Blink Fitness has been a huge disappointment. I’ve gone as a guest a few time and I got a day pass and found that the equipment is constantly broken, the gym is dirty, and the place smells bad. The manager is never around, so nothing ever gets addressed. I honestly don’t want to pay a monthly fee for nothing to work.

I also don’t feel safe here. There are homeless people hanging around outside who stare at women walking in and out like peeping toms, and it makes the whole environment uncomfortable. I don’t even feel safe leaving my car in the parking lot.

Overall, this gym is not worth it. I’ll be going to Planet Fitness.

Staff are nice but half the machines are out of order at this location or missing major components like keys. Only one is pending repairs and has a notice. The filter has needed a change for over a month and cleaning

I use Blink across the city and country and this is a poorly maintained one.

Update: almost a year later, the filter never got changed. The bathrooms are broken and so is the AC. They just need to close at this point.

Don't waste your time and your money with this Gym. All the bad reviews are true. After reading all the bad reviews, I told my son not to sign up at that gym but he didn't listened to me so we ended up paying a lot of money just to cancel. I tried to get someone to help me because all those charges were not fair, I went to the gym in person, I called and I even emailed them but nobody cares .

I've been a member for 3 years now. Year one was great, afterwards gym slowly started to decline. Now at my 3rd year as a member, the gym is in disarray. What little equipment that is available to members, has been out of order for months. Most of the equipment that is functioning as intended needs maintenance (torn seat covers, etc....) For some reason they allow homeless people to camp out at the entrance/side of the building. On several occasions I've seen a few homeless people staring through the windows at the women using the equipment. Gym has great potential for the community but for some reason continues to decline daily. In the process of looking for another gym that shows pride of ownership!

The worst gym. NO PINS for machines, They ask for keys & in return they loan you a pin. Equipment should be available for use, Members pay to use equipment! NO MANAGER EVER AVAILABLE. Employees stand around chatting in groups not working. Corporate office should hear from everyone that shares my same experience. Horrible neighborhood, Horrible facility. Never again. So far so good. Really enjoying it so far. Rough start as there was no hot water so I had to maintain membership at planet fitness. But it got fixed maybe two weeks in? Cancelled my membership at planet fitness and it's been great since! I usually go pretty early as soon as it opens so showers are typically getting cleaned at that time and the rest of gym. Which is weird because I always thought they never cleaned at gyms loll. I personally have never witnessed someone cleaning the gyms until I joined here. I've been to fitness connection, LA Fitness, planet fitness and now blink fitness. First time I witness such an act lol. I would see staff at planet fitness moving around but typically just to refill napkins or sanitizing bottles so basically that means the members clean up lol. But as far as cleaning, nope. I would see the staff, well, girl, clean the showers at the gym, I hate being in her way but at planet fitness I'm pretty sure they would never ever ever clean the showers as I would see the same item sometimes in the shower for days at a time. Staff is always super friendly and greets everyone and also as they walk out. Not used to that either lol. Lately though it's been new staff and I was just getting used to the staff. But overall, it's clean, they clean, they greet the members. And I love the fact that there's free weights. Something that made me only check in 23 times a year at planet fitness lol. Again, I go in pretty early as soon as it opens, so its pretty chill at that time. Theres Always a bench press open or a squat rack. Love that. As far as what it's like later in the day idk. I can only attest for the mornings. Don't know how packed it gets or whatever. But the mornings are very chill since I've started coming here since February.

It’s okay. I recently moved to the north side from westchase and I enjoyed the one there more. Everything was always stocked (hand sanitizer, wipes, soap) and here they seem to be lacking. Westchase location was also a bit cleaner. Apparently there’s no hot water for the showers at this location since I’ve been going in (about 3 weeks) which is so peculiar to me— why aren’t they getting this fixed? I’ll continue to go because I like the machines and the amount of people that I encounter, but they need to be on top of their game! Employees have always been nice to me, though. Overall a 3.5 rating for this location.

Staff is pretty dismissive. I understand not wanting to be at work but that is definitely not my fault. When you have questions they give an air that you are annoying them and if you have a question you will have to wait until they finish their conversation with each other. I’ve never had trouble here. Majority of equipment is available. I did notice they zip tie the attachments for the pull cables, so if you want to change the attachments you have to get staff to help you. I haven’t really noticed a problem with teenagers, maybe in the summer and after 4pm. I squally go at 8pm or mornings on the weekends, not too many people or kids. They have wipes to clean equipment, staff is friendly but like they have to cause it’s their job kinda vibe. The place stays pretty clean. It’s an okay gym, I wish they had another smith machine since there’s only 1.

I definitely wish they had heavier Dumbbells, their heaviest is 90lbs and that’s it. I’ve gone both at 5am and 6pm. For it being a small gym, it isn’t too bad. It stays clean, although for some reason I’ve seen roaches twice in the 2-3 years I’ve been going. They’ve had break ins at the parking lot, Afternoon is overly crowded. Crowded as if I’m in a popular house party. 5am is perfect, everyone is mature and not crowded. They’ve had broken machines but thankfully they don’t stay broken for too long. All in all I wish they had more accessories for the cable machines, for the the Carabiner clips not go missing as often, heavier dumbbells. I have two memberships one is here because it’s a

I really don’t recommend this place. It started off really good. Don’t like the fact that you have to go to the front desk to ask for some of the equipment to work out and they ask you to leave your personal belongings in place of the equipment. I understand your equipment is getting stolen but you guys need to have a better system in place because of this I will be taking my business somewheres else. I’ve been coming here since February of this year. When I started coming, the staff was great, they would ALWAYS greet you coming in and leaving. I mean they could be on the phone, and would still at least wave to you coming in and leaving. The gym was always super clean, and bathrooms were always stocked.
Now? You’re lucky if the staff even acknowledges you scanning your membership card. I mean the times these past 2 months that either nobody was at the desk, or even paying attention to who’s walking in, I don’t even have to be paying for a membership at this point.
The trash cans never have any bags which is weird. The bathrooms hardly ever have toilet paper, lucky if it does. God forbid I ever had to shower here because the showers are DISGUSTING compared to how clean they would be a few months ago. I’ve seen this same ball of hair in one of the girls showers since last Tuesday. When stuff breaks, it’s usually broken for a few months at a time. The seated leg curl machine was broken for like 6 months, I haven’t even been able to use it much in my time here. They haven’t replaced any grips/ handles for the cables. When I came there was a lot and now there’s a lot missing, yet to be replaced. You have to bring your own stuff for the cable machines.
The equipment is nice. It’s insanely busy around 4-8p M-F, but any other time not so much which is good. The other members here are great people, occasionally you get that one vlogging person that puts their camera 20ft away from them and get mad when someone walks by (even though it’s a small gym). Overall, good atmosphere except for the unmotivated staff, lack of cleanliness and a lot of other things. I’m currently looking for another gym because the staff is the main part that ruins my experience.They’re always on their phone not having a care in the world. And there’s too many teenagers just sitting around on equipment on their phone taking pictures and videos laughing and what not. If you’re thinking about joining, just don’t. There are better gyms for sure.

going to agree with last poster said and this gym has a massive teenager/ preteen problem who dont know how to properly use weights ; if you look strong they stare all day at you I dont know out of admiration or spite ; the few I tried to conversation with were absolutely disrespectful and rude ; teenagers these days have 0 respect for adults and it shows ; the facility after evening might as well be closed I thought since school started again these teenagers would decrease in number so far its the same kids with big arms but everything else out of shape that come in 5+8 a group and horde a machine Ive timed as much as an 1 and 30 min that get nothing done that laugh and seem to mock the other gym members behind their snickering and laughing Im just here until October but 24 hr fitness is the way to go !

I’m giving a 4-star for the quality of the gym equipment. Bathrooms and simpler amenities could use some serious cleaning. I loved it until I started to notice that the staff members started to show some lack of professionalism. It would often get crowded around 6pm (which is normal). However, for a commercial gym there where too many kids taking up serious amounts of space do record their lifts. (3-4 machines at a time). It seemed those same kids knew some of the staff members well so they were never really told anything. No consequences for being inconsiderate of other people. So, I switched away from this gym. A real bummer. Great gym, with terrible politics between members and the staff. That’s where I call on their lack of professionalism. Not all members get treated the same here unless you know them well.

If none of that bothers you, then It’s a great gym.
