I’m really frustrated with this school. They keep canceling classes at the last minute. This morning, an email (not a call or text) was sent at 8:45 a.m. to notify that the 10:30 a.m. class was canceled — I didn’t see it until 10:21 a.m., when we were already on our way. My daughter was so excited for her swim class, and this isn’t the first time this has happened. Her Level 2 class has been canceled more than six or seven times now.

Because of all the cancellations, we’ve accumulated several makeup classes that have to be used before the end of the year — and only while keeping an active membership.

On top of that, during her very first class, the pool heater was broken and no one informed us. My husband was in the water with her, and I noticed she was shivering. When I went to the front desk to ask, they admitted the heater wasn’t working. Parents should be notified ahead of time so they can decide whether to let their child swim or not.

It’s also nearly impossible to speak with a manager. You can only leave your phone number and are told someone will call you back — but no one ever does.

We love our son’s coach, Kamille. He had never done any lessons before and was very tearful the first few lessons with other coaches. When we did a class with coach Kamille, he responded best with her and so we booked with her for his lessons. Our son is making steady progress!

I previously wrote a review with a lower rating, but they did resolve the issue. The coaches are kind and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and water is warm. I definitely recommend them, but stay on top of your child's progress and speak up when needed.

The coaches and front desk staff are extremely helpful! I've chatted with the young girls that work up front and they were welcoming and knowledgeable about prices, classes, etc. However, management seems to be a bit different. I've had better experiences with the part time staff than the general manager.

This place has been excellent. From the moment we walk in through the door and till we leave. There is always a greet. We
have been attending for 7 months. My daughter has acquired skills that are necessary to move through the water proficiently. From day 1 till today. I see all the progress she has learned. I also have noticed the communication between all the instructors. Which is very important when there is more than 1 instructor. Being nice and polite with a very pleasant atmosphere really works well there. One of my daughter's instructors is Savannah. She has done an excellent job with my daughter. As well as the other instructors. Savannah has formed a great teacher to student teaching bond.

My daughter joined Aqua Tots in the summer fast track 2 week program. She absolutely loved it and wanted to continue with it. I'm so happy she knows how to swim now learning different techniques as well. Something i never learned to do because of MY fear of the water. Since Savanah has been her instructor my daughter is so much more comfortable and confident in the water. She's like a little fish. Highly recommend Aqua Tots. Of course All the Instructors are amazing at what they do. They are so friendly, patient and so easy to communicate with. I enjoy bringing my children to this consistent, year-round activity. The employees are great at customer service and teaching kids. Sometimes a new coach seems to take a class too slow, but they quickly learn the strengths of their class and teach accordingly. We could never name favorites, but we can say that Savannah, Sophia, and Camille do their jobs well.

I’ve been coming here for about 6 months with my daughter and the beginning was a struggle! Introducing a pool for a 4 month old was a task! Now at 10 months old, my daughter has learned so many water skills and enjoys her lessons every week! All of this was thanks to her AMAZING instructor Savannah. She has had so much patience and understanding when teaching my little one as well as patience with the parents as they learn to navigate teaching a baby in a pool. She is also so personable, that even I look forward to swim lessons! I truly hope Savannah gets all the raises. Because if anyone deserves it, its her!

I have been so pleased with Aqua-Tots over the years, as all three of my children have gone or still go there! Victoria is the person in charge and is soooo kind and genuine. If there is ever a problem, she gets it fixed asap. All you have to do is talk with her. I have never never been unhappy in all these years!! Victoria loves what she does and is great at her job! It helps that she is a people person!
I currently have an 8 year old that went there when she was around 4. We chose to go there after being told else where that some kids may never swim under water. They had her going under the water the first day. My 5.5 year old and 2 year old still attend swim lessons. Here is a brief summary:
My 5.5 year old has been going for over 2 years now. When he first started, he was super terrified and didn’t know how to swim at all. My concerns were addressed and I was put at ease. I was encouraged to never let him give up and never let his fear take over. He ended up loving to go to swim, and still does. He was given the option recently to quit swim after some medical things like eye surgery and a broken leg. He chose to keep attending once everything was healed. He progressed to level 5, and I’m sure will be at level 6 sooner than later! Recently, he cried because he couldn’t attend swim. My 2 year old started when months old. When we drive by A-Tots my son starts saying that he wants to swim. He is very comfortable in the water. We actually went today and he was giggling and having fun the entire lesson. He also happened to be scared and apprehensive when first starting. It seems like he had an easier time adjusting because we started so young. I read in a review once that it was loud in the pool. I am in the pool with my 2 year old for the parent and me class, and have never had an issue. I never would of considered that being brought up. With all this said, I would definitely recommend this swim school! I also like to do back to back lessons bc we drive 45-60mins just to go there. We love it and the people so much! Some of the staff/teachers we have had include: Victoria, Brandon, Damaris, Caitlin, Ana, and Bella. My kids do well with whomever they are with! However, you can always discuss placement with Victoria for suggestions, but I like my children having different teachers bc they all bring something special to the children they teach!

My son developed a fear of drowning, and we decided to get him lessons. I found a Groupon that allowed us to do a trial week. Once I was able to see how this place operated, I decided to continue his lessons. It isn't as expensive as I first thought. For one lesson a week, it is $90 a month. That isn't bad. My son hated doing the lessons at first and would get huge anxiety before each one. Then he had Roger as his teacher a few times, and he began loving the classes. Now my son gets upset if the classes get canceled, and he is always looking for his favorite teacher (Roger) when he goes in. I always ask my son what was the best part of his day, and now on the days he has swim lessons he will say, "I got to go to my swim lesson." I like that they do give you feedback after every lesson, and they are willing to work with you. Everyone has been very professional with me.

I've been taking my daughter here for a few months. The lessons are great the teachers are kind and personable. They have big glass windows and comfy chairs to sit in to watch your little ones swim. The building is clean, they have showers and changing rooms. Bathrooms are always clean as well. My only gripe is it seems like their AC is broken in the seating area so it can get pretty hot.

Great school! Our son came into his first classes crying and not too big of a fan of being in the water without his parents but the coaches and staff have successfully shown him how to SAFELY have fun in the water. In the 2 months that he’s been coming to the classes, he has learned so much and now looks forward to coming as much as possible! All coaches are superb. His favorite coach is Damaris. Great organization all around from the coaches and the friendly front desk staff to the management who keeps everything running smoothly and safely. Very impressed. Will be coming for a long time!

We have really bad experience today as my son’s 1st private class,he had appointment with coach Rubi at 9am,we arrived there at 8:45am to change the clothes for my son,there is no employee at all in the lobby,finally a girl show up at 8:59am to the front desk,5 mins later which is 9:04am I went to front desk ask is coach rubi here?we have a private class at 9am with her,the front desk lady answer me right way”oh,coach rubi has family emergency,she will running late a little bit”,looks like the front desk lady knew that already,but she didn’t say anything to us until I ask her where is coach rubi,I said” no problem at all,we could wait”,few mins later she show up,and she calls my son’s name & they went into the swim door at 9:07am,20mins later which is 9:27am,my husband & my son finished the class and get out the door,I ask him why the class is over so early,it supposed to be 30mins class,he said the coach looks so rush for some reason and she ask my husband what time is it (my husband has a watch on his arm),my husband said it’s 9:27am now,then the coach rubi said the class is OVER,what?I paid for $51 for one private class only last for 20mins?really?i thought my son is getting fussy in the water that’s y she stop class early,but my husband said,my son wasn’t fussy at all,he is so happy in the water,so……I really need their manager give me a explanation,front desk lady said the manager Roger won’t be there until Monday,so looks like I have to wait until next Monday

Coach Roger is the best coach my son has had. He’s so patient, he takes the time to connect with us, he’s great at teaching my son how to swim and also helps me with how I’m holding him and how to assist him. Staff is extremely friendly and my child loves the instructors. They give us nice feedback on the progression of my child. Staff is easy to work with when it comes to having to cancel or reschedule a class. The only thing I would improve is to find a way to increase heat in the changing room area. Yesterday was the first time my 2 year old had EVER been in a pool. We have had baby pools in the yard but nothing like this. I was so nervous that he wouldn’t like it or would panic. However when they called his name he walked up and met his instructor. He’s normally a bit of a “class clown” so as I watched him from the water splashing the water it was to be expected. But when it was his turn with the instructor he was at ease. Nothing is more comforting to a parent then to see someone other than them taking an interest in their child to better their life. I took pics and videos of my sweet boy in his first swim class and shared them on social media and told everyone who asked how great and comfortable I was with him attending and continuing to attend Aqua Tots. ♥️

We took our infant son here for two months before pulling him out because he just truly wasn't enjoying it. He has no problem at our family's pool, so we think it might just be a sensory overload for a child under 6 months (it gets very loud/echo-ey with screaming tots). With that said, Colin was one of our son's instructors! He is AWESOME! He was knowledgeable and would make accommodations to the curriculum for each child based on their individual skill level. I recommend him and this place for older kiddos in a heartbeat. As for the facility itself: the changing stalls are spacious, and the changing area appears to be cleaned in between classes. (Four stars because our son's original instructor didn't really seem to know what she was doing; understandably, experience will vary based on instructor.)

In just 6 classes (30mins each) my son has gained so much more confidence swimming, independent of his floaties! The coaches are very patient with their students and encourage them to keep trying. The staff here are kind and helpful. The coaches are patient and dedicated. My five year old spent the first 3 years of his life terrified of water. We did swim lessons at our neighborhood pool and another institution with no progress and no improvement. In 2 short months, aqua tots has made my son love swimming and he excels at it.
