About the Club

Jason Inoue - Barbells & BJJ - brings over 20 years of coaching experience to help athletes and professionals safely return to lifting, training, and sports after injuries. Instead of leaving you guessing how to train again, Jason creates a clear path forward so you can build strength and confidence without fear of reinjury. In addition to return-to-training coaching, Jason offers strength and conditioning, online coaching, and self-defense instruction. As a BJJ Black Belt with over 35 years of martial arts experience and one of the few civilians certified in Modern Army Combatives Level 1 and Level 2, Jason has taught combatives at Brigade and Unit levels for the U.S. Army, making his programs practical, effective, and battle-tested.

Jason is one of the best trainers I have ever had the pleasure of training with. He helps you find the desire in you that you never thought you had. He will definitely get you into the best shape possible. I meet and exceeded my goals.

Jason has been instrumental in my success as a middle aged athlete and world class grappler. Between his coaching, tailored workouts, strategy sessions and continued support, I’ve never been more prepared psychically and mentally for high-level performance

The most structured, detailed and effective programming I have ever done when it comes to my fitness. Saw massive differences not only in strength but in body composition. I highly recommend Jason to everyone if you are truly looking for long term results.

Jason and I have trained jiujitsu together for years. He has helped me with more than just technique. His understanding of essential movements and true fundamentals has been a huge part of my BJJ journey. He can help you at any point in your training, from beginner to advanced. He is also excellent in educating you or training you as the whole athlete, with sport specific movement and development. With time constraints of life, it’s great to have help knowing where to best allocate my time. I would recommend Jason time and time again.

Phenomenal coach in many fields! I have had the pleasure of having been coached by Jason in both lifting and BJJ and his teaching style is top notch. He is very good at listening to problems you have and figuring out what solutions will work for you. He is also very patient and methodical with his thinking. A+++ recommend to anyone

Jason provides the best training I have ever received. I have worked with him on nutrition and macros, as well as caloric intake and energy balance for various activity levels. I have trained with him through ACL rehab to sport conditioning, and improving my lifting form. We have worked together to build programming specific to my needs through my evolution as an athlete, and he has been integral to my journey. His attention to detail, knowledge, and problem solving experience have changed how I train, and been foundational to my approaches both in my sport and in supplemental training. 10/10 would recommend.
