Madison did a great job with Sydney today. She was very attentive at coaching her on working on some areas that she needs to develop in Turtle 1. I love how she kept all the kids engaged and had the entire class participating in each step (while sitting on the pool edge) at the same time while working with each student individually. The instructors at British are so good with kids and make each lesson fun while still instilling water safety and core techniques of swimming.

UPDATE: 10 months in and we still love it. One kiddo is now swimming at the highest level, and considering swim teams. The other is making steady progress with her water survival skills and is truly comfortable and happy in the water. This is the place to take your kids to learn to swim!

My kiddos have made more swimming progress in two months than they did in two years at another local swim school.

Their building block approach and consistency in application makes my kids comfortable and confident in the water. Additionally, missed classes are very easy to reschedule and there are no arbitrary expiration dates for missed class tokens.

Overall, I highly recommend British Swim School and the Grand Prairie- Arlington instructional team. My kids love their swim lessons and they are safer in the water.

My 7 year old son started swim lesson at British swim school In May of 2025. Mr.Josh has taught our son so much! Josh is kind, patient and encouraging with our son, He is floating on his back and back stroking across the pool now. He has gained so much confidence in the water since we started. Our son passed his swim test at Summer camp this summer for the first time due to his lessons at British Swim school. All of the instructor’s are kind and patient with the students and the customer service is top tier, we feel like we are part of a family here and hope to continue through all the levels.

Teaching your kids to swim early is one of the best gifts you can give them. Even though I could swim, I had a near-drowning experience in a pool as a teen, so I know how important confidence and skill in the water can be.

This program does a great job creating a supportive, well-structured environment where kids can learn and grow. It’s thoughtfully run and genuinely focused on helping kids feel safe and capable in the water.

100 percent recommend . My daughter came from another swim school nearby and I have seen a big difference on her first day.
The attention your child gets is incredible . The way they even make it fun to keep them entertained is a plus. Her previous school was good but it varied depending on what instructor they had…

We have had a wonderful experience with British Swim School! From the enrollment process to our first lesson, the customer service and communication have been exceptional. The entire staff—Sara, Kelly, Janelle, Josh, Zakiyyah, Kylie and Greg - are always friendly, smiling and helpful, and they respond to questions promptly via text. If I could give 10 stars I would, British swim is amazing. My daughter is autistic/special needs and works with Kelly twice a week and is already showing so much progress in the water, she’s now floating on her back on her own in the water. Very comfortable with the water. I love the fact that they offer a class for kids of all ages and special needs. I would definitely recommend.

Since I enrolled my son I have seen consistent improvement class after class. All the instructors make him feel confident in the water and celebrate every achievement . He was able to get in and out of the pool safely in 2 classes and has since moved up a level. We enrolled in December and as a bonus, I received 4 extra classes. They make all the difference and I’m sure to keep it at 2 classes per week. I have had my son enrolled in a different swim school before and I can honestly say British Swim School is the best.
