Club studio was really great, but after the Grand Re-Launch, it seems like a lot of the classes and class times went away. There is less cycle, no cardio dance, and the class times have been altered.

The gym floor is amazing, but for the price and having all these constant changes and no sauna it’s not 100% worth the price.

I do have my absolute favorite instructors who keep me at the Club!!! Shoutout to Steph and Jackie G!!!! They go above and beyond to keep us engaged in class and they are so personable!! If they ever left I would be so upset!

I absolutely love coming to club studio. You can’t beat paying the membership and getting all of the variety of work out classes. The staff and coaches are all excellent. I am so glad I decided to join over a year ago! Switching gyms was a huge deal to me as workout out is a huge part of my life, and I do not regret my decision!

Toured this gym recently prior to them lowering their monthly fee to $129 (which is still absurd) only to find that over half of the amenities listed on their webpage are not even offered at this location.

So for $129 per month you DO NOT get a sauna, a steam room, a pool, basketball courts, or any other additional amenities outside of a very basic and standard gym such as machines and free weights.

Their attempt to lure you in the the “classes” and group activities and other amenities such as trampolines and boxing which is fine but who is paying $129 to come jump on a trampoline?

Additionally why are all of these amenities listed online for a standard membership but not even remotely offered at this location?
Shouldn’t all locations be the same?
Very odd.

There is a planet fitness 5 minutes away that offers all of the same equipment INCLUDING a sauna 5 minutes away for $20 per month.

I do not for see club studio lasting much longer in Kingwood due to their outrageous prices and over all lack of amenities that would set them apart.

I’ve been a member since the gym first opened and truly enjoy the facility itself—it’s clean, well-equipped, and has great potential. However, I’ve been consistently disappointed by how management and corporate handles concerns. There’s very little flexibility, and issues often aren’t taken seriously. What’s more troubling is the way mistakes are handled. Rather than taking accountability, there seems to be a pattern of brushing problems under the rug and shifting blame. It’s a shame, because with stronger leadership and transparency, this gym could truly stand out.

Can't say enough great things about this athletic facility! I don't have one in my area, but I had the privilege of doing a 7 day VIP experience. Super friendly and helpful staff, and awesome equipment, programs/classes. Super clean too!
The Recovery area is a nice bonus. I won't be getting a membership, but can say it would definitely be worth the monthly fee.

Clean and massive gym. Plenty of equipment. Never crowded. Feels high end and luxury with beautiful design touches throughout. Recovery room with cryo, red light, hydro massage beds and more. I haven’t tried the classes but I’ve heard great things from friends. If you’re looking for a beautiful high end gym experience, definitely give this a try. Pickleball courts too!

It’s a good gym, especially if you’re a “class” person like me. I personally don’t think the price point is high because, comparatively, Orange Theory, Club Pilates, Burn Boot Camp, and boxing or spin classes are in the same ballpark. Here, you get the option of all those places in one, plus an open gym. Shout out to Coach Trina, Tia, and Jackie. Hands down best classes.

Fiancé and I live in Hollywood and own a home in Kingwood as well. Stop by this location to check them out really nice brand new equipment brand new flooring.
The building is old. Been there a while.
They have some type of classes that you can take that they say is “what people do most of the time.”
But we were there on a Sunday or Monday and it was basically dead.
A Redlight or some type of Skin therapy but it’s Texas we got the whole SUN LOL
Smoothie place was already closed by 5/6
No basketball court, no sauna, no swimming pool nothing that people actually wanna do..
Kind of seems like it’s for an older age group of folk they’re trying to focus on because of the area and I get it but $150 / $250 monthly and they say California is expensive!
Yeah that was the most funniest thing I ever heard in my life.
The equipment is good, but not that good. We all might as well financed that whole place with the owners
if I was y’all and you actually hit the gym you have a better chance of going to fitness connection for $10 a month or LA fitness into $30 a month.

Been going to Club Studio Kingwood for approximately 5 months now and I am in love. The gym is very clean and well kept and the amenities are amazing.
I enjoy attending Jessie and Cassidy’s classes, as they are super hyped and make the classes fun, I look forward to them every week.
I also really appreciate Jared at the front desk for being so accommodating and knowledgeable.

The 2 girls working the front desk today when I went need to be trained on how to welcome or greet members. I don’t expect a very hearty welcoming but instead of the 2 of them staring at each other and looking irritated to who would scan my key card a “Hi” or “Hello” would have been nice. If I wasn’t paying almost $400 a month for my family I wouldn’t have taken the time out of my day to write this, but I think considering the price point at this location maybe greet your gym members a little friendlier.

Clean Gym. Different staff members pretty often. Which I do question why?

Ride classes are fun with Jesse & Cassie.

This place NEEDS ANOTHER SMITH MACHINE!!!!!!!!

I respect the rule of no gym bags on the floor. I don’t feel the need or want, of buying a small bag. I don’t mind going to the locker to get what I need. (They do have the equipment, but I like my stuff better.) but due to this rule this is the 2nd item (ankle straps) I’ve left behind and someone has taken, and not turned in. :)

I generally hate gyms because of the usual things that irritate folks. But I joined at least while I rehab a serious back injury and can return to my home gym. Perhaps it’s because of the cost or location, but you don’t see the teens occupying equipment for 30 minutes staring at their phone and the usual irritating things at gyms.

I do see the usual “saving” equipment with a towel while folks work out elsewhere, which is annoying. But I can manage that on a per-situation basis. Overall, super nice folks. Shout out to Vicki who helped me sign up my kid.

Great atmosphere. Great classes. Gave 4 stars because the price is so steep considering there is no pool or hot tub. Also, I used to pay $20/month for planet fitness's hydro massages and red light therapy (they also had tanning booths for people that used it). At club studio they add a significantly higher separate fee. Cryotherapy is also pretty pricey for a few minutes at a time but I suspect that it's cheaper than if you did it regularly somewhere else.

I am trying it out but my suggestion is to remove a pickleball court and replace with a pool and hot tub combo.

Trying it out because my niece wanted to go there but hoping they starting offering more for the price to retain membership.

Great facility with top notch equipment. Staff is always friendly. Never had an issue here and love going back day-after-day.

Editing due to recent experience: I was 2 minutes late to a Saturday boxing class, I've never been late before and tried to go in only to be spoken to rudely by a lady who was more senior, level wise, who were waiting by the door. She had an immediate attitude with me and I reacted similarly. After some back and forth, she finally agreed to let me in when they, the staff, go in to recognize someone's 100th class. I waited and then decided not to go because she had honestly pissed me off with how she addressed a rule that I was unaware of.
After they went in anf came out, a nice gentleman urged me to go in. He was really friendly and I did attend but that class was ruined by the lady I originally interacted with.
A bit of understanding and respect can go a long way.

Finally convinced my parents to get healthy! So we went to go look at this gym, it’s an ok price for what you get at $159 a month! I love the variety of training classes and the different times for the classes! My personal favorite is REFORM/pilates ❤️ the trainerS are amazing and ALL the classes are GOOD 👍🏻 👍🏻 CS4 is a little bit more intense, body moving wise but still good! But there’s is something for everyone! The gym part with the machines and weights is great too! Love that there’s more then 1 of the same machine, so no 1 is waiting 😉 it’s clean in the whole gym 🙌🏼 love that ♥️ the recovery ❤️‍🩹 section, is so good 😊 red light therapy, water massage chairs, different body part compression and an ice 🧊 box you can step in- CRYO therapy! The staff is so welcoming & helpful. The only cons I have are there are NO sauna’s and pools 👎🏼! But still worth trying the 3 day pass and checking it ALL out 😉

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE MANAGER “TISH”
A member kicked me in the head 3 times doing donkey kicks during a reform class and didn’t apologize or acknowledge me, when I brought this to management’s attention TISH told me she wouldn’t escalate the situation or even correct the member because she “checked the footage and it seems like if he didn’t kick me that hard” as if it’s not a disgusting or traumatizing thing to experience. Extremely unprofessional and devastating because the facility itself is really nice.

Had the opportunity to visit this club as a guest with my best friend a few months ago. Here’s what we both think about it.

The staff is very accommodating, and the inside of the gym is very nice. The equipment is top of the line and the classes they offer are unique, when I participated in the classes I felt a good exercise fatigue and fulfilled with workout. Overall, this is a fantastic gym. The reason I give it 4 stars is because it is very pricy ($150 per month), and they do not have a lap pool. Instead of a lap pool, they have several pickle ball courts which don't seem to ever have anyone playing on them. I canceled my membership because they do not have a lap pool, and if they were to install a lap pool I would resume my membership.
The daily passes are also way too expensive and they only have 1 location in all of Houston which is terrible because I live one hour away from where it’s at.

Overall a great place to workout, just too pricy to not include a lap pool as an amenity.

The gym is for the most part clean and a nice facility however there are some key complaints I have. For starters this gym has no pool so unlike every other gym you will go to, you will not be able to enjoy that instead whoever designed the places decided to waste space with 6+ pickle ball courts that are empty half the time I go plus an outdoor pickle ball area that is never in use. Secondly, if you arrive to your class that starts at 5:30 they will not let you in and instead will charge you a $10 fee for being late. So inconveniencing not once but twice. How does that make sense? There is no grace period what so ever, the irony is sometimes I’ve been in class and they don’t start right at the allotted time and have let people in 1-2 minutes after. Or there’s been one time where I barely made it and the staff is telling me “you need to run” with an attitude. Very weird and condescending. 3rd. If you have a recovery membership you can only access it during specific hours which is absurd. So if you have a job that make you unable to get to the gym in those hours you don’t even have the option to use the recovery lab. Seems lazy and unaccommodating. The seating in the red light therapy is stained with who knows what. I’m assuming bodily fluids because people are sweaty and who knows how undressed every person gets but it’s gross and I will insert a picture. Lastly is just a observation of their honesty. Before the gym even opened I’d get calls almost everyday and multiple emails a week about how I needed to sign up because prices were going to go up so high and how this is the lowest they would be and that they were going to be going up every month! Funny how when you look at their price now it only went up one time by $10! They make you think you’re getting this crazy deal when in reality you’re not. For all these reasons I don’t think the gym is worth the price. The community and hospitality at neighboring gyms have been much better. Plus you get a key amenity (the pool)!

This gym has become my home away from home and second family. The speed, professionalism, effort and concern that CS placed into meeting members in the middle when it comes to requests is unparalleled.

I highly recommend this gym to all. Anyone seeking self improvement or overall progression; This is the place to start.

Classes are awesome, recovery section has EVERYTHING you could possible need, and the option for cryogenic, and red light therapy aren’t offered in this capacity anywhere else in kingwood. It’s clean, the equipment is brand new, and the staff are as helpful as anyone can be.

Pickle ball - Need I say more? 🥒

I always leave CS a happier and more invigorated version of myself than when I enter.

The facility in general is clean and very modern. The classes are great if you can get in. But their booking system is terrible when it comes to booking pickleball. I’ve been falsely charged 6 times for “no show fee” which I showed up for and the front desk keeps making the same excuse that pickleball is a new offering and their system is messed up, yet they don’t make a proactive effort to refund my account every time they’ve incorrectly billed me. And now my account is suspended (and I can’t book classes) because their lousy system locked my account because there’s a problem with billing me for charges they know shouldn’t bill me in the first place! Beyond frustrated!!!

Great facility. However the club seems to try to make money by no shows. I say this because they try to close the door/lock it a minute after class starts.
Also the app and waitlist notification of being accepted into class is poor. They tried to charge me for a no show to a class I was on the waitlist for and never told I was accepted into the class.
I think Club Studio needs to get more customer service focused if they plan to succeed as they expand.

I’ve modified my review due to the “late” policy. My check in QR code was scanned at 5:31 and I was told that I would not be able to enter the class because the door was closed (no one had actually checked). Instead I was told I could book another class for a later time or date. I pay $150 for a monthly member ship & it does not come with a grace period but instead additional charges ($10) for being late & I am not able to attend the booked class. I definitely I understand charging for no shows because of demand for the classes. But You already have my money, what’s the point of charging for late fee & still not being able to attend. This doesn’t make me happy at all.

If you’re a serious lifter you won’t find certain equipment. Few things I would add are lifting platforms and different grips for cable/pulldown machines. This is really for the rich individuals who want to take the classes and have a massage right after. If your a generic gym rat with a commercial gym membership than this gym is not for you. But that’s not to say I had a bad experience, equipment is clean and comfortable. No sauna that I know of, one of the essential pieces to all gyms

Really nice gym! The staff is friendly and professional— I hope it stays that way because it makes for a really pleasant experience. Nice work, all! The complimentary towel service and alkaline water station is an appreciated luxury touch. They have TechnoGym machines with a good selection of free weights as well. I’m thankful for the addition of hip thrusts, belted squat machines, etc. that are typically reserved for body building gyms. Lots of natural light in the gym too and they have cleaning staff working all the time. The classes are top notch and make doing cardio really fun. The instructors are great, keep you motivated and are very personable. I like the cycling and boxing classes for cardio and the hot yoga is nice as an active recovery for me. A ton of value packed into one gym, which I think is the major story for Club Studio. They have a Recovery addition as well you can opt for, but it’s not for me. They could have squeezed an additional $100/month out of me if they had saunas and cold plunges, but I believe they prioritized the addition of pickle ball courts instead with the allotted space. Interesting choice, but makes for a dynamic community spot overall. Other than the sauna/cold plunge recommendation, I would suggest them upgrading the provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash to something that has a hotel-like fragrance to help with the luxury approach they’re taking, and the user interface of the app could use a makeover. Overall, I’m really pleased with my choice to join Club Studio! Kingwood needed this place.
