I have been attending Body and Brain classes for about six years and have witnessed some significant improvements in my health. I’ve lost weight and gained strength and flexibility and am generally feeling younger than I did before I discovered Body and Brain. The teacher at my center (Champions) is Master Lloyd. He is an excellent teacher and guide, patient and encouraging. He is a great model to follow in practicing Body and Brain yoga and Tai Chi, and it is clear that he understands energy principles and how they apply to the human body.
Body and Brain offers both in-person and online classes, but I find the in-person classes the best because of the personal attention from the teacher and the shared energy and mutual support.

I love it here.
My shoulder was stiff and painful for over 2 months.
After 2 weeks the pain went down to 30%. After a month of going to the class, my shoulder doesn't hurt anymore.
I have more energy, I feel lighter, and energy flows smoothly.
I also read books from Ilchi Lee to understand more about what I am doing the exercises for.
All the masters here are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
You can fix every problem in your body yourself. All you need is a good guidance and strong mindset to do it consistency and have faith in yourself.
I also love all the workshops. It helps you understand deeper about yourself, and your energy. ✨️ 💯 🥰

I have been dealing with pain, grief and fear after deaths in my family. I have been seeking a healer to help me . Eastern acupuncturist had helped me in the past.
I had made a few appointments and canceled. I fought through my pain and fear, after trying therapy, to go and ask for help at" Body and Brain". After one visit with Master Marleen alot of fear and guilt left. I felt excised of many of my emotional issues. She helped my body to start recovering and gave me tools to continue to heal. Marlene did not offer me a quick fix she helped me to understand and release my body from these maladies.
I have found someone who has actually helped me. I have been looking for a long time and I have found a quiet, honorable, effective healer.

And, even at my somewhat advanced age, thanks to its stringent and scientific approach to posture and balance, and under the unerring supervision of our Masters. It has improved my health . In addition, Yoga has reinforced my mental and emotional belief in myself.
It has helped me become more aware, more often, of my feelings, and how to balance them to my benefit, and to the benefit I may even have become a bit taller. That's because of those around me.
My height has actually increased thanks my Yoga workouts, and/or I feel taller thanks to my Yoga workouts. That's why, with regard to Yoga, in a word (or three), it's all good.

They stole my money. It was around the start of COVID-19 pandemic when I paid
for a series of classes to minimize expenses vs paying for individual classes which would have been more costly. The state of Texas went into lockdown and I was mandated to go out of of town to care for COVID-19 patients. When I returned home the studio would not allow me to complete my classes. The instructor said my time expired and he could not fine receipt because he did not keep a log. I had my receipt because I paid with my credit card. There was no negotiating with them. I decided not to dispute them with the credit card company. Let their conscience be their guide.

I miss this center so much. Its so far away from me, and Houston's traffic makes it impossible to relax upon first arriving. Most of the center managers are very dedicated to providing what is best for their clients.
Over the past eighteen years, my body and brain worked well. Its not the same for me doing classes on the Internet rather than attending the center.

I've heard so much over the past few years of the mind-body connection. But now I've had a chance to experience that connection. My previous blood tests showed that I was in danger of carotid artery blockage if I didn't take care of my body and my nutrition. Thanks to my Yoga years, my cardiologist, Dr. Weston Hickey, tells me that my carotid artery situation has remained safely stable, and the rest on my tests show I have no health problem. He indicates that Yoga has improved my health. I believe that my ability to control my negative emotions in difficult situations, and my physical strength gained from Yoga, have proved that the mind-body connection is real, and that mine has improved through the lessons of Yoga.
I have written the above previously about my experience with Yoga. But now I should like to express how appreciative I am of the courtesy and help that Daniel of Champion Yoga has afforded me in my transition from my former teacher. He has gone out of his way tirelessly to assist me in continuing what I have learned from Yoga in the past. Thanks to Daniel's support and encouragement, I continue to be enthusiastic about my Yoga lessons.

This is the end of my second yoga class. At the end of my first class, the instructor said, "listen to your body". That was a new idea for me.
At the end of the second class, I realized, on some level I didn't know my body would get old. I thought it would always be able to do what I wanted it to do. I knew that I am an eternal spirit, ageless, and somehow I didn't really comprehend my body would decline. I realized that I had been a demanding task master of my body.
My body and I must become friends, and continue our journey together, as equal partners.

This will be my 4th week in attending Body and Brain yoga facilitated by Master Alex and I must say this a great place to merge your mind and body for positive lifestyle changes. There are techniques to increase flexibility using chest and diaphragmatic breathing, increase body spatial awareness, as well as having fun with the other members through social interaction. I define my coming across Brain & Body about 3 months ago as serendipity, attracted by the Tai chi classes to help my back issues and finding SO MUCH MORE, the exercises are great, a mix of yoga and endurance over soft flooring that your joints appreciate. The Masters are great, Master Alex is superb, I greatly enjoy all his talks about health issues and the detail explanations of how the exercises help each part of the body to heal and prevent diseases and how to create healthy habits to live a disease free life. The atmosphere is friendly, clean and all the members I've met are very pleasant and health minded. Super fertile grounds for soul growing. I have a relaxed and happy feeling every time I leave this oasis.

I LOVED the classes given by Master Grace, she had such passion and love for what she did and you could most defiantly tell, they later switched to Master Sandra which may I add was another great addition to the Body & Brain Yoga family and then she left, the classes ARE NOT up to par and you can tell the Master just does not have love and passion like the former masters. After 9 years attending studio at Champions, I had to leave...at least until they change new master. Classes are AWFUL.. No challenge, no stretching, NO YOGA!!! It is really bad. I have been a member of Body and Brain Yoga for about three and a half years now and I love it. It has helped me to relax, get more in touch with my body and become a better, more open, caring and grounded man.
The Woodlands center is my home center, although I have been to the Champion center many times. There is an air of community and peace which I always find refreshing when I walk in. Today I have a healing sesion and what happen next was amazing!!! I was feeling pain in my back and that pain runs all the way to my tommy and suddenly I dont know what happens the pain went away and I felt very joyful and happy.

I was not expecting to experience the great results I am receiving from Dahn Yoga to be honest. For those of you who might have the same mindset as I, it is much more than stretching and loosening muscles. That does take place but more importantly, Dahn Yoga is centered around energy and tapping into your energy. I am experiencing less stress, calm and restful sleep. I must give credit to Master Grace and Master Sandra as they help encourage me as I return for the second time. They offer a sense of calmness immediately and works hard at supporting my individual concerns. Since then another instructor, Dawn has joined the staff and is so patient and helpful. I love the new friends and I am happy that I made this decision to take care of myself. It feels good!

I just started doing yoga but so far it's helped in a lot of ways. I feel more energetic, calmer, and less stressed. All the instructors are very nice and helpful and their energy is contagious to everyone attending the classes. Usually when I went to the gym I felt self conscious but this is a very different activity. It feels safe and like everyone is there to not only better themselves but be kind to one another.

I highly recommend Dahn Yoga for anyone who would like to feel GREAT in spite of their body condition! A recent MRI showed that I have 3 disc herniation in my neck and 1 herniation in my lower back. I experienced pain from my neck extending down my shoulders and arms, as well as sciatic pain down my legs. I've tried numerous treatments for relief.
A little over 3 months ago, I was experiencing the usual pain and was drawn to inquire about Dahn Yoga. After an introductory session, I made a commitment to try it. That was the best decision I could have made. There's different classes every day led by either Masters Grace or Sandra. They both are warm, loving, encouraging and very knowledgeable in guiding us in movements to improve our physical and mental conditions. How do I feel now? With a big smile, I say GREAT!!! The work is paying off!

My daughter and I went to Dahn Yoga to help us build our strength. What we found was so much more. EVERYONE is so kind and genuinely concerned for our well being. Sandra is the best!!! Her instruction has been wonderful and her classes are varied enough so that it doesn't feel like your doing the same thing over and over. She is so positive. My name is Lieu Nguyen. Before I joined Dahn Yoga of Champion's, I was very stressed, had a serious problem with my sciatic nerve and a lot of back pain. My body was so stiff. It's only been 3 months since I joined, now all the problems I had are virtually gone ! I'm so glad ! My body is now a lot more flexible ... no more back pain ...I feel like I'm back to normal again !
The benefits of doing Yoga have given me much more energy, a positive outlook, body tone and confidence. I just extended my membership and committed to another year because the benefits are amazing !

I'm a pregnant woman and I started my yoga classes in the middle of my first trimester. Believe me when I say this is the best decision I have made in regards to the long term health of my baby and myself. Prior to yoga, I was feeling terrible with almost intolerable symptoms. Yoga helped me through it, and now I am 6 months in, and love my yoga classes. It has been super helpful in improving my overall state. Dang yoga has taught me control of my breathing, and improved the relaxation of my body, the insomnia and all other symptoms. I think Dahn yoga is the best place for pregnant and non pregnant women because the staff it's so helpful. You feel at home in this gym. Lessons are personalized unlike those huge corporate gyms. This a peaceful place with people that are really interested in helping you. I really recommended practicing yoga during pregnancy and I think Dahn Yoga it's the best place in Houston to do it!

I have really love my experience at Dahn Yoga Champion. Before attending the center I was very stressed working in the retail industry At first my joints were stiff and my body was not wanting to cooperate; after few classes I can feel the difference. I joined Dahn Yoga a year ago. The Tai-Chi class got my attention and I wanted to learn how energy works in my body. I read many books about spirituality and I meditated regularly, but I felt the need to experience it through my body. I soon realized that I couldn't find a better place than this Dahn Yoga Center! I honestly believe that everybody can benefit from these classes.
It works at 3 different levels: body, mind and soul. First, through stretching and different breathing techniques, our body begins to change. It gets stronger, healthier and more flexible. With brain wave vibration and meditation our brain gets flexible and your mind quieter too. You are getting calmer, happier, healthier and in peace with yourself. You learn to carry on this positive energy and harmony longer and longer, and to spread it to your family and to all the people around you. One year with Dahn yoga made a huge positive difference in my life. I am more flexible than my kids! (23, 15 and 12 years old) My body is stronger, more toned, my skin is beautiful, and I feel lighter and brighter. My mood is stable and I smile at more strangers with an open heart. And according to my sister-in law who is an MD and attended one open class while visiting from UK, “If you guys continue to practice this, you won’t need any type of replacement surgery later on, that’s for sure!” That’s how amazing this is!
If you are ready, you can learn more. And through different workshops you can learn who you really are, like why are you here on the Earth and what is the purpose of your existence.
The centers are a safe and friendly place, where the instructors know well what your needs are and they know how to help you to get healthier and happier and they are available for you at any time. This really is an amazing place with amazing results regarding your quality of life.

I love this type of yoga because of the deep stretching and breathing and the LOVE we give to our bodies and the love we give to others. Traditional yoga is not my thing. In fact, exercise in general is not my thing. However, Dahn Yoga is my thing! I feel better and smile more. It's organic. All of the instructors are great people and exhibit good moral character. I started practicing yoga approximately a year ago. At that time, I was not at my best physically; since then, I have truly increased my energy level 100%: I am stronger physically and although I have practiced other types of yoga in the past, this by far is the best practice for integrating mind/body connection. I truly love this practice. I am more aware of my energy. The Champions Dahn yoga center is the best place to practice yoga that truly is an integration of mind/body/energy work. I met Master Grace very helpful, accommodating and Loving person. gave me free session, gave me aura reading and short healing session. my energy change right away, I enrolled for 1 month. I never tried yoga before I really think going to yoga is funny and ridiculous thing to do, but one day a family member invited me to check out Dahn Yoga Champion Center for aura reading, As soon as I step in Dahn Yoga Center, I felt this Strong Positive Energy radiating from inside the Center. I tried their free session, enrolled for 1 month Classes. But only one session change my entire perspective, before the yoga I feel so closed, depressed, de-energized and very unhappy but right after doing yoga,my energy totally shifted to a new one, whole different perspective. I feel more Happy, Totally Energized, Focused, Inspired and Rejuvenated. I learned to trust myself more, so I enrolled for 1 yr and took their Shim Sung Workshop. I am a 23 year old girl who never thought that yoga was a cool thing to do. I am a very skeptical person. My aunt had been inviting to do yoga for a while before I started. She kept telling about the good feelings and energy that this particular type of yoga brings to your mind, body and soul. I kept putting it aside since I had always said that yoga is only for rich people that don't know where else to spend their money. Anyways she finally convinced me by telling me about this special workshop (shim sung) that they do once or twice a month. So, I joined Dahn Yoga only because of this workshop, but soon enough I realized why there are members that have been practicing Dahn Yoga for many many years. This is a very different type of Yoga. This is about feeling good in the inside and outside, physically, mentally and spiritually (and this has nothing to do with God.) It is like a drug, once you start you just can't stop. The feeling is so great that even if you miss one day you are already feeling that you need it. The staff is like the friendliest staff I've ever seen. They truly care and worry about you. They treat every single member like if they've known them for years, even in the first day.... Basically what I'm saying is everybody who looks for a healthy balance in their life should try Dahn Yoga.

Dahn yoga is the kind of exercise that improves your mind as well as your body. It works for all types of people with all kinds of levels of physical health. This yoga is NOT the kind of yoga where young girls in tight outfits make everyone else in the room feel like clowns as they contort very flexible bodies. This IS the kind of yoga that finds a room full of soccer moms, retired accountants, schoolteachers, business executives, etc. enjoying a different workout each time that is designed to strengthen, stretch, calm, relax, and breathe. I have been practicing dahn yoga for almost three years, and I never plan to stop. Have been practicing Qi-Kung Yoga at Dahn Yoga Champion for a year.
It's been my only place that can let my head think nothing but just stay at the moment.
Before I came to Dahn yoga, I know little about Qi-kung. But know I know the technique to get more oxygen by abdomen breathing to calm the head at the same time.
I love their meridians stretching practices. They are not that hard as yoga positions.
The stretching practices can open the blockage along our circulation system.
By practicing it anytime I want, I don't need to go to massage or acupuncture that often.
This mind-body exercise center is not an ordinary gymnastic club, but a learning center where I can detox not only the body but mostly the mind.
In a busy daily life, go to Dahn yoga has become a routine for me.

Everyone is so happy, calm, polite, courteous, warm and helpful. They maintain very healthy and spiritual type of environment. They hug each other and the teachers/staff promote and add to the whole theme.

Last night, I attended a magnetism class, and I felt the energy of the magnet thru my chakras. I was able to relax my body and calm my mind in a very deep state.
