They do not value anything but money there days. My brother Ross and I both went to the original ASI. Now the turnover for coaches is so high you won't keep the same teacher for longer than a few months. All the coaches act like they are herding cats. My daughter has been attending tumbling here for over a year and she made no advancement. The are unable to keep the children engaged and unable to make sure they are participating. I have expectations on the level of engagement. There is a major problem if my daughter is allowed to lay on the floor for 5 min straight without anyone telling her to get back on task. She is only 7 and kids that age need to be kept on task. If a coach tells them to do something then walks away, it is not really effective. We are moving her to another gym. The coaching issues have been brought up repeatedly and they don't do anything other than be pacifying. Very disappointed, especially when I had high expectations due to my own previous experience.

Our kids love ASI classes. They get to have a lot of fun while they are getting real gymnastic training.
The coaches are great. Some have more experience and some don't but they are all nice. No complaints there.

The only thing I want to see some improvement is in the parking area. Many lazy selfish parents park their cars in front of the door and keep waiting for their kids to come out of the class while some people are already trying to leave the parking lot but they can't because their cars are blocked by those selfish folks. The problem is that all kids finish the class and come out at the same time, so the parking gets crazy every time after the class. Today, I saw 5 cars lined up blocking the whole entire parking lot in front of the door and two upset individuals were yelling at those selfish parents causing the congestion.
I don't like to see that. I think the ASI staff should tell the parents not to park at the curb or at least put up signs to tell them not to park their cars there.

Anyways, otherwise, this is a very nice gym and we like it a lot.

My family has had such a positive experience at ASI, and I can't recommend it enough! My daughter has been attending for a little while now and absolutely loves it, which is the most important thing.

A huge part of her enjoyment comes from Coach Leith, who is simply fantastic. Coach Leith not only interacts wonderfully with my daughter, making her feel comfortable and engaged, but is also a truly excellent instructor, clearly skilled at teaching and developing their abilities.

More recently, my son started attending, and we've been equally impressed with Coach Alex, who is also very good and provides a great experience for him.

Beyond the specific coaches, the overall atmosphere at ASI is incredibly positive. Every coach I've interacted with has been friendly and approachable. It's truly a nice, inviting, and friendly environment that makes both the kids and parents feel welcome. It's clear that the staff are dedicated to creating a supportive and enjoyable space for everyone.

It was for a toddlers birthday my son was invited to. I guess you could say some kids enjoyed it. With that being said, You sign a waiver before you can go to the interior of the building which is very understandable. So I believe it should be a free for all. Let the kids play on what is available to play with or on instead of making them all do one thing for a ser time then line up for the next and so on till party time. That's what the waiver is for.

I had previously wrote a review giving a 1 star but I am editing it now. The previous issue the gym has worked to correct it and my daughter really enjoys her time here. She is in the gymmie kids program and has a shadow named Holly who is really good with her. My daughter is on the spectrum and has a lot of energy so whoever takes over when Holly leaves will definitely have to match my daughter’s energy. Only thing I think is the shadows should all be trained across the board for when one person is absent the other who works in that person’s place have the same knowledge in how to direct the kid’s energy. But I’m willing to work with them because they have worked with us and showed they are definitely trying so I am happy with them and hope soon my daughter will get it enough to no longer need the shadow for her classes. Also all the coaches that I have watched (on the Saturdays we come)while waiting for my daughter to

My son just had his birthday party here. I purchased the ninja party package. I would 10/10 recommend this place for birthday parties. The party room has 2 extra long tables and shelves for personal belongings and to place food on top of. The three staff members were amazing. I literally didn't have to lift a finger. They guided guests to the room, They set up the party room with the decor and plates I brought, served the pizza and cupcakes I brought and took care of clean up. They were so helpful and it made my experience stress free. If your looking to do a party here I definitely recommend getting the extended time frame. The one hour went by so quick and I wish I purchased the extended time. It was great having the place to ourselves and the option for parents to drop their kid off for the party. Thank you!

Our grandson had a wonderful time here for his 5th birthday 🎂. The coaches were so good working with the children doing gymnastics and having fun for the first hour while the parents relaxed and chatted with the other parents. Then the coaches sent the kids to wash their hands and sat them around the party table and proceeded to serve them the pizza and cupcakes we bought. Everything was so fun and so professional. I want to recognize Coach Tanner for an "OUTSTANDING" as he has been putting extra effort into the boys' team (Eleven boys) and other office duties for his roles.

The other office duties took tremendous time, and he still acknowledged his responsibility to help the boys' team improve the skills that they will need to achieve the goal for their levels.

Coach Tanner has been doing the job for two people or more, and I hope that he will have an assistant who has the same level of experience to coach the boys' team. Because, as the boys move up to the next higher level, they need more support, so when there is the time for a competition, the boys' team can show other gyms that ASI at Firewheel is the "BEST" gym where there is no other gyms can beat this one.

In 2021 and 2022, we (All boys' parents and ASI Firewheel) want the boys' team to come back from the competition with more "VICTORY" than in the past.

Every year, the tuition increases for the upgraded many types of equipment, more great coaches, etc. Therefore, I would like to suggest a second coach supporting Tanner's for the boys' team. Because the team has eleven boys, that is "MORE" than a handful for one coach.

Please note that Coach Tanner is a good coach; eleven boys and other office duties will wear him quickly.

Also, I noticed the pommel horse equipment needs to upgrade; because the handlebars on it looked loose from taking them off and put them back when a specific group-level used to practice the pommel horse.

How about, let have two pommel horses, for the "SAFETY" reason of helping the team practice more, and the equipment can damage the wrist of the hands when it is not handled correctly.

Hands down, the best birthday we've ever had!!! My 6 year old could not stop talking about how much fun she had at ASI for her birthday party. Coach Brittnee and Coach Anika went above and beyond to make her feel so special on her big day. They played awesome age appropriate games, gave us some photo ops, and catered to our every need. ASI Firewheel is amazing! I have gone here for 4+ years and am now in their level 3/x-cel silver girls team. I have had Coach Tanner, Coach Leith, and Coach Brittnee, among many other fantastic coaches. They are encouraging, they push you without breaking you down, and they help you be the best gymnast you can be. I have loved every minute of my time there. Even when I thought I couldn't achieve something, they made me believe I could. I couldn't ask for a better group of coaches, or a better gym. ASI Firewheel may not be for everyone, but I encourage anyone that is considering trying gymnastics to come here first.

After 4 YEARS, I have had enough and let me tell you why.

Many of us parents decided to get our kids off the couch and into something more healthy and fun.

That is how it all started. ASI is an amazing place FOR LITTLE KIDS. My daughter started in bronze and then finally getting a test for the girls' team.

I thought this was strange as I have never seen "professional coaching". I always have felt it was more a fun thing.

My daughter loved parents night out and the other activities and we would at times spend up to $65 in extra activities, bringing my out of pocket expense around $145 (4 hours coaching 16 hours fun), well worth it.

As my daughter did get older she would complain that other kids weren't taking it seriously but was never focused on them.

THEN 1 DAY a "coach" approaches and ask if I would like her to try out for the team and we were like great. My daughter has been talking about it for months now as the "coaches". Well, the day came and when she was tested and they said she was ready, GREAT!

THEN $$$$$ At that point we were paying monthly $80 and now team is $176 + material. OMG how did we go from $80 to $176 and the coaching hours went to 4 to 8?

Now I am asking myself really what is the point of this business. It's not about bettering the kids is a scheme to get the parents to pay more.

After visiting another local GYM and seeing the other kids. OMG, ASI is like Little GYM compared to what is out there.

In conclusion, if your daughter loves gymnastics like my daughter then go somewhere else. It is like night and day and the skill level the kids have.

After YEARS we are done ASI

Front office staff is nice. Although, I once asked three different reps the same question and got three different answers....Coaches seem to enjoy their job and my daughter really liked her coach. Only complaints are class sizes and the carpeted bleachers. Parents allow their kids to eat, drink and do whatever on the bleachers and fail to clean up after them. Sticky gunk and crumbs decorate the seats. The class issue...Her class went from three people to seven and by that time I was paying about $20 an hour for her to stand in a line. There were nights they didnt even get a chance to practice their back handsprings etc. Not a bad establishment but we are venturing on to other things that have more action for the cost.

We love this gym. My kiddos really look forward to learning new skills. We love both coach Jasmine's. They​ are super sweet, consistent, and patient. They really take their time and make sure each child gets the time they need with them. Coach Tanner is awesome, he keeps the kids on their toes..He always has a fun trick up his sleeve that not only keeps it interesting but keeps them wanting to learn new skills. Coach James keeps the energy going. Super fun. He not only encourages the kids he personally coaches but he encourages every kid he comes in contact with! The whole staff is nice. They really care about your kids. Gymnastics is really a team sport at ASI Firewheel!

Both of my girls have attended ASI my oldest for 4 years and my youngest for just a year. We have had some wondeful coaches especially Tanner and Darian. They are all so good to my girls and go out of there way to great them every time we walk in the building. Not to mention they are good gymnastics coaches as well.

My daughter has been attending ASI for 5 months now since she was 18 months old. She started in the tiny tots level 1 with coach Tanner. He is so patient and encouraging of his students and you can really tell that he loves his job. He just promoted my daughter to the next level and we are sad to be leaving his class. My daughter was shy and scared at the beginning but now gives him hugs and high fives. I'm thankful for all the skills, both technical and social, that he has taught her. I highly recommend signing up with coach Tanner!

My daughter has been going to this ASI for over a year and we have had loved coming every week for classes. Coach Tanner was her first coach and she still runs to give him hugs every time she sees him. He gave her such a strong foundation and love of gymnastics that kept growing into the next level with coach Jasmine! Jasmine cared about teaching the kids right techniques while having fun. And now she is with coach Gabby and learning how to do cart wheels better than ever! I love this gym for my daughter, you can tell the coaches care and they teach very well. I pay attention to coach turnover to tell if a business is running well and in the year we have been there we see the same coaches grow with our kids! Great place to learn for my kid!

Perfect place for the recreational gymnast. My daughter loves it and has so much fun in class that she begs to go to every open gym and PNO they offer. Coach Megan and Coach Darien are her favorites, but every coach there is amazing. They make every kid feel like the "cool" kid. I like that it's laid back and not focused on competing but rather overall fun and learning. I love that open gym is every Friday and only costs $10 so I can have a nice dinner with my husband while she runs off her extra energy playing at ASI!

Both my boys have been students of Coach Tanner for many years. Mr. Tanner is an amazing individual. He makes all the hard work fun and is great at encouraging his students. We recently moved but still drive 45-60 minutes twice a week so that they can continue to learn under Coach Tanner. I really can't recommend him highly enough. He's a great teach, an inspirational leader and a wonderful role model for my boys.

Our coach, Jasmine Langford, is so great with our daughter Katelynn. Kate started the class so shy, not knowing how to do much. Coach Jasmine has opened her up tremendously and taught her so many quality life lessons! My son loves Coach Tanner. Coach Tanner shows he cares by challenging the athlete. He shares constructive criticism in a fun way. The kids are very responsive to his coaching. I love this place! They are perfect for all ages accordingly. And my youngest in the two year old class, they do coordination building in all kinds of qays and a little color course. And the teachers ar e fabulous. And every single one of the older girls is amazing to watch. I love it! Cant wait til my girls can flip like that!
