British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside LA Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Kudos to British Swim School—Northwest Central Houston! My daughter started classes a month ago and has gained so much confidence in the water. Her instructors are fabulous with kids and make swimming fun. Mostly importantly, they not only teach my daughter how to do each technique, but they explain why it is so important for swim safety. British Swim School—Northwest Central Houston is a gem!

I had an amazing experience with British Swim School! It can be intimidating to learn how to swim as an adult, but Amber and team make everyone feel comfortable with the process from end-to-end. They were responsive, listened to my concerns and really listened to my goals. I saw a lot of parents take classes alongside their children, which I thought was an incredible opportunity. I highly recommend this program to EVERYONE. I am very excited to enroll my kids in the program as well.

We have not been going for very long, but we are having a great experience with British Swim School for our daughter! She went from having a fear of being in the water to having an absolute blast. She still is very much a beginner, but I can tell she is already picking up skills, and she is talking about swim class often. We've already come a long way in just a few weeks and are eager to keep going so our daughter builds competency and confidence in the pool!

Amber’s British Swim School has been an answered prayer!! We have tried every swim school and have finally found our school that has made all the difference…what a breath fresh air to see the children nurtured with love in teaching the beauty of swim!! I cannot say enough positive things about British Swim School!
