This gym hosted the state finals for Texas Ninja League. This was the first state finals we have attended and from the moment I walked in I was greeted. Even though it was consistently busy, they kindly answered all my questions and explained things to me. They ran an amazing event!

This gym has been very supportive and accommodating for our son throughout the four years he’s been going. The staff has always ensured he had the best environment to participate and truly went above and beyondβ€”something I've never seen at any other gym. Shout out to the office manager, Mickie, who always ensured we had everything we needed and replied quickly to any questions we had.

Coach Lulu is outstanding and a highlight of our son’s time at Austin Ninjas. He knows how to motivate the kids while also showing genuine concern for each athlete's well-being. His ability to encourage growth while offering individualized attention sets him apart.

I’m grateful for the care and understanding shown to us and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this gym to other families. Thank you for making this a welcoming place.

Awesome place to train! Me and my son stopped by to train for the upcoming WNL premier series qualifier and one of the coaches there had set up a course for us to practice on. We had so much fun we lost track of time and ended up there for 3 hours. Shout out LuLu the coach who helped us out and all the other ninjas who joined in on the fun!!

My family absolutely loves this gym! We’ve been to dozens of competitions here over the last few years, and every one of them was an amazing experience. The gym is always clean, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The competitions always start on time and are run fairly. This is truly our favorite gym and we have never had a bad experience.

We’ve visited Austin Ninjas both for open play and ninja competitions, and every experience has been exceptional. The environment is welcoming, high-energy, and well-organized. The staff is consistently friendly, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do.

We gladly drive several hours just to be here because the positive atmosphere and community make it more than worth the trip. Whether you’re here for fun or a competition, this gym truly delivers an outstanding experience every time.

Austin Ninja was awesome! My girls had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. We really need more spots like this where kids can run around, be active, and just be kids β€” way better than being stuck on screens all day. Thanks for such a great time β€” we’ll definitely be back!

We've been to Austin Ninjas for camps and regular classes and it's really a top notch gym! The coaches are all INCREDIBLE. They are so kind to the kids, go out of their way to be upbeat and positive and set an excellent example of leadership and hard work every time we're there. My child isn't always the easiest to teach and they are incredibly patient with him, always encouraging him even when he gets discouraged. The equipment is all in great condition and there are so many different activities for the kids to do! The giant walls they have to scale like in the shows are my son's favorite thing to work on. Our family is so happy to have found Austin Ninjas!

This place is amazing! The workers there on the floor for open gym Gavin and another gentleman were AMAZING!!!! 🀩 If I could give ten stars for Gavin alone I would. He was beyond helpful and patient with all the kids especially my littlest who is a ninja warrior super fan. We live in San Antonio and are already planning another trip just for this gym alone. Everyone had an amazing time! Well kept, super clean, amazing staff :)

We feel really lucky we found Coach Alyx and Coach Lulu with Austin Ninjas! We can tell they are vital to the program and are so grateful our kids had them as coaches. We have been recreationally going to Austin Ninjas for over 3 years now (weekly classes and summer camps) and have seen their confidence grow every season. It's a truly wonderful program for kids!

Austin Ninjas gym has become a go to spot for my 11 y.o son with his weekly classes and camps. This is the only place that got him interested in sport activities. Facility is well-designed with a variety of obstacle courses. Coaches are very engaged with children ( coach Logan is awesome! ), making them feel comfortable and encouraging them to try new things. The team is passionate about creating a positive and enriching experience for every child who walks through the door. Safety and cleanliness is a top notch. No wonder their weekly classes and camps are all booked way in advance.

Our 9 year old son celebrated his birthday at Austin Ninjas today. It was an amazing and well organized experience. Logan and the other coaches were great with the kids, and had plenty of activities for them to do. It was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We purchased the private party with a coach. The kids climbed, jumped, raced, and competed against the clock for 75 minutes. Then, we had 30 minutes of pizza and cake we brought to celebrate. There were no bad moments with this birthday party. Kuddos to Austin Ninjas!!!! We cannot wait to try the "Kids Night Out". Thank you for a great experience.

Place is clean, nice, good energetic staff for kids birthday parties. Kids had a blast and made me want to go out there myself. Lots of different types of obstacles to practice on, multiple sizes of the warped wall. Look forward to signing my kids up for classes.

Update: been in classes for a year, the kids love it. It's great exercise, and makes them strong and confident.

Austin ninjas is an absolutely amazing ninja facility. They hold some of the best competitions that are very well run and have a good mixture of fun and competitive obstacles. Their coaches are very well versed in ninja movement and very safe too. They also change obstacles regularly which keeps it interesting and challenging on a week to week basis! Take your kids to this amazing facility and you won’t be disappointed!!

Spend the time and drive into Austin for Ninja Nation. Their staff go above and beyond to interact with the public and kids... helping and coaching! Austin ninjas on the other hand is a joke. Today, the employees were clearly getting paid to sit around and visit and swap cell phones instead of helping kids during open gym. Meanwhile two girls at the front desk were kicked back with the feet propped up on the counter. How sloppy and unprofessional!

The facility and the coaches are nice. I went to an adult class but it was a disaster. There was a party event booked at the same time and rampaging groups of children took over all the platforms. So there was basically nothing for the adults that paid to have a class to use. The coach I had at first completely ignored me and gave zero instructions. Later I got a coach that was nice but he was struggling to manage an actual horde of children so I had like 3 minutes with him. Do not go here if you are an adult. This place is for mobs of children.

Austin Ninjas is unlike any other child's extracurricular in the Austin Area. Each member of the staff is an expert in what they do and it speaks volumes about their program that the same coaches that were there 3 summers ago are still supporting kids today. I imagine they treat the team the same way they do the kids, which is like family.

Austin Ninjas is amazing for every child, but for parents of intense kids, it's especially meaningful. I'll speak more to that later in the review, but first, the benefits for all kids. The coaches don't just build up the young athletes physically, but they build emotional resilience, grit, and social skills in every class. I don't think I've been to a session where Alyx doesn't go to one knee to get on the same level as a child who is struggling psyching them back up or Nick redirecting a frustrated student with humor to an obstacle they are more successful with only to get them right back to the challenging one with increased confidence.

I wish the approach used at Austin Ninjas was seen in all children's activities and in schools. It's not an easy task and it takes time, but the results are clear within weeks. For parents familiar with The Nurtured Heart Approach or Conscious Discipline - this is what the coaches use. I don't think it's training they've received, but it's the climate they have fostered in their gym through Alyx and Nick's leadership.

Ok, parents of intense kids - this is the only after school activity my child has been able to participate in without discussions of it maybe not being a right fit. The very first class, Alyx noticed that my kid may need some different supports and came to talk to me about what I use successfully. If there's a noticeably tough day, Nick will come do an extra check in outside of his normal communication. At Austin Ninjas, you are going to experience a partnership that I haven't seen anywhere else. My child has grown so much as a direct result of the care and support his coaches have given him. They are so good at what they do and they bring the joy they clearly exhibit at each lesson to your child's life.

I could honestly wrote so much more about their impact on my family, but I'll stop here so the message isn't diluted. Go to Ninjas and watch your child thrive.

Austin Ninjas has meant the world to our family. Our 8-year old son has been coming here for close to 3 years (both the weekly classes and the camps) and the experience has been life transforming for him.

Austin Ninjas not only keeps him strong and active with skills that translate to other sports and workouts, but it also teaches valuable life skills/lessons as well.

The Ninja community is tight and extremely encouraging. One Ninja's success is every Ninja's success and they all build one another up. This is what I want my son surrounded with. Thank you Austin Ninjas for all that you do to shape and mold our younger generations.

*** Update: I appreciate the owner's response but what she laid out just wasn't our experience, unfortunately - perhaps it varies a bit by coach. I watched not only my kid's class but another class (that was physically closer to me so I naturally watched them) and there were 15 kids in each, give or take a couple. Perhaps kids were bleeding over into neighboring classes because they're done so close together, but the coach clearly couldn't wrangle them all, in every class kids were playing/roughhousing while waiting for another turn, and contact is inevitable - they're kids, especially the more energetic boys. Regarding the other front, it wasn't Intentional/physical contact/harm that brought on the discipline, at least not in our experience - it seemed like the coaches had quick (over-)reactions to help tame the kids. I'm simply trying to help parents of energetic boys be aware of the real environment.

This review pertains to their summer camps, I can't speak for classes that take place during the school year. Anyway, the summer camp classes are utter chaos - they place WAY too many kids in each class, and there's just the 1 coach watching 15-20 kids at any given time. The kids are mostly standing around while other kids do something, they have very little time of actually learning/doing, so naturally the kids play with each other during all the standing-around time. If kids come in contact with each other during this time Austin Ninjas has an extremely low tolerance for this and is very quick to put kids in time out then send them home, even though the kids can be just playing with each other. This seems to be an over-the-top way to handle Austin Ninjas' inability to properly coach/monitor the kids, they simply put waaaaay too many in each class, but admittedly it greatly increases their revenue. So just consider this especially if you have an energetic boy that enjoys meeting/playing with other kids, but the facility itself is decent.

Austin Ninjas has been a game changer for my 12 yr old son. We’ve been going to events, birthdays, etc since it opened and finally started doing lessons in January. Every coach we have come in contact with has been amazing (shout out to Ben, Logan, Nick, & Alyx who have all worked with him in classes). They are all athletes, kid-focused, and positive role models. My son begs to go to camps and extra gym practice. He has come so far in just a few months and was able to compete in the World Ninja League Championships this past weekend at Austin Ninjas. Jennifer Halla does such a fantastic job organizing events like this. We also appreciate Coach LuLu jumping in to coach him on his run. Keep up the good work! You guys are changing lives.

Wow! Thank you Austin Ninjas for an amazing experience for our daughter at WNL Tier 2 Worlds. We were so excited to share the gym with so many athletes from across the US and Germany! I can imagine how difficult it is to plan and organize an event of this magnitude, but Austin Ninjas nailed it. All events were on time and ran seamlessly. The Austin Ninjas coaches were amazing and supportive of all the athletes. I even witnessed them coaching athletes on the courses that did not have a coach present. Amazing attitudes, organization, and an overall wonderful experience for us. Thank you to the owner, Jennifer Halla, for putting in so much hard work to make the event successful.

We were there this last weekend, Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2, for the WNL Tier 2 World Finals. It was an amazing event!! It ran on time, which is no surprise for Austin Ninjas, the staff was courteous and kind, and the athletes were fantastic!! I was able to watch any event I wanted too and the people were kind and would move if my son was competing so I could be sure to see well. It was absolutely amazing at how many people were able to move through the gym without feeling completely overcrowded. We always enjoy our time at Austin Ninjas and I can only hope that the Tier 2 championships will be there again next year!

We were there supporting friends who were competing in the Ninja Worlds championship last weekend. Very disappointing organizing.
Poor planning and late execution. The gym facility is newer but the whole event lacks professional oversight. Having witnessed many competitive sporting events, we were shocked to see how a competition of this level was not better managed.
There were also international competitors making this a β€œWorlds” event. What could have been a great opportunity to showcase this inaugural Ninja Tier 2 Championships is pretty embarrassing. Honestly, a local school soccer tournament could have done better.
Lady owner incompetent and indifferent as well.

I'm writing this in response to the recent negative review written by VD. My wife and I hosted the party of predominantly 5-year-old children that you and your son attended.

As part of the party package there were wrist bands available to the adults so that they could be on the floor with their children. I shared this with other attendees as they arrived, but I failed to share this with you when we greeted you and your son.

I like the policy of adults paying to be on the floor once they have signed the waiver. Safety for all of our children is a priority and this policy keeps adults off the floor who don't need to be there, especially when there are small people running around.

I witnessed the moment when staff came in to speak with you. You and I were standing next to each other. I figured it was a private matter, but in hindsight I wish I would have gotten myself involved. I recall thinking "Wow, that's really professional of Austin Ninjas to try to resolve an issue in the moment". I was pleased that they were so proactive. As a side note, to say that you were pulled out of the party is an exaggeration; I saw.

The feedback we received from other parents about their experience at Austin Ninjas was overwhelmingly positive with many of them saying that they couldn't wait to bring their children back another time.

If you paid for anything while at our party, please let us know and we will reimburse you through Venmo.

I believe your one-star review for Austin Ninjas is misplaced. If anything, my wife and I deserved your one-star review as your hosts. We apologies that we weren't more attentive to you and it's a lesson for us when we host parties anywhere in the future.

Attended for the very 1st time with my 5 year old for a birthday party. I was not allowed on the floor with him to watch him unless I paid. He had already started climbing the rock wall and a staff member asked me to wait off the mat. I told her I wasnt just going to leave him especially with a lot of big kids running around. Having parents pay to watch LITTLE ones is absolutely ridiculous and a horrible policy. Great place if you have older kids, not for littles. Definitely will not be returning.
Update: Just got pulled out of the party I was attending. "Is there a Vanessa here? Yea, we heard there was problem or something that you were not happy with?" Wow! Instead of saying "please stop by the front desk so we can address the issue." Getting pulled out of the party to address my review and fustration....very unprofessional!
