Castle is the best gym around. If you’re looking for a place to go and join a great uplifting community than this is the place for you. As someone who has been in gyms the last 14 years, this place is one of the best. The selection may not be as large as a 20,000 sqf facility, they have perfectly curated pieces to hit every muscle group with variety in a nice intimate setting. They constantly add new pieces and listen to gym guests as to what they should get next.

Jess and Yvette, the owners, are possibly the nicest people you could want operating a gym. They are attentive and ensure that the facility is clean and well kept.

They are military and veteran friendly too which is a huge plus.

I just moved to the area and the first thing on my list was to find a gym. I dropped in for a day pass and the guy at the front desk was so helpful and nice. I absolutely loved powerlifting here. There’s everything you need, competition equipment , baby powder, chalk, enough kilo plates etc. the few members that I have met and spoken with were very nice and welcoming to me. They spoke highly of the owner who I haven’t met but hope to in the future. I ended up signing up with the gym that same day and everytime I’ve been there it’s been a great experience. I can really see this being a long term home gym for me.

Castle is great. Is always got people working out but never to crowded to get work done. My waits for machines were minimal, and they have plenty of bars, benches, and racks so I was never waiting for those. The owner Jess was very kind and attentive and helped me and my friend out while I'm here for 2 weeks. The atmosphere is also rad and music choice is stellar. If I'm ever back in houston I'll be coming to Castle for sure and highly recommend it to everyone. Would love to see Jess' dream of working the gym full time become a reality. I'll be praying for yalls success.

Gym is still solid and they have new benches by the dumbbells which are amazing saw they have a new leg extensions but yet to try it looks good tho. Still wish that they had more machines but its pretty good for powerlifting less for bodybuilding tho

It was my first time as a guest here and I had an amazing experience! I accompanied my friends Lupe and Robert as they are members here, and it was my first time learning how to deadlift. Although I was nervous, as I was lifting, the other gym members cheered me on and hyped me up. I also received some pointers from them too! This was very encouraging and told me that the gym environment here is all about community and uplifting each other no matter if it’s a stranger or a familiar face to them. The gym is equipped with everything you can think of and even has extra stuff for you to use that a commercial gym does not provide. I will definitely come back soon and I am considering signing up for my own membership soon. Thank you Castle Barbell!

The gym has all the equipment you need. I’m not sure how it’s run. I think the members are meant to help. I once had to unclog the toilet myself, so I think it’s dependent on the members as well. You have to wipe before you use equipment. It’s not the cleanest. Nice social environment and friendly management. It’s a fun place to go to. 💪

To start off I just wanna say that this gym is one of the best gym’s here in the humble location. This gym that has been open for a little more than a year has built one of the best gym communities. Everyone here is helpful and is really friendly. The owner has worked hard to keep this community together is doing just that not just by communicating with their community but by getting and working hard to getting what the members need to achieve and surpass their goals. 10/10 gym for sure.

I have been to many gyms in the past and I have never stayed and liked another gym so much. The gym is family owned and operated and they treat every guest with such kindness and respect. It is honestly the main reason I have stayed so long. They also invest much into their gym, they contently add more equipment to their gym and always ask their guest for suggestions on things to add. If I could give more than 5 stars i would.

This gym literally have one of the rarest squat bar the transformer bar which is ridiculous. Love the owners cause first day I signed up, I told them
My gf and I were competing in a federation that use Texas deadlift bar and they immediately bought one . Never met any gym owners that's so giving and I am honored and forever humble to be apart of this gym. Thank you castle for everything

One of the greatest new gyms in Houston from equipment to pricing and overall facility. Can't beat the staff that work here. The owners are some of the most genuine, kind, helpful people I have met..... they even let me tour the gym and check out all the equipment before it was opened. As much as I don't want the place to get crowded with new members you won't find a better setup than here.... if you can get past the No AC which is a plus for cardio!

Jess and Yvette have built a first class gym. It is spacious and full of first class equipment.All the equipment is smooth!Let me list the great qualities….
All of the cable pull stations have ALL of the attachments to go with it.
There is plenty of parking in the parking lot!
The music is it blaring profanity it’s professional and respectful!
There’s not a bunch a little kids filming themselves posing and in your way and sitting on the equipment with their phones tying up everything for everyone else
It’s clean it has a changing room it has showers it’s spacious it’s a great environment that’s just about the gym.
Now about those two Jess and Yvette they are professionals they take pride in their gym and they put their hand to the plow and they have worked hard and they have done a great job they care about their clients and they’re respectful if you have a minute ask him what castle means you will be impressed. He’s not afraid to share his faith in God and God is blessing their work!I’ve worked out in Gyms all over America

Jess and Yvette show so much pride in this gym. I was so excited when they opened up , the convenience from my job to here was why I signed up! Immediately.
They go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome right when you walk through the doors. Great people , amazing atmosphere.
Jess always makes sure everyone is doing okay when their working out,and ask if they have any questions. He will walk with you through machines and accessories and that shows great hospitality.
10/10 if you’re in the humble area.
