Let’s talk about it.. I was really excited about working with Roy. I started 4/3/25. Until recently. He has canceled my sessions two hours prior to me showing up. He has canceled a total of 4x since I started. I accommodated all his last minutes, changes, and wanted to push my time back, which I couldn’t because of my tight schedules, so I had to do make up days frequently. Due to my work meetings being on Thursdays I immediately switched my days to Friday and Saturdays that’s my off days. He agreed but throw it in my face as if he doing me a favor. It’s your business if those days didn’t work for you, he should’ve said no from the beginning. But he agreed. Bottom line I got tired of him wanting to reschedule my sessions or wanting to push them back. I pay 165.00 every 2 weeks which is 330.00 a month. My sessions are my sessions. My days are my days. Already had to deal with the fact he saying I was only paying 165.00 for 6 sessions, which was a lie, basically saying he was under charging me. Which was a lie. I brought proof to him. I was side eyeing him since then. I’m not going to say he wasn’t a good trainer. He’s inconsistent with my time being at the gym, if it
wasn’t being canceled or being a make up day. If it’s MY business no clients is going to run it. So if I inconvenience you, you should’ve stated that in the beginning. You didn’t you approved the times so why complain about it! My opinion is my opinion and you have been inconsistent. Being in business for 19 years has nothing to do with inconsistency. You send me numerous of text messages when I asked you to stop. I accommodated all your reschedule and days. I went out of town you knew a month in advance so now you’re acting brand new. As a business owner who goes back n forth with a client trying to prove a point when the proof is there accept it and move on. Just do better with people time because they’re paying customers. You want your money and they want there sessions. And the last text messages you sent 6/8/25 stating I was a angry person and you got cameras when I was coming to see you on a MAKE UP DAY I just work 12 hrs so I was exhausted that’s why I moved my day back. Clearly you don’t know me. Our sessions 30 minutes I’ve never came in there with an attitude. At this point you’re saying anything now. Do better!!

I was way out of shape when I started coming (200 lbs). But, with Roy's training sessions, I'm in some of the best shape I've ever been in. I have more energy when I run, I can bench more than I could. Overall, the difference between me when I started and me now is drastically clear. Roy has been taking care of my training over the past few months. He pushes you the amount you need and then some, all the while making sure you don't injure yourself or aggravate any pains. I've used personal trainers before and it's usually the same workout for each muscle group time and time again. Roy is different. I've been going for over 2 months and I don't think we've ever repeated a workout. For someone like me that doesnt really enjoy working out he definitely keeps it interesting! He knows exactly how to target specific muscle groups. For example, it's not just "leg day" it's "front of the leg and outside of calf day today". We've worked muscles I didn't even know existed. On top of that, he's just a good guy. He works with your schedule and is very accommodating. No contracts and good prices so you should definitely check him out.

I trained here for a little over a month. Very nice guy and he has his own gym. Prices are reasonable as well. Didnt work out for me because I really needed a lot of help with nutrition/meal prep. He says he will help you with that but i really didn't get a lot of help with that. I was supposed to be losing 1 to 2 pounds a weeks but for the month I was there I didn't lose a pound. I would have stayed if I were seeing results and getting more help on what foods to eat. He pretty much just took a screen shot from a nutritionist Instagram page and sent it to me, which I thought was a little unprofessional. Other than that he is extremely nice just didn't work out for me.

My wife and I found one of the best gym and trainer in Arlington. When ever we leave the gym we feel the burn, our instructor worked every muscle, which has rendered positive results. Roy was very attentive, knowledgeable and displayed a genuine interest in helping us obtain our health goals. My wife and I look and feel amazing, we are very please with our experience here at BTF training . The gym environment is phenomenal; it is very immaculate, has several equipment to work with and the customer service is excellent. You will not be disappointed with your experience here. If you are looking for a personal trainer contact Roy. He is very professional at all times. He customizes a program to your specific need. He is hard, tough and he does have any sympathy- everything you need to get fit. He is serious about training and your diet! He is going to explain the equipment and the results you can expect from training. He motivates you to be a “better you”. He’s right there with you to help you reach your goals. He is persistent...he turn “I can’t” into you can and you will. And you do, amazed at some of things I accomplished.

I trained with Roy for about 2-3 months during the summer before heading to college. I can honestly say I was in the best shape of my life during this period. Roy does an excellent job at gauging your fitness level and developing a workout plan based on your specific goals and ability. Roy placed a great emphasis on proper form while lifting in order to prevent injury and continually helped me improve my technique while training. He also aided in the development of a diet plan and educated me on how to monitor my diet to meet my daily caloric needs. Even after the period I trained with Roy, I still continued to utilize the workout/diet tips he taught me to make long term changes in my physical fitness. He's very flexible and willing to work with you to help you achieve your goals.

I trained at BTF for one year, and I NEVER did the same workout twice. Never. I had not worked out for a long time, so I gave myself one year with a personal trainer to get back into it, and that is exactly what Roy at BTF did! I regained my “workout confidence” and learned what I could and couldn’t do. I even severely rolled my ankle about halfway through my year, and Roy knew exactly how to make adjustments and work around it so I didn’t have to stop working out again. I highly recommend this place! You will work hard but you will never be bored!
