This is a wonderful gym with great equipment and an inviting atmosphere. My wife and I work out there 3 times a week with our trainer, Daniel Ramirez. We really look forward to our sessions; Daniel keeps changing our activities to gradually increase our strength. He has clients from all age groups; however, he puts a lot of thought into what 65+ Seniors like us are able to handle. If Google would allow 10 stars, we'd award Daniel and the Austin Fitness Clinic 11!

Austin Fitness Clinic and Marci Ditzell (co-owner and trainer) are essential to my life, period, and have been for years. The best thing I did when moving back to Austin was to get back on Marci’s calendar and I felt super fortunate to be able to do that. She and Sam are some of the smartest and best people I know, and the business they’ve built is just an incredible resource for so many people. The thought and care that they put into every aspect of Austin Fitness Clinic shows in the quality of every one of the trainers; the acupuncture, massage and other practitioners in their building; and the space itself. It’s not an exaggeration to say that Marci has helped me transform not just my fitness routine but my overall health and life.

Show of hands: how many got a gym membership, but spent more time over coffee than at the gym?
That was me before Brianna French. Okay, now THIS is me after Brianna French at Austin Fitness Clinic.
I know! He looks 10 years younger, you're thinking... And I do FEEL 10 years stronger.
My personal progress is real. I feel it. My wife says she can see it. But it requires hard work. Obviously, I must work hard. My personal trainer Brianna works hard too, creating a fitness plan that suits my goals. She motivates me, presenting each challenge in increments that let me celebrate my progress. We are always inching toward our next just out of reach goal--until Yeah! Nailed it! Not at all easy. But oh so rewarding when you finish each session.
Austin Fitness Clinic is a reward itself. It is a reward I give to myself. I am not a highly self-disciplined person. So, having a first class environment like AFC with a professional like Brianna definitely is important to motivate me to keep showing up.
My workouts have become my healthy habit. And I still get to enjoy coffee too.

The gym and the staff are all first rate. It is a very welcoming environment. it feels like family. On top of that, the training from a fitness and a rehab standpoint couldn’t be better. For example, while training for a marathon the owner trained and ran with us. Talk about personal service! Highly recommend Austin Fitness Clinic.

AFC is a great place to rehab, prehab, train and/or maintain!
I was introduced to AFC after a couple of knee surgeries and a back surgery. I needed to learn how to correctly train to keep my body in good functional shape as I was coming off of a few injuries, and to ensure I could remain in the best shape possible as I aged. I was introduced to the concept of functional training and saw immediate and significant results in my body, strength, stability, and stamina. Consequently, I’ve trained at AFC for the past 13+ years, and intend to continue as long as possible!
The environment is perfect for 1:1 specialized training to help you recover from injury or pain, to prepare for upcoming surgery to ensure the best possible outcome and outlook for recovery, and to simply get and stay in the best shape possible.
As a trainer/client-only gym, there is never a huge crowd or any unexpected activity or distraction. There is a great culture of camaraderie and respect amongst the trainers and the clientele. The location is convenient with very easy access and plenty of parking. The facilities are clean and modern and provide the ability to accomplish any level of training objective. And the comprehensive offerings when you factor in the available Pilates, Acupuncture, & Massage Therapy make for an ideal one-stop shop for comprehensive body work.

What brought me to Austin Fitness Clinic? It all started with my Doctor giving me “homework” after my bone density test was not where it should be. She said I want you to do 1 pull up by your next annual visit. Austin Fitness was in my neighborhood so I thought I would give it a try. I talked to the owner, Sam, and he matched me with a trainer, Yvette. It was the perfect fit. Yvette has such a positive and calming presence about her. If I come in with a specific pain, she works on that area till I’m better and can move on. It’s a collaboration, and we’re always working on achieving goals. I can’t say enough about how awesome she is. The owners, Sam and Marci, make the gym feel like a community. All the trainers are friendly and knowledgeable, and I suppose the ultimate compliment is I look forward to coming to Austin Fitness Clinic each and every time. I’m excited for the day I achieve the 1 pull up…or more!

Everything and everyone at this gym is incredible. It has everything you need to get to the best version of yourself. The owners Sam and Marci are two of the sweetest and most knowledgeable people you'll ever meet.
My husband and I train with Meghan S, and to say that this woman has changed our life is an understatement. We both deal with imbalances, pain, and weakness due to old injuries. With Meghan's guidance we're able to do things that we never expected to be able to do again and we've both put on so much muscle!
If you're not convinced yet, do yourself a favor and book an appointment to talk to someone there in person. You'll be happy you did.

Austin Fitness is the place to go for a personalized approach to working out. You can't just show up, you have one trainer who you contract with who knows you and has your best health at heart. I worked out with Sam for 10 years as I was recovering from back surgery and for the last 2 years I've worked out with Yvette - greatly enjoying the change up while still getting an excellent trainer who is watching out for my well being.
It's also nice to have the convenience of other wellness support services right there in the building.
