What an amazing 2 years we've had here at Center Stage Dance and Gymnastics! The entire staff is warm and welcoming. The dance teachers are incredibly supportive and nurturing, going the extra mile for their students, fostering a positive environment where our daughter has truly thrived. A special shout out to Ms. Carla at the front office for always being so helpful and answering any questions I may have. It's been a joy to watch our daughter grow here! What a gem for this community......Much love Center Stage! β€οΈ

We love Centerstage! This is my daughterβs first year at Centerstage. We moved here from out of state. I looked many dance studios in Houston area and the surrounding areas trying to see where my daughter would be a good fit. Iβm glad we chose Centerstage. My daughter has grown so much as a dancer in a very short time frame. I feel the instructors and director are super supportive of her journey. She has also been able to foster relationships with her new dance sisters seamlessly. The Centerstage family made us feel welcome from day one. I am confident after being with this studio for a year now that we made the right decision in choosing CSDG. Our experience has been nothing but positive and professional every step of the way!!

My daughter has been a student at Centerstage since 2008! I have seen my daughter blossom as a dancer and an individual from all the support and love given to her from her teachers, her Director and her dance friends. We have created lifelong relationships with everyone that we have come into contact with over the years and this is a testament to the direction of the Director and all of the teachers. Thank you, Centerstage. I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with the studio, even after my daughter graduates.

I love this dance studio and have been here since I was 5 in a half and I am now 10 almost turning 11 in 2 months and I'm going to my third competition in 2 weeks .On my fourth convention I won a Hip-Hop scholarship and a Tap Rockstar scholarship, my older sister got a Hip-Hop scholarship and a Hip-Hop rockstar scholarship at a JUMP convention which is the highest scholarship you can get. I love the staff at Center Stage. It is expensive and the teachers are hard but that is what has made me grow as a dancer and it is all worth it and everyone is funny, entertaining, and hard working. I see a lot of reviews saying horrible things but I have grown in this dance studio, I am very shy but I'm a great dancer and knew nothing about dance before I started at Center Stage. As soon as I walked in, I already had friends, very welcoming. Everyone has supported me and my older sister through it all. I really suggest this dance studio if you want your child to have an amazing dance start.
Thank you Center Stage.β€οΈ

Awesome school! My sister referred me to Center Stage Dance & gymnastics because her daughter competed again Center Stage and she was telling me how awesome their dancers were and she had heard good things about the owner of the school. She told me that she thought it was close to my house, which it was. So, I took my niece to Center Stage and my niece is loving her experience. The staff is so nice and friendly. The owner is super caring and loving with the kids. When I see her walking through the school you can tell she truly loves what she is doing.

My daughter is pretty low key and soft spoken UNTIL she hears music, sees a camera, or has room to flip and dance! Thanks to Natasha Smith Dargin and Center Stage Dance and Gymnastics Co. for inspiring this beast of an alter ego. My daughter is now confident, self motivated, and empowered to be the best she can be. If you are looking for a studio for your child for recreation or competitive, you should definitely try them out.

I was baffled reading "Eva Hernandez" and "She Wolfs", negative feedback. That I had to write a review myself. My child has been a dancer and gymnast of Center Stage for 3 years. The staff and owner have always been pleasant to me and my child. They have multiple bilingual staff members to help with spanish native speakers. Recital is optional and not mandatory. Yes I agree dance is not cheap, but parents have to take into consideration that it is a luxury to have your kids in multiple outside school activities that cost. The recital show that is put on every year is a phenomenal one, and worth every penny. Great studio! Highly recommend!

My daughter has danced at this facility for 4 years now. Staff is always friendly and the owner is very nurturing with all the children. The recital has always been optional, and I've never once felt forced to do recital. During holidays when the studio is closed there are make-up classes during the months of April, May, and June, including additional practices for no additional charge. All information regarding classes, holidays, parade, recital and raffle fundraiser are presented to each parent upon enrolling for the Fall season via email. Parents who do not read emails will never know what's going on with their child. I would recommend this studio to anyone who has children for them to develop wonderful experiences as they grow.

I have been with centerstage for 2 years and this year was my first year participating in recital. We wonβt be returning after this year. The company over charges you for everything. Costumes take for ever to come in but they are quick to take your money. For one holiday out of the week they are out the entire week. But still you must pay a full month regardless of the holiday. When you miss a class they say you can make up the day but even then when you show up for a missed day of practice they tell you itβs a different class/course or what ever other excuse they may have. During practice they focus on girls that are on the competitive teams or way advanced. Costumes are outrageous a centerstage t-shirt is $20 and a sweater $50 which you have to have if you have your children in the parade and want to walk along side your obligated to buy and wear the sweater. The recital was a first for me this year, it is 4 hours long for small children that is insane. The entire recital show had two dance for gymnastics and tots and the rest of the 3 and half hours you sit in you watch the competitive team only. And then of course the owners entire background with way to much information to share. Scholarships are given out to her partnerβs daughter and one other individual that actually deserves it. We did not have the pink lady outfit for the show so they said the centerstage shirt and jazz pants are ok and they will be in the dance no matter what. What they failed to tell us is that kids who donβt have the pink lady outfit will be in the back of the stage regardless of their size and age. Mine was (3) we could not see her at all so we went to a 4 hour show to watch my daughter once. And the recital tickets are $20 again crazy expensive for one dance. And then there was the mandatory raffle tickets you had to sell. If you did not sell these tickets you had to pay a fee of $20 (βfundraisingβ) enforced. So we wonβt be returning after two years I wish I was more aware of all these things before we invested 2 years in this company. Also the owner of the company is never and I mean never there. Just there to collect her check and that is all.

poorly treated when we went there ! when i tried to speak to the front lady a different language since my first language isnβt english , nobody knew only 1 person , when my daughter asked if a staff member if she could do a cartwheel she commented βnoβ and gave her a smug look. Itβs very expensive to take my daughter there and when she was there she only danced the recital dance nothing else . Never helped the kids stuggling with tumbling . During the recital my daughter had to learn the last part in only 10 min ! And the recital is not optional , i was forced to buy my daughter the costume or else she was going to be left out.

If you want your child to go here be ready to spend alot of money. What you pay per month is not worth it. There was always studio closures they offer makeup days on Mondays at 5 I dont get home until 6:30 and always something to pay for mandatory raffles, costumes, fees after fees and the excuse that they give that it's optional is not a reasonable one maybe they should offer a class that is just teaching them gymnastics instead of entering them in recitals and activites that cost parents more money. We feel obligated to have to pay, cause if we don't our child will be left out.

Worst place ever. It is not an academy. It is more like a store, they want to make you pay for recitals and activities since the first day and buy costumes. Waste time on trying the customes during class time. Plus NO make up class are offered. During their recitals practices there are no classes, but the tution is charged in full. I will not recoment this place to anyone.

Worst studio ever!!! Worth 0 stars if anything. No one was welcoming, all the kids always try to show each other up, also the teachers make fun of the kid if they don't do something right. Waste of time and money, I left after a month.

My daughter moved to this studio after we had a not so good experience at another dance studio in our area. I knew the very first classes we had that we would love it here! The director is such a loving teacher and connects so well with her girls and loves them as her own! My daughter is going on four years at Center Stage and not only has she grown to be such a great dance but also very determined and structured in a lot of ways! She is going on three years on the dance competition team and we love it! All the staff is friendly and we are very well informed about all activities going on at our studio. We can't wait for our new home as they are recently expanding because YES...there are that many girls here! Who all obviously love the studio and their dance teachers, hence the new studio being built! We definitely recommend Center Stage Dance & Gymnastics!

My daughter is a student at Center Stage Dance and Gymnastics. The level of professionalism displayed by the director, teachers, and staff is amazing. This is our 5th season here, prior to, we attended another studio that focused the entire year on recital routines; here the students are taught technique, term, etc. My daughter has excelled tremendously here. Recitals are productions, the studio put on a great show annually. I can't forget to mention their award winning competition team, those routines are a must see!!! They are true to their motto "Every dancer has a moment in the spotlight." If you're looking for a dance studio in the Houston/Katy area, I highly recommend Center Stage Dance & Gymnastics.

My daughter started going there. But did not like it at all. They have favoritism with their students, their classes were packed. Like another review said, the staff was not friendly. Never saw them interact with my daughter. We stopped going 3 months ago and have not received a single phone call checking up on my daughter. Or asking why she has not attended class. They probably haven't even notice she no longer goes there. But yet they send me an email charging me tuition fee for all

The teachers and staff are not very friendly or nurturing. I rarely saw smiles on their faces. In addition, the cost of participating in the recital is expensive ( over $500/yr). Parents must pay for T-shirts, mandatory fundraisers, recital fees, and 4 costumes if their child participates in a single ballet/tap/jazz combination class. The teachers emphasize learning the routines and don't focus on teaching the foundations of dance. Positives-the recital costumes are beautiful and the studio offers a variety of classes.
