First of all, they deserve a negative rating and not 1!
That being said, beware cuz the people running this are scammers and would harass you months after months!!!
Someone wrongly cleared us on call back in February and told me that nothing else is required. A few months after that they are now after us with a debt collecting agency with a $130 charge !!!
Upon investigating we found out that they didn't actually clear the balance or did the clearance, instead they had been piling up our monthly charge since then and now have tax agents after us trying to mess up our credit!!!
We should have read the negative reviews and believed them!
The manager here is one of the most unprofessional and incompetent person, who will not even TRY to listen and accommodate you. Their number is constantly OFF. We went to the gym today in a bright daylight and they had locks on the door during open hours !!! No wonder they are not functional if that the case after scamming and trucking people!!!

100% do not recommend signing with this Gym… I moved a year ago and have tried to cancel my membership and they have made it impossible. When I try to log in I get a error message saying to email and I haven’t received a single respond. This location is now closed and accounts were transferred to the Northline location about 20 min away. Very unfortunate, having been to many gyms around Houston this Spring Branch location was great. Clean, never too busy, just enough equipment, friendly staff. The Northline location is “okay” but does not compare to the Spring Branch and is also out of the way for many.

I was not given any notice this location was closing. The past few months may of been an indication something was happening - the app no longer working, nearby Westchase location closing, and Blink being sold late last year.

I am sad to see that this location will be closing. It is very unfortunate that we the members are the ones who are going to feel this. It is very selfish on your part to think that everyone especially the elderly has the capability to make a drive out to your other location (Airline). Horrible experience. After my gym in Westchase closed from bankruptcy, I was not notified, however have been continued billing just to find out my gym was transferred without my knowledge or permission. The most fraudulent corporation out there! I went to the Westchase location on my lunch break to workout. To my surprise, the location was closed and turned into a daycare. No written communication or notice to the customers. They still continued to withdraw automatic payments after the closure. I called my bank to put a stop to the payments at the Westchase location back in March. Now it’s May and I noticed that they’re now taking automatic payments from an entire different location that I’ve never attended “Spring Branch”. They did the same to my sister. We called Spring Branch and they’re advising that we have to come in person to cancel… why when we didn’t come in person to sign up for this location? I’ll be calling my bank to stop payments for Spring Branch location and submitted a review with the BBB. This company filed for bankruptcy last year and they honestly need to just close down after all of the fraudulent behavior towards their customers. I loved the gym itself which sucks because the people running this place seem to be the cause for its failure. Save yourself the time and stress and go somewhere else or you’ll end up chasing behind different locations to stop automatic payments like the rest of us. Good luck!

I've been a member of this gym for over four years and have generally enjoyed my experience. The equipment is reasonably well-maintained, and it has been a reliable place to work out. However, the management changes over the past several months have significantly impacted the overall experience.

One major issue is the lack of access to Blink online accounts for this location. Instead, management operates through a Gmail account that is not consistently monitored, making it difficult to view contracts or update payment information.

A few concerning experiences:

Two weeks ago, I arrived at my usual time (around 5:45 AM), only to find the gym still closed. The staff member responsible for opening had not arrived, leaving members waiting in the parking lot well past the scheduled 5:00 AM opening time.

While using the locker room (note I am visibly 8 months pregnant), a front desk worker entered the bathroom, stayed in a stall for several minutes, and left the space smelling strongly of weed (or something similar).

As a commuter gym user, I rely on the showers to get ready for work. Unfortunately, hot water is inconsistent—about 40-50% of the time, it's ice-cold. Despite reporting this issue to the front desk multiple times, there has been no apology, explanation, or solution, just a vague promise to "tell someone."

The cleanliness of the showers is also lacking. One stall has had the same small piece of debris (a safety seal from a shampoo bottle) on the floor for about three weeks, which makes it clear that the showers are not regularly cleaned.

I truly enjoyed this gym for years, but the decline in management and maintenance is becoming hard to overlook. It remains an affordable option, but if you need to use the locker room facilities, be aware of these ongoing issues.

When it’s open, it’s a good no frills budget gym with nice staff and clean facilities.

However it’s been randomly closed ALOT over the past few weeks. Most recently yesterday (and I think today since I can’t reach them via phone) with a power outage but it doesn’t make sense because other tenants in the building have power. My guess is that it has to do with not being able to pay bills. Sadly, may have to end up looking for a new gym soon.

Customer service …TERRIBLE! Blink Fitness taking care of customers and their accounts is at an all-time low. I give it a flat out zero. I recently moved somewhere where there is no Blink Fitness and I was unable to cancel because I had talked to a third-party Business that does their payments online and they said I’d have to go inside the location and cancel and you cannot cancel online, etc. etc. well guess what they still want me to pay the three months and I haven’t even shown up over there and want me to pay an annual fee and they keep trying to hit my card. No wonder they’re going out of business. I would stay away from them and just go to LA fitness or even planet fitness because if this is their customer service, I wouldn’t even bother.

The gym is not what it used to be the prices of increased. I’ve been going there for about four years and I’ve watched the quality of the gym decline from them being unable to pay out any of their personal trainers properly so any personal trainer you get will probably only last for a few months, and now the increase the membership prices without giving any benefits for such increase. As a workout streamer, I am heavily disappointed in this. I met some of my best friends in there and all have left to the LA fitness nearby.

I’m very disappointed… usually this gym is one of the best in the area. However they need to reconsider the people that they hire. I had a really terrible experience with a lady named Kaylha. She gave me the Impression that she is overly nice with specific members of the gym and customers. And I’ve been coming here for a while, and I’ve noticed she usually says really negative things about some of her coworkers as soon as they leave, I’ve overheard her.. not to mention My dad is an older Hispanic guy, and he was simply asking her where the saunas were and he didn’t know. Her attitude was very unprofessional, and I would say borderline racist. I was surprised to see this place become a fitness gym. Looks great! I remember the Weingarten's grocery store used to be at this place when I was a kid, then it became Weiner's (they had pretty cool clothes then) and later the Fallas Paredes discount clothing store. This gym used to be 4 stars for me until they cut their hours (specifically the weekend hours). One thing they do get right is their use of space & equipment. For being a small gym, they utilize their space & have solid equipment / machines. Their staff is also a huge plus! Sadly, the cut in hours really brings this place down tremendously. Closing at 4 pm on the weekends really makes it hard for members to get those workouts in. I'm not asking to stay open until midnight but at least until 7 or 8 pm. This would really give customers flexibility since most people have things to do on the weekends since they're at work all week. It's become a hassle to get in before they close on the weekends which has me contemplating on switching gyms. My advice, check out other options before signing up so you can see what's the real best option out there.

Not sure what I was walking into as with most gyms that offer $1 start ups but with Blink you definitely getting a ton for your money but most importantly you are in a environment that feels welcoming and it looks and feels like a real gym. It is a small gym true but they make up with it by having a assortment of equipment AND real bench's AND real squat racks. They have smith machines avaliable as well. The dumb bell area is equiped heavily with benchs giving everyone a chance to work in that area as most places they only offer a few. A couple drawbacks. 1) their pec/delt machine has this weird design on it that doesnt allow you to get the full range of motion. 2) only a couple bench/ squat racks so if they are in use you will have to wait. Overall this is a great gym very slept on. I highly recommend anyone coming to Blink Fitness

I would've given Blink 3 stars, but there were 2 things that bothered me.

1. Not matter what time I come in, there will always be individuals who are working out or clustering together without a mask. I continuously have to avoid others while I work out. It also seems as though the workers there would rather socialise at the front and not inforce the mask rule to keep others safe

2. The cancell fee is basically a years worth of your membership, so if I want to cancel it'll be pricey

I saw a comment about how the "spanish music was loud" so she had to cancel her membership. This is true, they play a lot of latin music and it is loud, but it doesn't bother me. If that bother you then......... maybe dont go here?

Other than that, this gym has great potential. If it wasn't a pandemic and if I didn't feel scammed by the membership system, I would give it 3 stars just from the equipment and atmosphere alone

I just became a member here after my gym for 6 years closed permanently due to the pandemic. Some machines feels a bit different but hopefully I will get used to it. Gym, Machines and locker room are really clean. Employees... super cool. Let’s see in a few months if everything will still be the same.

Pros: the gym is new and clean.

Cons: no mask compliance by members, no mask enforcement, somebody wore the whole bottle of drugstore cologne during my visit. People stand around socializing more than work out.

I am impressed with Blink Fitness, ( Long Point location) The staff there is extremely accomadating and always welcome you with a sincere smile. The members seem to have a collective goal in keeping the equipment wiped down, and there is an obvious respect amongst them., consideration for other members was blatant, and wonderful. This is not a pick up place, the people are working to better their bodies, and I felt comfortable there. Thank you Blink for providing a place to better myself amongst other like minded, health minded people.

Nice clean gym, friendly staff, BUT today was my first day and not ao impressive. I went yesterday to tour and spoke with a staff member and asked how rhey are cleaning and policies they have in place for covid and she assures me they were following all guidelines. Today, inwas there almost an hour and noticed about 90 percent of gym guests were mot wearing masks . I mentioned to young lady at front desk and she assured me that they would make sure masks are wprn at all times. Be a Karen, but with the way things are right now with Covid it’s important to follow the rules

Started my membership last friday 10 /23 went the first day and 90 % of members not wearing masks.Staff walking around and not saying anything to members not in compliance. I mentioned to one of the staff members and she looked confused and gave me a lame response that she didnt know and that she would take care of it. Today , 10/28 again several members without mask and i literally got off the treadmill and went to metion it yet again to another staff member and yet again this one was just as confused and said she did not notice. I saw her and other staff members walking around and did not mention anything to the members. Next, the manager ( i take she was the Manager ) tells me that she cant make anyone wear their masks! She then had attitude and basically brushed me off ans aid have a good day! AMAZING!! what awful customer service and lack of respect nt only for a customer but for the Covid Regulations that they are supposed to be following.I will NOT return as I dont feel safe there and actually dont care abour the Customers or the Regs

First Visit, I was impressed with the Friendly Staff. Social Distancing and the Equipment is excellent. can't wait to return and work this into my weekly schedule can't beat the membership fees. I would recommend that you come in and see for yourself. You have nothing to Loose and So much to Gain . Glad I became a member.

Es un lugar que los gerentes sólo viven jugando y arreglandose para verse bien no limpian no te dejan entrar si no te checar con el infrarrojo en la frente si llevas tu termómetro no dejan usarlo ellos andan todo el tiempo sin mascarilla y sin guantes si eres hispano te discriminan y si eres blanco te dejan hacer lo que quieras yo cancele por discriminación

Joined this gym June 1st and hired a personal trainer. The gym is always clean and temperature checks are completed upon entry. My trainer is awesome. She is encouraging and motivating.

please get another receptionist, lacks knowledge on gym memberships and doesn’t know how to communicate with people over the phone. Bad attitude and is a little slow, I kept asking about a membership and she kept repeating “only members are allowed not guest” after I inquired about prices!

Low key gym in the hood; very clean & never crowded at least the times I go. I will say be cautious when signing up with an instructor. They automatically throw you into a monthly reccuring plan even if you just want a few sessions to get started. Watch out!!!
