If you're looking for a high-flying family adventure, look no further than Blue Feather Aerial! Our private group, ranging in age from 24 to 61, recently had the thrill of a lifetime trying out their aerial yoga class, and we couldn't be more impressed. From the moment we arrived, Deidre, our fantastic instructor, guided us through each move with crystal-clear instructions and patience.
We soared, spun, and stretched in ways we never thought possible, all while having a blast! Deidre made sure we felt safe and confident in our stunts, and her expertise truly shone through. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a total newbie, we highly recommend giving aerial yoga a try at Blue Feather Aerial. It's a fun, unique experience that brings out the inner acrobat in everyone.
Don't miss out on this amazing, gravity-defying adventure!

I have been to this location before and scheduled to have my friends (a bridal party of 6 which was most of her class!) all attend this class because I had a great time in the past. I emailed the location in advance about the class and the bridal party wanting to attend. While we couldn’t get the entire class to ourselves I was told to have everyone registered together as we would be the majority of the class so it would “feel” private. I took the lead and let the bride squad know.
Unfortunately there was a flat tire which caused a delay. We called in advance stating that half of the bridal party would be late, asked for an accommodation of having someone else in our party open the door for us as the BRIDE was in the late car. Sonja refused and was VERY disrespectful towards us staying “I think it’s rude that you want everyone else to wait, I have a waitlist of people that can attend this class”. “If you’re late, you’re late, it’s in the email you received”. I tried to call again with a question and was met with more disrespectful and rude communication from Sonja.
I was so offended as I have not had this experience in the past, however because of this I will not be returning as I felt as though my service nor the remainder of the bridal party’s service was wanted.
Sonja is RUDE and has POOR customer service.

We are a bridal party of 6 (most of her) 9am class. We experienced a flat tire on the highway and called ahead to let her know that we would be 10 minutes late due to that. She stated that she locks her doors at the start time and would not be letting us in. She also stated that she has a waitlist of people that she could call to take our spots since we would be late and she would not let us in. We tried to figure out some options to allow us to participate in at least some of the class and at every option she refused.
I am highly disappointed in the customer service and rudeness of the instructor. We experienced something completely outside of our control and she refused us at every turn. And considering that we are a majority of her class, she would rather call her waitlist (who would also be “late”) to take our spots than let us in to our already paid for class.
I would not recommend this place to anyone based on the rudeness of the instructor.

I wish Blue Feather was much closer to where I live—I would go much more often. I loved the pretty blue silks, and I appreciated how the instructor (Deidre) was so flexible to allow some “play time” at the end of class. Despite feeling sore afterwards due to all the pulling and tension of the silks, I can’t wait to back for more!

I have been going to see Macey at Blue Feather for almost 2 years now and I absolutely LOVE IT! I love Macey's classes - the vibes are always on point, she is always trying to bring something new to her classes to make them fun and exciting, and she does a great job trying to make sure the newest person in the room feels at ease and has a good time. I have definitely gotten more in touch with myself and my feminine side working with her, and I recommend her to everyone who will listen! I wish she had more classes throughout the week! If she did, I promise I would be at every single one. If you're new to aerial, or just wanting to try something different, I HIGHLY recommend taking one of her classes. You won't be disappointed.

One of the few exercise classes that keeps my attention and is flexible for those that have never been athletic. It is challenging and teaches people to start trusting their body. I have been going on and off for almost 2 years and love all the variety of classes.

I have been going to Blue Feather since it opened! They were one of my first aerial studios I went to when I started my aerial journey! Even though I live a bit further now, I still make the drive! The instructors are top class and super sweet. They always ensure you’re safe and having fun. They also have a cool collection of sustainable athletic wear. Definitely take a class and shop around when you’re there!

Sucks they don't allow children even if they have experience and maybe more advanced that the adults in the class.

I love this studio! Wide array of hammock classes, including yoga, pilates, strengthening, flexibility, sequencing and more. Instructors are welcoming and do a great job of providing options/modifications to fit skill level and individual needs. If you want to get your “zen” on in the middle of the week, check out the Wednesday night Unwind class…shavasana in the hammock at the end is gold!

This was my first time ever doing aerial yoga, and my experience was good and bad at the same time. Let me explain…. Since it’s my first time doing it I was looking for a first time rate or a beginner class (neither were options) you either buy 3 classes for a reduced price or that’s it.
If I pay for a service, I do not want to hear that I can’t record or take pictures (until the end; which it’s over at that point), and while the business has every right to set their rules, this makes it easy for me not to return.
Lastly, as I mentioned before, I’m a beginner to aerial yoga, I do regular yoga all the time and I’m actually pretty good at it, but being up in the air for yoga is completely different than grounded work. About halfway through the class we started doing a few advanced poses and one of them I could not do. The instructor, very kindly, tried to come and assist me, but at this point, we’re now stopping the class to bring all the attention onto me to see if it’s something that I can do and I don’t want that kind of attention on me in a class that I know is not necessarily suited for me, it was too much!

The owners are great and I’m excited to have an aerial studio in the Dallas area!
The classes are on point, the silks allow you to get into deep stretches quickly and get out of your comfort zone by going upside down. It's a safe space and the instructors are so patient and willing to support getting into different poses.
Be early to classes as you need to set up and find a good hammock for your height. They also offer great private classes if you want the yoga studio for you and your friends.
Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

I love Blue Feather! The instructors are brilliant and welcoming. The studio is beautiful and parking is a breeze (once you know where you are going). At first I was very intimidated by the concept of aerial. Now I would not have it any other way, attending 2-3 classes a week! I also find in yoga I am able to try new poses I would never have been able to do without the support of the hammock. This studio is a must try!

I would absolutely not recommend this place for their ridiculous time policy alone. Most places give you about a 5 minute window. I go to the door at 10:31. 10:31!!!!! And it was locked.
It was my first time taking the class and going to the studio. Had a hard time figuring out the parking situation, the elevator was slow, etc.
As a result I was charged with. 17 dollar cancellation fee from Class Pass. I asked if there was a possibility to just attend the following class (which most studios do) and the owner said absolutely not. I have been to classes when a friend has gotten a little too late for the class and the studio just let's them "drop" in to the clas after.
I had even asked if I could just pay the difference of her normal drop-in with the fee that was already charged just so I could try the class. Answer: Nope.
She also suggested that I dont "respect" her policies, which is a crazy response.
It's also crazy bc if had I liked the class, I probably would have gotten a membership and encouraged my friends to join. MY RESPONSE now: Absolutely not.
I understand it is a small business, but this is absolutely ridiculous. My recommendation would just be to skip this place all together. It's not worth the mess.

Awesome class and instructor! My wife and I attended our first Blue Feather class (Aerial Yoga) and will be coming back. Sonja, our instructor, made sure everyone in class felt comfortable throughout our workout. Aerial Yoga was a perfect combination of relaxation and resistance. Also, the studio was very clean and chic. I recommend BLUE FEATHER and SONJA! Keep up the great work.

I am very happy with the studio, it’s very clean, and the instructors are very nice. I was scared at first, but they do a really good job at showing how to use the hammocks properly. All the classes I’ve been to are so fun, especially Macey’s basics class, and Sonja and Diedre’s classes!

I came to visit this studio last fall and never left. Sonja's winsome personality and knowledge of her trade shine through in every class she teaches. Deidre's graceful persistence has pushed my limits and made me stronger. Macey's an encourager and her classes are so much fun you will forget how hard you are working. The studio is small and friendly. If you love novelty or are missing something from your practice; I know you will find it here at The Blue Feather.

It's a lovely studio. Clean, nice space and parking is available.
The studio has multiple hammock fabrics to practice on and multiple classes, including aerial yoga, aerial work for conditioning and very beginner classes to get you start with your aerial journey. It's definitely worth a visit at least once and you may get hooked on aerial like me haha.

I still find myself comparing myself to others because I don't see many like me on the internet and around me. I have to stop, take deep breaths, and refocus my energy then remind me the only person I can be better than is me. Aerial challenges me to use my body. my brain, and trust myself. Deidra was kind, patient and humble.

The Basics class was so much fun. Deidre was kind and reassuring; she guided me through tricks that I didn’t know I would be capable of. Attend for an excellent arm and ab workout and a huge endorphin rush. This would be a great studio class for groups; I’m thinking bachelorette parties and team building. It’s a very cute and comfortable space. I’m thrilled to have this studio in Oak Cliff and will be back.

I had a fun weekend with friends here taking a Yoga + Play class with Sonja! The studio is very pretty and orderly, Sonja was also great at helping guide us into different positions. None of my friends had done aerial yoga before and they all said they enjoyed it. 10/10 recommend.

This is an awesome place-one of the few I
know of in the inner Dallas area for aerial
circusy yoga and tricks. It's a heck of a
work-out too. They offer several different
types of classes from yoga to strength and
conditioning to actual Cirque de Soleil type
classes. They're awesomely nice and
understanding of those of us that are terribly
out of shape or need extra help learning the
hammocks.

Definitely plan on coming back!
Last week they had free classes and aerial arts is something I’ve been into for YEARS but never found a local gym that fit my schedule so when I found this gym even though it was 50 minutes away I had to give it a shot since it was such a good deal. I had an amazing class. Clean spacious work out studio. Helpful instructors. The receptionist is so beautiful and sweet too. I didn’t feel rushed or judged. Everyone who showed up had different levels of experience but you could tell we were all enjoying ourselves. I like the playlist going on too!i booked my class from an app called MINDBODY. My friend invited me and she took about 3 or 4 free classes that week, some at 9 am and some at 12. Different instructors for different times and said tht each instructor did a good job.
