I love Club Pilates! I have never been the best at sticking with an exercise routine, but Club Pilates has made all difference! It is clean and well maintained, with very nice and helpful staff. I especially enjoy Maury, Jessica, and Stephanie's classes!

One of my favorite CP in the area. The studio is kept well, instructors really help you achieve your goals. I signed up to be a member because of the great customer service from the GM, Jessica. She really helps you understand the 3 month agreement, and to be honest i have been doing it consistently for a year now it has been life changing. So grateful for CP Richardson for the commitment on helping me achieve my goals!

I had one class. That teacher was great. The second class the teacher was horrible. I shortly after was diagnosed with cancer. And they have harassed me for 60 days. Having to get an attorney involved. Beware before you sign up because you will never get out of the contract. Nightmare experience.

Beware of the 3 month required contract anytime you renew and the fine print for a 30 day written notice to cancel. You have no control over your credit card once it is in their system. I was unable to take classes for 2 months and left two separate messages before a returned phone call only to find out about the fine print and being charged for another month of no classes. Altho classes can be purchased individually but more expensive this way. It would be so helpful if their app had all these details.
Experienced only one instructor who truly knew modifications for osteoporosis or scoliosis. When I asked if any instructor had specific Pilates training in either of these two areas, the answer was “limited”. There are training classes in these areas available to all instructors, and these physical issues are so common. Unfortunately, one instructor told me I had to take private classes to learn modifications. I will look for a new studio first of the year that is close to where I live but for now I recommend Pilates for Life in Allen!

I was initially excited about trying the intro class at Club Pilates Richardson. However, the barrage of text messages, emails, and phone calls turned me off. The calls especially after 7pm, focusing on discussions of my potential membership level before I had even decided to commit, felt premature and pushy. I appreciate the hustle, but this approach has the opposite of its intended effect for me!

After receiving a multitude of solicitation emails, calls and text I sign up for the unlimited membership at about 250/month + initiation fees. I can only attend 6am classes to work around my Husband’s schedule. The first 2 weeks of your membership classes are not available as they’ve been pre booked by current members. My baby gets sick and there’s no way to notify the studio before the 6 am class- I get charged a $20 fee and random $15 fees. Attempted to discuss with this locations manager, but my feedback fell on deaf ears and she just regurgitated their policy. I hope it works out for them, but I do not recommend- CorePower or Equinox is the way to go for more results and customer focused policies.

I’ve had an incredibly disappointing experience with Club Pilates Richardson over the past three months. When I joined, I was assured that due to my work schedule and tendon injury, I could call if I couldn’t make it to a class, even if it was within the 12-hour window. However, they’ve stopped answering the phone and now charge a $20 no-show fee without any consideration for the situation.

Additionally, I've been trying to downgrade my membership for the past two weeks, with continuous follow-ups, but received no assistance. The moment I requested to cancel my membership, they claimed they couldn’t downgrade my package because my billing date was just three days away, stating they don’t handle last-minute requests. This is incredibly frustrating, especially since I’ve been asking to downgrade for two weeks.

The new management has been a huge disappointment. Overall, my experience with this club has been terrible. Be wary of the false promises made before joining as a member.

**Prejudice, Homophobic, and Size Discrimination? You Tell Me.**

I recently visited Club Pilates and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. Upon entering, I greeted the staff with a hello but received no response for a minute. When I was finally acknowledged, it was with a confused look. I brought my wife to see if they had availability for a walk-in, and we were willing to pay the fee for the class. However, the staff member seemed uncertain and informed us that we would have to wait until the end of the class to discuss the fee and input her information. It almost felt like she was trying to convince us not to have my wife join.

Following this, I personally was asked if I was okay with cardio. As a bigger girl who had booked the class, this question felt unnecessary and somewhat judgmental. This conversation took about five minutes and left us feeling unwelcome.

The instructor was not helpful in providing guidance on what to expect during the class. She was unfriendly, avoiding eye contact and direct communication, particularly with my wife, who is a Black presenting masculine woman, while I am Latina fem presenting. This lack of interaction persisted throughout our time there, except when my wife asked for help with the jumping board, which we had to figure out on our own.

During the class, the instructor singled me out, asking if her and I had Pilate socks but did not make the same inquiry of the other members. Again, only addressing me. Her manner was accusatory, saying, "You don't have Pilates socks? You both are supposed to have Pilates socks." This made us feel unfairly targeted, especially since we noticed many members wearing regular socks. This question could have been addressed before the class started, which would have also been an opportunity for the studio to upsell the socks and guide us appropriately.

We felt there was a lack of instruction and guidance, even after repeatedly asking if it was our first time. It seemed like the instructor had an issue with us, possibly because of our race or sexual orientation. The overall energy suggested that our presence was an inconvenience, which was particularly disappointing for a class we were eager to try. Ultimately, we ended up leaving 10 minutes into the class.

In summary, the experience at Club Pilates left much to be desired in terms of customer service, inclusivity, and professionalism. We hope the studio will address these issues to provide a more welcoming and supportive environment for all members because going there caused more harm than good.

Quick mention. My wife left a review for this location since she doesn’t have class pass and they advised she was reviewing the wrong location. SMH. Way to avoid accountability.

If I could give no stars I would. My wife booked a class through ClassPass & asked me to join her. I don’t have ClassPass, so we intended for me to try to join the class if any space was available. Upon arrival we weren’t greeted or even acknowledged until my wife addressed the person at the desk. Then when we were inquiring about me joining the class the person who we later learned was the instructor Shawna, she was uninformed & lacked customer service skills. She continued to speak to my wife as if I wasn’t standing there. She advised it would maybe be $35 to try the club for the first time which was not of concern. My wife & I decided to go ahead & join which lead to immediate regret. The members weren’t friendly or inviting, we received judgmental looks & were instantly uncomfortable. Shawna helped us put on the jump board reluctantly then provided very little direction afterwards like she didn’t want to speak to us. Shawna then walked up to my wife asking if we had Pilates socks & when she said no, Shawna stated we’re supposed to have Pilates socks in a very condescending manner, again not even acknowledging me. This being our first time you’d think information like this would’ve been provided upon arrival or even addressed in a more encouraging manner. I then looked over to the lady next to my wife & she had on regular socks along with other members, which leads me to believe Shawna was picking at my spouse & I, which instantly made me more uncomfortable & aggravated. I then expressed to my wife I’d like to leave as I refuse to give our money to a such an establishment. You’d think in 2024 this type of behavior wouldn’t even be experienced but unfortunately this establishment screams of discrimination. I’m not sure if the treatment we received was because my spouse is plus sized, I’m black or because we’re lesbian but it is still unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment. && none of my information was taken that is why you can’t find me in your system, && it was whomever your instructor was for yesterday, may have gotten her name wrong but discrediting my experience over a name mishap speaks to the establishment && its lack of customer service skills again. This is the right location as I live right across the street. No need to reach out, I won’t be seeking your business. Thank you.

I started in November if 2023 and hit my 100th class a few weeks ago! I love this studio. The instructors are great and I love that they all have a different way of conducting their classes and are always trying new Pilates moves. It’s starts my day off right! And the manager, Emily, is amazing, kind and always happy to help you.

I am a founding member. In November of 2023, I placed a freeze on my membership for two months. I received confirmation that the freeze was in effect. In December of 2023, Club Pilates took $159 from my bank account. I promptly contacted the Richardson location and requested that the bank charge be reversed. I was told that it would be taken care of. The store manager Emily did not reverse the charge but instead issued a credit to be used at a later time. Again I contacted the store via email and text and asked that the funds be returned to my bank account. Nothing was done. I’ve left two voice messages requesting to speak with Emily’s manager or the franchise owner and have not heard anything. This is disappointing. I am now having my bank dispute this charge. Don’t waste your time at this location. The locations in Garland and Murphy are much better and have competent instructors who didn’t recently get teacher certified.

I was feeling super unmotivated in my regular workouts and wanted something to add to my routine. That’s when I decided to try Club Pilates. It was easy to sign up and the location is convenient. I was nervous at first but even from the intro class I knew this was something I would love. The variety of classes and quality of instructors is fantastic. In particular, Natalie always pushes her classes to do their best and is encouraging. I always know I’m going to have fun and get a great workout in. Highly recommend this studio!

My experience at this Pilates studio was extremely disappointing. We attended an introductory beginner class with Natalie, hoping for a welcoming and supportive environment. However, the instructor's behavior was shockingly rude and condescending. Instead of helping us learn and feel comfortable, she made us almost feel almost bad about it when we struggled or didn't understand certain movements. Ive taken pilates only a couple times yet she would make remarks like Oh you’ve done pilates before I would expect you to know this movement… If I was a professional at pilates I wouldn’t have chosen the INTRO class. This lack of professionalism and empathy left us thoroughly unsatisfied with our visit. I brought my friend here thinking this would be our permanent pilates studio since it is so close for us and convenient, I usually go to SESSIONS pilates in plano and would rather make that 30 minute drive and we will gladly take our money there. Im assuming because the intro was free but that doesn’t excuse anything…That is the first point of contact with new customers so you’d think you would want to be welcoming since you’re serving potential members. The manager, Emily, was extremely friendly during check in but other than that I would strongly advise against choosing this studio if you're seeking a positive and supportive atmosphere for your Pilates journey!

I am always hesitant with memberships because I have had the worst experiences canceling at gyms but decided to give pilates a try & have had the hardest time getting ahold of the front desk and canceling my membership. I gave my notice in September was told id be charged for the month of october (totally fine) then november it would be canceled. Well I got charged november and when I called was told the cancellation form apparently says “ id be charged 30 days after as well” and to wait for the gm to give me a call back. This is ridiculous it should not take 3 months to cancel a membership when I gave my 30 days notice……. And was told it would be canceled november & my last payment would be october!!!! I enjoyed club pilates and the instructors but the cancellation process is too much of a hassle was planning on joining next year but will not be doing so.

I was hesitant to join before this studio opened, but I needed to strengthen my core after a c-section. I’d heard that Pilates helps with that. Neil, the manager, took his time to chat with me and address all my questions and concerns. Fast forward 6 months, I feel stronger, have no backpain when lifting something, and I am part if this lovely warm community. Neil and the instructors I met so far create a welcoming atmosphere with attention to good form and safety, and free of judgment. Thank you, I’m glad I’m part of this oasis of goodness.

Wow, I’m shocked at some of the negative reviews! I jumped on google to find their number because I had to cancel a class I accidentally checked in for (they answered btw) and happened to see the reviews.

This studio is great! I have zero issues getting into classes. I normally go to like 4 or 5 a week. And even when I do change my mind and want to go to a class I didn’t sign up for well in advance, I usually get off the waitlist like the day before the class even if I’m number 5 on the waitlist. They also have something like 10 classes scheduled every day for you to choose from. Also, there’s a great mix of class types PLUS if you’re in one of the more basic classes it’s easier to make it more challenging and add weight to your reformer. The instructors are great about giving variations as well for more advanced students.

And the customer service has been great! I’ve gone to classes with almost all instructors and they are all knowledgeable and friendly! Neil, the manager is super nice! All the other girls I’ve met at the front desk are just as friendly and helpful.

It is pricey but you know that in advance and of course it’s a contract, what studio isn’t? I have had no issues and am really only leaving this ranting review because I happened to see the negative ones pop up on google and they are RIDICULOUS!

For the first time, I’ve signed up and stuck to a workout membership! I actually feel disappointed when I miss a class. I joined the studio two weeks after they opened. I’m already seeing results and fitting my clothes better. My doctor was so impressed with my numbers that she said whatever I’m doing to keep it up! When I signed up, they said it is more of a community, and I have not been disappointed! The staff here are really invested in your journey!

I wish I would have read reviews before booking with them.
They lock you in for a 3-month period, guaranteeing “you’re going to love it” … but if I’m going to love it then why do I have to be locked in for 3 months and pay a $100 cancellation fee if I want to end my membership early because it’s terrible? Should have been a red flag from the get go.
I thought it would be a good workout, but it felt more like “silver sneakers” classes.
The booking experience was terrible - having to be on a waitlist for one of of the few “higher level” classes and not being able to plan your schedule because you don’t know if you’ll get in… and then when you do get added last minute, if you decline to go at that point, they charge you for the class!
I tried to be proactive and at least book far enough out to not be waitlisted… but then realized with my 8 class/mo. Membership, I can’t even book into the next month. It’s a complete double bind/ lose-lose. There are not enough decent classes to get in to, and you can’t book far enough out to not be waitlisted.
Additionally, pricing. WITH the discount l, I am paying more for 8 classes than I am paying at my other intense workout studio, where I have unlimited classes (and actually get a great workout).
I tried calling the studio to discuss some of these things, but no one answered the phone.

Save your money (and time, and stress, and hassle) and get a membership at a studio where you can actually get in to classes !

The amount of hatred in the past reviews are so unrealistic. First, it is a new studio, it will never be perfect. Secondly, the people are very nice that works there. Third, everyone should be responsible about their own schedule. You sign up for schedule, be responsible for attending and cancelling. Don't just bombard the system for scheduling and not attending. It's unfair for those who wants to work out like me. The Tiffs and Treats has nothing to do with the studio and yet someone is posting mean about this. Take all your nastiness somewhere because this studio has done great for most of us who loves to work out!!!

P.S I love having UNLIMITED CLASSES that I can workout anywhere and book my classes.

Pros:
Starbucks is walking distance ,CVS, whole-foods, dentist, sushi, and all the good business are near with each other. There's also a park nearby and a nature preserve.
The studio is clean and cozy. They have a clean water that's purified and filtered before it gets to your system. The equipment are always sanitize and clean each and every workout. The instructor will not embarrass you if you DO NOT know what you're doing just LIKE ME. The apparels are reasonably priced. The schedule are easy to access even if you join the wait list because some will cancel for various reasons.

Cons: So far, I cant say anything but if there's anything comes up, I will edit my review.

I started at Club Pilates a week ago. Every step of the way has been the very best experience. I love how they have you write your name on the mirror and any body issues you may have. Complete support and interaction with the instructor. I cannot believe how much better my body feels after just 4 classes. I'm 62 and this exercise is perfect for my neglected body. I was a member at another Club Pilates studio previously but switched to this one when they opened last month. I'm so happy I did, I've been loving it!

I've taken classes from several different instructors and I really enjoy that they have unique styles. No class is exactly the same so I don't get bored and I always feel like a great workout.

To address a couple of the negative reviews:

1. The classes were definitely limited at first, which they told me would be the case when I signed up. It makes total sense to me that a new studio needs a little time to build membership and add options. That said, they've opened up a lot more times already and it's only been 6 weeks or so. I feel like the options are on par with what I've experienced elsewhere.

2. The most desirable classes times *do* book up quickly which I know can be frustrating. That's true for ANY good studio with group classes though. I book my classes out 2-3 weeks in advance and have been able to get what I want. Also, add yourself to the waitlist because people definitely do drop out and spots open up.

All in all, I've had a great experience here so far and highly recommend it.

I joined Club Pilates a couple of years ago. I have taught Pilates for over 20 years and wanted to see what Club Pilates was all about! After two classes I was so impressed I actually tried to buy franchises. Unfortunately for me they were all sold in the area so instead I decided to teach there. I love the company and all the people I work with, all so professional and knowledgeable! My favorite part I would have to say are the members! I look forward to every class and seeing my students enjoy their training and see results! They share their challenges and their accomplishments with me which helps me to design their next class....such a fun community! We are so excited to be in Richardson!

Do NOT sign up. No class availability and very poorly managed. Not only did they oversell memberships, but was told to just jump on waitlist then was charged teo $15 fees when they cleared me for a class an hour prior to start. The one 8am class I was able to get to the key holder was 30 min late; the entire class waited out in the cold for them to finally arrive to unlock doors and for our 55 min class to be cut in half. I worked with them the first two weeks when they took my money but barely offered any classes maybe three a day and asked me to “bare with them” - I did. And now after being unable to get even 2 classes a week when I’m paying for unlimited- I’m being told it’s another fee to cancel. This place is a scam. Truly a horrible experience. Very disappointed.
