I definitely recommend taking lessons at The Woodlands Arthur Murray Dance Studio! I walked in with no dance experience at all, and everyone made me feel super welcome right away. Between the group classes and private lessons, I’ve learned a ton of new dances and built up my confidence. Friday night dance parties are always a good time, and the people here have become some of my good friends—we even go out country dancing together now! This is a wonderful, friendly dance studio. The teaching staff are the tops in competitive ballroom dance professionals. Great exercise for both mind and body. Lots of dance events throughout the year, including virtual and live lessons, local, state, and national competitions, themed spotlight parties, stage performances, and weekly social dance parties. Friendly students, too!
No dance partner is required in order to have fun at this studio. Good for improving physical stamina and core strength in a fun and entertaining way. It is a great place for teens to develop dance skills, posture, confidence, and dance etiquette. Wedding dance packages are also available for the bride and groom as well as for the bridal party. I highly recommend.

Woodlands Arthur Murray is awesome! I started taking lessons here 14 years ago without having any previous dance experience. I am very happy with my progress, thanks to Todd, the owner, who is extremely knowledgeable, talented and has danced professionally. An absolutely fantastic and high-quality experience. I was looking for a safe and comfortable environment where I could finally have the opportunity to do something I had wanted to do for years - learn to dance! Every instructor there is top notch and is concerned about the progress of each student. They present lessons in a very doable manner that is not overwhelming. Their goal is your success. I got a deal of 4 private lessons for couples as a gift to my wife, she said it is the best gift in 15 years. Husbands! If you want to surprise your wives, please get out of comfort zone and buy lessons at Arthur Murray Studio. You will not regrate! We got our personal lesson with Todd Combs, and he is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was natural for me who never danced before. Explanation easy to follow. Very practical that we took back home and surprised our kids with our new skill. Next lesson was with Michael! He is brilliant. Step by step explanation with a lot of fun made me regret that I bought only 4. Go and try their newcomers class. This is MUST have experience for couples!

My husband and I have never attempted to dance together beyond a very simple slow dance and that left us sitting out at most of our family functions. With my niece's wedding set for May, we decided to dive in and learn to do the basics. We couldn't have picked a better studio than Arthur Murray of The Woodlands. They are not only supremely qualified but they approach this daunting task with patience and humor, making us feel at ease with the process.
As a lifelong non-dancer, I always watched others dancing with envy. Our dance instructors have put my lack of confidence to rest with their extraordinary friendliness, expertise and teaching skills. I'm looking forward to each class and my dancing future. Lessons by all the instructors have been delightful. Rather than intimidating it is fun. This was a new experience for my husband and I which we have thoroughly enjoyed. The weekly dance party is something to look forward to as the start of the weekend and to try out the new steps we have learned with other like-minded students.

It always amazes me when I watch the students of Arthur Murray The Woodlands perform. It’s not just their mastery of dancing but the sheer joy expressed while doing something that brings happiness to their lives.

Arthur Murray provides an amazing, fun environment for all dancers. The instructors are experts, and they know the industry quite well. I originally went in just because I love to dance and wanted to learn more. Previously I'd just done club swing. Now I can't wait to be able to do all of the dances that they teach! I have been going to WAM for almost a year now and absolutely love it. I originally went in just to learn swing, but the instructors gave me a taste of ballroom and now I'm hooked! How do I love WAM? Let me count the ways....First of all, it's just plain fun. Also, the instructors there are friendly, encouraging and eager to help you learn. The students are also friendly. I have met many new friends. We have lots of laughs during classes and parties. And I have learned so much! Also, there are health benefits. Dancing is good for my mind and body, and it's good for my heart. I love it. I feel so happy when I am there, and I can be there often. There are lots of classes through the week and opportunities to travel and perform from time to time.

I've been taking lessons from Brian for 3 1/2 years now and I can honestly say that I've never enjoyed anything more! The private lessons focus on steps and technique, while the group classes and practice parties allow you to implement and practice what you've learned in a social setting.
