Natalie has been so amazing as a teacher and as a human being. She encourages her students to feel their way through the practice instead of focusing on the end result of a pose, which is so important in an instructor. In just a few classes she has helped me to open up my energy, and find a nuanced connection with my practice that wasn’t there before. I recommend Natalie’s class for anyone who is new to yoga, or coming back after a long slumber.

I didn't know I was destined to discover my yoga journey until I stumbled upon this studio in Lower Greenville during a street fair. It took all the courage I could muster to show up for a class, but thanks to the kind and gentle encouragement from Sallie I did show up, and now I am discovering at age 65 a deeper connection between body and spirit. We are never done learning.
Don't hesitate to check out their schedule of classes and just go for it!

I can’t say enough great things about Balanced Being! As someone who runs and lifts weights regularly, Balanced Being is the perfect addition for my health and wellness. There are 15 different types of classes offered, and some of my favorites have been the deep stretch and sound bath, yin + yoga Nidra, and breathwork + reiki. Sallie and her staff are incredible! Highly recommend.

There is no better place to relax and leave the stress behind than one of balanced being sound bath classes. The teachers are also extremely helpful when it comes to strengthening your core and really take the time to listen to what you’re hoping to accomplish at the end of a class.

I absolutely LOVE this studio. This place has been a game changer for me. There are so many options for people at all levels here. Personally, I am a beginner. Before coming here, I couldn't touch my toes but a few months in and I can do that and so much more. There are so many classes to choose from and the unlimited membership is very well priced. I recommend this to anyone looking for a holistic approach to health and wellness.

This studio has an incredible variety of unique classes- Reiki, Breathwork, Tarot Meditation, Sound Healing and the Yin and Flow classes are amazing as well. All of the instructors are so supportive, and the sense of community here is like no other. There are also workshops almost weekly. This is truly a great place to begin or continue your healing journey and to meet and be in community with like minded people.

Balanced Being has become a safe space for me. Being conveniently located and having some of the best teachers makes this studio is exactly what the people in Lower Greenville needed.
As someone that has a hard time sitting still, my favorite classes are breathwork and tarot meditation.

This place is magical! A gem among the hustle and bustle of Greenville Ave. If you’re someone like me who has dropped in and out of yoga and meditation throughout their health, fitness and wellness journey, you can find a class or instructor here that will remind you why you sought out this time for self-care in the first place, and you’ll continue to return. Five stars. Namaste🧘🏻♀️

I had the opportunity to partake in the New Year’s plant medicine ceremony. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience. I was nervous about going through a very personal journey with a group of strangers. But everyone was so supportive and open with one another, making me feel completely at ease. Our two guides Jessica and Sallie, were phenomenal. The entire experience really helped me openly grieve and release a lot of negativity that I’ve been holding onto. Whether you’re looking for a new experience or something with more intention either way I would highly recommend.

I’m over the moon to find this studio which started my yoga and spiritual journey in life. The classes are taught all levels by extremely warm, loving knowledgeable teachers who instruct not only yoga, breath-work, Reiki, mat pilates, meditation, tarot readings, sound healing but also self love. I couldn’t wait to sign a membership and explore all classes they offer. Thank you Sallie for such a beautiful vision. I look forward to everyday I attend a class or two. Not to mention the gummies and vapes they offer to help relax and expand your mind! Bravo 🙌 Shelley O’Neal

Balanced Being is a fantastic neighborhood yoga spot. The quality of instruction is really high and there's a nice mix of athletic and more traditional yoga classes. The sense of community is also really strong -- I've only been going for a few months and I already feel part of the chill and welcoming community there. So happy this studio is in the neighborhood! As a bonus, they are also one of the more affordable studios are too.

BBYW is this cute, little tucked-away, split-level studio on lower Greenville. Sallie, the owner, is super nice and engaged. There's a variety of classes, teachers and wellness products offered. A little something for everyone. I appreciate the mid-day schedule since I'm a home-worker. Fave class so far? Slow Flow with Lexi Milam. Class gives somatic, restorative vibes. Intuitive sequencing and excellent cueing. Yes, please.

This is a GEM of a yoga studio on Lower Greenville! The studio is beautiful and has two great yoga spaces inside. It's tucked in between some of the shops so don't miss it! The class offerings are unique with a wide variety that you don't see at other studios (reiki, sound bath, all levels of flow classes and even magical yoga workshops you HAVE to try for an experience!) and all of the instructors are top-notch. Sallie, the owner, has created an incredible space and the community is a great mix of people. If you're new, they have some great intro offers to take advantage of just to check it out. This is such a fantastic yoga studio in Dallas to try!

Daniella’s vinyasa class squeezed the beads of sweat and toxins out of my body! Just the way I like it. She was kind, present and very accommodating. She made sure I was good on my left ankle, right knee and lower right back. Today, my back isn’t sore. The credit goes to Daniella. Please take her class and make sure you talk to Sallie about some alternative wellness options! Sooo much to explore and bliss out to!!!

I’ve been going here for an over month now and it’s life changing. From challenging, fun-filled flows to deep relaxation and meditation, the loving family of teachers here have helped me adapt after some difficult health issues. It’s not just great yoga, it’s a space where you can feel comfortable and supported- no matter where you are in your wellness journey. I love them and you will too.

I cannot say enough nice things about this studio. Right now, classes are small so you get great attention from the teachers. Everyone is so nice and I never feel self-conscious! I love Alex's beginner class on Fridays- lots of alternate positions so everyone feels comfortable. Breezy's class as well. Reiki with Maddie is amazing too! Several membership options to choose from- not expensive!

I took advantage of the free week, and after three classes in the first three days, I'm absolutely in love with the studio, instructors and class offerings. Everyone has been so welcoming and inclusive, and even though it's been a couple of years since I was regularly practicing yoga, I have felt at ease and accepted in every class. The culture and environment they've fostered is unique and feels very intentional. The variety of classes and times has allowed me to choose the class that fits whatever my mood is that day - it's the best! I'm thrilled to have Balanced Being in our neighborhood!

I have been flowing with Sallie for years so I had to check out her new studio. The studio itself is SO beautiful, high ceilings and beautiful decor. I went up to the small studio for a sound bath with Angelyn it was incredible: the ambiance of the room, the cozy pillows, the feeling like you’re in a little tree house, and a healing sound bath, divine. 12/10 would recommend ;)
