I've been going to this gym for a little while now, three times a week. I really like it because the management is great, real friendly and helpful. Plus they have some nice equipment that the one by my house I also use doesn't, which affords me the opportunity to work muscle groups one way at the home gym and differently here. (I live and work on opposite ends of town so one for my days off close to home and this one when working.) These guys are great, and plus I like that it's more of a lifters gym. I mean they have the equipment for however you want to work out, but I've noticed most who go there tend to be serious and into body building. It's a great place to get a great workout, and the staff, and usually the clientele too are also friendly and knowledgeable. If I lived on that side of town instead of just working there I would probably be in this gym every day. 100% recommend.

This gym is absolutely not worth the $60 they charge. There’s no sauna, no steam room, no bathroom, no lockers — nothing that justifies the price. On top of that, the rules make zero sense. If you’re using two sets of dumbbells with different weights, they’ll interrupt your workout and tell you to rack one because “that’s the owner’s rule.” It feels less like a gym and more like a mini cult run by a 22-year-old owner enforcing arbitrary restrictions.

You can’t actually enjoy your workout unless you follow their strict, unnecessary guidelines. Most of the people there look untrained, and the whole place feels like it’s designed for people who want to stay unseen rather than actually improve. They only have one set of 20s and one set of 25s, so good luck trying to move efficiently or pair your exercises properly.

Save your time and money — this gym is not it.

I tried to cancel my membership at the beginning of the month and was told I’m locked in for two more months, even though the website clearly says memberships are “month-to-month and can be canceled anytime.” That feels misleading.

On top of that, the gym itself is often hot and stuffy with very little airflow — I’ve noticed mosquitos inside at times, and the music is uncomfortably loud to the point where it’s hard to focus. Disappointing experience overall, especially given the lack of transparency about cancellations.

I run a manufacturing operation across the highway that we opened in March ‘25. Have been out of the gym for 2 years but decided to get back in the game. Googled gyms nearby to hit during work hours and saw Compound. Popped in for a tour and Dominique ushered me around with grace and knowledge. She walked me through pricing as well. Realized this was a real lifters gym which im in favor of as I previously lifted for numbers. I left to pick up water and came back and Angel ended up helping me get signed up completely. They both helped immensely. Equipment was top tier, were talking Arsenal and Rogue etc. Highly recommend if you take lifting seriously.

Dominique is truly the best gym attendant I’ve ever laid my eyes on. That is only the beginning of my positive experience with Compound Gym. Equipment at this gym is great and mostly all new! I’ve had great experiences so far with the staff and other members. Gym can get busy during peak hours, but the members are friendly and will share combo racks if needed. I highly recommend checking this powerlifting gym out. The machines are all pretty new and they have a good variety to hit your different muscles! The other members all wipe their machines and benches as well as re-rack their weights. Angel signed me and my boyfriend up, he was really nice and offered to give us a tour of the facility. Super personable! Super serious gym. Tons of powerlifting equipment and enormous men walking around. There’s a posing room for aesthetic/progress pics. The bathrooms-WHEW- they are CLEAN honey don’t worry about having a coffee before you get here. One of the toilets is even so low you can hit a deep squat. No kinked colons here. The women’s room has accommodations and sanitary products which is always such a huge plus. I had a complete tour by Dominique, one of the staff, who was super funny and nice (and beautiful??). I can also tell that she works out so she was able to answer my questions about equipment. Theres a seating area with a fridge and spots to eat pre or post workout. All around great place and such a hidden gem. Angel was also excellent :)
