My 10-year old is an aqua tot & she loves it!
She started in June at Level 3 and has worked her way to Level 5. Not only has she learned safety skills but also she is able to get in the water unattended. The staff is amazing from the front desk to ALL of the instructors. The instructors are very patient even when it’s multiple kids.

My daughter Hadleigh LOVES to go to swim lessons. Each week she is ready to go and learns so much! She has progressed so much from our first class and has gotten comfortable in the water. The instructors are great with the kids and very patient with the little ones! Great place to take your kid to learn to swim!

We love aqua-tots! Not only has my child learned how to swim but also learned safety and has gained confidence in and out of the pool! The facility is always clean and staff always nice and attentive! Although recently over the summer this location has been extremely hot and has continued to be. Hope fully it gets fixed soon!

We witnessed a toddler nearly drown due to the instructor’s lack of awareness and experience. He was literally 1 second or two from drowning. The poor mother started screaming and ran from the other side of the glass to the pool area and retrieved her son herself. It was very close to a tragedy and traumatic to say the least. After the session, the instructor tried to blame management for the incident, and made excuses. It was sickening to hear the words coming out of her mouth. We stopped going that very day. Your kids won’t learn much of anything here, if they don’t drown. Go to Fins. Much more professional and they have a better teaching system. This place in Humble is not a good place to go.

Clean. Attentive. From the front staff to the back.
My family is very thankful for Omar. I was going to write a long paragraph on how he is patient, kind, and firm with my special needs daughter. Such a proud day for my family when she was able to level up thanks to him and the other coaches. I regrettably did not think my girl was ready to level up due to her lack of receptive language. But Omar insisted she was ready.. long story short she had a great 1st class. It was a great day and accomplishment for my daughter.

They charge a re registration fee , they charge way too much money for what they provide . It’s nonsense and I do not recommend !!!!!

This place is clean, safe, and professional! My two kids love their classes. They’ve had many of the different teachers and always leave happy regardless of who they have when moving levels. We’ve had to switch schedules and they are extremely accommodating. So happy we found this place!

My son looks forward to going to the class. Although I do think the class is too pricey and at level 3, It did seem like discipline was a major problem with a number of kids. But at level 4, kids know how to listen and follow directions. This round of courses should be enjoyable and productive.

I enjoyed having my daughter enrolled all the way in level two she learned a a lot! The instructor advised us that she was ready for level three when she was 23 months old. She graduated to level 3 on August 9 and the instructor in the picture (I forgot her name) was always sweet during level two. Sadly she wasn’t sweet in level three. During the last class we attended while giving feedback she said “that my daughter crying was boring and that she needed to control it that it wasn’t a problem for her to be in level 3 but she needed to control the crying” after this I never went back. It was rude and unprofessional. It annoyed me because I knew my daughter cried since she would go alone into the pool. So I had called a couple days before to move her back to level 2 and that day we were supposed to have a level 2 class but the instructor decided to teach level 3 since both of the kids were 2 years old and she said we could go ahead and change but I decided to stay in the pool since I knew Grace was going to cry. Needless to say I canceled the classes. We were enrolled for almost 9 months even thought the experience was great at the beginning it was disappointing in the end. The instructors needs to have empathy and think before speaking, and that 2 years old are still learning and they can’t control their crying!!!! I wished I could’ve told her something when I was there but I don’t like confronting people but I decided to write this reviews, it really bothered me the way she handled the situation. Another thing that bothered me was that in level two we would sing a song that says “splashing” and when my daughter was splashing during the lesson (in level 3) the instructor told her with a plain face “no splashing” why teach the kids something when later on their going to get told not to,
that’s confusing for the development! She would get annoyed when Grace would do it ☹️ I noticed because I was recording her to show her dad and in the video you can see her telling her not to do it.

I love it. The staff is very friendly and provide improvement tips after each lesson. My daughter loves it, she started this summer very nervous and scared, didn't want the water touching her face and definitely didn't want to go under water; now she's jumping and pools and ready to compete with me to see who can hold their breath the longest. I recommend aqua-tots to all of my family and friends.

I am extremely happy with our experience at Aqua-Tots in Humble. All of the teachers are great, and my boys love going to swim class. Even though they are only 1 and 2, they have become very comfortable in the water. The teachers are energetic and invested in each child. They are always looking to push the boys to get to the next level instead of being complacent with where they are. Even though we have been going to swim class for a long while now, they are still picking up new skills and have not plateaued. The makeup policy for missed lessons is also extremely flexible, which has been great for us.

EDITED: changed to 5 stars. Owner reached out and addressed the issue.

My rating would probably be 3 1/2 stars if we could give half a star because the staff and instructors here are very friendly and welcoming! We are also very impressed with how they take the extra steps to contact us (via phone, voicemail and even text!) if something arises and swim lessons are canceled. I’ve been taking my nephew, Eli, here since he was a few days shy of 4 months. He’s 6 months now and we’ve been seeing big improvements with him in the water. He’s currently enrolled in the tadpole level (4-12 months old) so I have to swim with him. We are really impressed with our instructor Jennie! She’s the best!! She really connects with the kiddos. Today, we had a different instructor for his lesson, which is totally fine. We’ve had him before and that time was ok too. However, today I wasn’t impressed. We were running about 2-3 mins late for lesson (life with a baby ;)) which is fine (so I thought) because swim class is usually 30 mins long and we still had about 25 mins left. Upon entering the water, the instructor asked me a question along the lines of “how much time?”. He could’ve worded it a lot better in my opinion. He wanted to know if Eli had taken lessons before or whether he was new. I thought he was asking how much time we had left for class since we were a tad late which struck odd to me cause there’s a clock hanging up in the room. Fast forward to swim class, he rushed through everything! With Jennie, we usually run through each task about 2-3 times before moving on. Today, it was hit and miss. We really only ran through the task once and moved on. I think there were one or two tasks that we repeated. He had us “fall back” in lessons. With Jennie, we worked up to dunking/submerging Eli in the water and he’s gotten to the point where he’s comfortable. During lessons, he told me to just wet his chin and to not submerge underwater. I felt like we were back to day 1 when he was first starting. Even if there were new students in the class (which there was not), Jeannie would have had Eli complete the same task as everyone else but with submersion while newer students would ease their way up. I was able to sneak in a dunk here and there during his lesson today though. Then, he wanted the babies to reach for the wall with parents assisting so they can learn to crawl/pull themselves out of the water. He didn’t give them a toy to catch their attention to grab for the wall so Eli was not interested (he must’ve forgotten he was teaching babies that can barely sit yet alone crawl and have very, very short attention span). I had to ask for a swim toy and then Eli was able to complete the task. During another task, the instructor asked us to not support the baby as much to let them balance on the mat on their own (uhhh no, that would be fine if he was a little older, but right now he is just learning to sit up on his own). We finished swim lesson and it didn’t last 30 mins. Eli’s lesson was 15 mins today compared to the 25 mins I was expecting (taking into account we were a few mins late). It took me longer to drive him to lesson than the time we spent in the water. I don’t think I would’ve mind if we finished early if we ran through each task thoroughly as expected instead of being rushed from one task to the next. Speaking with the other mom in the class, I wasn’t the only one frustrated and slightly annoyed with today’s lesson.

First and foremost, they offered a free trial to see if I even liked the place. Everything was clean, especially the changing area for the kids. I even saw a lady moping up the water when the kids left the changing rooms to make sure no one slipped. They offer basic necessities like lotion, detangling spray etc for the kids. The instructor was very nice and personable. My son had a blast. Last but not least, there is more than enough space for everyone to see their kids through the glass window. I definitely signed up for classes no problem after the trial class.

If I could give zero stars I would. It was one thing when the new Humble location did not open in mid February as planned.
I stopped mentioning the place to my son and waited patiently for them to open. 2 months later I received a call to schedule his first class. It was cancelled and reschedule a week before the first scheduled date.
The next time it got cancelled the day before the next scheduled appointment.
The third and final time it got cancelled at 1:30pm THE DAY OF the class. That's 2 1/2 hrs before the class. By then my son was begging every half hour since waking up that morning to go to "pool school". His most favorite thing is the pool.
I told the lady how terribly disappointed my son would be and how unprofessional the whole ordeal was. They are letting down CHILDREN not just adults.
The lady gave a very unapologetic apology. I've asked before if there would be anything sort of discount or special deal for my son since he suffered so much disappointment and the answer was no.
I think it's sad that this place will end up being successful despite their lack of heart because not everyone will have the experience we had. I think the owner deserves nothing so tats what they will get from me. I just hope that all the people involved in the continual failure of the Humble location get a good dose of their own medicine.
It's possible that my son's appointment got cancelled 4 times. I want keeping an exact count because I try not to focus on things that upset me.
