Austin Simply Fit's purpose is to create a great community and to help people feel and perform better. We are a private studio centrally located in Austin, TX specializing in 1-on-1 and semi-private training. We offer 30 minute, customized personal training that meets you where you are. In our studios, you'll notice our encouraging atmosphere and world class training equipment.

We'll help you become the best version of yourself possible. Our coaches, certified personal trainers, and nutritionists have the experience, knowledge and motivation to help you achieve all your health and fitness goals.

I can’t recommend Austin Simply Fit and Nick Deluz enough! As someone who had never been to a gym before, I was very intimidated to start going to a gym. When I started coming to ASF, though, the one-on-one approach immediately made me feel welcome despite my skill level.
Nick always takes the time to teach the fundamentals and good form so that I know what I’m looking for in each movement. Plus, he’s exceedingly patient and always in a good mood, so I feel comfortable to ask questions and try new things. Eric is great at what he does! My girlfriend encouraged me to sign up with Eric at ASF after her success in meeting her fitness goals. After going through some injuries and recovering I had hesitancy to push my limits but wanted to improve, finding myself at a plateau. ASF has helped to supplement my workout efforts giving new motions and expert guidance to work past injury. I like that they offer a progression to keep exercises fresh. I have been working with the coaches as ASF for over 10 years now. The first thing that comes to mind is “life changing.” Not only am I in much better shape than I was 10 years ago, my eating has improved and I just feel better. Additionally, I have the confidence to go into any gym a set-up my own workout and know that my form is correct (and I have a much lower chance of injury).

Of course, the best part of ASF is the coaches. They are all extremely encouraging, fun to be around and are 100% authentic.

I have always struggled with back pain and my trainer, Krista, has helped me strengthen supporting muscles (hamstrings, abs, glutes) that have allowed me to enjoy life pain-free! I have been training with Nick DeLuz for 4 months and I can’t say enough good things about his attitude, work ethic, planning and personalization. I have been working out by myself for years repeating the same exercises until muscular imbalances and pain lead to me not even being able to lift. She knows just how much to push — sometimes it’s 15 reps, sometimes it’s 10 good ones — and always makes it fun. I have been going to Sianna for almost two years. She is a former college athlete with a masters degree, so she has the double whammy of personal experience with education to back it all up. She helped me get ready to be pregnant with baby #3, and it was my easiest, healthiest pregnancy, which I attribute a lot to being in better shape than with my first two. I especially appreciate that she chooses my routines with intention and keeps a close eye on my form to prevent energy and maximize results. And besides all of that, she is a kind and enjoyable person to be around multiple times a week. 10/10

I started at Austin Simply Fit in Nov 2023. I was hoping to find a place and a trainer that could help me learn how to build strength in a healthy way that wasn't just focused on physical appearance, and I'm so glad I scheduled that first appointment. I work with my coach, Kristal, every week, and was able to add 2.5 pounds of lean muscle in my first three months. Kristal deeply understands my goals, and does the constant work of creating the plan to help me reach them. Every session is challenging, but I never feel at risk of getting hurt because she is watching my form and always asking me for feedback on how things feel. I am constantly learning from Kristal in a way that has completely transformed the way I feel about strength training and weight lifting. Going to Austin Simply Fit is never something I dread. It's normally the highlight of my day, and that is largely a result of the way Kristal helps me achieve and see incremental progress every session. Sometimes it's increasing my weight and other times it's doing a really good set way stronger than I did the week before. It might even be as small as connecting a movement or a muscle group in an exercise for the first time. Every session with Kristal feels productive and I'm so thankful for the safe, positive, and goal driven space that is Austin Simply Fit.

I worked with Kristal for five weeks. Sometimes, she would go over the time from her previous client, which means she did not start training me on time. It would have been fine if she made up the time on the back end, but she never did. One time she was sassy with me about not warming up before my workout, so I had to warm up, which cut into my workout session. She was mostly nice, but she should definitely work on her professionalism, and START SESSIONS ON TIME. She made sure to end my sessions on time though hmmmm.

I've been training with Brenden for 3 years at Central ASF. I have hypermobile joints which creates instability in my shoulders and hips. Update:
I continue to improve my strength thanks to my training with Brendan. My shoulders are stronger and I need less recovery due to inflammation from swimming. He has also helped with my lower body and core strength.

My husband who also sees Brendan, continues to improve his overall body strength as well.

We both appreciate Brendan’s training techniques, his motivational personality, and the ease of scheduling with him.

Brendan is an awesome trainer and has help me with building my strength for swimming. My strokes and kicks have more power thanks to the strength training he program he tailored for me.
He has been a great help after a shoulder injury and physical therapy took me out of swimming for a while. He worked with me while I went through PT and then after I completed my PT, he worked with me to further build my strength back. I’m now stronger than before my injury. And I’m a much better swimmer. He continues to assist me, tailoring our workout to my overall life goals. I appreciate having him as a trainer.

I like that Austin Simply Fit has a defined system to assess your starting state and capabilities and then build from the foundation up. Although it doesn’t feel as exciting as just walking into the gym and lifting heavy stuff whenever I want, I am shocked at the muscles I can feel working now that I never felt before. Nick has made a challenging program for me that is helping me focus on the mind-body connection and strengthening key muscles so I don’t hurt myself when we start lifting heavy (which I’m chomping at the bit to do). I love that we don’t have to fight or wait for equipment given their focus on personal training as well. As a retired Army veteran in my 60’s I have several stiff joints and pain associated with an active lifestyle. In recent years my exercise routine had faltered, my pain increased, and my level of activity decreased. In addition, I was recently diagnosed with chronic spine and neck issues that are often treated through major surgery.
This past Christmas Kelly reaffirmed just how amazing a trainer she is! Kelly and I worked out together over the holidays and she taught me several exercises and techniques to wake up dormant muscles and relieve the ‘stuck’ joints in my body. I’ve continued performing these exercises and am happy to report that in just a couple of weeks I have much less pain, the numbness has subsided, and I have much more flexibility. To say Kelly G is just a “personal trainer” would be a gross understatement. I have been training with Kelly for over two and a half years now, and she is the only person who has ever managed to turn exercising from a “task” to a “reward.” When I started with Kelly, I had never attempted strength training in my life. While I was an avid indoor cyclist, my body was disproportionate due to the “cardio only” regime I was pushing myself through… leading to issues with my body image and mental health.

Be prepared to work out toward a real, tangible, personal goal! For me, I wanted to ski at the same level as my friends, among other things. So thus our journey began! It's been a while since my first review, but I've only grown to love this place more since then.

I have had a fantastic experience strength training at Austin Simply Fit, and I've seen so much growth in myself while working with my trainer, Kristal Espitia.

In a handful months, I was able to go from struggling to do a single pull up to being able to do 24 in a workout. I transformed from having no barbell experience to having enough confidence to attend their Simply Fit Bench-a-thon event in February. But more important than anything, due to my time here, I feel comfortable in the gym, a place that has always been intimidating.

Kristal excels as a coach. She provides guidance in and out of the gym, giving direction on the tangible aspects of lifting, both on the fundamentals and on the technical details as they arise. She also will guide you through how to maximize results through out-of-gym habits, like nutrition goals, active rest, and sleep patterns. The program she provides can be intensely difficult, but the results speak for themselves. You *will* see improvement, if you put in the work with her.

At Austin Simply Fit, Kristal always provides a space that feels personal and welcome. It has been so important for my nervous system to be secure and confident in the gym, and through her unique experience and skillset, Kristal goes above and beyond to make that possible. There are some training days that honestly feel like time off, rather than a workout, because of the atmosphere she provides. Kristal's got an electric personality and is always eager to make the gym fun and accessible for everyone!

Austin Simply Fit has changed my life, specifically Jackie Tey! I have always been active but never really thought about weight/strength training. My PCP has been encouraging me to work with a professional trainer, and I finally took the leap. I started working with Jackie 2-3 days a week about nine months ago, and I have been amazed at how great I feel and to see the hard work paying off. I would never have guessed that with a great trainer and the right attitude, I would strengthen and tone this 69-year-old body and love doing it!

Jackie sets up a personalized plan for each client. She is very attentive and ensures that each strength training exercise is performed properly and does not hesitate to help me correct my form. I have so many great things to say about this gym and the trainers. For starters, ASF emphasizes data-driven workouts, so they perform impressively thorough health metric assessments that they constantly track.

The trainers are personable and highly qualified. I used to dread the gym environment, but working with Eric has been a total 180. Friendly, professional, and encouraging throughout, he monitors technique and adapts regimens if needed with understanding and zero judgement. He also takes the time to knowledgeably answer my questions. Now I feel motivated and genuinely enjoy my workouts (something I never saw myself saying before!)

I dealt with weight loss issues for years, and after over a month of training with Eric (in conjunction with a dietitian-guided meal plan), gained nearly 5% of my body weight in new muscle mass.

Unlike other studios, they don’t just put you through a standard program, but carefully craft programs that work with and for your body.

I’m really enjoying strength training here so far. Nice, clean, positive environment. A range of ages and fitness levels: everyone appears to be treated with respect. No waiting for equipment, no pressure to socialize—though everyone is friendly. I also really appreciate that I’m not unexpectedly being recorded for social media every five minutes without consent. My coach Niamh has been very supportive of my goals: she is knowledgeable; she pushes me without overwhelming me, emphasizing proper form and long-term success. I have issues relating to perimenopause, neurodivergence, and autoimmune issues, and I feel understood and supported in all of those contexts—which is pretty rare in my experience. Also appreciate that I can exist in a bigger body there without constantly having to hear about weight loss or being pressured to follow restrictive diets that will backfire in the long run.

We have tried several different trainers and gyms for our daughter to train with, none which took the time to understand her needs as a national competitive fencer who was also being recruited by a DIV 1 Fencing college. Our daughter was looking for a trainer who would understand her needs as an athlete but also would take the time to teach her about nutrition. It wasn't until Sierra Nevels at Austin Simply Fit was recommended to her that it truly made all the difference for her. Sierra took the time to understand Fencing and what it takes to be a top fencer. Fencing is a sport that is solely focused on one side of your body and competitions are based on pool rounds followed by direct elimination bouts, so as the day goes on the bouts get harder and harder. Unfortunately as they train for fencing their prominent leg and arm become much larger than the other side which can lead to injuries. Sierra worked really hard with our daughter to help even out the muscle mass so it is equally as strong on both sides, which has helped reduce the number of injuries. Sierra also took the time to educate our daughter on the nutrition your body needs in order to maintain the stamina needed to be competitive at her best all day. As a parent it has been amazing to watch the difference in our daughter as she has trained with Sierra. Our daughter has the strength to compete against much larger competitors, has the stamina needed to continue all day and has the confidence needed to be a top fencer at a national level as well as a strong team member for her DIV 1 college fencing team this fall! I can't say enough about Sierra, except I wish we found her sooner.

My daughter started training with Sierra at Austin Simply Fit in April 2023 ahead of try outs for the Junior National USA team for women’s flag football in North Carolina. The transformation was awesome to watch. She ran faster, jumped higher than ever and the quick twitch movements were much improved. But what was most impressive were her strength gains in the gym and her power and explosiveness. She made the national team for team USA and won gold in final game against Japan. She has continued to train with Sierra and has recently been awarded a scholarship to go play flag football in college. Much of her success is directly related to the drive and push from the gym. The gains in the weight room and improved performance have changed and shaped her entire physique. I cannot thank Sierra enough for her time and investment in Nelly.

Eric has been an awesome trainer for my wife and I. I am recovering from surgery 6 months ago and he has been preparing workouts with my recovery and mobility in mind. I am also training for the Boston marathon and Eric is getting me prepared to run a PR. He is working with my wife to tone, add lean muscle mass, and increase core and leg strength and monitors every workout to assure the weights match her level of progression. He also racks the weight and sets up the next set so we can move seamlessly through sets. Started here a few weeks ago with Matt, and the entire experience has been nothing but wonderful. The gym is clean and (for a gym) quiet. No one is there to show off, be obnoxious, etc. Everyone is friendly and supportive and respectful of where you are when you walk in the door and what your goals are for that visit and long-term. Matt is cheerful, friendly, and pushes me just a little bit harder each time, and even though I can’t see results yet (that takes time), I can FEEL them, and that’s equally important. Yes, it’s expensive to have a personal trainer vs a regular gym membership, but for me, the accountability and the gentle push to always try a little harder so I don’t stagnate is important.
