Finally canceled after 4+ years — and yes, they scam you for an extra month on the way out. Honestly, I’d pay double just to never step foot in this embarrassment of a gym again.
This place is hands-down the worst Club4 in the entire DFW area. It’s a joke. A bad value, a badly managed mess, and a genuinely depressing place to work out. The equipment is broken for months at a time, the entire gym smells, the amenities barely function, and the sauna might as well be a broom closet with a light bulb in it.
My wife was a member too, which is how I know the women’s area is shockingly bad. It has basically zero equipment for a real workout and it’s an insult compared to Coppell and Plano. It’s like the Murphy location forgot women also lift weights.
The whole gym looks and feels like what it actually is: a barely converted old Albertsons. It’s got grocery-store energy in the worst possible way. Machines wobble, cable attachments are worn down to nothing, and some equipment is so misaligned it could create actual muscle imbalances.
The staff? Mostly miserable. New hires look hopeful for maybe two weeks before they clearly realize what they’ve gotten themselves into. That’s what bad management does.
The crowd? Overrun with people who have zero gym etiquette. Weights everywhere, sweat everywhere, filth everywhere. Locker rooms are nasty, the massage chairs are placebo furniture, and the whole place feels abandoned except for how crowded it is.
I’ve been a member for over 4 years. I go to the gym 6–7 days a week. I have multiple memberships. And this is the only gym I actively dread walking into. Everyone I’ve met here who actually works out has either left already or is trying to. I stayed too long, honestly.
It used to be decent for the first year, but it has gone from bad → worse → flat-out unusable. Murphy sadly doesn’t have many options until EOS opens, but truly, ANY other gym is worth the drive. I promise you: the honeymoon here lasts about 30 days and then you realize what a mistake you’ve made.
Every time I’ve given this place another chance, I regretted it within five minutes. The only reason I didn’t cancel sooner is because they intentionally make it annoying and slap you with that extra month fee.
AVOID THIS GYM LIKE THE PLAGUE. The sauna never works, the equipment stays broken, the women’s area is a joke, management doesn’t care, the place drains your soul, and the only thing they maintain is the cancellation fee.
Run. Don’t walk. To literally any other gym.

I’ve been going to Club4Fitness in Murphy for about 4 years now, since 2021, as you can seen in the attached screenshot and I’ve always kept up with my membership. But this Sunday, November 30th around noon, I went in and found out my membership payment didn’t go through because I had closed that bank account. Fair enough, things like that happen.
But here’s where it got annoying: the girl working there at that time just wasn’t helpful at all. Every time I asked her a question about what we could do, she kind of just stayed quiet or gave me a super unhelpful response. Basically, she said it would take 24 hours for the new ACH info to be updated and that I couldn’t work out until then - unless I paid with a card, which I rarely take to the gym with me. However, I was able to pull up the new ACH in my banking app. But yeah, no effort to help or anything.
After being a loyal member for so long, I kind of expected a bit more care. I came on here to leave a review and it turns out they have a 3.1 star rating out of 500 reviews, and now I can see why. If you’re thinking of joining, I’d say maybe just hold off and check out the new EOS gym opening soon. I’ll be canceling and taking 7 other friends and family members here that I signed up after me.

My experience at Club4 Fitness was honestly disappointing. We were visiting from out of town and decided to stop by the gym using their free day pass, which is advertised directly on their website. From the moment we walked in, the environment didn’t feel welcoming.
There was an Asian male staff member who immediately made the experience uncomfortable. Instead of greeting us or helping us get settled, he approached us with a threatening tone and told us that if we “broke anything,” we would be responsible for paying for the damages. This comment felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional, especially because we weren’t doing anything wrong—we were simply using the slam wall as intended. It felt like we were being singled out for no valid reason.
Throughout our visit, the same trainer spent most of his time on his phone rather than assisting members or being attentive to the gym floor. Despite that, he kept staring at us like we were causing problems, which made the workout experience awkward and uncomfortable.
Overall, the atmosphere wasn’t great. A large number of people were on their phones instead of actually using the equipment, and the energy in the gym felt unmotivating. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone looking for a positive or supportive workout environment.

I came to help teach my good friend different movements to improve his back as he’s had back pain for years so I wanted to educate him on different stretches as well as exercises that would improve his overall body mechanics. The entire club was watching me as if I was a trainer or something. Eventually JD came up to me in a very rude manner as worse as you can imagine and told me to “get out now.”
As a gym professional I’d expected someone with that title to be a professional but he was the opposite. He was very rude, he didn’t approach me as a human being. It was as if I was his pet or something. I have never experienced such rudeness and language. Whoever is taking up for this guy at the gym has to be scared of him. He seemed to be a BULLY. I can only imagine how he treats his staff. His behavior was not normal and this needs to be addressed. If he continues this it won’t be a good look for the gym’s reputation. I even looked at the reviews and the proof is there. Whoever is taking up for this guy in upper management JD has to have something on them. This guy is nasty and shouldn’t be representing this club. I told him that he does not need to talk to me in such a manner. Looked him dead in his eyes. My dad being from Brazil who is a black Brazilian jujitsu champion allowed me to grow up learning the discipline and I’m so glad I learned how to de-escalate a situation when someone talks to you so bad and nasty to the point where your discipline had to stand the test. It was truly a test tonight but I walked away letting him know not to talk to me like that. Sometimes being a man is standing up for what you believe is right and this guy was disrespectful in every way you can imagine. He the type of guy that is probably coaching his staff to be on his side as we speak but he is a liar if he does. I hope the next guy is as calm as I was. This guy’s behavior was unacceptable. Being a professional athlete and leader myself I know he should not be a leader. Respect people first by approaching them in a professional way.

I don’t usually write detailed reviews, but my experience at Club4Fitness on FM544 in Murphy, TX was disappointing enough that it needs to be shared. I recently visited the gym to cancel my membership after my doctor advised me to take 6–8 months off due to an injury.
The shift manager, JD, was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional the moment I mentioned cancellation. His behavior was completely uncalled for and made an already frustrating process much worse. On the other hand, his subordinate, Micah, handled the situation with maturity, patience, and professionalism - exactly how customer service should be done.
It’s also worth noting that these gyms make it extremely easy to sign up - friendly smiles, simple forms, low prices, and “join today” deals. But when it comes to canceling, even for legitimate medical reasons, the process suddenly becomes overcomplicated, unclear, and intentionally difficult. It feels like they’re hoping you’ll just give up and keep paying.
If you’re considering joining, be cautious. Read the fine print carefully, and know what you’re signing up for. The facilities may look appealing, but the management’s attitude and lack of professionalism - especially from JD - really taint the experience.

Pretty good facility. Lots of equipment and space. Bathrooms are nice. Two things are kind of holding this back: some equipment is quite old and needs to be replaced & more spray bottles of cleaner and paper towels to wipe down machines. Several areas of the facility flat out don’t have them. Which leads to people sweating over stuff and not cleaning after themselves.

They threatened to send me to collections (I was 14) with a letter from a lawyer just because we missed one payment – my dad simply forgot to update the card. Some employees are nice and helpful, but a few were very rude. The membership system is expensively complicated: you pay a sign-up fee, a yearly fee, and even a fee just to cancel your membership.

It is a nice facility with lots of great equipment. They keep it very clean, restrooms included. The one gripe I have is everyone seems to be on their phone. Even when seated on a machine they will engage the phone with complete disregard for others actually wanting to workout. Happens every time. Seems to be more of a problem here than other gyms that I use.

Club 4 has all the equipment you could ever need. It’s a pretty big gym so you could always find an open machine or an open bench somewhere. The people r nice as well as the staff. Membership prices r also not bad either. Reasonable price for a gym like this. Highly recommend 👍

On 9/2 of this year, I had issues with the message chair not letting me log in. I put my number and place the Q R code digits Skipping the first number as instructed. When I ask for help from Haley around 2 PM she was bordered and not helpful. I will probably be withdrawing from this gym. There is no reason to treat people this way. I was very polite. I just ended up leaving and not getting a message which I pay extra for.

UPDATE: They do not provide wifi service. Even though it is advertised on the website. The GM is rude and the gym is always dirty. Worst customer service I have experienced in years. I literally am shocked that the company thinks false advertising is appropriate. They also do not care about the quality of service as long as you keep paying your dues.
Since 24 hour fitness has closed and we have had an influx of customers...it isn't as clean as it used to be. The women's locker room always has trash overflowing and the steam room goes days without being cleaned. We have triple the clients so why don't they clean three times as often? I pay for a premium membership and it doesn't feel like a premium experience. I have written emails to the address provided multiple times and they just push the issue to someone else. It is also uncomfortable to walk up to the younger people that work there and tell them the bathrooms are gross. Especially if you go in almost every day.
Update: I was contacted by the district manager Paul and was told that the cleaning would improve and that the wifi mesh would be fixed. He assured me it would be resolved. It has been 2 weeks and you still have to turn off your wifi to scan into the gym. It doesn't support streaming at all. Terrible customer service. Waste of money to get anything but the very basic package.

The facility is always spotless, and the variety of fitness options—from classes to equipment—make it easy to find something that fits every workout style.
My husband and I do personal training with Matt C, and he is absolutely incredible! He’s knowledgeable, motivating, and really takes the time to tailor each session to our goals. Training with him has made such a positive difference in our fitness journey.

I love all the Instructors and group classes at this Club but on Wednesdays and Fridays, I like to use these days for my recovery time by using the other amenities like the Red Light Therpy and Tanning booth.
First, I went into the Red Light Therpy which had 16 light bulbs out throughout which was 32% out (total 50 bulbs) and about 6 bulbs were out right in front. Then I went to tanning booth #1 and 4 light bulbs were out right in the middle and left face bulb was out still from months ago, that is why I usually tan in booth #2 but it was out-of-service today.
At the end, I asked the attending manager (JD) if I could get $16.00 credit next month, since these extra amenities I pay for every month were not up to par to use in the future. He said this is not a standard procedure we do. Sorry.
That is why I'm writing this bad review because I know we are only talking $16.00 but it's the point that the manager did nothing.

I come here after work and the day i come their power went out! To pay for a member ship and not feel safe while being there is absolutely ridiculous… not trying to sound harsh but I work so much, I very seldom get to come out and enjoy the membership but I still pay for it in hopes I will have time to go… to pay for it and go and not being able to feel comfortable because the lights shut off completely is not okay. I’ve been a member at Club4Fitness for a while, but things have gone downhill. They recently removed the ability to use Apple Wallet for check-in, forcing members to download and use their app instead. It feels like an unnecessary inconvenience just to collect more of our data.
When you walk in, staff never acknowledge you—no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. It’s unwelcoming and makes it feel like they don’t care whether you’re there or not.
The bathrooms are consistently dirty, no matter the time of day. For a gym that charges membership fees every month, basic cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere should be the bare minimum.

I like the Gym just because it’s the closest to my house and the option of 24hrs but the staff is pretty bad. No one knows nothing and points the finger to each other to whom to talk too. Or they just say the GM is the one to handle everything which is “JD” don’t know if that really his name but he is never to be found either. Called multiple times to report a incident but didn’t bother to get my information or to get it escalated or handled. I like the gym because I don’t get bothered so the reviews is based on the staff.

The gym is often unorganized. Weights are scattered around the floor and often it’s hard to find the things I’m looking for because of it. It’s also dirty, especially in the locker room. For how busy the gym is I also feel like there is a lack of equipment. I often have to ask or wait for many different things. I am curious about why 8 squat racks were removed from the CrossFit room for a special access room that barely anyone uses. The squat racks are often full and after the renovation I find it harder to find a rack. Once I get to the rack I also have to hunt for any plates that are under 25 pounds, or sometimes even a barbell. The combination of unorganized weights and scarcity of equipment makes the hunt take longer. I try to put them back neatly but it never stays that way.

I think the gym is excellent as far as equipment and amenities, but the bathrooms are often messy and there are too many kids during busy times. I wish they would have lockout periods where it's over 18 or something, like 5am to 7:30am. I find that they leave a mess of the gym and rarely put the weights back. Some do, but most don't. Just a suggestion that would get more adults to stay and not cancel their membership.

No longer the best value gym in the area by a long shot. Prices have gone up, and there's no cap on registration so the gym just keeps getting more and more packed. So much so that there's a cumulative 4 or 5 hours a day (Early in the morning and late evening) or so where you can expect to come and get a workout in. Crowds are getting unreal.

So much potential. Started out great three years ago but struggle to get small things right like repairing and replacing grips on the equipment. Regioal VPs blame the members and the staff when contacted. Clearly do not understand there role or how to interact with the customer. Could list others but after numerous conversations not worth it. Site teams do well with what they have and how they are trained. Again to bad as three years ago I was excited to join and being friends and family.

Dirtiest gym I have ever been to. The machines are consistently out of commission. Mold is growing near the coffee and wash up area. The use of space is pitiful and could be used much more efficiently. 28 dollars a month for what? Unkept facility? Only reason I am still here is because of how close it is. EOS opening up across the street this year. Can’t wait to leave this sorry excuse for a gym. They have enough time to make it more difficult to enter the gym than actually having working machines.

There's always broken machines, and the men's locker room is barely kept well. On top of that, I get penalized for paying extra. I can't use the sauna after "closing" (it's 24hr) you think they'd have something you can scan by the sauna for after hours, but nope. I like the Les Mills classes a lot. The Body Pump class is great but when the number gets above 20
people, there are not enough mats and sometimes not enough weights for the bar. In the cycling room, several of the bikes are not working correctly (the screen/monitor will stop working in the middle of the workout) or are impossible to adjust (seat won’t raise). All the cycles seem to need a tune-up. Also, I wish there more cycling classes in the evenings.

I have been going here for over a year specifically for the group fitness classes. I like the instructors, and the variety of classes/times. Great prices for what is included, and the hydromassage is a must! I have not tried the gym floor equipment, sauna or red light therapy- so I cannot speak on those.

Great gym. If you go at non- peak times you’ll have a peaceful workout with lots of machine availability but that’s every gym. Friendly staff, the only down side of it all is the sauna not consistently functioning.

One of the better clubs I've been a member of. It's extremely crowded during the rush hours so it makes getting certain equipment difficult. Cable machines and certain leg equipment. Have to dig deep and get creative to get a full workout on certain days. But normal non-rush hour times it's awesome. When I original started going it would of been 5 stars but recently it's dropped as it's become overcrowded and hasn't kept up with the influx of people.

overall a great gym clean facilities, solid equipment variety, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ve enjoyed my time here, and the staff is generally helpful and professional.
However, I did have one frustrating experience. I referred a friend who recently turned 18, and while his ID clearly showed his age, one of the staff members kept insisting he wasn’t old enough to sign up. It felt a bit dismissive, and the issue could have been avoided with a quick second look at the ID.
That aside, everything else has been great. I’d still recommend the gym

Worst gym ever, an extremely rude lady told me and my friend to get off the lat pulldown cause she said we were taking too long while on our last set of 3. She never asked to work in or anything, we said we were almost done and then she went to get a manager who rudely said we needed to let her work in with us Weirdo behavior from 2 nasty middle aged people talking to minors. Genuinely shocked they both workout out and look THAT bad.. Gym also always has broken machines, and me and my brother have both been charged $50 for accidentally letting people in when leaving

If you're considering signing up for personal training at Club4Fitness, I strongly urge you not to. I am currently owed $1,410 for personal training services that were never delivered, and the gym is refusing to refund me.
I have 47 unused personal training sessions that I paid for in good faith. Over the past several months, there have been six different times where sessions were canceled or frozen due to a lack of available trainers. I’ve been unable to train consistently or make progress toward my fitness goals because Club4Fitness has repeatedly failed to provide the services I was promised.
When I joined, I was specifically told I’d be paired with a female trainer. That was an important part of my agreement. Since then, every female trainer I’ve been assigned has either quit or been fired. Even several managers have come and gone. The program is clearly unstable and mismanaged.
The final straw came when I drove over an hour to attend a scheduled session, only to be told last-minute that the trainer wasn’t coming. She had quit too. This isn’t a one-off. It’s a clear and ongoing pattern of disorganization and broken promises.
Recently, I was encouraged to start training with yet another new female trainer, but based on my last now seven experiences, I have zero confidence that she’ll stay or that I’ll be able to complete my sessions. It feels like the same cycle repeating all over again.
To make things worse, an employee even admitted to me that management’s strategy is to run customers in circles until they give up asking for refunds. That’s not just bad service, that’s unethical.
Despite repeated requests, Club4Fitness, specifically Glenn, has refused to refund my money for services not delivered. I’ve done everything I was supposed to do. They have not. I am now pursuing legal action.
Do not sign up for personal training at Club4Fitness. If you value your time, your goals, and your money, go somewhere else. I’ve been taken advantage of, and I don’t want to see that happen to anyone else.

I have been a member of CLUB4 gym for half a year. Why did I choose this gym? First, it is very close to my workplace, and I can choose premium membership for 24-hour access. Overall, it is good and the fitness atmosphere is also very good. However, I have been to all CLUB4 stores in Dallas in the past six months, and I found that the sanitation environment of the store in Murphy is the worst, especially in recent months. I go to the gym about 4-5 times a week. Why did I come to review this gym? Because last night during the interval of my bench press group, a cockroach almost crawled on my foot. The main hygiene that I think needs attention is the water dispenser. It is rarely cleaned, and sometimes you can see mold. The second is the hygiene of the toilet and bathroom. Sometimes I even doubt whether this store has hired cleaning staff. Another point worth mentioning is that the sauna room of this store has basically not been working since I became a member. I can only go to other stores if I want to steam sauna. This is a sincere suggestion as a customer, and I hope it can be improved.

hate to leave a review ever but I’ve been coming here since 2023. One time I had gone after the club was closed and scanned my barcode to which the door unlocked so I went to workout as usual. Got a call and was rudely accused of breaking the rules and I tried explaining that I didn’t have anyone hold open the door for me or anything I simply scanned my app and it unlocked and he was treating me like I broke a law lol talking about I need a special membership for that. I genuinely didn’t know and was confused why the door would even unlock for me at all then?? but the way he talked to me was very upsetting and made me embarrassed to even come back. Trying to cancel is even harder , have been trying for months now and they won’t let you cancel without paying for months you haven’t been there on top of an extra month after the month you cancel. 0 compassion from the staff member I talked to I was taken aback. Houston was really nice though thank you for the kindness <3. And seeing the responses from the owner to other reviews is shocking and lacking accountability and empathy. And machines will stay broken for long periods of time .lol

I wanted to like this gym because the equipment selection is good, if sometimes broken or out of order. Unfortunately, there are not many convenient gym options in Murphy.
They charge a $50 fine if you show up even one minute outside of staffed hours. The main issue is that these staffed hours are not reliable. I often experienced staff opening the gym late or closing up early. It's unfair that members get fined for being late when the staff doesn't even follow the same schedule.
They also removed the staffed hours from their Google page, so they are (intentionally?) making it harder to know the right times and avoid the fine. Now it seems you must call or visit in person to see the staffed hours schedule instead of checking on Google where these hours were posted for years.
I hope management actually fixes these problems instead of just posting a generic reply. Seeing as they face no real competition in Murphy, I somehow doubt it.

Horrible experience, if I could give a -10 I would. Make you jump through hoops to cancel and then charge you annual fees even if you closed the account. Impossible to get anyone on the phone so you have to come up to the location. I finally got ahold of a "regional manager" Paul who was beyond useless and worse then the customer service I received via email. I really hate 24 hour fitness closed across the street, they would never have treated me this way.

Dude tried to sign me up telling me there are no hidden fees and you can cancel in two weeks you pay only your monthly fee, not mentioning about annual fees which they charge right away. Good thing I specifically asked about it.

Update: your response to my review is invalid because your staff failed to emphasize that when I was in process of signing up, reassuring me that there are no fees. When I found out myself after asking couple times and be very specific how much is being charged only then I figured ClubFitness didn’t provide me full information, so I had to tell the guy to stop processing the payment cause I already gave him my card info.
Please take the responsibility, and improve the providing info process for customers instead of using generic response templates. Thank you

I've been coming here on and off for a few years. Lately I've been coming regularly since January. It is waaaaayyyy too crowded a lot of the time. People running around in slides and sandles, seems like they only kick out select people who wear them. I will say if you have a problem and bring it up to staff they are quick to check cameras and take care of a situation if necessary.
I give 5 stars because the few staff members I have spoken to or dealt with have been super helpful, the trainers I've spoken to or have had questions have been very helpful as well. I like it here, just wish there was a way to come here between the hours of 6 and 8 without being around a bunch of teenagers. It would be beneficial if they built a club4 in Wylie and that would make some of the bodies out of this gym. Just a thought. It's a good gym with a variety of equipment and classes.
Update 5/15/2025: So so exhausting trying to talk to these young people at the front desk who give nothing but attitude. Not sure of his name, dark curly hair, my first time saying anything to him and I got attitude.

Bad experience for paying personal trainers no female trainers available from October 2024-till January 2025 I already paid my six months long training they keep changing my trainers and I end up having no trainers and then they asking to pay for more to have trainer because it got membership has expired.

It’s a good gym with plenty of amenities, that’s it. But let me get into the worst part about this gym…
It’s amazing how this gym manages to stay open despite its nasty restrooms and showers. The restroom walls, floors, stalls, and sinks are adorned with various stains. Paper towels litter the ground due to the neglect of trash removal. The showers are moldy, especially the ceilings, and the only solution is to paint the ceilings to conceal the issue. (I’ve seen maintenance do the work and it’s bad. ) The showers emit a distinct moldy odor, and the gaps around the floor tiles are black. Moreover, the shower heads haven’t been replaced since the gym opened (January 2021) I’ve never been inside the sauna, but I can only imagine its grim state. The hydromassage and red light therapy equipment is equally unsanitary. Some of the treadmills are covered in sweat stains that are stubbornly difficult to remove. The gym’s weightlifting area is also disorganized.
The thought of someone falling ill due to the dirtiness of this gym scares me. It’s equally perplexing how poorly managed this establishment is currently. Managed should prioritize cleanliness, particularly in the restrooms and showers, which, by the way, could use a thorough deep cleaning. The previous crews maintained exceptional cleanliness, but I have the feeling that the current staff lacks the commitment to keep up with the gym’s standards.
Please address these issues promptly. This gym serves as the sole convenient option for Murphy and the surrounding cities since 24-hour shutdown.

Honestly, I haven’t had any issues with the gym. I mean it’s kind of a gym you go there you work out the only issue I think I’ve had with the Gym is that one time I lost my car keys and we were leaving and I had to get someone to open the door so I could go check inside the locker see if my car keys were there. Turns out somebody turned them in, but I ended up getting a $50 charge because I had a membership but I didn’t have an overnight membership then also my option would’ve been that I couldn’t have known. I really wanna get it waived cause I kinda didn’t have a way to get home if I didn’t check, I wouldn’t have known I really wanna get it waived because it was kind of an emergency get my car keys back. But I mean just a warning that they do check the cameras every single night so if you end up going in even if you’re just gonna go get something back from your locker, you’ll still probably get charged $50 so it’s best just to leave it and figure something else out. I still really want to get it waived because it was my missing car key

I’ve been coming to Club4 Murphy for about a year and a half now. I thought it might be time to write a review. 😉
I have my own home gym, so I mostly come here for the Red Light Therapy, Massage Beds, and to get some steady-state cardio on the stair machine, arc trainer, or treadmill. I’m usually in and out quickly, but the experience has been great overall. 👍
Leah at the front desk has been super friendly and welcoming, which is appreciated. She is always ready to start the Red Light for me. 🥰 I’ve seen a few reviews saying the gym is dirty, but I’ve never noticed it looking bad. If I do see a piece of trash or a paper towel on the floor, I just pick it up and toss it. Not a big deal—and honestly, if more people did the same (or didn’t leave it there to begin with), it would help. 🥹
I love the Cardio 2 room—it’s dark and super chill, which makes it a great space to move at your own pace without feeling watched. Ideal for introverts like me who just want to get in, zone out, and go. 🙌

Nice gym. However the staff and management need to have a little more understanding and compassion when dealing with customers. For those unsatisfied with their Club4Fitness experience I recommend Fitness Xpress. While it is smaller, I’ve had nothing but positive encounters at this gym very understanding and personable with customers. No hidden or outrageous fees.

I have been going through all the reviews because I invited a friend to come with me and she was confused. So I’m posting this review to let future members know that it seems only bad reviews are posted. I’ve been at the gym since November and have nothing but great things to say. My 3 kids attend the childcare and I can’t say enough great things about ALL of them in there. They all know my kids by names and that makes me feel confident leaving them. The gym itself has everything I could need then some. I constantly see the gym attendants cleaning or organizing and that’s nice to see as this is not my first gym and I haven’t always had the best experience.

The staff doesn’t properly tell you the hours and don’t let your UNDERAGE kids go here without supervision. I was charged a fee for punching in at 9:01, 2 minutes after staff hours. When I was told the gym closed at 11pm, the girl never mentioned they had different closing time for the weekends. Yes they’re posted on the door but when SHE says “we close at 11pm” I’m going to believe her. I went up to the front desk to explain my honest mistake and jefersen the manager didn’t care to talk to me so he has no customer service for a manager, and told the front desk girl to tell me they’ll “talk” about it and see. Never heard back. ALSO, about 3 weeks ago I was approached by an OLDER man and he was verbally aggressive towards me and my friend because he wanted to join in on our workout and I said “no thank you”. The cameras can prove I did nothing to provoke this man to be aggressive towards us. I am an adult but for safety of younger girls I reported this to the front desk and they did NOTHING but ask him if that was true and he denied it. Staff, Ethan can confirm that’s what happened because he told me and my friend they refused to confront him with the truth. SO, this man still attends this gym and CONTINUES to approach young girls from 15-17 years old. That’s the staff you’re dealing with. Non caring and no empathy for their clients. This is completely true as staff member Ethan, confirmed he SAW this older man approach 16year old girls. But hey, who cares because he pays for a membership. The staff members are unprofessional and extremely disappointing. Yes, I cancelled my membership.

The club has staffed hours when the doors stay open. When the doors are closed then it’s considered after-hours, you have to have a higher membership to use the gym after-hours, you scan your Id and go in.
I had told my kids that whenever you find the doors locked, just come back. I was recently charged $100 penalty, and they said my kids went there at 8:30 on a Sunday. I told the store manager JD that the doors were open. He said they should have known that staffed hours end at 8pm.
I really don’t memorize business hours for any store, if I go to taco-bell and it’s closed, then I know it’s closed. I feel a business should take care of its clients.
Anyway, I wanted to post this review here so other people are careful and don’t fall for these tricks.
Update : My intention were to inform members so they are careful. I have never been to the gym at 8:30pm. Also it was not explained to me at length when I joined, you don’t know because you were not there. Please don’t use the same generic reply for every complaint people post.

I've been coming here for over a year and it started out great but it's been going downhill like crazy lately. They try way too hard to fit classes everywhere... both turf areas will just randomly get taken over for group fitness classes, and the one really nice room they had for lifting just got converted to some nonsensical function fitness class area that is now locked and inaccessible unless you get the newer, even more expensive membership than the original premium membership. I rarely ever see it used and it's insane. Regular members are losing space day by day and they do not care. I'd leave now if there was another nearby option that worked out for my family's needs. It's a shame really.

My experience with this club has been extremely disappointing, one day I’ve arrived at the Kids Club approximately 12:07 PM to pick up my children, just a few minutes past their closing time of 12:00 PM. I understand the importance of punctuality, but I was met with an unexpectedly harsh and unprofessional response from the Kids Club manager Jennifer . She raised her voice at me “in-front a kid”, implying that I am consistently late, which is untrue.
Then I’ve requested them to cancel my membership and refund me my 6 personal training sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. I was informed that no refunds were allowed, and they offered no things when I raised the issue. It’s clear that this club doesn’t prioritize customer service or flexibility. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for proper care or reasonable resolutions.

I love this place—it's my new home gym! The atmosphere is young, fresh, and vibrant, making it a perfect fit for anyone looking for a motivating and energetic environment. The equipment is top-notch, all new and well-maintained, offering plenty of options to choose from for any workout. There's so much space, making it easy to move around and find what you need.
One of my favorite features is the women's area, which provides a dedicated space for women to work out without the anxiety of a more crowded, mixed gym environment. It’s a comfortable and supportive space where I feel empowered to focus on my fitness goals.
The gym also offers a variety of classes, which keeps things exciting and diverse. Plus, their app is a great tool to help track and accomplish fitness goals, adding even more value to the experience. It’s an all-around great place to work out and feel part of a community!

Only reason for the rating is the customer service. THERE ISN’T ANY/TERRIBLE. The red hair with black color girl there is extremely rude. I do not know why this gym bothers having someone like this at the entrance. Coming from 24HR fitness because they closed down the street and this is NOT the “entry vibe” I’m used to. With ZERO motivation to even be at work with even the nerve to wear sunglasses so no one can see if she is literally eye rolling you or not. GYM gains come from within, so it won’t ruin my work out, however; At least make the environment entry welcoming.

My mother signed up for training sessions but, due to serious health concerns, was unable to attend a single session. When we attempted to cancel, we were repeatedly told to come back, only to deal with different people every time, none of whom could help. Finally, Abraham insisted we provide a doctor’s note, which we did.
But then he told us we missed the cancellation deadline—something we were never informed about. When we asked why he didn’t mention this in person, he claimed he had sent a text. But when we checked, there was no text. He then tried to cover up by saying he assumed we already had the note, even though we had clearly told him my mother needed to travel to New York to get it from her doctor.
This entire experience has been an absolute nightmare. They don't care about your health or well-being—they only care about exploiting you for money. We’ve made multiple trips to the club, wasting both time and energy, but they continue to brush us off and refuse to assist.
Do not trust them. They will lie, mislead, and make your life miserable. Save yourself the hassle and stay far away from Abraham and this so-called "training program."

Never sign up for a membership. My account never worked. I only have time to go in the morning when there was no staff but the doors would never open because they didn't set up my account correctly. Now they want to charge my hundreds of dollars for a membership they wouldn't let me use.

Moved away to another state before I cancelled my membership and they wouldn’t cancel my membership over the phone. Put a stop payment on my card because I literally had no way to cancel and have now stacked $200 in payments that I was completely unaware about and sent it to collections. 100% shady business practice these people are going to look to take advantage of you whenever they can

horrible manager, I was new to this GYM and I got charged a $50 fine for taking someone after hours when I had asked if I could and received a confirmation that it was allowed. I was taking my niece to check out the gym since I wanted to take my whole family which it was going to be like 7 memberships. after this I told them to go to another GYM and canceled mine. Manager was rude and just wanted the $50 when I was new and received a yes from one of the employees in the front. really wanted to stay at this gym and take my whole family but not with this energy.

Yall absolutely need to re do the Dry saunas. I was the first person who ever worked out in the Murphy location when it opened. Since the very first day the sauna has been ass. All of the Club4 saunas are very disappointing. I’ve had to get a second gym membership just to get a decent sauna. Can you guys please scrap it and do it right. I know a good contractor who could do it the right way.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews, not saying I don’t believe them but I have had a different experience. I have been going to this gym for over 6 months and have experienced friendly staff and can say that there has been some slack though recently regarding cleaning. You can see thick dust around the equipment BUT I come to work out and then go home to my clean house. I sanitize the equipment before each use so I avoid any germs or sweat left behind by other individuals. I do notice a ton of teens sitting on their phones taking up the equipment. Maybe signage would be nice? All around I have enjoyed this gym and the staff.

I had a terrible experience at Club 4 Fitness in Murphy, and I feel compelled to warn others. From the moment I walked in, I was met with rude and dismissive staff who clearly have no interest in providing decent customer service. The manager is shockingly unprofessional, lacking basic courtesy and any semblance of management skills. Instead of addressing concerns, they seemed annoyed that I even brought them up.
On top of that, the gym itself is filthy. The equipment is poorly maintained, and cleanliness is clearly not a priority here. Machines are sticky, the floors are grimy, and I saw dust piling up in the corners – it was clear they don’t clean regularly. The locker rooms and bathrooms were downright disgusting, with a foul smell and overflowing trash bins. It was uncomfortable and unhygienic, to say the least.
**Your response further shows the unprofessionalism at Club 4 Fitness. As a manager, your poor grammar and lack of communication skills are unacceptable. My brother harassed in your gym, but you refused to show me the video footage. This only confirms that this place is not safe or welcoming for members.

I’ve been critical of this gym but when props are due props are given. Shout out to the Asian American lady who works the 5 AM shift. She always smiles and says Good Morning in a cheerful voice when you come in and have a nice day when you leave. Being there that early sucks I’m sure but you would never know it from her attitude. Much appreciated!

It's hard enough to show up at the gym at 5:05 AM but what makes it worse is when the lady who was working on 5/15 hadn't unlocked the door yet and when I kept knocking on the door all she did was ignore me even though she was right there at the desk. Someone who was working out in the gym had to come to the door and let me in. Do better Club4Fitness
