My daughter is very excited to go to class. She’s a bundle of energy while there, so she has trouble staying still and focused when it’s not her turn to work on a skill. Even still, the instructor and staff at the school have been very patient and willing to work with her.

Brooklyn is so great! I love how she interacts with each kid in the class. She also tells the parents that if they're comfortable moving to the next step with their kid, then try it. I like that she leaves it up to you in the younger ages. My kids are always so comfortable when she teaches.

We've been taking our daughter to Aqua-Tots for the past year and a half, and the progress has been amazing. She went from being hesitant in the water to genuinely enjoying the pool.

Coach Lex has been a huge part of that journey—she’s patient, kind, and incredibly personable. She makes each lesson fun while building confidence and skills.

The weekly lessons have been well worth it, and we’re grateful for the great instruction and supportive environment.

We loving coming to Aqua-Tots! Coach Abby is amazing! She is kind and helpful when explaining how to do the exercises and will help demonstrate if needed. Our son loves her and always is excited for swim class. The staff in general is very kind and helpful and I like that we can skip lessons and do makeups if needed. I recommend Aqua-Tots to everyone who is looking to get their kid into swim lessons.

Update:
We are still members here and we are still loving it! We have seen such growth and we are happy with the progress.
The entire staff is great! You are greeted by the front desk staff with a smile and they know your child's first name.
I have to give a huge shout-out to Coach Alyssa and Coach Peyton. They are absolutely phenomenal!

What a spectacular state of the art swimming facility! The moment you walk in you are greeted and taken care of. They have big clean changing rooms and restrooms. The instructors are knowledgeable and we were fortunate to have the master instructor for our first class. Competitive prices and certainly worth it when the facility is brand new!

Highly recommend this place! We’ve been bringing our daughter who’s now 3 since she was 12-15 months. Great instructors! I wish they were a little cheaper in price but I know they have to spend so much on training good staff. They are compassionate and caring about the kids! When your kiddo transitions to the level 3 and you as the parent don’t get in the pool with them anymore, be aware they will cry a lot being separated from you. That’s perfectly normal! They’ll stop crying but it’s hard at first. Took our daughter about 3 lessons to stop crying. It’ll be OK!! :) Huge shout out to Coaches Abby and Cassie!!! They are amazing!

I was here with my son, just waited for 90 minutes to call our names. We reached out to front desk couple of times where we should be waiting as there are 3 different doors, they’re just like they’ll call you. It was really disappointing just to wait for 90 minutes and hear like we’ll reschedule. Worst management, my kid was disappointed a lot. Will never be to this place again. They’re not even apologizing, they just say it’s communication issue on their end and we’re just suffering for it.
Worst service for the trial class, wondering how bad it would be if I join these folks.
Not this location anymore.

Update: manager did reach out and provided another time. Manager is so good and helpful.

Hidden fees - if you don’t use your make up classes during the time frame you signed up for, you will be asked to pay $50 for a month to have access to the facility in order to use your make up lessons. If this happens to be in January, you will be asked to pay additional $50 for an annual membership fee. Their make up classes do not expire. However, nobody will tell you that if you want to use them after the months you signed up for, you have to pay to use them. I couldn’t believe this when they told me that I have to pay $100 for January to use my 9 make up lessons. I took them all in December and avoided $100 fee. I am not coming back bc this is not an honest way to do business. This policy by the management should have been communicated as loudly as their policy of never expiring make up classes. The facility is small and lockers and showers are inconvenient. The water doesn’t feel as clean as most public pools. The best part of my 4 month experience in this facility were the coaches. They are all very good and teach well all ages. I did classes with my 2 year old and after 4 months he improved a bit. The tot program is focused on submerging. Kicking, blowing bubbles and hand movements are not part of their curriculum for this age group.

Two major things. You can not cancel online. You have to call and hope that their teenage employees do it right to stop the charges. If you miss lessons you have to pay them to get make up lessons. You will spend more money than you think here.
Second, most of the staff are teenagers. Including the instructors. I really don't want to trust a 14, 15 or 16 year old with my kid's life.

Positives- flexibility, cleanliness and kindness among everyone there. I like the app and how easy it is to schedule/reschedule. Our daughter is definitely becoming a better swimmer! Cost is reasonable and the coaches are all very sweet.

Negative- I wish the coach's would slow down and let the babies actually practice kicking, back floats, etc. I understand they have a ton of things they want to get through but 9 times out of 10 we are out of the water and in changing room at 9:55. Its super frustrating because it's a lot of work for mom & tot to get changed. Suggestion- at the end of class, have coach look at their ipad time. If it's not 9:58 yet, tell the parents they can practice one more skill of their choice before they need to leave. That still gives 2 minutes for the coach to get out of the water and call the next class. I can tell you I've heard several other parents frustrated about this. We may decide to leave if it doesn't change soon.

Signed up for a free trial class, a lady called and scheduled it for my 3 year old. I left two hours early from work to try aqua tots out. When we arrived they said he wasn't scheduled and offered no solutions. We will not be back and you have lost my business. If this class went well I was considering signing up both my kiddos. Don't give free trials if you can't follow up! I will go elsewhere. Thanks for nothing.

This is not fair

I'm writing to express my concern about the swim lesson duration at Aqua-Tots. While the website states lessons last 30 minutes, my experience has been different. In today's class, for example, the lesson began at 6:03 PM (3 minutes late) and ended at 6:25 PM (5 minutes early), resulting in a total lesson time of only 22 minutes. This has happened on several occasions.

I understand the focus and attention span of young children, but the inconsistency between the advertised lesson duration and the actual experience is frustrating. It's especially inconvenient considering the time it takes to get to and from the lessons.

If the actual lesson time is typically shorter than 30 minutes, I would appreciate it if the website and scheduling information were updated to reflect that. This would allow parents to make informed decisions about enrollment.

My experience with this swim school was TERRIBLE. The instructors seemed inexperienced, which affected the quality of the lessons. Additionally, when I attempted to cancel my membership, I was informed of a 30-day cancellation policy, which required me to continue paying for services I no longer wished to use. I would advise others to avoid this swim school.

I want to make it clear that this event has nothing to do with your services. Last Sunday morning, September 6, a lady was driving the mini-cooper that appears in one of your promotional photos, this lady was driving in a very inconsiderate manner and was literally extremely close to me and speeding. I hope this person changes the way she drives, especially when she is driving a company car. It's not a good promotion for you. In my case, I would never use your services just because that lady!

They have a good system to track progress as well as testing.

I'd give zero stars if I could. We experienced a huge safety issue our first lesson here where my child slipped underwater and no one was watching. I had to run into the pool area to get his instructor's attention, who had her back turned and did not notice he had slipped under and was struggling to get out again. Don't go here. They do not deserve a single star, do not send your children with these people, disorganized, facilities are not cleaned properly, my son had eye irritation the first time and I let it go, but already the second time I can not tolerate it, However, worst part was the treatment that the instructor Nataly had, a person who obviously does not have the patience or knows how to teach 3-year-old children, my son does not want to go back to the pool after being in other aquatots and having good progress also not to be afraid of swimming, I will take the time to warn and recommend to other parents by all means not to leave their children with these inexperienced people and lack of child pedagogy.

And it's still not fixed so I'll have to talk to their managers again.

Me and my husband talked about putting our 3 yr old son in swim classes to help him learn how to swim. We weren’t exactly sure where we wanted to take him so we started looking into places we could take him. I noticed a advertisement on Facebook for first free swim lesson at Aqua Tots so we called and scheduled his first lesson. Ms.Evelyn was the coach to evaluate our sons first swim lesson and he absolutely loved it. Aqua Tots made our first visit feel amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our son was hesitant at first about the swim lesson but Ms. Evelyn made him feel so comfortable and safe and she let him know he could trust her. Our son loves Ms. Evelyn she is a wonderful coach. We have started taking our son to swim classes in February and have continued to enroll him every month because our son loves it and so do we. Aqua Tots made this mama feel comfortable to trust the wonderful coaches with my sons life to help teach him the proper water safety and precautions he needs to know if anything ever happens. I highly recommend Aqua Tots if other parents are looking for a place to take their kids for swim lessons. Keep up the good work Aqua Tots, you guys are doing great. It was time our 3 year old began swimming lessons given he was going to spend more time at the water park this summer; and, safety is pretty important between kids and water :) So, we chose Aqua Tots due to our lack of satisfaction with our local city swimming lesson arrangement at the local pull, last year.

He was pretty terrified during the first lesson at Aqua Tots; it was clear it was caused more by separation anxiety than the water. Since the first lesson, he has enjoyed the water (and, lessons). We've recently switched to one teacher vs spreading his lessons across two teachers. We believe building a relationship with one teacher would increase his desire level to go to swimming lessons and listen to the teacher.

So, all in all, great experience thus far. All the kids here seem to enjoy their time.

My kiddo HATED his private swim lessons at our neighborhood pool so much that he was practically traumatized, and refused to swim all of last year... had no real interest in going swimming all last summer.

Although this particular location is severely run down from top to bottom (complete with the moldy smell you absolutely cannot wash out of the swim suit, no matter what detergent you use... seriously.. no mater WHAT detergent you use), my kiddo loves going for swim lessons here that he asks to go back each day.

We've not had even one negative experience, even though were visited with pretty much every instructor/coach here. (Sometimes just changing coachescan be traumatic for your kiddo, but so far they have each been wonderful).

In spite of being in the literally most run down, sketchy-looking shopping center in all of Round Rock, and in spite of the facility itself being completely run down, the staff and fun make up for it ten-fold. All that matters is that my kiddo WANTS to go, and therefore WILL eventually learn to swim.

The rolling enrollment is a HUGE plus.... unlike Emler, which forces you into sessions that have hard start dates and hard end dates. Start any date you're ready, and end any date you want.

I highly recommend Aqua Tots!

I have been with Aqua-tots for over 3 years now. We have loved every moment up until now. In December they had some managerial changes and ever since then I feel like Aqua-Tots has not been the friendly or caring environment it used to be. Due to this managerial changes they have also lost a lot of their great coaches and have been forced to hire new coaches. Never had I worried about my children's safety in the water until now. I feel like the new coaches are not friendly or carrying. Nor do I feel that the coaches care about a childs well-being. When addressed with the GM from San Antonio who is covering the store she said that she would have the owner contact me and we would work things out. That was 3 weeks ago and I have yet to hear anything. I am disappointed in how Aqua-Tots is handling these situations. I know I am not the only dissatisfied customer who has been there a long time.

Kid gets a free lollipop! This place is a joke. The instructors are trained to tell how good and. Atrial swimmer your kid is.. rather than focusing on actual swim skills and making the swimming lanes longer..

Tight & busy spot; great place for kids to learn how to swim without fear. Our favorite swim instructor is Dave: he actually takes the time to look each kid in the eye & make sure each kid does the skill correctly to their ability despite the 30 minute time constraint. My kid is reserved and he doesn't get overlooked which I very much appreciate. Waiting area & changing rooms are tight and both make me crave a Lysol wipe down.

Patient staff, Child A is showing progress 30 minute classes seem a little short but probably right for kiddies attention span.

Just completed an 8 session, 2 week intensive with our 22 month old. Everything was great and the staff was wonderful. Each session moved quickly and kept us busy having fun and working on the fundamentals. Our primary instructor was great and able to work with us even when the little guy was having an off day. When she saw that he wasn't responding to one method of teaching, she instantly suggested alternate methods and was patient and flexible. As an additional bonus, our little guy now can go underwater and as a result enjoys bath time much more. Shampooing his hair and rinsing his head is no longer torture for anyone!

Have been bringing our 5 month old here for a month so far and she has been loving it. The staff has been great about helping us make up the couple classes we have had to miss. The only thing stopping 5 stars is the inconsistent instructors. I don't think we have had the same instructor twice in a row yet. They have all been good but it would be nice to have the same person so there is more continuity in the classes.

We have been swimming here for 4 years and we love the experience. Out older daughter is learning great life skills and our baby girl is having a great time swimming with Mommy and learning to be comfortable in the water. Can't say enough great things about the instructors here. Everyone cards so much for the kids and works with them to make sure they are comfortable while learning.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We love everyone at Aqua Tots, and while it was never our plan, we put their teachings to the ultimate test.

My daughter started swim lessons there at about 10 months old and she's just about to turn 2. She looks forward to our Monday afternoons at the pool and seeing all the smiling faces when we walk in. They recognize here and call her by name which is a big plus in this moms book.

I started her at Aqua Tots because I was not confident in my own abilities in the water, let alone being responsible for the safety of my child. I wanted to put my own water fears aside and teach my daughter how to have fun in the water, not to be afraid, all while still being safe.

She was resistant the first few classes and was clingy and fussy, but I told myself we would give it a month. By her third class she was starting to enjoy herself and was less timid. That did it for me. After a couple of months I was 100% sure this was the right choice, my daughter was laughing and having fun (it also made a big impact on bath time, no more fussing, she runs for the tub now) and was really showing that she was learning things.

Her lessons we paying off and I was having a good time in the pool too. Her coaches kept it fun, and while each weeks activities are pretty much the same, they make changes and challenges when needed. My daughter is becoming a little waterbug right before my eyes.

Well we put those lessons to the test a couple of weeks ago on vacation. My daughter was walking with her grandfather along the pool to the stairs and as excited children can be she slipped out of his grasp and right over the pool edge. Let me tell you, if you have ever watched a kid fall into the pool your heart sinks, but when it's your kid, you can't breath and your heart stops altogether. I was on the other side of the pool and by the time I had jumped in and was half way over to her, my LAUGHING daughter had surfaced, grabbed the wall and was halfway out of the pool. Just like we do in swim class. I stopped and watched in the middle of the pool. The 10 or so other pool patrons sat in silence for a minute then broke into applause. Which made my daughter so happy she promptly turned and jumped into the pool again (this time it was to me). I got a lot of questions about those events and all I could do was tell them it was all Aqua Tots!

Thank you to all her awesome coaches, who knows what could have happened, but I am forever grateful for that it was a positive experience on both our parts!

My daughter was scared of water ever since I can remember. Just giving her a bath would be an ordeal as she use to struggle and cry so much. Hence I knew introducing her to a regular city or community pool would be a bad idea. Aqua Tots proved to be an excellent choice. Her instructors not only helped her overcome her fear of water but have also developed a love for the sport. Now my daughter who was anxious of going in the water is anxious to be there on time.
I particularly appreciate how the teachers take the time to assess each child’s personality and skills so that they may adjust the class exercises accordingly. I was vary about how much my child would learn in a group of 4 but the staff sure knows how to help the kids progress. Their make up policy is also very flexible. I have had to schedule make ups a number of time and have always been accomodated very easily. Overall my daughter and I are very happy with Aqua Tots.

Employee turnover rate is high. Instructor not consistent. Felt like I overplayed the past two years and my son did the same thing over and over. Wasn't a big fan when he would sit in the pool for a while so instructors can talk to other instructors.

WATCH OUT if you want to cancel. They will make it the hardest thing you ever did in your life. They rescheduled my daughter's swim class on me, there was no other time she was out of daycare (she's a baby) except that time. Well, when I needed to cancel because of it, they billed me for the new month and said they weren't sure if I could get refunded. After I ran a credit card dispute on this (because I never used the service - I hadn't even been there half of August!) they called, left a message, apologized, and said they were refunding. Not only did they never refund that amount but they've also BILLED me EVERY SINGLE MONTH (I canceled in August and it's November and I just got billed again the $87 monthly charge!) Looks like they are a running a credit card scam if you ask me. Going to have to close the credit card they keep billing. Also, NEVER go here if you can help it, I'll be going to the local YMCA's instead.

These guys are awesome! We have been going for just a few weeks, and already my son has progressed about halfway through the objectives for his level. Coach Zachary and Coach Bailey are super supportive of the students. They tell me what he needs to work on without being critical, but they really focus on what he's done well in each lesson. We've tried lessons elsewhere and never been very successful. But every lesson here, I'm amazed at how much my son improves.

My 6-daughter has spent several summers in lessons through the city (actually several of the cities in the North Austin suburbs). She made little-to-no progress with high student-teacher ratios and seemingly inexperienced summer lifeguard staffers. At one city program, the swim teacher literally chased around a screaming and crying student 75% of the time while my daughter sat on the edge of the pool waiting for instruction. This kind of stuff does not happen at Aqua Tots. The staff is professional and well-trained. My daughter has spent little time sitting at the edge of the pool waiting, insteading spending most of the time being engaged in water activities. She came in TERRIFIED and within 7 lessons is swimming independently. She had all the skills but just needed the confidence to put them together. Aqua Tots instructors have made her feel 100% comfortable and have given her this confidence. The instructors are available after each lesson for a few moments to give you a few comments about your swimmer, too. They also track your skills on a laminated card.
This place is PRICEY, but, we feel like we are getting what we paid for. The $30 lessons through the city didn't help us actually LEARN to swim. We LOVE AquaTots.

HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY. This place is the worst place ever. I had my son scheduled for a swim class at 930 am this past Saturday. I called on Friday at 3:32pm to confirm and they said yep he is good to go at 930am on Saturday. Showed up on Saturday at 915am and they checked his name off on the schedule. Waited.......Waited.......Waited.......Waited......went to the counter to see what is up, and they said "Oh, he doesn't have an appointment today". WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So here I am with my 6 year old crying because THEY messed up and they do absolutely nothing about it. I did my part. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY KIDS TO AQUATOTS AGAIN!

I always tell everybody that our daughter is going to swimming classes. I was thinking I am just inpatient parent with my daughter and I am taking her to swimming classes way too early. Yes I took her to swimming classes when she was only 7 months old. Since she is my first and only, right :) Now she is 11 months old. And NOW! She is very comfortable in the water. She can do monkey walks, she can blow bubbles, she is very relax when she back floats, she is not fan of being dipped in water but not complaining either. These things take time for an infant to be comfortable. She is already level 2! She was supposed to be level 2 around 18 months but her instructor thinks she probably will make level 3 which is alone with instructor before she is 2 years old! I think I made a great decision on taking her swimming classes and I think Aqua tots is a great place to take kids.
They are very friendly. They are super nice about setting make up classes. Instructors do love their job obviously. They are so kind and loving to children. My daughter enjoys with water and she is very comfortable in it. Thank you Aqua tots. I think price is reasonable as well.
You are teaching my daughter a life time gift!

Do NOT take your children to this place. DO NOT give them your credit card numbers.they are con artists and thieves.

First i called to inquire about the place & prices and they kept asking for my credit card number to sign up my kid!!?? Like a bill collector!!!
I took my son there for 1 session they charged me over $40 even though i informed them it was for one visit!! but they said that there are "Annual Fees, registration fees, enrollment fees...and a bunch of other fees that I MUST pay"!!!
A month later i find out they charged my credit card for 2 months of membership without my consent. when i called to request a refund they gave me the run around and claimed that i have to give 30 days notice!!!
What kind of a place is this? they latch on you like a blood sucking snake.
Not to mention the place was very bad, Looks like their AC did not work it was too stuffy, humid and not to mention Unclean.
