Conquer Fitness helps men and women over 40 lose weight, get stronger, have more energy, and get out of pain! We are a personal training studio that specializes in semi-private training (small groups of 2-6 people). This allows us to provide individual attention and coaching similar to 1-on-1 training at a fraction of the price.

Fairly new to Conquer Fitness and I absolutely love it! Always a challenging workout and the trainers are very knowledgeable and attentive. The semi private training allows the trainers to be watching and instructing…tailoring to your individual skill level and making sure you keep in proper form.

20 year Retired Army Vet. Tried all kinds of gyms, however this gym is closest to group PT sessions one would be used to from time in the Military. Great trainers that push you, but keep you from hurting yourself. Social, but mission focused workouts. This gym is for any level, from never having stepped foot into a gym, to very experienced gym goer. Highly recommend.

I can’t be grateful enough to CF, I started 3 months ago with a frozen shoulder, unable to raise my arm more than 20 degrees, now I have almost full range of motion, the best part is I’m getting fit in the process! The program is holistic, the trainers, especially Lane, are knowledgeable, empathetic and caring. My energy level and stamina are up! I plan to continue indefinitely! Thank you CF!!

I’ve been going for just over a month now and can already see a huge difference. Not only in my strength and stamina, but in how much I actually enjoy working out now that I’m doing it right. I haven’t worked out in over a decade so I was rusty and they have been working with me step by step to become more proficient in the gym. I’ve tried it all: generic gym classes, CrossFit, OrangeTheory, and plenty of other big-name programs, but nothing ever really stuck. When started the small group personal training here, it made everything a lot easier because it was tailored to me where I was at. For the first time, I feel truly seen, heard, and supported in my workouts. The trainers are incredible, encouraging, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your progress. And the people I work out with make every session something I look forward to.

It’s personalized, motivating, and effective. I can see real progress each time I go, and that’s something I never found anywhere else. If you’re looking for a place that actually helps you conquer (pun intended) your goals, I highly recommend Conquer Fitness!

Just completed my first 2 workouts here, and LOVING it so far! The trainers are great, and love the small group approach. I like how they have each exercise setup with easy, medium, and harder variations so you can quickly get a sense of which level you want to do, or even pivot between levels as you get tired, or want to push yourself harder vs a previous set.

I have been going to Conquer for a month now. I go three times a week and I love it. Living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), my abilities from day to day vary greatly. Both Lane and Alex are great with showing me modifications or just completely alternative exercises to do at any given time so I can still get a full workout in around how I am feeling that day. Before I started, I hadn’t worked out in years (other than some physical therapy from time to time). I was not able to step up/down from curbs unassisted and felt unbalanced much of the time. One month in, I am freely stepping up and down from curbs unassisted (even on a so-called bad day). I feel steady. My body is getting stronger. I love that they meet each person where they are. Each session. Dr. John Dougherty has created something great with the concept of Conquer Fitness.

I don’t have anything to compare this place to, as I’ve never been part of a gym or participated in a formal workout routine - that said, I think that Conquer has been the best possible place to start as a novice. It’s challenging, but Alex and Lane are excellent instructors and motivators. I normally skip ads but their ad on Facebook caught my attention. It mentioned things I’m struggling with and how it’s a program for 40+… I went ahead and signed up and have been going 3 times a week for the past month.

The hardest struggle with working out on my own has been injury and not being able to continue. Lane has been amazing at making sure form is good and adjusting exercises if things seem off.

I’m sore, I sometimes feel like I’m dying but I’ve avoided injury so I can keep coming back. Week 5 starts Monday!
