Joel is awesome! He provides a personalized training routine. He keeps workouts interesting, varied and complex. I work with a chiropractor (Momentum) and he is able to complement my treatment with specific movements. He is friendly and encouraging- the kinda guy you wanna get tacos and a beer with after your workout. I've worked with other trainers and no one has compared to Joel. Highly recommended. Joel is a great trainer! He has so many exceptional qualities that there's no way I can list them all. He is patient, supportive, encouraging and makes you want to do your best. He had the tools and skill to address my tight back muscles which allowed me to perform the exercises without pain! So many people want and expect you to push through the pain but he did the opposite. I like feeling like I'm growing stronger and getting better. I feel energized and powerful after my sessions rather than wondering how much pain I'm going to be in later. Joel welcomed my teenage son to train with me and worked so well with him that my son looked forward to training. Unfortunately, we have moved and the one thing my son is upset about is not being able to train with Joel. He is the best and I will always recommend him to anyone and everyone!!

I have trained with Concepcion Fitness as a high level athlete, throughout pregnancy, and as a busy mom! No matter what stage of my fitness journey I am in, he has always tailored my workouts to my fitness goals. He is friendly and motivating and very professional. If I could give 10 stars I would! Joel is professional, knowledgeable in his craft, and very friendly. He’s taken my workouts to a whole new level & has really helped me fast track my goals. If you’re looking for a trainer then please look no further. He makes every session fun, while making sure the safety of your body and form is taken into account. Joel has been my trainer for more than a year, and has trained my brothers for even longer. Not only is he a fantastic person who makes easy conversation, but he also has pushed me to a level of fitness and strength that I would not have believed in a year ago. Throughout this time, Joel has consistently changed workout routines while expertly explaining the targeted muscles in each individual workout, so that I have never been bored or restrained by monotony in my exercise. Throughout this time, however, when I have been injured from other physical activities, Joel has been completely understanding, helping me rehab from numerous ankle, back, and hip problems. So far in my fitness journey with him, I have lost over 25 pounds and consistently improved my max in different exercises, changed my diet to incorporate more protein to his advice, and gained a tangible excitement and desire to go to the gym.
