It has been a great please to go to yoga at Buen Camino. I live near by and I love that I can walk to Casa de Luz and go to a yoga class. Lisa and the other teaches are really, really great and the space is amazing.

Found this gem while seeking out a yoga class that was nearby and offered classes that where flexible to my schedule. I was welcome with open arms and good vibes. I highly recommend taking Sarah's Friday Kundalini class. You will leave class rejuvenated and with a new sense of being .

Such a beautiful and intentional place to practice yoga. The teachers care for you and want to create a space that helps you cultivate a deeper, more meaningful connection with yourself. I’m grateful I found this studio

The classes with Buen Camino Yoga have always been so wonderful, restorative, and a pure delight to participate in. I have only had the pleasure of working with one of their instructors, Lisa, but she has always made me feel welcome and her classes are always amazing! I never fail to feel much better than I entered after participating in one of her classes! The location is great (it’s at Casa De Luz) and I can honestly say it’s one of the better yoga experiences I’ve had in Austin. I will absolutely advise everyone to check them out and see what amazing classes they have to offer! <3

Great locations, beautiful setting and high level teachers offering classes in the evenings. It's accessible to South Austin and downtown. There are so many corporate, homogeneous yoga studios that it's nice to know in South Austin we still have our local gems like Buen Camino Yoga.

This spot is so cute!! The area perfectly sets the mood for an intense yet relaxing yoga class. Nikita is the best instructor and takes care to explain all the positions and show modifications when needed! 10/10 recommend!

Incredible, really special place. A great transition for anyone looking for a little extra attention or help with the fundamentals, or perfect for folks who are tired of the corporate/hectic yoga options near downtown.

I came to Austin and fell in LOVE with Buen Camino Yoga and Casa de Luz. When I first walked in, I was mystified by the calmness of the space. I walked to the restaurant and got a delicious gluten free vegan meal!! After when I was looking around I saw the offerings of Buen Camino Yoga. I called the number and spoke with Lisa who was so beautiful in welcoming me to take a class even though I didn't have a mat! After I took that morning flow with Lisa, I went back the next 2 days I was in Austin and took 5 classes total at Buen Camino, I was obsessed. The yoga instructors are amazing and the classes are so diverse. To anything from kundalini to vinyasa flow to a class accompanied by live music. Overall, I cannot say enough about Buem Camino Yoga and Casa de Luz as a whole. The people and experiences truly impacted me and I cannot wait to return.

Buen Camino Yoga is a fabulous yoga studio in one of the nicest recreation
areas in Austin, only two minutes away from the Town Lake. Walking into the Casa de Luz village makes you feel like entering a spiritual retreat in Bali
or somewhere else in Asia! The village atmosphere with healthy food and precious people makes it a charming visit whenever you go. The interior of the yoga studio itself is beautifully decorated for a relaxing experience. *Clearly the best of all is the founder of Buen Camino Yoga and teacher Lisa*: she is an amazing person and enchanting leader, who puts all her heart into this studio. She can adjust the yoga level perfectly to the experience of different participants. Lisa is very talented in helping each individual to improve in the area that he/she needs the most. Given her great network, she organizes joyful events like the Fall Fest and has recruited further excellent yoga teachers, which allows for a great variety. Having moved from far away to Austin, Buen Camino Yoga always felt like a second home to me!

I walked into Buen Camino Yoga and felt in paradise! I met the founder and lead instructor, Lisa, who was teaching the class. She’s a great instructor with a strong background in yoga and a lot of care for her students. The Buen Camino community is so special and I’m happy to be apart of it ☺️

I discovered Buen Camino Yoga at the brilliantly orchestrated Fall Fest. From the moment I met Lisa and Nikita, I knew I had found a special yoga community. I signed up for the month membership right then and there. Little did I know just how rewarding this decision would be. Each week, I look forward to many of the classes held in this sanctuary including Monday’s Breath work/Sound Healing class and Friday’s Kundalini. The instructors - Adrienne and Sarah are incredibly knowledgeable in Kundalini AND infuse humor, authenticity and freshness into their classes. I really feel lucky to have Buen Camino Yoga as my yoga studio.

I have been attempting yoga on and off for many years - virtually all off as I never really had a great (or even good) experience. That changed with Lisa's class at Buen Camino. She is an encouraging, and helpful instructor with a nice program for all abilities. Unlike the numerous other yoga instructors I have taken classes from, she add a mental aspect to the workout which is nice. The atmosphere is beautiful.

Last night, I shared a very special experience through attending the 6pm Vinyasa Yoga class hosted by Lisa.
I had been gifted some hape (sacred tabacco + ash administered in the nasal cavity to clear the sinuses, pineal and to flush/stimulate the lymphatic system) upon entering, and so was extremely present in my body.
I was so warmly accepted and welcomed into taking my time with moving as slow as my body was guiding me to, as I needed with myself- throughout the entirety of the class.

Lisa is a very warm, humble and heart centered instructor- who took the time to conduct a spoken exercise to break away from the ego before really getting into the deep stretches- making it available to connect deeper with Self. This was much appreciated here.

One of Lisa's first statements was that she guides organic movement- this had an incredibly strong resonance with me- since at this part of my journey, I am anchoring deeper into the body and less into the mind.
Thank you Lisa!
Thank you Buen Camino Yoga!
Thank you Casa De Luz!

What a beautiful sanctuary for World Travelers, Soul Centered Yogis of all ages, Seekers, Authentic Connections, Resources, Healing, Nourishment and famila de Guatemala. Gracias para todo!

I come here for West African dance on Saturdays, and I love the atmosphere! Casa de Luz is a beautiful little haven with friendly and welcoming staff. And if you're into vegan food, try the restaurant. I've only eaten there a couple times, but the food is fresh, colorful, and made with love.

I absolutely love Buen Camino Yoga. The studio is beautiful and the sense of community is palpable from the first class you take. Lisa is a wonderful teacher of Vinyasa and great at explaining poses, while also making you feel like you can explore whatever your body needs at that time. Whether it be switching off from the day or just relaxing and rejuvenating, I can't say enough about the benefits of checking out Buen Camino. I've also been to classes w/Deuce, Mandy and Nikita and they are all great!

The space here is beautiful. Nestled in Casa de Luz village, these yoga studios are state of the art and just feel so good to be in.

Lisa is a PHENOMENAL yoga instructor. She has a soothing, maternal energy that makes you feel so comfortable and not take yoga so seriously which is unique I think for yoga instructors.
She also breaks down poses and transitions technically which is another hard thing to find in yoga instructors.

A fantastic program for anyone wanting the yoga experience. I was novice when I first walked into the door and met Lisa for the first time. She was patient with me and her kindness and outward glow made the experience life changing for me. She was very instrumental in my restart of life that God had put before me. I would totally recommend this studio and Lisa to anyone at all levels.

The first time I attended yoga at Buen Camino Yoga studio I was captivated by the beautiful space, calming vibe, warmth and inviting feeling that Buen Camino Yoga gives you when you walk into the studio.
You first walk through a bamboo forest of Casa De Luz, into studio and greeted by Lisa with a genuine welcoming smile.
Starts with lavender oil for you to inhale and the class begins. She leads you through a wonderful Vinyasa flow, lovely music....and its for all levels.
The team of teachers are great and very knowledgeable.
Lot's of parking,
Donation based.

There is so much I have to say about this studio. First, I'd like to state that it isn't just a studio. It is so much more than that. All I can say is that once you enter those doors, you will truly appreciate yoga more. You will see it in a better light. Simply put: All of the teachers are so unique! They all show compassion, care and are uplifting. It isn't your typical yoga experience where everyone is showing half of their body, not talking and showing off. I don't mean to be rude or anything but the environment you're in at Buen Camino is like no other. It is just like Casa de Luz, so special and dear to my heart.
If you're new and have just either seen the sign or saw this place on social media, here's a few tips.

Buen Camino Yoga is located in the Casa De Luz village. It is the auditorium in this lovely, one of a kind place. They serve vegan, macrobiotic food made fresh daily. So to me, working out is far too easy because right after you can get a healthy post workout meal with the highest nutritional value. Home made food and made with love. This community is thriving with holistic minded people and there is never any judgment. In fact when you practice yoga, you are immersed with teachers like Lisa, who give you the best care. They help you without making you feel "not good enough." It isn't just yoga either. There's West African dance, Kundalini yoga, sound healings going on and so much more.
There's always room to include other unique minded people into this village that's ultimate goal is to have a community. Its another family basically! And I could go on a write so much more, but I'll leave it as this for now.

Thank you for the experience Buen Camino Yoga. You are AWESOME!

(And for a class with Lisa, you get a foot rub, aromatherapy ( with doterra essential oils and even some poetry.)

As I said above, these people are a light to this community. Kind hearted and pure.

Thank you Lisa, Amanda, Mandy, Jean Claude, Sarah and to all of the teachers! :)
