Atomic Outpost is the real deal. The programming is clearly thought out, not overly complicated, always challenging, and complete to meet my goals. It's the best and most complete I've seen at an Austin gym. The trainers are all down to earth and knowledgeable. The community is great. Highly recommend.

I’ve really enjoyed training with Atomic for the past few months- the coaches are great, the programming is challenging and emphasizes the fundamentals while keeping it fun, and the community is so welcoming and kind. The group classes have been amazing and I’ve even made a few friends with other strong, badass people. I’d recommend Atomic to a more intermediate lifter personally, as classes are a little more independent/self-guided than other places I’ve been to, but overall it truly is a wonderful place full of amazing athletes- 10/10!

Atomic Outpost is way more than a gym.
It’s a 360-degree program. The gym itself is an excellent facility. The equipment is all top notch. It’s clean, roomy and close to domain area. The workout program and daily group workouts are well-thought out, full-body challenges. The coaches make sure you are lifting with good form and challenging yourself correctly in the group workouts. I’ve already dropped weight and improved physique within the first month and here’s why...
The Coaches are truly top-notch. They are knowledgeable about the right form - I’ve been working out for 20+ years and they have shown me little tweaks about how to improve my lifts. You can feel the difference right away during the lift and this injury avoidance & respect is worth it. The coaches and gym regulars are all in amazing shape, yet very supportive of those just getting started. All this allows me to challenge myself consistently.
The Atomic community is really supportive. There are group workouts Downtown on Saturdays and stretching/yoga to restore on Sundays. They are nutrition focused and have an optional nutrition program to complement the workout plan. Another highlight is the side quests like the Halloween night-ops run, Holiday party and other events. Lastly, their social media is super positive which keeps me focused on staying healthy and fit.
Atomic Outpost has really exceeded my expectations on what "a gym" can be.

I am not a gym rat. I have never had a membership to a gym in my life -- my athleticism derives from cycling, mountain biking and professional dancing. However, after being strongly persuaded by a member of Atomic Athlete, I decided to check out what all the fuss is about. I live close to Atomic Outpost, so that is where I go. It is quite possibly the best decision I have ever made for myself in regard to my workout routine. I am obsessed with this place. It's been two months since I joined, and I am eager to get into it every Monday. I have a few chronic injuries and they know exactly how I should modify the exercises that I know are going to irritate that body part. The most unexpected part is the people --- the comradery in unreal. I only do the group workouts, and everyone is so nice and welcoming and supportive. The coaches are GREAT. They do an incredible job at keeping you motivated and pumped up during the grueling parts of the workout where you kind of feel like you're going to die a little but don't. My most favorite part is that not one workout has been the same, which is great for someone like me because I get bored easily and love to be challenged. I am so grateful that I found this place. It is everything that my friend described it to be and more. Do yourself a favor and give yourself a month here. Just try it. You'll never wanna quit, I promise.

It's been an incredible experience. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and the coaches are absolutely fantastic. They take the time to get to know each member personally and tailor workouts to individual goals and abilities.
The workouts themselves are challenging but always varied and interesting, so I never get bored. The facility is top-notch, so I always feel safe and supported during my workouts.
But what really sets the Outpost apart is the community. I've made so many new friends and workout buddies since joining, and everyone is so supportive and encouraging. It truly feels like a family.
Overall, I would highly recommend Atomic Athlete Outpost to anyone looking for a fun, challenging, and supportive workout community in North Austin.

Where to start, I moved to ATX on late December and start looking a place to train that is when I found Atomic Athlete. Before I came I was doing CrossFit & swimming 2 days a week. Once I started training at the outpost I was amazed by the different exercises plus the regular ones everyone uses and it was a different way to train after several weeks doing their inhouse programming we had some test and oh boy I could not be more surprised with the results my aerobic capacity running specifically was improved a lot, I thought I was fit couldn't I be more wrong, perhaps I am not lifting heavier weights however I can lift the same weight over and over without feeling fatigue I might as well jump back to rugby thanks to this amazing programming and coaches, recently bought another hypertrophy program and had some questions that coaches were more than happy to answer, due to my working schedule I cannot make it to the group class however coaches are more willing to answer any question I have of the daily programming or different one. Gym is awesome! it has everything you need to train whether your following the programming or doing your own thing, barbells, dumbbells, racks, rope, skipping rope, rows, bicycles, several bumpers, sleds, outdoor racks, tires, you name it they have it all, and if you are more of a cardio person there is plenty of room for you to run outside. The accessibility is great! Come check it out you will not regret it! perhaps we will share a playlist in the near future while working out and pushing our limits each day.

I’ve been a gym rat for most of my life. I’ve trained in a lot of different types of programs and used to have multiple gym memberships at different gyms so I could mix it up to stay on top of my game.
I have found more versatility and well rounded programming at Atomic than I have ever seen anywhere else. This is all you need.
The only thing that is better than the absolutely savage programming is the community of absolute savages that you will find here.

I can't say enough great things about Atomic, but I'll name a few here. I come from a group fitness class background and have always wanted to incorporate more strength/traditional modalities into my workouts, but never felt motivated to dive into it on my own. Cue, Atomic. Not only do they offer group training classes with a coach, but everyone from staff to other members are just stellar people. No one is in competition with each other and nobody ever frowns upon others who can't do certain exercises/need modifications. Then there is the training content - having workouts already programmed for you is a luxury (now necessity, LOL) I never knew I was missing! Being an athlete from a young age and a coach in my early 20s, it's so great to see how much thought and intention goes into the programming week-over-week. And the results are REAL. Brava!
If you need a gym in Austin to call home that is rooted in integrity and hard-work, this is the place.

You can do your own thing, attend their classes, or work out on your own time using their programming. I’ve been using Atomic’s programming for almost a year now and it has been life changing. The coaches are always warm and welcoming and willing to answer any questions you may have. If you’re thinking about working out here, I can’t recommend it enough. Love Atomic Outpost. I was a long time member of Atomic Athlete, which is (in my opinion) the best gym in Austin, Texas. Unfortunately, I live in North Austin, and Atomic HQ is in South Austin, so at this point it isn't convenient for me any more.
Enter Atomic Outpost. It's literally perfect for what I need - a fully functional gym that allows for remote access (Kisi App on my phone to unlock the front door) that has everything you'd need. I unlock the door, sign in, and the programming is listed on the board for me to follow. The gym comes equipped with a Sonos sound system so I get to pick the music by which I get my gainz, and then it even has a shower and locker room for when I'm done and need to clean up before I head to the office.
The community is not to be overlooked either - great folks who are focused on functional fitness and leave their egos at the door. If you're in N. Austin and are serious about your fitness, you'd be remiss to overlook Atomic Outpost.

For a few years had the privilege to train at Atomic Athlete HQ. The training and community was the best I’ve ever experienced. I loved it! After having 2 boys, life got too busy to keep going to the gym. Atomic Outpost is my new happy place. I’m able to go train at anytime, while still having access to the training program. The coaches are still available and involved, and still make you feel like family. The convenience and quality at the outpost is the best you could ask for.

I absolutely love training at Atomic Outpost in North Austin. For the past decade, Atomic has had the best strength training programming and facilities in the Austin area (and beyond). Built on a foundation of science and %/progressive based programming, Atomic always delivers. The coaches are some of the best in the industry and are fantastic people as well. I easily get my money's worth every month. I would recommend all athletes (and humans) to try training at Atomic Athlete. One of the most important aspects of Atomic Outpost is the mental toughness and mental fitness that I get by training at Atomic. It is a vital ingredient to the success of my career outside of the gym.

The new Outpost location brings the same professionalism and mentality as the original location, but it allows you to train with more flexibility on your own schedule. I haven’t been going long enough to really melt into the community yet, but I can tell I am going to love it.
Having done CrossFit for 6 years, the programming really sticks out to me, as well as how the coaches talk about and explain it. There is more logic and science put into this programming than any other gym I have been to, and unlike most gyms, where one person does the programming and everyone else does an okay job of explaining it to the athletes, here, if you didn’t know better, you would think every coach you spoke with wrote every bit of the workout.
They are passionate about what and why we are doing what we are doing, and each are knowledgeable enough to break it down and make it personal based on your limitations or abilities.

Joined Atomic Outpost back in July when it opened and have no ragrets (not even a single letter). Open gym concept, so come in on your own time or join a badass group on M/W/F at 6:30pm. AO has all of the equipment you need and if there’s something you want/need the coaches will make it happen. They’re still adding a lot of great stuff (new equipment, outdoor turf area, etc). Programming is easy to understand (they have an iPad if you don’t remember the exercise names) and the week’s programming is drawn up on the board. All of the coaches preach technique and make sure you understand the movements before getting into the workout.
They also host a lot of events outside of the gym with Atomic Athlete and Atomic Legion (happy hours, range days, The Vanguard, Night Ops)
If you’re on the fence, come check it out during one of the free weeks. Guaranteed you’ll love it.

I can't rave about Atomic Athlete enough. The best thing about Atomic is the class sizes, the coaches, and the programming. I've tried a lot of other gyms around Austin and felt like there were too many people and the coaches weren't watching me. Max amount of people in a class is around 15 people. Coaches are there to watch you and correct you on form. Programming is sent out weekly and mixture of cardio and strength training. It's meant to be physically and mentally challenging. During open gym, if you don't know an exercise, there's a video library that demonstrates the exercise. It's not just a gym at Atomic, it's a community/family as well. They have a lot happy hours, women's gun safety classes, range day, and overall just rad people to hang around.

I've been training at Atomic HQ since HQ was an apocalyptic Suburban stuffed with kettlebells and sandbags decades ago, and the programming, community, and coaching has excelled and grown exponentially through those years. When Outpost was opened, I was initially dubious, but it's been a huge advantage for me. As an emergency responder, my schedule is erratic, and having the option to drop in to either an open gym where I can meditatively slog through my training at any time, or hit a coached session at Outpost when I need the supervision/technique correction/community motivation to get gym work done has greatly affected my life satisfaction. Working in Williamson County and living in East Austin, the Outpost has become my go-to when I need to get a session in, shower, and get back to work. Great equipment, exactly the kind of facility courtesies that I prefer (No wall mirrors or douchebags), and, as always, stellar programmed sessions prepared for me; allowing peace of mind, flexibility of schedule, and reprieve from the selfie-stick gym crowds and aseptic homogeneity of atmosphere I would have otherwise been at the mercy of in North Austin and Williamson County. If you're looking for something that provides for your individualism while adopting you into a strong community, you would do well to consider Atomic, and Outpost is much more than a satellite.

The guys at Atomic Athlete are the best at what they do. I’ve gone to Atomic for years, and their programming is methodical and well-implemented; it works for professional athletes, weekend warriors, or sedentary desk-job types. I commonly tell people that this is where trainers come to train.
The Atomic Outpost fills a much needed niche in the Austin elite training game- open gym hours with access to their stellar programming, plus a few coached session a week if you need the motivation of a class.
Combine this with a sense of community I’ve never seen in a gym, and you’ve really got the best of all possible worlds.
