I've been a regular at Boost for about 2.5 years now, and my overall experience has been really positive. I also travel a lot for work and have greatly appreciated their flexibility in helping me find a membership that works for my schedule.
As with any studio, it takes some time to find the instructors who are the best fit for your personal preferences. My favorites are Wendy Traylor, Becky Flechsig, Annabelle Peek, Mallie Lange, and Valina Sefa. What makes them stand out isn't just their great instruction, but also their effort to connect with me. They've learned my name, which makes me feel like more than just another person in the class. I think many businesses forget that creating a community is key to their success, and I've been happy to see how Boost has expanded over the years by venturing into community events and partnerships.
I've seen some feedback suggesting that Boost needs to keep up with trends, but I actually prefer the current approach. The music isn't so loud that it's blowing up my ears, and I appreciate that each instructor can bring their unique style and music choices to their classes. Not everyone is looking for trendy; some of us are looking for a great studio that focuses on instruction over looks. And for the record, Boost has great aesthetics as well! It's also worth noting that this isn't classic reformer pilates—it's a workout that uses a reformer, much like other studios such as Control Studios or The good Space in town.
I have noticed some wear and tear on the equipment in the last few months. I'm hoping this is something that can be addressed soon, though it hasn't negatively impacted the quality of the classes so far. Finally, as a regular, I really value when instructors enforce the late policy. It's frustrating for everyone who arrived on time when a class is delayed for a latecomer, especially of its their first time since the instructor has to orient them.

Wendy is by far the best Pilates teacher I’ve ever had! She provides incredibly detailed guidance in every session, making sure each movement is done correctly and effectively. Her classes strike the perfect balance — challenging enough to push me to improve, yet so much fun that the time flies by. Wendy’s passion, energy, and expertise make every class something I look forward to. Highly recommended!

Liz is so sweet! I went using class pass with my friend and we made a new friend in the hallway before our class started. It was my first time trying this kind of Pilates, I took one Pure Barre Pilates class before, so I was excited to try the reformer. Parking was easy, the studio is beautiful and holds 14 reformers with additional equipment nearby like weights and other things. Liz is very sweet, they’ve been around for 7 years.
We made sure to come with 10-15 minutes to spare before class started so we could sign our waivers and get the introduction.
The workout was great, I was sore the next day in a very mild way, it let me know we worked out a lot of muscle groups I didn’t realize I had!

I’m such a fan! I’ve gone to this studio 3 times since I’ve been in town visiting for the month and I will definitely be back. Stephanie is a great instructor. She’s knowledgeable, approachable and engaging. I also enjoy the music at the studio and how welcoming all the instructors are. Parking is a breeze!

Boost needs to update their ambiance, vibe, lights, music, and playlists, etc. to keep up with the trend for what is now popular and standard at all the other Pilates studios in Houston. This studio still functions like what was cool 10 years ago - all lights on and bright/normal and soft out of date music (radio edition, never any edm/remixes like everyone else does) playing in the background. It definitely needs to step up to the trends or it will continue to lose clients to the other studios. I still come here when there's a time open I need to workout that day, and all the other studios like Duo, Method, Lagree, or HIP are already booked. You can almost always find an open reservation time here, which is not necessarily a great sign. At least the instructors are all kind! That's a positive!

Started pilates last year, been to a few diff studios and this place is by far most challenging. But in a way that you want to keep coming despite the painful parking.
Parking is very limited, they need a private lot or somethimg bc waiting for other people to back out and trying to snag a spot is not fun. And street parking is not an option bc it's full too.
I like the simple studio with no extra things. It holds about 10 people i think which is nice. I hate when there are so many people squeezed in a small space.
The instructors are nice. Their classes are all challenging in different ways. It's not as diverse but honestly i dont care as long as people are friendly.
I think the 4 classes intro classes for a discount make a great way to pull in new clients. And their membership works for all locations so that's what's up.
Overall i recommend boost pilates. I'm hopeful on getting strong arms and toned body down the road!

I moved to Houston 3 years ago and found Boost in a random google search. It was love at first class. As a beginner, I thought I’d feel awkward or out of place, but that was never the case! They are so nice, the instructors never call you out, and the class itself is so much fun! Before Boost, I tried Club Pilates, and they simply do not compare. Boost is a full class of reformer work, with more engaging instructors, more affordable pricing, and the absolute nicest customer service. They’ll email you back in hours, and go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. Seriously. They’ve been so kind to me. 100/100 would recommend them to anyone looking for a good workout and a good time!

So lucky to workout with “Tuesday” today! She is amazing! Her instructions are clear, not too fast, and not overwhelming. Been to different Boost/other studio and very happy today with whole body workout with Tuesday. Although it is a little far from my house in Bellaire but will try to go back again!

I love everything about this place! Cute studios and great instructors. I’m very impressed with the customer service! They are quick to respond to email and text. I contacted them when I had to late cancel due to my dog having a medical emergency. Not only did they give back my class, but they extended this month’s expiration date!
I did a trial class at Club Pilates, and Boost is so much better! The package levels are the same price but you get more classes at Boost. Also, Boost has a more reasonable cancellation window (4hrs vs 12hrs). On top of that, you can go to any of the locations (I go to River Oaks and The Heights) and Boost has way more class times to choose from.
In the future, I would love to see them get an app to make signing up for classes more efficient!

The best Pilates studios in Houston. I was never been consistent about working out, but boost has changed me. This is the hardest work out I’ve ever done but I have been coming consistently for a year and I’m hooked. The instructors are wonderful and always providing new moves and are so conscientious about modifications to accommodate all skill levels.

As a first time PIlates goer, I did not know what to expect, but let me tell you this class was tough! The instructor Elissa was fantastic. She was extremely helpful and motivating, also spoke with clear instructions and reference points.
The facility was extremely clean and the parking was easy to manage. Every single part of the experience was positive.

I can’t say enough great things about Boost. I had my first class with them a year ago and I’ve gone back 1-2 times a week ever since. All of the instructors are amazing and I get noticiable results after every class! Another huge bonus point is how responsive they are when I need changes to my class occasionally. I can say for a solid year I’ve had nothing but impeccable customer service. Highly recommend!

This is more a pilates fusion class. It's basically a work out using the pilates machine. No focus on form or breathing. Not classical pilates at all. I feel that should be more transparent. It also seemed the instructors aren't as qualified as other studios. Someone who has been to a true Pilates class would he disappointed by this. But if you're just looking for a workout that happens to use the reformer than this could he for you.

I have tried five different Reformer Pilates studios in Houston and (while they are all good), Boost is by far my FAVORITE!! I was hesitant to return to pilates after a knee injury last year, but each instructor has been able to modify certain moves for me during class, to avoid further injury or pain to my knee. I still get a killer workout (legs shaking in every class!) but without the pain. Also, I am typically very picky about instructors, but I will sign up for anyone here, because I've had great experiences with everyone so far. Boost River Oaks has become my go-to pilates studio!

Boost Pilates is the absolute best! I used to go a ton of yoga but like how with reformers you get a different type of workout and I noticeable results! Everyone is so kind there! They are great with first timers of Pilates. The machines are in great condition, and the instructors really do a good of mixing up the routines are the reformers. Abby is my favorite instructor but they are all great! Parking is easy at the river oaks location as well.

Boost Pilates is honestly the best Pilates studio in Houston. The quality of the studio in general is very high. Their reformers and studio space are great and new. I was on ClassPass for a while trying to find studios I would like and kept coming back to Boost so often I dropped ClassPass in favor of a monthly autopay membership.
I enjoy their reformers, particularly the ones at the River Oaks and West U location, I like the interiors and the times offered on their schedule. I appreciate I can go to any studio. At times parking can get difficult at the River Oaks location, but the instructors are understanding and being slightly late doesn't materially change that you're going to get a good workout.
The instructors are excellent. Each one brings a different routine and challenge level. Just because one instructor uses lighter spring levels doesn't mean the workout will be easy. Sometimes those are the most difficult.
Some of my favorite instructors (I'm listing the ones in which I've attended at least 10+ classes are): Liz, Nancy, Morgan, Devon, Andrew, Ashley, Nicole, Nathan, Isabella (if she's in town).

Boost Pilates is hands down THE best studio I’ve been to in Houston! The place is clean and simple, has all the equipment you need, filtered water fountain and a place to put your stuff. All the instructors are great.. I’ve never had a bad class! It's challenging but not impossible. The instructors walk around the class regularly to make sure everyone is doing the correct exercise (this alone puts this studio ahead of its competitors!). One of the biggest attractions to this place is that the class sizes are small. The limited number of reformers allows for a more personal experience. They also have classes almost every hour so you're sure to be able to get your workout in.
PROS: clean, spacious and new studio, awesome music, knowledgeable instructors, positive vibes, ample parking, Allegro2 reformers

I love coming to Boost for a good workout. I have taken classes with Gracie & Isabella and they make you sweat your butt off! I have taken pilates before but Boost is a great addition to the Pilates in Houston with their chic modern interior and white allegro machines. The instructors are motivating and overall can’t get any better than this. Management is very flexible and very understanding with the busy work schedule - and if you cannot make it just call and plead for forgiveness and credit shall be granted. I’m guessing you can’t abuse it but worked once for me :) I am looking forward to trying classes with different instructors as well!
