform everything upfront and no surprises. They ask you 30 day notice when you want to stop the lessons and they pro-rate your tuition fees. Other places, you need to give them notice at the beginning of the month and if you miss the day, you need to stay for the current month and next month. Most of the reviews/comments which I read here were not genuine and when I was waiting for my children's swim lessons I had seen/heard few(many) families negotiating for everything including published pricing and wanted to break the policy by asking all kind of discounts and exceptions. The place is very tidy, the staff keeps them clean after every lesson of 30 minutes, the pool is very warm and even babies can enjoy the water. It is not intimidating and good size pool for learning all the strokes. I had seem some parents/adults learning swim lessons here as well. The coaches are great, smiling, very patient, go through the relevant skills in each level. One of my child was completed all the 8 levels and the second one is almost done. I strongly recommend to explore this facility and don't get judged with the negative reviews. Walk in yourself and they are ready to provide all the information, management was always there for you if you need any help. I feel sorry that they get attacked by few customers who want to break the rule/policy and if management tries to explain the policies, here they come to write the negative reviews. Along with my children there were may other children learned and graduated successfully but those families won't come forward to provide their experience though their children got learned all the swim skills, only those who want to break the rules?!?

I have had a very bad experience with Aqua Tots. It is mainly the fact that they are unprofessional and disrespectful to the time their customers put into bringing their child here to learn how to swim. (Coppell location) We took our baby for a class, the Russian lady at the front desk was so great. The things I didn’t like were ..
1) pool water wasn’t that warm
2) the room itself wasn’t warm enough for little babies
3) changing areas are horrible, they don’t have changin table in the pool room itself so in order for you to change for your LO is basically leaving the pool area which was freezing cold! I went home and the next day my baby got sick .
I personally would NOT go back.

I am searching for swimming lessons for my little one again and to my surprise this one came out the first in Google. The experience in this swimming school---the Coppell one--- was a nightmare. I want to make it clear that the coaches there are great!

The front desk staff was ok though not so helpful. The manager himself is an absolutely failure. I was going to take my son off for 2 months so wanted to close the account for that period and re-join in. He then stopped one remaining class for my son without letting us know before hand. My child is a special need child and was so so so so upset when we came there and everyone in his team was in the water while he was told his last lesson was stopped. It took him longer time than typical kids to understand the situation. I was trying to talk to the manger but he said to me coldly without giving me a glimpse , " stop talking, I am busy' and continued to sweep off the little tadpoles along the corner of the wall. I waited for 30 minutes or something. He would insist to charge me one more month as well. I eventually cancelled the payment from the bank side. I won't recommend this school to any one.

last week at aqua-tots Irving a young boy pushed my 3 and half year old daughter accidentally or intentionally we dont know for sure into the pool and she was under water drowning for nearly 10-15 seconds my wife ran around the designated viewing area and into the pool area and frantically got the attention of the instructor that was nearby to save our daughter ...this is was such a traumatizing experiencing for my daughter and entire family. the instructor was very nonchalant about the whole thing and quite frankly never apologetic to us, nobody from management team even reached out to us to check if our daughter was ok or offer any sort of apology for the obvious instructor negligence and horrible company policy of no parents allowed into the pool area...what if my wife was busy or in the bathroom, only God knows what nightmare could have happened. after the fact , nobody called us or reached out until two days later in response to a long email my wife wrote...there is one instructor and no lifeguards to watch over the children while the instructor is teaching 1 on 1 ....this is a huge problem and i will make sure that this does not happen again

This place is great for kids who must learn Swimming. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. My daughter started at the age of 3.5 years. She started with no knowledge in swimming. She is now swimming independently and part of the Aqua tots swim club. Thanks to all the teachers who helped in grooming her throughout.

My daughter goes to the Plano Tx location and it's a horrible place. Instructors seem to never know what is going on. They must have a high turnover rate of employees because it seems like they are always training. Communication from staff is also lacking. They also unexpectedly cancel classes at last minute.
We are paying $180 a month ... Not worth it!! Please go somewhere else.

Aqua Tots Coppell cheats its customers by re-scheduling paid private lessons with group lessons. They make it difficult to re-schedule a swimming lesson if your child gets sick. They are quite money oriented and will charge you a fee to re-schedule a lesson. They cancelled 3 days of lessons for pool maintenance and did not offer any make-ups or credit. Swimming Instructors are good. Management is unfortunately not so good.

The only reason I give it two stars is bc the instructors were great. Management will not answer questions, danced around till I just finally gave up. They charge you if you have to reschedule a class due to sick child...it's all about the money and not the experience for the kid when my daughter, who loves to swim, told me she was bored because she already knew this stuff (manager refused to start her in higher level than very bottom even after I showed a video of her Swimming in our pool) I pulled her out. Granted, you have to give a 30 day noticed....more than expected if you are quitting a job. We paid but didn't even show up for the last two lessons....couldn't bring myself to walk in there again.

The owners are money oriented, when my kid is sick i called them, they said their system is not allowing to change the makeup classes and they can't to anything. I will not go back to here.

This place has potential, but it's bogged down by being terribly disorganized. The instructors seem top notch, and while my daughter has learned here I don't think I'll be going back.
