Terrible experience with the GM, Gina Smith — rude, unprofessional, and even hung up on my wife when trying to cancel her membership. Completely unacceptable.

On the flip side, when we called back, kyler was the definition of professionalism. Respectful, courteous, and actually helpful. If anyone deserves to be GM, it’s kyler, not Gina.

I’ve been going to Club4 for about 4 months now and they haven’t disappointed yet! The staff are all so friendly and helpful! Everyone welcomes you with a smile each morning and some wish you a nice day as you exit. They’ve also always been on top of catering to members’ needs such as refilling sprays and paper towels when their empty and assisting if you’re unfamiliar with something. I wish I knew a single staff member’s name so that I could personally shout to them out lol. Just know if you choose to get a membership here, you’ll be in good hands.

As for the gym itself, the main reason I chose Club4 over others is because of the private women’s workout area. As a newbie, this space eliminated almost all gym anxiety for me. Thankfully, over the past few months I’ve come out of my shell a bit and feel more
comfortable working out in the main gym. However, it’s a huge plus to have that backup area whenever I’m still feeling shy!

The amenities that Club4 offers are great too! I really enjoy having the option to decompress in the massage chair after workouts every now and then. There are so many other things I need to try out at this gym such as taking a spin class or doing some Zumba for cardio! I look forward to it all. Thank you Club4 Longview for exceeding my expectations :)

Personal training here is a scam. They make it impossible to cancel in a timely manner, requiring you to fill out a form that can only be found by asking trainers repeatedly to send it. Then they will keep charging you and refuse to refund your money. The personal training manager quit this week along with two of the trainers, so there is no way to even use your sessions. Glenn, the manager, doesn't respond to emails. Do not sign up for personal training here!

This is my first ever private gym in the U.S. that I’m a member and I feel it's pretty good. It's been 7 months now since I joined this gym and have no problem. I started taking their group classes that are included in premium membership and all instructors are experts and very helpful, especially Barbara Mcdonald. I learned a lot from her so far and still learning. They have Les Miles fitness group classes. I would recommend it to everyone to join Club4 Fitness Longview who is looking to join a gym and has 0 experience. Also, people here are so sweet and friendly.

I have been coming to this gym for a few months now. I come later at night when it's not very busy.
The only thing I have encountered is when asking about how to use equipment the workers at the front are not very helpful.
I have tried to get into lifting but haven't yet due to not being able to get clarification. And I'm not about to look crazy 😂
All the machines are very close together and at times it is overwhelming. I normally do my stretches and workout in the stretching area and then end with cardio on the treadmill.
The workers are nice. But, the people that do know how to work the equipment aren't very helpful which is totally different from my old gym.But to each it's own.
I don't like there are no family plans. And I never once was given a tour. I didn't know they had hydromassage nor tanning or I would have used the messed out of that. Cause I'm a pasty Italian 😂
Vibe is good and people leave me alone which is what I like. I have many people that want to join but won't due to no family plans. I feel if family plans where in consideration there would be more business. That's just my view. Overall love the gym and people are cool.

Everyone was super helpful in the beginning getting an account and membership. I used to live in Longview in May/ June when I first got the membership. I lived right next door to the gym so it was a no brainer vs. Crunch. Well literally a week later I had to suddenly move back to Tyler for a new job opportunity. So I never got to use the membership. Not once, no scan ins no tour, never made it past the front desk.

When I called to cancel my membership back in July, I was redirected to the 1-800 number and they started the process but because my membership was never set up online it was never canceled.

When I called 3 separate times to speak to a club manager they kept wanting to talk through the front desk employee, instead of me. I’m a manager at restaurants different ballpark but I understand guest perspective is everything. So I felt not important or that what was going on was not the managers problem to deal with.

After calling the 1-800 number they were the ones who were super helpful, made sure that my account was updated and membership canceled. But they said it would be up to the club manager to refund the cost of the membership. She said it does happen very often were those in your same situation are refunded at least one month or the final month.

I wouldn’t want my money back if I actually scanned into the gym at least once. But I never used the membership for anything. Would love to resolve this and change the review if someone can reach out to me.

Excellent gym for a relatively low price. They don't have as many amenities ad I would prefer (running/walking track, pool, sauna, etc) and their website does advertise saunas but they don't have any on-site. However, the staff is friendly, the machines are in great condition, and they have hydromassage chairs and tanning rooms available. Plus you can use the membership at any Club 4 in the country so it's a great convenience for people who travel a lot

So I usually go to the Shreveport facility and I came here a few times because it was a bit more convenient. Anywho the big issue I have is that there seems to never be any paper towels to clean equipment in the woman’s room and the women’s locker room smells like a dirty wet dog. Floors never look clean in the RR. Big difference from the Shreveport location. But other than that, machines are nice.

I’ve changed my review to reflect a poor experience here. I started going here at the end of 2022 and was paying the $15 for 24 hour access. After 15 months of payments I realized I haven’t used the after hours a single time, so I wanted to downgrade my membership since I’m paying $5 extra for no reason. Lowering my payment the $5 would have given me 6 months extra over the course of a years worth of payment.

I was told I would have to pay $50 to downgrade..

You want me to pay 5 months of payments to lower it?

I was a fitness franchise owner for many years and this fee is waived all the time, especially for members that have already stuck with you for 15 months. This will keep your customers happy and want to continue buying from your business.

However, they would rather me cancel and not receive any money instead of lowering my payment $5 and keeping a happy customer.

You also just lowered my brothers membership and allowed him to take off the child care he was not using, so I don’t see why some members are receiving preferred treatment over others.

Trying to quickly gouge members for a unreasonable $50 is poor business practice, do better.

It’s pretty Clean. Not crowded There’s a “women’s only room” for those who like being away from dudes lol. It’s really chill, not a bunch of arrogant energy. The equipment is nice and the different areas they have are positioned in a way that feels non invasive. They also have tanning beds , red light therapy beds, and hydro massage beds … I will add that if you need to cancel they won’t help you do it at all. You have to go online. They are not helpful at all if you want to quit your membership.

I am very disappointed with my time at this gym. I have had my physical trainer consultation canceled without any form of notice, then when I lost a glove in the gym I talked to two different employees who ensured me that they could not find it only to come in and find it less than 20 feet from the reception desk, easily visible on the ground. It had been laying there 13 hours and no one picked it up. The punching bag has been down for days and gym employees can take up to hours to pick up gym equipment and seem to rarely clean as they are too busy throwing a baseball around and joking with each other.

Clean and organized. Employees are very personable and helpful. I found a wonderful personal trainer, Kristin. She has planned my workouts based on my physical limitations in order to regain muscle strength and become healthier. I've been very impressed with her knowledge. Of course choosing a personal trainer was my choice and therefore increased an otherwise reasonable monetary monthly commitment. Kristin is worth every penny. She focuses my workouts based on my capabilities and my goals, therefore I will be accomplishing my goals more efficiently, thanks to Kristin's guidance. The gym has child care, a private room for women only to workout, tanning, red light therapy, hydro massage tables. It's a large gym but it's layout makes it seem more personable. I highly recommend Club 4 Fitness. Top notch equipment, classes, spin, TRX and on and on.

This place does not let you cancel. You call some 888 number and they give the run around!! They submitted finally for me to cancel last mth and charged my acct this mth!!! I called again they even sent me an email confirming my cancel status and still charged me!! They will not refund me!!! They better not charge me next mth!! All I wanted to do was check the place out. Instead I was handed a very dirty snot fingerprint covered iPad with 5 forms of Covid that wanted all my personal information email, address, phone number and more before I could just walk through the place. Pictures online are not of the local club. Front desk was no help just a lot of standing around. Coming from somebody with 20 years in the fitness industry you’ll get new members being the new hot date in town but if your quality isn’t there they won’t stay long. Good luck.

A friend uses this club and gave them my mobile number to give me a three day pass. I ignored the offer. I am a very happy member of Planet Fitness! Well, this club in Longview made an unwanted sales call to me on Sunday morning in the eleven o’clock hour while I was in church!

I have never heard of a company making sales calls on Sunday morning. I don’t even get robocalls in Sunday morning. I called them a couple of hours later to speak with the manager who was not in. The young lady that answered said they “HAD TO” make these calls because the manager demanded it. I asked the manager’s name. She told me her name was Jenna. I have not heard from her yet, but I hope the company respects the weekend for people that worship and for people that just want to rest.

In Longview I have been very happy with Parkeway Fitness, Anytime Fitness, and Planet Fitness. Go wherever you want, but make sure a company maintains respect for the public and their time.

I know it might be stressful working but never would i ever locks the doors before the time im supposed to close where i work at. I went like 10 mins before 9 and the doors were closed. Applying to be a member takes less than 10 minutes. Yall need to learn not to lock the door minutes before closing . If yall wanted to close before 8:50 than put it at that time that yall are closing not 9 because it seems like the time of closing is not 9 but before 9.

Hopefully I can add stars back to this review. My very first visit came with a lot of frustration. I checked in at the desk and told the lady this was my first time here. I had purchased my membership online. She took my photo and I already had the app downloaded so I checked in w my phone. I asked where I could change and she told me the women’s bathroom. I had to ask 3x where it was because I had never been there before. Told me the code which I couldn’t remember. Found where to change, put the code in 3-4 times door wouldn’t open. I waited about 15 minutes and just ended up leaving. I was hoping for a tour around the place to know where everything was. So disappointing! Please change the way you treat your customers. The lady was nice but please at least show new people around so they don’t feel so stupid!
