I can’t say enough great things about this gym. The instructors are world-class for both Muay Thai and BJJ. The coach regularly posts his training tips on YouTube and IG as well. I recommend following. Challenging for all levels. Positive environment and a great female community within the gym. Our kids take classes at Campuzano MMA and they absolutely love it. They have been regularly attending (2x a week) for years and have grown so much. While our initial intent was to have our children simply learn how to defend themselves, if necessary, via training, we have found they really engage and enjoy 1) what they’ve learned (grappling, clinching, takedowns, striking and submissions), 2) the friendships they’ve made, and 3) the instructors.

As for the class, the techniques that are taught range from basic to highly skilled. Each class begins with a warm up and some striking and then the focus turns to the primary objective of the day’s class. This can range from a simple strike combo to some very impressive and challenging grappling and submission holds. I’ve been impressed with the way certain holds have been taught at the young student’s level and how instructors pay close attention to the students when executing (arm bar, kimura, rear naked choke, triangle choke are not to be done without supervision). During class, students 'go-live' and put their training in to practice as they square off against each other.

The instructors are patient, caring, engaging and go above and beyond to connect and mentor the children (who are all at different maturity levels). The training has resulted in a huge boost to the kids’ self-confidence and a passion for something very physical. We did not expect this level of enjoyment from the kids, but it’s their favorite activity each week. We have been extremely pleased with the instructors and the overall program at Campuzano MMA and we would strongly recommend it!

Came in to the gym for the Adult Muay Thai- Striking Class at 7:30. Got a great workout and felt comfortable as a beginner (they even had gear that I could use for my first class, since it was my first time there). There was a good mix of cardio workouts and technical training. Everyone was very humble and I felt pretty comfortable. Good mix from beginners and more advanced partners. Definitely will be back.

Campuzano MMA is the most welcoming place. I traveled from New Zealand for work and wanted to continue to train while in Dallas. I came across Campuzano whom i messaged, they got back to me promptly, answing any questions i had and more than willing to help me out. Walking into the gym i was a little nervous, However that immediately disappeared when i was welcomed with smiles and introductions and felt part of the team immediately.
There are shins and gloves that you can use while training and great merch to purchase. The gym set up is beautiful clean, open space with shower facilitys.
They are a gym who knows the fight life and all levels are welcome, you are all treated the same male or female which is crucial in the fight game. I felt very comfortable, loved the dirlls, combos and routines. It was great to feel instantly included as soon as i stepped on the mats. The humbleness within the gym and the family feeling inviroment is amazing.
If you are looking for a welcoming mma gym in Frisco, Dallas. Campuzano will not let you down.

I have trained in this gym on Adult Muay Thai - Striking for close to 8 months now.

Great place, clean and spacious. There are lot of talented fighters who are fighting in amateur and pro fights as well.
People are friendly,. Nice and the best part - Coach Will is the best.
He gives lots of individual attention, teaches with same enthusiasm irrespective of whether it's 2 students or 20 students and gives practical feed back. Sparring sessions are technical and also lot of fun. Coach Tyson is also very knowledgeable and observant and gives lots of useful tips.

I joined as an absolute beginner with no prior training and was out of shape. Now my fitness has improved significantly and I look forward to the class everyday.

This place is NOT it. I’ve been to multiple MMA classes around the country and this was the worst one by far. They don’t actually teach you anything yet it’s more expensive than every class I’ve ever been to? Oh and the place smells horrible. Started a few weeks ago and feel like I’m picking it up very quickly thanks to the coaches. Will, Blake, and Tyson explains things extremely well, and if they see me or another student struggling they will come over and help to make sure we learn it before moving on, while also not being too soft or too rough, but still pushing me to be better.

The head coach, Will is very friendly and flexible/accommodating to other people’s schedules. The price I pay for the knowledge I’m getting and all the time spent is definitely worth it. My only regret is not signing up sooner!

I attended for the free trial for adults. When I arrive I was surprised they didn't have a beginners and advanced classes. Which resulted in both experienced and inexperienced fighters practicing with each other. My biggest disappointment however, comes from Coach Blake the jiu jistu instructor. Towards the end of practice we got together and did practice matches. The matches against the students went fine. Obviously I got my butt kicked but, they helped me learn. Though when I had to do a practice bout with Blake, because of an odd number of people, he went all out. Instead of taking the opportunity to slow it down and teach me techniques. I had told him beforehand that this was my first class ever in regards to fighting. Despite this, Blake over did it when submitting me and caused my right oblique to be strained. I currently can't sleep and worry about even being able to work now. Then after all of this Will had the audacity it was my fault for going "all out". Despite me being very clear and upfront about my inexperience. Blake's lack of self control was the reason I got hurt. I wouldn't even be upset if it was a student as things happen. However, Blake should understand the difference of someone with or without experience and adjust accordingly.

Was very taken a back by the fact that you can’t get information about the pricing or class packages until you take their free class. I tried to explain to the owner I just want information on it because I don’t want my son to fall in love with classes that we can’t afford and he told me that with 20 yrs experience this is how they do it…With 20 yrs experience you’d think you’d know how to talk to people and provide information to help them decide if it was going to be a good fit.

He did end up giving me a “price range” of $175-$249 but didn’t tell me if that was weekly or monthly or anything and then had the audacity to ask when I wanted to schedule the free class. As a parent I shouldn’t have to beg to get information about something for my child. Terrible customer service.

We've now completed just under a year at Campuzano and cannot say enough good things about them. Coach Will, Coach Bailey and everyone at the facility is not only extremely welcoming and friendly, they're incredibly talented. The talents are not only in MMA, but it's how methodically they are able to breakdown, explain, and teach the movements to the younger kids. Our son began just after his 7th birthday, his confidence has gone through the roof. That said, there are much younger kids there that are doing great. Coach Campuzano also makes it a point to teach the children that MMA is ONLY to be used in the gym, not anywhere else so there is an anti-bullying lesson that's built-in and learned by the kids as well.

I won't mention the name, but we had a very bad experience at another MMA gym that was only a money grab. They didn't teach and always wanted to "level up" your child because the next class was more expensive, and not by a little but by a significant amount.

Finding Campuzano was incredible and the journey that's our son started with the classes is great to watch. He's so proud of himself and we're proud of how he uses the lessons he's learned at the gym. Please don't be intimidated as candidly we were after that first experience at that "other gym." Give them a try; you won't be disappointed!

My 8yo loves this group. Coach Will and his support coaches teach by modeling the skills and giving positive reinforcement. They teach that the class is not a time to beat someone else with a skill they have learned, but to teach each other how to get better. Will Campuzano and his team are great teachers and this is the perfect place to help develop all the MMA disciplines for your child. Will has fought at the highest level including in the WEC and UFC. He's also trained at one of the most elite MMA camps with Team Alpha Male who was founded by Uriah Faber and has had multiple UFC and WEC champions. The street cred is there. Here you'll be learning wrestling, kickboxing, boxing, jiu jitsu and other disciplines.

They're great with kids. I've heard horror stories of other martial art instructors yelling and screaming at their kids but I've never seen this happen here. You can tell they have a passion for what they're doing and care about the kids. I'll see new kids just enrolled scared and crying and not wanting to get on the mat. Adi, Will and the rest of the coaches will gently guide them out there and let them work at their own pace until they're comfortable. They also understand change doesn't happen immediately. I'll see a kid with the worst boxing form. Every week they'll correct it and let them continue. They don't get frustrated and try to change it all in one day. That's more likely to get your kid frustrated and confused and want to quit. Over time the correction finally sticks and you'll see the amazing transformation.

From a facilities standpoint, the place is new and always clean. Adi manages the place and is friendly and easy to get in contact with whenever you have a question.

I would highly recommend this place. They also have adult programs for those interested in starting up or continuing in what they've already built upon.

My son had been wanting to take a “ninja” class for some time. There are a handful of martial arts classes in the area. We tried other places that did not work for us. We found Campuzano’s with Will the Trainer and absolutely love him. He is highly skilled in his area being a MMA fighter and World Champion. My son thought that was pretty cool btw. They are confident with teaching younger kids getting them to listen while having fun. My son looks forward to going to class and then doesn’t want to leave. This place is life transforming - literally. In a little less than 3 months of training here, my resting heart rate has dropped from mid- to high-60s to around 58. Energy and strength are up. In addition to the physical benefits, the coaches set a terrific tone, attracting students who train hard, but will slow down and help you if you aren't quite getting the drill.

I arrive early to stretch and get a chance to watch the coaches interact with the kids. These are coaches you want training your kids. They motivate, praise, and correct - never raising their voices. The atmosphere, coaching, and people at this gym is great. I go through my day looking forward to going to class. I had no experience in MMA before joining this gym, but I have learned so much in my short time here. The workouts are extremely fun, but challenging at the same time. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for an exciting way to work out.

A few weeks ago I posted about my daughter struggling to learn a cartwheel in a Facebook group and members suggested I should take her to Campuzano Martial Arts. Adi Campuzano commented and offered to meet with my daughter so I took her up there. Next thing I know, Addie is laughing and closer to getting the cartwheel down in only 20 minutes. My daughter was not a member but was instantly accepted and hugged on. Fast forward to today. Today my whole family now attends kids classes, teenagers and adults. The environment and connections with everyone is contagiously amazing. Words can not explain. My freshman is severe ADHD with impulsive behaviors. In these walls, he’s learning self control, discipline and confidence. He’s making friends and laughing in a place where the outside world doesn’t know what to do with him. It’s carrying over and his teachers are now noticing. Coach Will’s patience with children like him and all the way down to the little kids will literally make you sit there mesmerized while you watch. The best part is... Coach Will probably has no idea how big of an impact he’s made. If you haven’t tried this place, you should. Campuzano Martial Arts is so much more than MMA, kicks and belts - It’s family. ❤️

...My son LOVES this place. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere - lots of fun for the kids but also teaches valuable physical and social skills. This is probably the first place my son doesn't complain about going to, and he usually is genuinely excited to go. Instructors and management are awesome. Can't say enough good things about the Campuzanos!

We Love Campuzano's gym!! If you want a place that really cares about you and your training...this is the place for you. My 12 yo loves it!! He's learned so much and gained a ton of strength and self discipline. It has also helped him developmentally in the other
sports he plays. The owners/coaches are Amazing and treat you like family!!

Love this place. My husband and I took our only son to a Free Trial Class and signed up immediately. Our son had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute he was there and is excited to go again. Owners are amazing and very humble!! Definitely recommend.

They have never done any martial art classes ever.

My 12 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter can't get enough of it. First thing in the morning they talk about the schedule kickboxing class after band practice and school.

Like the others mentioned, merely an excellent establishment for mix martial arts classes you won't find anywhere. I have such high respect for Coach Will and Adi.

Coach Will's MMA fights show his passion for the art, and his real-life skills he developed with a true fighter mindset, which surprisingly is able to coach with such calmness, care, patient and demonstrates with conviction.

For me, its a workout which I could never have fathom I would be doing. As a dad, it also comforts me to know my kids is learning how to defend themselves if they had too.

I can go on and on why this is so great for a family. But its so new to us I find each week a new type of hard sweat workout and new skills introduces itself. I am very curious the journey this may lead my kids and me.

The coaches and the kids & adults students are very kind and welcoming.

I've been looking for a place to workout but not the regular gym thing and also wanted something my boys and I could do together and then my prayers were answered. Everything about this place is awesome, I drive from Celina TX to Frisco TX 3 or 4 days per week just to get an awesome workout in the mornings Monday to Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30.
5 star rating is not enough I'd give them a 10 out 10 all day long.

Coach Will is true professional in every sense of the word. He will push you passed ur limits. skillful and savy when it comes to training and technique. You will get a sense of his fighting IQ and knowledge for the sport from the very first session, guaranteed. A grizzled veteran who's seen it all and done it all in the fight game. I've known Will since about 2011. He's got to be the best mma striking coach I've been trained by. Now that he has his own school, tons of people are now going to experience what we all did when he'd teach our classes in Coppell. Will Campuzano has experience, knowledge, and is all around a great coach! Can't wait to drop in to train when I can make my way out there. His instruction is worth the drive for me!
