Worst experience with the staff and manager.
They made the tokens for missed class a headache for me and ultimately when I argued, they canceled all the tokens in my account and terminated the subscription.
Instructors were good but management left me no choice.
Basically they canceled my tokens and balance worth more than $100 because somewhere in the agreement it's written they can do that if they feel like it.

We will not be returning for a few reasons. To start, the coach did not introduce herself, and since my daughter was new to the class, she was given no instructions on what to do. She only joined in because I told her to run with the other kids. I was very disappointed that the coach did not acknowledge or welcome her as a new student.
Additionally, based on the class we signed up for, my understanding was that my daughter would be learning gymnastics skills. Unfortunately, the session seemed more like free play time rather than structured instruction. I also found it concerning that the coach only gave verbal directions without demonstrating or showing the children what to do.
I am looking for a program with a coach who is more involved and interactive, where my daughter can truly build her skills and eventually work toward competing. This class did not meet those expectations.

This review is for the Lil Ninja program. I signed up for a trial class after finding out they do afterschool pickup from the elementary schools nearby. Thought it might be a good option for us, so wanted to check it out.

After checking in, they said the coach would be out soon and showed us where to line up. When the time came, the kids lined up and were called in, but the ninja coach never came to introduce herself, which was disappointing. After a group stretching session, they split off into their own programs.

At the ninja station, there just was not much going on. I was bored just watching them repeat the same few things over and over again. The instructor was bored too as she was yawning nonstop. At one point she was literally just sitting there while the kids kind of did free play on their own.

I'm not sure if they do different things each class or if it's the same but this looks like it would get boring after 3-4 sessions. Once it was over, the coach did still did not come meet nor was there any follow up on whether we want to sign up or share thoughts.

For me, this program was missing a few key things I expect - safety, inclusion, and real opportunities for growth, confidence, and community. The instructor barely paid attention, the activities felt unstructured, and there was no sense of connection or purpose.

So basically it's just a really expensive option to have someone unenthusiastically watch your kid for one hour.

The gymnastics side looked more active and organized, so maybe that is their main focus and the ninja program is just an add-on. Either way, I was really disappointed with the Lil Ninja program.

Also, the facility itself felt kind of dingy. The vending machine was broken and the space did not seem super clean or well kept.

Would not recommend Lil Ninja based on what I saw.

I signed my daughters up for what was advertised as a structured, skill-based, and a *girls* half-day gymnastics camp. What they actually received was mostly unstructured free time, games geared toward young children (i.e. freeze dance), and minimal instruction without being grouped or assessed by ability. The camp was also merged with a co-ed Ninja program, which we were not informed of ahead of time, and the week ended with a surprise mini-golf field trip—none of which aligned with the gymnastics-centered program we paid for (see attached photos).

After the first day, we decided not to continue and requested a prorated refund. I’ve reached out multiple times by phone and email—starting June 16—and was told a manager would contact me, but no one has ever responded or followed up. The lack of customer service and accountability has been incredibly disappointing.

I’ve made every effort to resolve this respectfully and directly. If you're considering the summer camp, especially for "older" kids (my girls are 8 & 10 years old) or with gymnastics-specific goals in mind, I strongly recommend asking detailed questions in advance. Unfortunately, our experience did not align with what was promised—and we’ve been met with silence ever since.

My daughter has been taking gymnastics classes at Capital in Pflugerville for almost four years. The instructors there are awesome. She has learned so much and really gained confidence. It’s what she looks forward to each week. Also, their summer camp has been her favorite camp!

I was recently in a class to see if my daughter liked it and as I read in another comment they don't even let the teacher know that the child is new, from my perspective the coach in charge was a bit despotic and arrogant when dealing with the children, it was her first class and she seemed desperate! In my opinion, if you are working with children you should have the necessary patience to deal with them, if not it is better not to do it. It is obvious that children do not know anything in a first class and instead of being helped or motivated they make faces and gestures of displeasure and despair, my daughter loves being there because she just wants to have fun, but as a mother I cannot allow these gestures towards my daughter, on top of that the class ends and the coach does not approach the parents to talk to them about the class, which I think is because they do not even know which child is in her first class and who is not; I had high expectations about this place but it was a bitter pill to swallow and a disappointing first impression.

My child had a trial class here it was a horrible experience. We registered and checked-in and were told a coach would greet the kids once it was class time. No coach came to greet the class but I flagged a coach down to make sure they knew my son was new. They put him in line with the other students doing warm ups and didn’t explain to him what he was supposed to be doing. He jumped down a trampoline following the other kids and got a bit lost trying to figure out what to do next and was yelled at by another coach to get off of a mat. My son, who didn’t know any better, burst into tears. He had been looking forward to this class for weeks and one poor interaction ruined his whole experience. I’m disappointed this coach was completely unaware that my child was new. It begs the question whether the coaches here are even aware who comes in to their class each week. I spoke to the management and she said laughed it off saying would speak to the coach that treated my son poorly. I told her I hope she does. Do better Capital Gymnastics, our kid’s feelings matter. A nice gym and waiting area is meaningless if you treat kids like garbage. We won’t ever be back, my kid is heartbroken and traumatized by the whole thing, cried the whole way home. Such a disappointing welcome. Do not recommend.

This is our third year using Capital’s after school program, and we love it! Coach Kristin is the absolute bees-knees, both my kids loved having her as their coach and I enjoy talking to her at pickup. Liz at the front desk is the nicest friendliest face, I am amazed how she learns so many names and faces (calls for my kids over the radio before I hardly walk in the door)! My kids enjoy being active, love the ninja course, and have made several friends. The coaches do a great job communicating any concerns - esp Coach Madison, she’s great at seeing when my son’s having an off-day. My goal was an after school program that provided that physical activity / exercise, mixed indoor/outdoor time, and flexible scheduling - and this checks those boxes.

Coach Alex has been really good with my daughter. We started off with Level 2 in gymnastic last year with a different coach who was also wonderful. However by the time we enrolled this year, there wasn’t any spots left for the day we needed. So I placed her in beginners tumbling and within a matter of a weeks, coach Alex recommended her to move to the next level. We appreciate the effort and work coach Alex puts towards my little girl and the other kiddos to continue to help reach their full potential.

We have tried a few different extracurriculars with our 4 year old and none of them stuck. She loves coming to gymnastics and I think the reason for that is Coach Hannah. As a former athlete, coaches can make or break a kids experience, especially when they’re young. Coach Hannah seems to genuinely love and care about our daughter and there’s not much else you can ask for in my opinion. She is super encouraging and just such a positive energy and influence on the kids. We feel beyond lucky to have her as a coach for our daughter’s first experience with gymnastics. She deserves all the bonuses 😊

Coach Karson has been doing an outstanding job every time my daughter would attend his class. His dedication, expertise, and passion for the sport shine through in every session. He creates a positive and encouraging environment where every athlete feels supported, regardless of their skill level. Coach Karson is excellent at breaking down complex techniques, making them accessible and helping the gymnasts build confidence in their abilities. His attention to detail and personalized feedback have led to remarkable improvements in my child’s progress. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a skilled and motivating coach!

We have been going to Capital Gymnastics for nearly two years with our two young daughters. The classes have a great coach/student ratio.
I want to give some specific shout-outs. Coach Carson has made my nervous daughter feel comfortable since day one. Hannah and Cailyn have shown amazing patience with the toddlers. My kiddo had her trial class with coach Kristen! She had the best time! She did the balance beam, tumbling, stretching, some trampoline exercises and so much more. Very pleased with the engagement from all the teachers and the overall environment! Definitely noteworthy to see children in a younger age group doing advanced exercises, and I wholeheartedly appreciated the inclusiveness for all of the children, regardless of their size. It can be an intimidating sport to try out when you're not blessed with a smaller build as your same age pupils, it was enlightening to see. Will be coming here on a regular basis. Great job capital gymnastics!

Coach Cynthia Campbell is fantastic with 2-3 year olds. My son loves her class and learnt a lot of new moves in those 6 months we have been attending. The tot class uses various equipment: the rings, trampoline, bar…this class also teaches him to follow instructions and do proper stretching and balance exercises. The facility allows for make up classes which is great with toddlers that get sick often.

If your child is five, I don't recommend this place for the after-school program. My son attended their after-school program, and the peers and coaches did not treat him well. The participants are placed in one room with two coaches. The senior kids have priority, as there was a girl who was bullying my son. My son had no friends, and the coaches were not friendly. He always had to ask for things other kids had as he was not offered the same opportunities as others. He was there for one month and was let go. My son had no behavior problems at school or in his prior after-school program. I got my refund without asking for it, and It felt like they knew they had done something wrong. Overall, we are disappointed with the services provided. It's hard telling a five-year-old that he is not welcome to a program he was so excited to try.

I honestly can not feel the care here. The front desk girls are not the nicest and who makes kids sit and watch a movie the last hour of kids night out in the dark versus letting them play longer? They do get upset with kids if they don’t want to sit and watch. They are there to play. I think this place truly just wants people’s money with no geniune care for the quality of service and experiences created for the kiddos!

My son has attended for quite some time on Fridays but after this last visit we will not be returning. Two stars because he did have fun sometimes.

Ninja Warrior is easily my kids’ favorite day of the week. Coach Alex is so patient with the kids and makes sure every class is unique, challenging, and FUN!

My kids like it better than other ninja warrior/obstacle course/parkour offerings in the area, and they try to set unique programming according to each kids’ skill level.

Years ago my oldest attended and it was such a great place at that time. I enrolled my 2nd child and I’m so disappointed in what it is now. Every class they do the exact same things. If you attend the Friday evening class they also do a “kids night” at the same time and a lot of children running the gym. It’s distracting for the kids in the class and so loud to where my daughter can’t even hear her coaches. They put cones out to try and keep the other kids separate, but they just go through them. $120 a month for this? It’s a rip off. I’d rather take my money elsewhere. If you’re looking for a play place this might be the place for you, but if your child is genuinely interested in gymnastics and wants to actually learn, this place is not it.

I really wanted to like this place but im very disappointed. My daughter's (6&8) went to their first class here today for kids night out. I let the lady at the desk know it was their first class here and if they felt uncomfortable they would ask to call me to pick them up early. She assured me that they would be able to . I arrived an hour early to pick them up at 9pm and found my daughter very upset and crying. Both of them told the coach they needed to call me and the coach told them "it's fine" and did not let her. So they let her sit through the movie crying. When I asked why that happened they didn't say much except "I'm sorry". I cannot comment on their work here but I would not trust them with my children.

Did not have a good experience with their after school program. Pickup is surprisingly unsecure. Customer service is pretty much non-existent. Coaches would not even say hello. During my interactions with the front desk they frequently forgot to return a phone call. When I finally asked to cancel, they did not contact me back regarding a prorated cancellation. When I followed up with the associate at the front desk, she simply said “the manager said no”. No apology for forgetting or not following up. No questions about why we cancelled. Surprised this place stays in business.

Honestly the gym is very decent and the staff are super friendly. Unfortunately most coaches are very disengaged. They just stand there and tell kids what to do. And whether they do it right or not no one cares. They don't want to get their hands dirty and get on the floor to show how it's supposed to look, just standing there with their arms folded or talking to each other. Parents seating area used to be very uncomfortable and now it's just gone. If my daughter can't do what is asked of her they will just ignore her and work with those that can complete moves. They don't really do any stretching which is so weird considering that it's gymnastics class and flexibility is a must. My daughter is never excited to come here. I make her because she needs it.

They have a adult tumbling classes on Tuesday nights which I've gone to. They're not really classes, though, so much as a chance for you to have free range of their equipment.

You can use the pummel horse, rings, parallel bars, etc. There are instructors there that'll help you out if you ask too. You're not gonna get the same level of attention from them as you would a personal trainer but then if you want a personal trainer you should pay for a personal trainer (and some of them do personal training on the side).

Overall, I've quite enjoyed it! And it's quite humbling and awe inspiring to see the people there do the cool stuff that they do! Personally, I think seeing someone do a handstand to a V-sit or some routine on the rings is a ton more impressive than seeing some guy bench 315lbs or whatever. But that's just gymnastics for you lol.
