It has been about 2 months since my daughter started at this location and each and every instructor we’ve had has been wonderful. They are patient and actually give tips on how to help my daughter get better. Classes are almost like one-on-one. I must say today was one of our best days. Also, they are very flexible and understanding in regards to missing class and attending a makeup class. I’m excited to see my daughter get learn, and advance in learning a life saving skill.

Coach Kaden is pretty awesome! Thank you Coach Kaden and Coach Sarah Adaora moved up to level 3.

Recent update, Lately I am unsure but since change on management I have been having significant issues with both scheduling and miscommunication. Honestly not the same standard as few years ago. More kids working and not understanding customers needs. Do better

This place is ok. Sometimes my kid gets to go to “group” classes and there’s only one other kid which is awesome. But also, sometimes he goes and he’s alone and the coach still doesn’t even have him swimming the whole time. For the last 5-6 minutes, my son was just sitting on the side waiting for the coach to give him his attention again. I watched and the coach was just looking around and not practicing or playing with him at all, like he was waiting for the timer to count down and be done. Over all they do a good job, but for the price I think you could get better instruction elsewhere.

From start to finish the entire team was extremely helpful and accommodating. They answered all of my many questions on the registration portion and helped me schedule a trial class. The coach was incredible as well during that first free session, AND then subsequently the finalization of our sign up process was smooth as butter. I am excited to attend more classes to help my toddler swim safely in a fun environment.

I usually don’t write reviews but don’t send your kids to aquatots. They have cancelled classes 4 times on me in a short amount of time. Either staff didn’t show or pool equipment was broken, which is all understandable. I asked them to stop our membership as we have 4 make up classes and summer is upon us. Their response is as follow:

Good afternoon, I am so sorry about the late response on our part, unfortunately you guys do have to be enrolled for at least on day per week of swimming to be able to use those makeup lessons.

So we have to continue paying to receive the service we already paid for and was canceled by them.
I will take my losses and don’t want any compensation, but want every family to be aware of how they treat their customers.

Rest assured we won’t be back to finish our current month.

- Classes are for 30 mins but the tutor (high school kids) will do time pass for 15 mins and spend 15 mins with kids. They don't have any intention of teaching swimming to kids, keep dragging so that you can keep giving them money for same level for months
- They give some free goodies but unfairly. If you don't know or don't ask, they will not give you anything
- Dirty changing rooms
- Water doesn't look clean

We had an incredibly frustrating experience with Aqua Tots swim school. Despite paying for their services, I found that there were consistently no trainers available during my kid swim class. It's unacceptable to pay for a service and not receive the support you expect. My son started with Aqua tots last week and I wasn't really impressed with what I saw but decided to give it a try. My son is only 3 but advanced in swimming because we went to Costa Rica for 7 months where he learned the technique: float-swim-float within 3 months. My son only understands Spanish and he is speech delayed, ( I informed staff about this). With that being said it is harder for him to follow instructions if we have an English speaking instructor. ( like we did). So today 3/14 at our 6:15pm class my son was splashing all over, ( acting his age) and Sara ( manager on duty) just came out of the blue and raised her voice and treat my son in a very disrespectful way. I was in shock and thought....If she treats kids this way in front of parents...I can't imagine how she will treat kids if parents are not around. She shouldn't be there if she cant understand a 3 year old normal behavior. Only reason I didn't walk in and said something to her is because I have respect for women. My wife and I decided to just leave after the class and we aren't coming back ever.

We love our experiences with Aqua Tots coaches and staffs. Coach Sarah is always happy showing her bubbly personality with the children and parents. My children love their coach Sarah, Brittany and Graham. We fully enjoy our lessons and wish we didn't have to worry about the abundant make up lessons from the summer due to lack of coaches and sickness. Coach Sarah, Brittany and Graham were the shining stars for my children during those lacking days. Hopefully we will continue to have more classes available so we can utilize our make up classes. We appreciate to have Ms. Sophia, the front desk as well!!! So far great experience! The coaches provide an update on our child’s progress at the end of every class and answer any questions we have for how to practice.

Update: 9/19: I have to give kudos to the front desk staff amongst others. They always make sure they are able to get to each and every parent and take time to resolve issues and work through scheduling. Dionna (I think that is her name) always has a smile on her face and goes the extra mile. If you are visiting Aquatots, please give them some grace; like most businesses, GOOD labor is tough to come by these days, but the young folks that work here do a great job holding everything together as best as they can.

Regarding the coaches: My daughter LOVES Coach Sara, who I believe is also one of the main trainers. We are also a fan of Coaches Kaden and Grace.

So my experiance with them has been pretty bad lately.. considering that I have been with them for about 8 months now. This summer they seem to have taken in too many students in. The staff is not upto the task. The quality of training is also not up to par with the other locations.And the site itself is always flooded. I have seen atleast 2 adults fall in front of the flooded pool exit doors.Its a miracle how no one has already sued them. They also tend to cancel too many classes and you can only schedule make up classes 1 week in advance if there is availability. Which leaves parents in a fix coz they can't get thier makeups done.

It would be good to see some sort of sanity being restored to this location.

Worst place we have ever came. Our first time here and two instructors never taught anything. Even just two toddlers in the class. Those two instructors just chat all the time. When I asked for help on something they can do to help kids feel comfortable in water. They said nah.. that is him, you can’t do anything. Also they told us even kids cried or struggle, let them be. Overall THIS LOCATION is H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E.!!!. The turnover rate is 99.9% it's ridiculous my child has been going to this particular location for almost a year now and has had so many teachers..... my child has NOT been able to learn how to swim properly DUE TO THE RIDICULOUS TURNOVER RATE !!!!!! .

Two of my grandson’s have been coming to Aqua Tots for many years and we have always enjoyed our time there. The pool is warm and perfect for toddlers and the programs are age appropriate. The process of teaching babies/toddlers is very slow but as long as kids are enjoying them selves and are not afraid of the water they will learn if they have consistent exposure in a familiar place and Aqua Tots is a perfect place for that to happen.

Since moving to the Frisco location, our experience with AquaTots has improve immensely. The staff at the Frisco location is much more professional and much more compliant to the rules. The classes are more organized, they actually have a deck hand to assist with unruly kids, and they have more room for accommodating a change in classes or make up classes. This location is less crowded than the prior location where we were and it is much cleaner. Overall, we are much happier at this location. Coach Maddie is absolutely amazing with my child and she really challenges the kids to improve upon their current skills and advance to new skills.

Really bad customer experience. We scheduled an evaluation/trial for my kids. We arrived 10 minutes early, signed waiver on time and waited for them to call.

They called one my kid for evaluation and after waiting for one hour we were told that our turn is over for the second kid and they started telling us we are not scheduled - we showed them the appointment, then they told us a process only a existing customer would know.

I requested for a supervisor or a manager, I was told that they don't give managers name or email or any means to speak with person responsible for the place.

After requesting several times, the front desk wrote names of their managers - Nicole and Cittlay. I was told they don't even have email address they could give me.

How is this place run without customer able to contact a manager or supervisor for feedback.

If this is how they treat a new customer, imagine what it would be if you really needed to contact someone for an issue.

Horrible experience. And would not recommend this place.

Overall the place did not feel like they care or is run professionally.

Really poor first impression. Very unprofessional! I can’t review the actual lesson since it has not occurred. My daughter couldn’t stop talking about her complimentary swimming lesson for two weeks. The morning of her lesson, just hours before, Aqua-Tots calls to cancel my daughters swimming lesson to make room for another child who’s parents are paying customers. I understand that established clients should get priority but hours prior to the lesson? Do they even want me to become a paying customer because they sure aren’t acting like it??? I hope in the future they understand that they aren’t just dealing with paying parents but children who don’t understand. Needless to say my daughter is very disappointed. I will be doing business with their competitors now as a business with such lousy practices will not be getting a cent from me. I recommend doing business elsewhere to those reading this review.

Our kids went to the accelerated class at this location. They did an amazing job and the staff was really nice. I highly recommend this location.

I am thoroughly disgusted with my experience at this swim school. All I tried to do was secure a private lesson for my grandchild- they do offer them- first I was told the teacher may not want to put in the time, but I would get a call back. No call back. Then I went to the front desk and asked again about a private lesson- was told the GM thought it would be an inconvenience for the teacher I asked for. Frustrated I decided to forget the private lessons, but the more I thought about it the more I felt like they didn't need me or my business. I said several times loud enough for the manager who was in the next room to hear me- "you obviously don't need my business- I will not be coming back". I said it 2-3 times thinking someone would offer to talk to me- I walked after I realized they could care less whether I was there or not. Matilda was my granddaughters instructor. She was great. Brandon is behind the desk. Nice young man but not experienced enough to know when a customer is upset- it is time to do damage control. I walked out and will not go back. I also am wondering WHY my granddaughter was NOT recognized when she graduated from 3rd level to 4th level as we witnessed countless others in the few months we were there. This last session my granddaughter walked over to the pictures on the wall and wondered why hers wasn't there honoring her accomplishment- what could I say? I have already found another swim school- they seem to want my business.

I have hesitated writing this review but after hearing about the experiences of other parents (who also have not reviewed) I feel it is my duty to do so.

We had a terrible experience at this location. My 2 1/2 yr old daughter was paired with a teenager for her first day of swim lessons. (I'm not knocking the teen, I was a lifeguard as a teen, so I am sure she was some level of responsible)

The instructor kept her face no more than 6 inches from my child's face. So much so that she kept backing up to get her out of her face.

The instructor basically just read from a card the entire time and asked others what to do. If I were guessing, I would guess this was maybe her first day ever doing this. Paying $22 for 30 minute sessions, the hope is that you get someone who has maybe done this before.

This instructor had no clue how to handle a toddler (and this was a one on one session, by the way) and even grabbed her by the OUTSIDE of her arms and dunked her under. This completely shocked my daughter and she looked incredibly uncomfortable. I would have been too had someone done the same to me.

Needless to say, watching all of this was hard to do. I let the session continue just to see how it would all play out. I was deeply dissatisfied.

After the session, we left. My daughter told me, as we pulled in the driveway, "Mom. I don't like swim lessons".

I am not interested in my child having a negative relationship with water/pools. I am not willing to risk the inexperienced instructors at Aqua Tots interfering with a lifetime love of being around the water and being safe in doing so.

After hearing of not one, but TWO stories of friends who have kids that ALMOST DROWNED at an Aqua Tots in just the last few weeks, I am so incredibly thankful our experience wasn't tragic and that I didn't give them a second chance.

They get one star for giving me back the rest of what I pre-paid for the month.

I hope, if you are considering Aqua Tots, that you reconsider. It is not worth your child hating the water or something worse.

Edit: Regarding the manager's public response below. She has my account and my phone number as she just called me and left a message. Is this is a dog and pony show to somehow discredit my review? Interesting.

I love the ease of rescheduling a class if need be. Most importantly, we love our instructor, Matilda Bradley. She is great working with kids. Pushing them to improve, yet being gentle about it.
We did not have much consistency with instructor’s in the beginning which I did not care for. Since we’ve had Matilda it’s been great. She has built up trust with our son and he loves to see her each week.

I am unsatisfied with the center, reasons are
1. Small pool and highly crowded.
2. If ur kid is heighted dont plan to join. They let kid go only one third of lane, so your heighted will reach that length in one or max two stroke. no ample opportunity for them to try n learn.
3.Teachers keep changing so its difficult to keep kid on track.
4. Some teacher waste time in talking or just fixing kids glasses. I mean in 30min if u spend time anything other than swimming how kid will learn?

One benefit is they give you make up classes.

After a very shaky start. Hannah and the team at Aqua-Tots made it right! Our kiddo had a great time with his new swim instructor and he left smiling and happy! They really took the time to reach out to us, and made sure we were taken care of ! He is excited for class next week :)

We love his AquaTots! Great staff all around.

We transferred to this Location after four years at an AquaTots in MN that we more than loved. The instructors definitely had big shoes to fill. Mission accomplished!

I'm so happy to have people who work hard to create a positive learning environment for the children in this community.

I had a bad experience and never thought of this when i registered here. Everytime instructor get change and again its new beginning with new coach. In 3 months more then 3-4 times the instructor get change and same feedback with no progress; even though I've mentioned while enrolling that my kids are already attended swimming lessons with aqua tots in Phoenix and other swim center but no use... Anyway lesson learnt here and no-more aqua tots...

I love Aqua-tots of Frisco. My son has been going here since he was a baby starting in level 1 and he's in 4 now. He's had the same coach, Amanda and loves her. She's is a great instructor and the office staff is amazing!! Great make-up policy too!!!

I called several places before getting aqua tots. While the other places weren't rude, they just weren't extremely helpful. I felt extremely confident on the phone talking to Megan as she walked me through everything and wasn't in a hurry to get me off the phone. She was excellent and someone I can see in a leadership role simply because of her care of the customer. Then of course when I got to the location Megan was there and so was the rest of the team whose customer service was identical to Megan's. I only paid 200 dollars a for swim lessons because of Megan and the team that assisted us while ther.
