I have been a member here for over two years now. I like the gym overall, it is clean and usually not too packed. However, one issue that I cannot get over is the terrible customer service at the front desk. I am NOT exaggerating when I say I can count on one hand the number of times someone at the desk greeted me or said anything on my way out the door. No, "have a nice day" or "see you next time." They are always too busy being on their phone or see me walk out the door and choose not to speak. I am big on customer service, and I believe you guys need big help on that or new people at the desk. It is very disappointing. Whenever I am spoken to, it has been the same guy every single time. I am not sure of his name but I will definitely find out because I appreciate him. Yesterday was really my last straw it honestly pisses me off. I don't want to assume that this is the problem or even jump to conclusions, however I am usually one of few or the only black person at the gym every time I go. I am not joking that there have been multiple times that I walk in and no one says anything to me at the front desk, but then another person walks in/out right behind me and the front desk person will greet them. I want to feel comfortable and accepted in the gym I attend, so I think its about time I just go elsewhere.

I used to love going to this gym until I had to cancel due to personal reasons. I started receiving charges on my account TWICE a month after cancelling for 2 months before I noticed (I cancelled my membership on February and started being charged again April-May). They charged me $30 twice on April and then $30 once on may 2nd and ANOTHER $64 3 DAYS LATER. Once I noticed the $64 charge that’s when I went into my account and searched up past transactions to where I found the rest of the charges being made after cancelling my membership (I was unaware). I called my bank to dispute the charges and they blocked blink from making any more charges to my account. Be careful with this gym.

I'm a big fan of this location. It's nice that you can view the app on your phone and get an idea of how many people are there at any given time. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. When you sign up, you get a free consultation from a personal trainer, which is pretty awesome. I took advantage of this offer earlier this week, and learned a lot in one 30 minute session- I even signed up for a few more paid sessions.

If there was one thing they could improve on, it would be nice if they had a bike rack out front.

Original review: I've been a member for almost a year and they have plenty of equipment and friendly staff but recently in the past couple of months this gym is under poor management. A few of the machines have been broken since around Christmas and have not been repaired. Today the restrooms were out of service completely which should be a emergency. When I asked the staff when it will be repaired they said we don't know. I guess you get what you pay for $10 a month, I will not be renewing after my yearly membership ends

The gym itself is alright. However this review is directed more so to the Blink company and employees at this location. About 5 months ago I went in person to cancel my membership. When I went in they said I had to pay to cancel. However, their site states if you are moving more than 20 or 25 miles away you will not be charged for cancellation. I asked to speak to a manager and she was working out while on the job and did not come to speak to us. She kept sending her employee back and forth with a message to us. That is very unprofessional and disrespectful to say the least. We then were handed a cancellation card and told it would be handled. It was NOT and I was charged again. I called the gym to let them know and make sure it was cancelled. Again, I was told it was and that I could be certain and rest easy. What a LIE. They charged me for the next 5 months and I kept disputing it on my credit card because this gym does not do their job. I’m currently working on my 3rd attempt to cancel and bringing corp into it. No customer should be handled this way. They have been rude and I have been ignored countless times. Take your business somewhere else. This place is malicious and money hungry.

I was reluctant to join the gym initially because of the area. I went in to tour it and it was a no brainer to join. It has plenty of cardio machines and a decent amount for lifting (wish a bit more). But for the price and proximity to my home I couldn’t ask for more. It a place where my daughter and I get to bond as fellow Lifters ❤️!

It’s a cozy environment, friendly staff the only exception is that there’s not a lot of essential machines and some people are just sitting there texting while others really want to use the machines. Sometimes there’s no sanitize wipes and the trash is full, they also change the hours and close early on Friday and on the weekends they closed at 4:00pm.

This location has friendly staff, all the essential machines needed, I like that there’s squat racks and smith machines, many cardio machines, clean facility with many mirrors. I’m a former Planet Fitness member. I only left, because I moved away from the suburbs. Blink Fitness has all the cleanliness of PF, but with honesty better equipment. I really enjoy coming here. I never feel intimidated like I did at Fitness Connection. It’s the best of both. The staff are friendly and helpful when I need clarification. However, there are no private changing rooms 😅 just the locker rooms.

I was a student enrolling gym for a month for my physical education class which I explained to employees and the employees said me to pick a membership which was $1 only if I cancel in 3 days and if I dont I would be charged $24 which I wasn’t able to cancel because I got covid and I was fine paying $24 and after 15 day when I went to cancel they said me to pay $79+$19 as maintenance fee and cancellation fee which they never mentioned before and said I need to inform gym before 45days of cancellation, i made sure that employee know i was going only for a month and they never explained me the situation too! They made me pay $105 for a month from which i went 3 days…. Very unprofessional and they charge ridiculous for unexplained charges which they never mention while you enroll. Also, they said manager would call me about situation but they never did!!! What can be more unprofessional.

I love this gym. I've been going for about a month now... Its clean and comfortable. The staff is pretty friendly. I go in the morning (6/7am) and its never over crowded, can't speak for the evening... I've been once around 2pm and it was not too busy. It has everything you need without feeling overwhelming so that's cool especially for someone just getting back into working out.
