BCS Fitness offers prescriptive personal training & small group fitness programs designed specifically for adults over 40 in Bryan, TX and College Station, TX. Our mission is to help you look, move, and feel better with age-appropriate, joint-friendly workouts tailored to your goals, fitness level, and health history.

We keep our coach-to-client ratio low with each coach working with a max of 5 clients so you get the benefits of customized personal training with the energy and support of a small group.
Your first step is a private Lifestyle Consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, medical history, and fitness background, then create a plan just for you.

I moved to this gym to receive more specific personal training for my golf game and to improve my muscle mass as I am near 70 years old. Each trainer I use is highly trained and works closely with areas that I need. My improvement has been remarkable. I now seldom have any pain but only soreness from a good workout. As a working professional with a busy schedule, consistently going to the gym felt impossible. Then I found BCS Fitness. After an initial intake meeting with Brad, I’ve been attending small group fitness classes twice weekly since April. The coaches are friendly, are aware of any limitations I have, and push me while making sure I’m not hurting myself. I have been training at BCS Fitness for 7 years as a member of a small group. I have understood the importance of exercise my whole life and mostly exercised on my own; however, once I tried BCS, the whole experience changed. BCS customizes each workout to my ability level while challenging me to become better and stronger. Their experienced trainers ensure I perform exercises correctly to avoid injury. BCS provides counseling on diet, weight loss, building healthy muscle, and provides emotional support when you hit those slumps. BCS is like a one stop health stop. Since joining, I have lost 35 pounds and have been able to maintain that loss. The exercise sessions are short, diverse, and effective. Three of the 5 members of the group I work out with have been at BCS for almost 20 years. I think that fact speaks to the accountability, support, and friendships the BCS environment provides while working to achieve health goals.

BCS Fitness is a great place to workout. They offer 5:1 and 1:1 personal training. I workout in the 5:1 small group sessions 3x per week. The trainers are encouraging and supportive. Although we are all doing the same exercises, the trainers modifies each exercise to fit the needs of each person. For example the exercise could be pushups…1 is doing regular pushups from the floor, another is doing pushups off a box and another person is doing pushups off the wall. Trainers get to know each person and are able to adjust the exercises to them. The atmosphere of the small group sessions is great. You get to know the people that you workout with and you support each other. Although it is expensive, it is 100% worth it. They make sure you have the correct form and help you prevent injuries. They also help you work around previous injuries. I look forward to going to my workout and have stayed consistent for longer than I have with any other plan.

Signing up for BCS Fitness has been one of the best decisions I have made. I am not a big gym person nor a workout at home person, so the 1:5 training here is perfect for me. Absolute best gym ever! I’ve been going for many years but had to take a break for surgery and as soon as I went back the gratitude I have for this place hit me all over again! Even with small-groups, it’s hard to care about/be attentive to each individual person while still being efficient but BCSfitness does it with expertise, kindness, and fun! They’re motivating and push you to keep up with their well-thought-through plans (which change every class!) without being judgmental if you need some adjustments (which I’ve needed a lot of, and somehow they always do it happily). I’m new to having a personal training experience - only two weeks in! - but I have truly enjoyed BCS Fitness and the Central Studio coaches. I am probably the slowest and least coordinated person they’ve had, but they are patient in explaining equipment and movements to me and encouraging even when I don’t feel like I am doing all that well.

The coaches provide a specific line-up of assignments one at a time that are geared to where I am in my fitness on the specific day. I like that they gear things to me, adjust to accommodate when I am not quite ready for whatever it is OR more importantly tell me to add more weight or move more quickly or adjust my position so that I stay safe and get better results in the long term. I trust that they are paying attention to what I need as an individual.

The other people in my time slot have been friendly, welcoming and encouraging. I still feel awkward (only my second week, remember) but I want to keep going back - and that’s saying a lot as an overweight nearly 60 year old desk-bound woman! I believe I have found the right place to help me take better care of myself. BCS Fitness is helping me get stronger. I am glad to have BCS Fitness on my side.

I have been attending classes 2 days a week for almost 8 months. I am so excited about how my body has changed. I began Ozempic in April of 2023. I lost 25 lbs and my skin was saggy. I wanted to get the sag gone and knew that muscles or more fat were the only ways to do it. At BCS Fitness the trainers helped me begin right where I needed to for me and my situation. They modified my workout in comparison to others who have been working out with them for years. I was so thankful for the focus on my needs EACH session.

I found BCS Fitness just about a year ago, and reached out for more information. From the start, the staff was helpful and clear about pricing and what they provided. I went in for a consultation and fitness evaluation (like a very short workout to see where I was at), and then I started the classes. It's a small group session, so it's not 1 on 1, but it feels really personalized, and the coaches modify based on your skill or physical abilities. I recently started having some back issues, and they have been great about modifying to make sure I don't get hurt. I think they really care about the clients, and do what they can to push us, motivate, and celebrate our wins. The cost is extremely good for the value of the coaches experience, feedback, and the results. I've gained muscles in places I'd never even had them before!

After two rounds of P.T. following a knee injury over a year ago, I had trouble making myself do the maintenance exercises for my knee at home...no matter what recovery routines and home equipment I had available. I couldn't take long walks anymore. I was getting weaker overall. I knew other adults who had exercise routines and seemed to be staying fit, losing weight, and maintaining stamina. But for me, personally, the only way I was going to achieve these goals was with outside help. And I found exactly what I needed and then some...at BCS Fitness (Bryan, TX)!
The results of the body composition analysis I was given at my first visit to BCS Fitness further convinced me of the serious need to do something. It was so nice to be able to explain my health history and concerns to someone who was able to plan a way for restoring my strength overall beginning right where I was. I had no idea what to do on my own!
I can't imagine any strength-training/fitness program superior to what I am enjoying now! Director Brad as well as trainers Nate and Nena are an excellent team. They teach the strength-training skills by demonstrating clearly and individually how to do each
exercise. Then they monitor each client closely and help make adjustments if needed. I always feel like I can be honest with them, and they always answer with something that works! I could go on; but I enjoy being there, doing the work, and seeing the changes in my strength and stamina take place. And the newsletters about things like motivation, balanced nutrition, and outside opportunities are an added bonus as are the conversations with the trainers anytime I have questions!
I see new people join all the time...and I see them keep coming back!

As someone that has mainly concentrated on endurance over the last 30-35 years (running, triathlons, cycling, etc.), I was starting to feel the effects from the lack of strength training as I entered my 50’s. Now close to 60 and a few nagging pains that I just couldn’t shake, I realized it was time to do something different. I don’t really like the gym atmosphere, so I searched for something different. BCS Fitness is this place. 30-minute workouts 3 times a week in a small group is perfect. I get the strength and conditioning my body needs and has been missing and I don’t have to think about the workout. The workouts are set and all I have to do is count my reps and sets and let the trainers know how I’m feeling. It’s great! And the trainers are great and will modify the workout around any injury or pain you are having. I feel so much stronger which allows me to keep participating in my other hobbies. BCS Fitness will help me to keep going into my 60’s and beyond!

I have been working out with BCS Fitness for about a year and a half. Some of my favorite things about this gym are (1) the workouts are challenging, and yet only 30 minutes! This means I rarely miss because I know it'll fit in my schedule. And yet, I'm still tired and sore after each one. (2) The coaches are all so great. They are good people, who challenge me when I'm ready for it, but don't pressure me if my back's hurting or I can't do a certain move. (3) It's not boring - I love the creative workouts. Somehow, every work out feels new and interesting, with new challenges and ways to work different muscle groups. (4) The community of people is great with very diverse abilities. Whether you are a full-time athlete who is very in shape, or someone who has never worked out in your life, you'll fit right in! (5) It works! Going consistently has meant I have more energy, more muscle, and have way more endurance. These people know what they're doing and can do it EFFICIENTLY (30 minutes!). The gym's equipment is always in top condition, and he is constantly adding new pieces to keep things fresh.

The facilities at the gym are excellent. The gym is spacious, well-lit, and well-ventilated. The equipment is state-of-the-art, and there is never a wait for any machine or weight.

I never thought I was a gym kind of person, until I found BCS Fitness. The staff there truly care about and support their clients. They know just how hard to push me to get me to do more than I thought I could do. I love the small group training sessions, each workout feels personalized to my needs. The 30 minute workout sessions are just right, I know I can work hard for that length of time and get the maximum benefit. If I am struggling with motivation, nutrition, injuries, etc. I know that I can talk to my coach and get the support I need. I have been with BCS Fitness for just over 2 years and my journey to better health will continue there. Well a dear friend of mine Tara said it was a great place to workout. I got started on Friday the 24th and she was right. Coaches and people who come here are awesome. Since I hadn't worked out for a year they watched me and modified part of my workout. I'm already hooked and know I will get back in the best shape of my life. Being a 67 yr old this is important to me. I'm not on any meds and don't want to be on any. I love the way I'm treated and helped. You see people of all ages here. I just started going in April, and already I love the environment that the trainers and the trainees provide the gym. You will be pushed physically and mentally, but if you do it right you will see improvements in not only your fitness level, but your day to day life, with better nights of sleep as well. I don't usually write online reviews, but I am so happy with my experiences at BCS Fitness that I felt compelled to post one. I am neither fit nor a morning person, and yet I now find myself getting out of bed early multiple days a week to work out with the fabulous trainers and awesome people at BCS Fitness. To call BCS Fitness a gym does not begin to encompass what they have to offer as they are so much more than that: energetic, knowledgeable, and caring trainers; personalized small group workouts in an environment that fosters enthusiasm and camaraderie among the participants, in a clean, well-maintained environment. As a pretty out of shape person, getting back into a fitness routine can be a daunting experience, especially in a traditional gym environment, but I have received nothing but support, encouragement, and results from BCS Fitness. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I love this place and peeps! The coaches are great-making sure you’re learning and maintaining good form, modifying movements when necessary, and keeping it CONSTANTLY new and changing. There is, literally, never a dull moment-lol!

I also like the positive, family vibe. The small groups are great and there’s a cool comradery.

I have worked out with Brad and the BCS Fitness team at various points in the past 7 years, and I am currently down nearly 70 pounds from my heaviest point in life, from 267 down to 201, currently. Brad provides a patient, holistic approach to meeting your health goals, which allows for steady, consistent progress towards whatever fitness goals you may have.

The fitness workouts are balanced and well-designed to give a challenging and thorough workout, yet adaptable to any skill level and flexible to accommodate any limitations (joint issues, heart problems, etc.)

The nutrition advice is thoughtful and well-researched, and he even provides creative recipes to reorient your kitchen habits and healthy resources to jump-start your fitness goals (cookbooks, supplements, etc.)

More than anything, the CULTURE of BCS Fitness is what makes the difference. Rather than a harsh boot camp atmosphere filled with drill instructor personalities (which I find grating and discouraging) BCS fitness has a communal atmosphere with encouraging trainers and members who build you up and offer helpful advice and a network of support.

By offering a constantly changing assortment of incentives and gym-wide challenges (such as the perfect-10 club, the myzone challenges and the biggest loser competitions), there is a constant dynamic variety of ways to participate, workout, develop relationships, and meet whatever fitness goals you have. It's all but impossible to fall into a rut and go through the motions.

I have tried multiple gyms and workout programs in town, but I have never seen the consistently effective and powerful results from the total gym experience offered at BCS Fitness. It's worth every penny.

I truly dislike working out. I was an athlete in high school, but have struggled to work out in college and post-college because it seemed pretty isolating to go on a run or go to the gym alone. I was used to doing it as a "team". BCS Fitness eliminated a lot of the problems I had with being motivated to work out. It is truly a team effort...without any "pressure" to keep up like in other group fitness environments. The trainers know you, know what you can handle, and challenge you to push yourself. I love it!
