I had a great 1-1 session with Olivier. We got right into it so he could gauge my skill level, and from there worked on what he felt I needed to improve (hip rotation; breathing; etc.) above and beyond combinations and striking. It was a comprehensive session as we did some calisthenics and stretching to finish. I’ll be going back for sure.

Olivier is an excellent coach for beginners and professional athletes alike. I was in town for the week and Olivier was able to identify weaknesses in my technique with an eye that only an experienced coach with high fight IQ would posses. If you’re a local, I highly encourage you to discover the beautiful art of Muay Thai with Olivier.

Coach Olivier is top-notch! Extremely knowledgable and experienced, with a clear, genuine love for and investment in coaching. He has no shortage of approaches and techniques to tailor to your unique experience level and goals. It’s been a pleasure working with him, and I highly recommend to anyone in the area who is interested in or trains Muay Thai; you’ll get much more out of a session with him than your average group class.

Training with Olivier has been a game changer. He’s great at pointing out the little details in technique that make a huge difference, and he takes the time to walk me through combos until they feel natural. Even when I’m exhausted, he pushes me to finish the round and reminds me not to give up. On top of that, he’s super knowledgeable every session I walk away with new Muay Thai fun facts and skills.

We have had a fantastic experience with Olivier. He has trained with world champions and is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about each student’s progress. The training sessions are challenging but matched to the students conditioning and experience. My son has made real improvements in confidence and fitness. His approach is welcoming, inspiring and supportive, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. I highly recommend him for anyone interested in Muay Thai or martial art training!

Coach Olivier is great. I did one session and he helped me with my footwork and my technique. I had practiced Muay Thai regularly over the past year and he was able to point out and give me guidance on what to work on. I will definitely see him when I'm back in Austin

I’ve been training one-on-one with Olivier at Austin Fight Team and couldn’t be happier. He knows how to push you to get better while still keeping the sessions focused on the core fundamentals of Muay Thai. Every session is a great workout, but more importantly, you leave feeling like you’re building real technique. It’s clear he’s learned from some of the best in the world (Ask him about it!), which shows in the way he teaches. I’m glad I found him when I moved to Austin — highly recommend his 1-on-1 sessions to anyone looking to improve fast with the right foundation.

I worked with Olivier for a few months and had an excellent experience. Initially, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I quickly started gaining a lot from our sessions.
One of the first things I noticed was becoming more in tune with how my body moves and how I compensated in certain motions. Olivier helped me loosen up and better engage my core to connect my upper and lower body. He was great at providing feedback and pinpointing areas that needed improvement, then working with me on exercises to correct those movement issues.
Another significant benefit was a boost in confidence and feeling more at ease in dealing with people. One of the main reasons I wanted to try Muay Thai was to learn a practical type of martial arts that would help me feel more secure in potentially dangerous situations. During one experience, someone approached me aggressively while I was traveling, and although the situation could have escalated, I didn’t feel unsafe. I calmly left the encounter knowing I had the tools to defend myself if necessary. Knowing how to defend yourself and those you care about does wonders to your ability to relax in unfamiliar settings.
I also had a boost in cardio. I had been experiencing chest pains and I was worried about my heart health. Muay Thai sessions are an intense cardio workout and it is one of the few things where I noticed a massive improvement. Olivier was great at finding the right balance of keeping things challenging but not too easy. He doesn't wait until you are completely wiped out but knows when to push you. If you want improve your cardio, this is one of the best ways to do it.
Lastly, my overall mentality shifted for workouts and many other related activities. I reached a point after a month or so where I was truly able to shut off my brain and just engaged with the activity. I trusted myself to perform without relying on the thinking part of my brain. This was huge for me as overthinking is a mistake I make in tons of activities in life. This leads to questioning myself, making too many excuses, and tightening up. Learning the skill of turning off my brain and letting myself develop naturally is something I can carry to many facets of life. This is a life lesson that is very hard to learn and working with Olivier helped me achieve it.
Overall, I highly recommend working with Olivier. I learned a benefited greatly and I hope to continue working with.

Olivier is an expert at Muay Thai and at coaching. I learned extremely quickly compared to previous group classes, all due to his style of teaching which is the perfect balance of drills, practice reps with constant tweaks, sparring and pushing out of your comfort zone, and understanding the discipline of Muay Thai itself. I feel invigorated and powerful afterwards and I'm grateful for this opportunity to train with one of the best

As a beginner, the 1st session learning Muy Thai and Thai boxing with Olivier was incredible. His personality was made for coaching, and he kept things at a level that was perfect for where I'm at. I feel high on life and invigorated, even now, 3 days after the session. The brain and body exercise with this experience is SO GOOD!! 5 stars all the way ~ Highly recommend.

Positive and negative.
Positive: training is good. He is knowledgeable with techniques that he got from his former Muay Thai coach. He offers water and the place is relaxing with plants.
Negative: Poor time management and lack of transparency. You must keep track of your passes because he won’t. You must be clear and ask all the questions you can early on about this person or else you’ll get lying by omission.

I've been training with AFT for 2 months now. Coming from a hobby-boxing background, I had zero knowledge of Muay Thai techniques. Olivier takes the time to break down the different movements and gives immediate feedback when I'm starting to get things right.
It's a really great mix of a cardio and strength workout, coupled with the intensity level that suits my needs as someone who enjoys learning to throw and block punches, but has no intention of ever stepping into a ring. My 10-pack is almost done, I'll be getting another one soon!

Are you sad because you are just a weak little guy with no strength at all? I was too, until I discovered Austin fight team.
I learned to fight, and I punched away all of my sadness. The lessons are engaging, and the coach is great. Olivier is not only martial arts coach, but a great community member as well. He is very patient, and always there to help out if we ask real nicely.
Training with Olivier is so exhilarating that by the time you go through a couple of lessons, you’ll forget all about your beginner status as you punch and kick and learn. By the time you get a little experience in with the sweetest lil coach around, you’ll be thinking that maybe the real martial arts was the friends we made along the way!

I booked 10 sessions with Olivier to commit to my first ever martial arts. Throughout these 10 custom curated lessons, Olivier taught me the foundations of punches, kicks, knees, elbows and footwork.
He always made sure that exercises varied between sessions, that their complexity increased and that they matched my energy/fitness level of the day.
When needed, he’d throw in some stretching and conditioning, which are both crucial to getting in fighting shape (and often overlooked).
If I didn’t grasp a move or a combination, Olivier would either break it down back to the basics or completely switch teaching tactics.
Thanks to Olivier’s coaching, I have developed a profound respect for Muay Thai.
I’ll definitely be back for more fighting :)

Olivier is a fantastic coach. I started training Muay Thai under him and to this day, still use many of his techniques, warm ups, and footwork fundamentals.
I started training under Olivier Oct/Nov. of 2020, so at the height of the pandemic. I really appreciated how he offered outdoor training in the Auditorium shores because 1. Covid was very scary at that time, 2. it was a great view, and most importantly 3. it's a much softer fall onto grass when you're being swept (hahaha). He's now upgraded to his lovely backyard area, that has a heavy bag which is great for conditioning shins! He also comes to your home, which is also really nice. But during the pandemic, I was itching to get outside 😂
If you get the chance to train with Olivier - jump at it. His footwork knowledge alone is worth a pound in gold. His knowledge of speed, accuracy, and strategy is something that you can only get from someone who trained under Jean-Charles Skarbowsky. It's honestly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Thanks to Olivier's training - I'm incredibly confident in my teep and push kick. So much so that I won a competition. All due to the fact that he taught me the true fundamentals of a teep and push kick, and to this day, I still use his warm up exercises that he taught me.

I'm well impressed with Olivier. He's fought and trained in thailand, worked with some of the most elite fighters and coaches in the world; It's his ability to translate that knowledge, real time, that drastically shortens the learning curve. He's shown me how to best defend against a Southpaw, something that has alluded me for years. Whether you're a seasoned pro or looking to glove-up for the first time and get in shape, he tailors the workout to all skill levels. I'm going to have him train my daughters. He is, without a doubt, the premier, Mui Thai, guy in Austin!
