Tried an intro class on Monday for the first time and loved it. Went back for a second class today (despite being really sore from activating muscles I hadn’t used in years)! Really looking forward to starting my journey with Club Pilates and getting fit and strong over the holidays and into the New Year. I’ve been going here for about 8 months now. Every Club Pilates is different, and this one definitely leans more traditional. The instructors are all lovely and the sequences they put together are accessible to a wide variety of abilities, while still finding ways to challenge you. The instructor, Meoka, was phenomenal. She provided valuable cues to maximize the effectiveness of each movement. Her sense of humor and ability to motivate made the experience seem more like a social event than exercise, and the time flew. The facilities are nice and functional. I was disappointed in the inability to transfer membership to any other ClubPilates location and leary of being locked into the membership for at least 4 months. I realize these are corporate policies and do not reflect on this specific location.

The Club Pilates Heights location has exceptional instructors and extremely helpful front desk staff. With my Passport membership, I’ve experienced many other studios, both in Houston and nationwide. The Heights instructors have spoiled me, so that I don’t want to waste time on even an average workout at another studio. I’ve participated in Flow, Control, Sculpt and Suspend classes. The classes are as described, in terms of level of effort and difficultly. I can easily and predictably choose a class, based on my desired effort, to compliment my other fitness activities. Other positives … Each class type varies, depending on the instructor. And each instructor varies their classes, to avoid boredom. Everyone has different favorite instructors; mine are Meoka and Rachael. These instructors provide clear instruction, with classes that flow easily from movement to movement. Reminders are given for proper body alignment and to modify movements for increased challenge or to accommodate injury. In my experience, the Heights studio instructors provide the best and exceptional instruction.

Pilates classes are excellent for both fitness and rehab, such as post shoulder surgery or knee replacement. The Flow classes, focus on strengthening the shoulder girdle and muscles supporting the knee.

I highly recommend this studio and Pilates, as a compliment to any workout routine. It works those little muscles, that sometimes get missed, even with compound strength movements, and effectively strengthens the body core muscles. Thank you to the Club Pilates Heights location.

I’ve really enjoyed my experience at Club Pilates- The Heights! The staff is always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely personable; they make you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The studio is consistently clean and well-maintained, which adds to the overall positive vibe.

My only critique is that the classes fill up pretty fast, which I understand is due to their rapid growth and popularity. Because of that, it’s important to plan and book your classes well in advance, otherwise, it can be difficult to use all your monthly credits.

Overall, it’s a great place with great people, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add Pilates into their fitness routine!

I like to go to different Club Pilates locations , and this day I tried this location. The studio was nice and clean . Also the lights were dimmed which I like it created a certain ambiance that I liked . Michelle was our instructor, I enjoyed the class . She gave good detailed cues and. It was challenging but not overly challenging. When someone wasn’t doing something she discreetly came over to help , not yelling from across the room making them feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars – Amazing Beginner Experience with Meoka!

I recently took a beginner class at Club Pilates with Meoka, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Pilates! As someone completely new to the practice, I was a bit nervous walking in, but Meoka immediately made the space feel welcoming and supportive.

She has such a calming, encouraging energy and takes the time to explain each movement clearly. I really appreciated how she checked in with everyone individually, offering adjustments and guidance to make sure we felt confident and safe.

The class was well-paced — challenging enough to feel like a workout, but not overwhelming for a first-timer. Meoka’s cues were easy to follow, and she always reminded us to focus on breath and form, which helped me stay present and connected to the movements.

By the end of the session, I felt stronger, more aligned, and totally inspired to come back. If you’re new to Pilates or just looking for an instructor who is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping people, Meoka is fantastic. I’m already looking forward to my next class with her!

Great variety of all the apparatuses and class styles, unlike other group reformer studios (chair, barre, hit, stretch). And a great variety of instructor styles! Classes are executed with safety in mind, as class size is up to 12 reformers, but there is always a variety of levels to practice. What I like best about this studio (aside from having access to practice with different equipment and exercises) is the personalization and engagement from the instructors! Unlike some other local group reformer studios, they do NOT read from a programmed “script” and are always engaged personally with the individuals and the class group, and you get immediate feedback and sometimes hands on corrections as needed. It’s always a fun and challenging class on offer any given day (and time) of the week, and there is a real community feel within the studio.

I am someone who has never ever ever stuck with a workout routine. I've paid on gym memberships for years and maybe used them for days or weeks. I tried Barre. I tried Yoga. I start and then stop because I don't like the gym scene in general, and I don't like monotony (so I get bored easily & that makes it easy to just stop going). I decided I would just be a walker for the rest of my life & get my daily exercise in that way, but at almost 57 years old, realized I needed to incorporate something to help w/ declining strength and to help w/ balance. Someone suggested Pilates! I started working out at Club Pilates several months ago. I originally got their 8 sessions a month package b/c I was sure I would eventually walk away from this too. I had bumped it up to the unlimited package within the first 2 weeks. :) I can honestly say I've kept up w/ it (4x a week on average), and I actually look forward to my classes. Over the holidays I had to miss about 2 weeks because of a thumb injury and I was seriously bummed out about it! What I love most is that there are never more than 11 other people in the studio at the same time as I am there (which as an introvert ranks high on my list of priorities), and that every day there is new stuff to do and try. I can't believe how many different things you can do on the equipment. I love the variety! Plus, all of the instructors I have had are knowledgeable and capable, but also encouraging & fun. I usually have Ramsey & Holly (just b/c they teach the early morning classes that work best for my schedule). Both are fantastic, but all the instructors I have had are great. If you're on the fence about trying it, just do it! I don't burn a ton of calories while I'm there but that is not at all the reason why I go. Your body will definitely respond to the lower impact workouts. I feel stronger than I have in a long, long time (probably since my 30s).

From the staff to the instructors, everything is professionally done and the instructors pay really close attention to detail which was super important for me since I am new to pilates. A very important note and why I chose this studio is because it seems to be the only studio around that has classes based on levels instead of “all levels”. This makes a huge difference on the type of classes you can book and most importantly if you are new to pilates you do not want to start out in an “all levels” class, trust me lol. Meoka has given me the confidence in every class to learn more and taught me after each class how to perfect my form when I needed help. I’ve attended several reformer Pilates classes at Club Pilates (Heights), and here are some highlights from each one:

• Holly’s HIT class stands out because she is clearly dedicated to her craft, offering a very technical approach that’s fabulous for learning and understanding movement.

• Rachel’s Stretch class was incredible; she has a guru-like understanding of muscle structure and tendons, almost as if she were a physical therapist.

• Ramsey’s Suspend class is unique and challenging in all the right ways. You can tell she prepares for each class with intention.

• Meoka’s Control class was fluid, steady, and has a great pace. She has a warm & welcoming attitude.

Today’s Sculpt class with Melanie really stood out as well. The workout was perfectly balanced—not too much, not too little—and the variety kept it engaging throughout. We did several different series on the reformer that I’d never done before, which was exciting for me personally. Spring board is SO MUCH FUN! When you’re able to engage the muscles the exercises target, you know it’s a solid movement, and this class had plenty of that. Highly recommend her Friday 7:30 AM sculpt class for anyone looking for a fun and engaging Pilates experience!
