It’s been about 12 (give or take) years since I’ve cheered for this gym, but I was looking back at the other gyms I’ve cheered at and CSI was the best. I think I cheered for 4 or 5 seasons with this gym, but they were my most enjoyed seasons. I remember even having my 8th birthday party here LOL

Love this place! We’ve been here about a year and a half now and my daughter has progressed so much, way more than the previous gym she attended. The coaches have heart and determination, and push the kids to be their absolute best for themselves, not just for representation. They’re skilled in more ways than one. Can’t wait to continue to grow in this second home.

I'd like to give them zero stars, but that's not an option. Our first season at cheer Station was amazing. After that, however, it was all downhill. The owner Brad has taken a back seat to allowing a certain abusive coach to do whatever he wants. This includes allowing both verbal and physical abuse. The gym has been alerted many times to the behavior of this coach, including myself who had multiple parent meetings over a 4 week period before we finally had to make the choice to leave the bullying and verbal abuse behind. Don't be fooled by the many "winning" banners hanging. The purposely do not like the take some of their teams to the more competitive events, so they often win by being the only gym in their category. They did this last year by creating a team that has very few teams. So we ended up winning all but one event, but we only competed against two teams all season. This is also part of how they make money. They choose 1-2 teams to take to big events, the others go to one day events which are half the cost. We had to beg as a team to go to NCA, while they slated two other teams to go. Meanwhile, you're all paying the exact same rates. Also, the gym loses good coaches and athletes every year because they treat people like replaceable garbage. They only care about money. After 2.5 seasons the only positive to come out of our time there was the many friendships my daughter made and Coach Stephen who is amazing. Unfortunately, the gym will never improve because the goal is for abusive coach to take over one day. The other experienced coaches are fairly checked out. So run. Run far away. Go to ANY other gym. There are several in northwest Austin/Cedar Park. I wish I had followed my instincts in May. I would have saved my daughter from becoming the target of an ADULT bully, and a lot of money.

Also to add on to an older review. All the choreography is done in house by the bully coach. They don't hire outside choreographers. I also can't tell you how many times I've seen coaches playing on their phones during camps and lessons!

We have been with Cheer Station for over 10 years and have 2 athletes training there. This is my kids safe place with people they care about and care about them. Each gym has its own atmosphere and it's important to find the one that matches your athlete. If you are looking for a gym that is looking beyond drilling skill and more into developing well rounded athletes this is the gym. Every coach we have had there has been essential in building my kids into strong athletes.

My eldest just completed her third season at Cheer Station and my youngest her first. The coaches make all the difference and we love that CSI cares about the child as a whole person and works to develop not just their athletic abilities, but their character as well. The friendships and bonds formed here are something special. My girls have been a part of classes, clinics, show team, prep team, and all-star, so I feel I've had the opportunity to experience as a parent much of what CSI offers. You will find well qualified and caring coaches here, and as happy as my girls are here, couldn't ask for anything more!
