British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside of LA Fitness, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

I have been bringing my daughter to British swim school before she could even walk, she is now a 7 years old and a Turtle 2 🐢 learning how to swim has given her so much confidence in the water, she is having fun while learning skills that could possibly save her life. I recommend this school to anyone who is looking to get their kids to learn how to swim, all instructors are super patient and nice with kids, they are all super skilled and are great a teaching kids, they make even the most scared kid be confident in the water! Give it a try you won’t regret it! This school is worth every penny! Tania and Gabby have been our teachers here and I can’t recommend them enough super professional! 🙏

I am not ok with them having swim lessons in the gym pool. They are bringing non members, especially children, into the gym pool. Members have 1 lane to swim while the other lanes are blocked off for hours. Yesterday, I got out of the pool and saw hallucinated waves about 30 minutes to an hour after exiting the water. Drinking water tasted like pool water as well. They said this might be an effect of swimming from being in the water at the same time as their classes. They may be putting something into the water to counter extra contaminants. I have never had this happen before. They should offer classes at a public location, not a place with private memberships. The students are not members.

British Swim School, have dedicated staff members. They know their craft and always professional. The place is clean, it's worth the price. My daughter loves the place. She started swimming 2 years ago and still enjoys. To all the staff, management keep on shining and thank you.

I have tried every other swimming teaching classes in the area but hands down British swim school is the best. They have worked with all my 3 kids to become confident swimmers. Jason and his team has been super flexible and have been very supportive. They know how to work with the kids . Especially Gabby . She has been amazing to work with.

Turtle 1 is a hard level.The instructors pay attention to every kid's skill level and teach accordingly.The instructors are patient and not rush.My kid is showing good improvement.Great place to send kids for swimming.

We love taking our son to British Swim School Irving location. Gracie is the best swim instructor here. She’s helping our son grow more confident being in the water. After getting Gracie as an instructor he loves to go to the swimming classes and he is happy too. She knows how to handle kids in the pool, she is such a energetic instructor. we’ll continue bringing him here in the future!

My daughter joined the class in March 2022 in Turtle 1 and she has done a great progress and I can say BSS has done an incredible job in terms of tracking the progress of my kid and evaluating them at right times and moving them up to next level. I can see her progressing and learning in new level and I wish I had BSS at the new place that I will be moving in. Swimming is a life skill and it also develops agility and you need to have best people teaching you, I would definitely recommend BSS for their swim lessons.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I was a little apprehensive in the beginning but my daughter picked up fairly quickly with the help of teaching staff. Scheduling absences and make ups via online made it very convenient for parents.

My two nieces (4 and 6) have been going to different locations with British swim school for a year. Whenever I brought them over, they always had a good time with the kids and instructor. The instructors here are the best. They are very good with kids. They also communicate well with parents. Making up classes and rescheduling are very easy with them. My nieces have made great progress and become more confident in water. Our whole family is satisfied with it. Highly recommend.

My 8 yr-old daughter started to learn swimming here. She really loves it. All instructors are professional and very caring for the kids. They adjust the lessons and move the kids to the next level when they are ready. My daughter was afraid of water when we started. But now she can swim freely in the water. We will definitely have more fun this summer when we go back to Thailand! Highly recommend British Swim School.

Few good teachers in there. Some of them keep checking time while the class is going on. One of the lady in the shower room tells me to calm my 2 yr old down as she finds it annoying to hear her cry. I told this to staff and they didnt say a word for support. They just told me that iam not supposed to use the locker rooms . We have rules everywhere but its also important to use a little bit of human side rather than being rule based machines!

The instructors are great! They work well with children and the classes are small. There typically is only my daughter and one other child in her class but never have there been more than my daughter and two others. She went from being afraid to swim underwater to swimming like a fish in no time! We have been coming now for 7months just because she love it! Swimming has now become her thing. They are great at teaching more advance swimmers to work on their technique.

Instructors in this school are really awesome and are kid-friendly. They focus on each individual to detail and work with each kid depending on their needs on how to deal with the difficult strokes and fear. My child likes to go to British swim school everyday if classes are available.
