Unqualified trainer, app to reserve class does not work, bad service and high turner over of employees. One time I had to do my trainer works because she had just had plastic surgery so she was of no service at and could not even hand me the weights during my session another time my trainer had such long nails that she could not put on my electrical suit essential for the service not to mention the suits often do not work and the company is always waiting on parts. The app to reserve a class never worked and I had to call every month to get class. Last but not least when I terminated my service due to poor service they made up a cancellation charge of thirty days ...not a reputable company

I’ve been coming to Body20 for over 6 months and have dropped in body fat and have gained 5 pounds of muscle. I see Liz who is 10/10 amazing. She kicks my ass every single time. I LOVE her. Since BODY20 opened in Bee Cave, I’ve been a regular and enjoy it immensely. The combination of efficient workouts and a friendly atmosphere makes me look forward to every session. I do not like indoor workouts or the gym scene in general but this made me forget all about that. The facility in Bee Cave had professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff, easy parking and couldn’t be more conveniently located at the Hill Country Galleria. I loved the concept and really felt my muscles engaging in my first 3 sessions. However, the location is sometimes too busy and the trainers aren't able to give you the attention you deserve to make the most out of your rather expensive session. I feel kind of robbed of my money, and to top it all off your sessions expire within 30 days even if you're a member, which I had not realized. This location was closed for a collective week or so over the holidays, yet the expiration date was not adjusted.

It wasn't until my last session (#11) that I had a trainer who took the time to understand me, gave me heavier weights, and uped my resistance. There is no accountability or record of clients, you just get tossed to someone random and hope for the best.

I was really betting on this investment in myself, as I couldn't actually afford it and budgeted my money to make this happen for myself. I was hoping to develop a better neuromuscular connection as I have naturally always struggled with my nuerodivergent brain.

This place is amazing. Really helped me loose weight quicker in combination with a healthy diet. The trainers are knowledgeable and guide you with your InBody results. With a busy life, 20 mins of workout was perfect because it was enough. I saw my fat % drop and muscle mass increase. I am able to also maintain my weight now with the right balance and I continue to go twice a week. Having the one on one personal trainer experience who knew the right workouts to target your trouble areas was important to me. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough about this place! My wife was a member for about 6 months and I was very skeptical. I decided to try it for a change of pace and was really looking at it to supplement my existing regimen and help with targeting and possibly pain and soreness.

Now on my 2nd year I am a full believer and it’s now an integral part of my weekly routine. I’ve lost 6% body fat and have gained over 8 lbs of lean muscle. Leaner and my joint pain has significantly decreased even after yearsof abuse from heavy lifting and sports. It's great to be able to up the intensity or decrease based on how hard I want to make it on myself.

Also cannot say enough about the staff. Always welcoming and friendly, encouraging and thoughtful about how you feel that day, what you want to focus on.

Loved the staff. Limited availability with 2-4 spots per time especially for such a high price. Drastic difference in sessions depending on coaches. Didn’t see any progress after 5 months and was told to add cardio. Would be much better if sessions would roll over if unable to fulfill in a month. Especially with limited availability. Ended up cancelling and losing over a month.

I am 130 lb and 5’5”. I have always been an active generally speaking fit person. However during and post Covid I started to loose a lot of muscle and was in a general state of weakness. I was reluctant to work out because I couldn’t hold a lot of weight so I found my self in a vicious circle. I casually found Body 20 because it is strategically situated next to a smoothie shop. It has changed not only my body but my mind set as well. The whole EMS technology along with the well trained coaches takes the whole experience of training for just for 20 mins each session to a whole new level of working out. I truly felt like my experience at Body20 was important to the team and Coaches. I was greeted by name when I walked into the Studio by Tommy, and my Coach, Nate, was very attentive throughout my entire session. As a CrossFit and former collegiate athlete, I was truly skeptical about this. My experience reinforced there is more than one way to achieve results and feel good about moving your body. This is a really fun (and informative) way to supplement your workout routine. I was thankful for all the time and attention during my visit, how engaged the owners & Leadership Team are, and just how clean the Studio is. It’s clear the “experience” is important to this team. Update: although I gave a great review...make sure you read your contract. I had to freeze my account because of covid related issues. I filled out the form & emailed it back and never got a response. They continued to charge me. When you finally cancel-they charge you for a full month. Very disappointed with lack of communication & not handling issues professionally. Be very careful about committing to contract.

I have been with Body20 Bee Cave since they opened in November 2021. They have continued to grow and make positive changes to better serve their clients. They consistently run promotions to encourage your growth with your physical health and give away prizes for doing so. I am very happy with their new management and when I speak with anyone, I feel like family. There are several good trainers at this facility, however, I must say that Danielle H. takes the cake. She reached out to me for a trial before their opening and I had never felt anything like I did putting on their EMS suit. It was incredible. Dani thought of me and my possible interest in their product because she was aware I had been in a car accident earlier in the year and was no longer able to lift weights due to my injury. I had been going through physical therapy and many other things but felt incomplete without the ability to strength train. Body20 gave me the ability to get back to myself again and feel good about getting my physical body back on track. The technology used gives the benefits of lifting without the stress on your joints. Dani was very educated on the body and careful to review everything with me to ensure I got the best experience without further injury while gaining the capability to build and get stronger. It is very rare you find a trainer of her caliber that isn't hired full time by an individual that can afford to do so. I feel blessed that she introduced me to Body20 and that I have had the ability to continue to improve my body with her and several other great trainers that have been there to encourage me. Joey explained fully as I tested the program in April, and he was right! I’ve taken 6-8 classes and I couldn’t be happier. The trainers and staff know their stuff, and my hubby joined also! So don’t expect overnight results, I believe it will take me several months to see reduced body fat and weight loss. I immediately felt stronger, and the in body stats record your progress.

The most important thing to keep in mind when checking out this fitness studio is to make sure you read the contract BEFORE committing. The employees are not trained enough to run you thru it because I received conflicting information about the details from the employee who signed me up.I should've not felt pressure to sign up right after the demo and taken the contract home to read it over. My bad. If you get involved with Body20 prepare to pay at least 3 months. Also important is to cancel IN WRITING and IN PERSON and by filling out the cancellation request form. However, do not trust that the front desk employee will turn in your "in person" cancellation form. Mine "got lost" and wasn't submitted and it's a good thing I checked in before the required date or I would have had to pay an additional month. I would email the manager of the studio to confirm receipt in case you decide Body20 isn't for you.
As for the fitness aspect - I'm not really impressed with all the new FRANCHISE fitness facilities popping up. Body20 makes some bold claims regarding how the 20 minute session is equal to 4 hours in the gym. I highly doubt that. Nothing compares to going to a gym and lifting weights + cardio. I could see this being beneficial from a muscle recovery stand point in accompaniment with a solid weight routine at the gym. But it is very expensive and I don't like the slick, club vibe of the place and putting on the suit is a process in itself. Also - you're going to be asked for a one time payment for the special "uniform" required. I borrowed my sister in law's (she cancelled), because I did not want to pay an additional $100 for the uniform. That right there should have been a red flag that this was not my type of workout facility. The entire experience felt like a big gimmick. Just my personal opinion!

I finished chemo on Sept 17th, 2021, and had been looking for something to get back into working out with. I love that you get to control the level of stimulation to the muscles, to where you feel the muscles resist slightly to moderately against the stimulation. I have been going twice a week for almost 8 weeks. I can feel the difference in my muscle strength, and the InBody scan is starting to drop as I continue to detox all of the chemicals from chemo. The concept is absolutely brilliant, as it allows you to push your muscle groups further than in a traditional gym. When you can focus on your muscles and be specific on where you need to increase the stimulation, that's when you reap the benefits.

I was NOT impressed with this place and I don’t recommend it.

This is for 2 main reasons (#1 is most important) :

1. My husband and I tried canceling our membership because we had a family emergency in PA and were there for several weeks. We were told we had to cancel in person.

What reputable business requires someone to come in person to cancel?! Body 20 was not sympathetic to the fact that we were in PA. Shortly after we returned my dad got sick and ended up in the hospital and then on hospice. He had Covid and both my husband and I had Covid and hence were still unable to cancel our membership.

Long story short my dad ended up passing away. Needless to say driving to this gym to cancel was the LEAST of my priorities

We didn’t end up canceling until a couple months later and Body 20 insisted on charging us for all of the months which was a total of $800 plus Thayer paid WITHOUT using the gym

This is poor business practice

Lastly, # 2:

2. They can only have about 2 people at a time in the gym and their hours are very limited. Needless to say we had little to no opportunity to work out together due to these restrictions

This place could be better with more comprehensive hours and more client centered customer service

I have been working out 4-6x/week for years and years. I have enjoyed weight training, olympic lifting, kettlebell training, HIIT, functional fitness, Crossfit and even yoga. That said, I have never experienced anything as effective as Body20 by the minute. It is the BEST compliment to your already established workout routine. Are you looking to push past a new goal? Are you looking to build strength, endurance or both? Let me tell you... Body20 is for you. I have not encountered full body muscle fatigue like this in years.

It's can be a little intimidating at first. Being connected to several electrodes and doing even the lightest workout is super challenging. Do not let a little fear keep you from trying this out. The staff is amazing and will guide you through it all with ease. They are super in-tune with how you are feeling and increase or reduce the pulse to your needs.

YOU NEED TO TRY THIS. Truly, I am addicted.
