Great class led by Juthathip

Wow. This was a horrible morning. I’m a new mom. Our nanny cancelled on us as I’m leaving the house and I was 2 min late to this class (I’m new to this studio).

The teacher named Caitlin M was so angry at my entry and so rude to me when I entered the class. Stopping the class to demand what I was doing.

I respect that they have a late entry rule. I was not informed about its rigidity as the lady at the front let me in the studio and pointed me to the classroom, in no way letting me know I need a yoga mat from the front of the office (in my other studio they are in the classroom) or that I shouldn’t go in the class.

At the end of the day I expect more professionalism/ compassion/ capacity for navigating your emotions from a freaking yoga teacher.

I don’t get to leave the house with a new baby, my being 2 minutes late was not a personal attack on this woman.

If I’d been told at the front I couldn’t go in I would have happily respected that, instead of being publicly humiliated in front of strangers and the people I was meeting in the class. I will not be returning here.

I’m very disappointed with how long this studio has been closed, especially given the lack of communication regarding its reopening.

Love the variety of classes! But few downsides.
1. Parking is horrible
2. Studio is very dirty. I came 3 days in a row & noticed the same mirror was completely dirty, worse each day.
3. They don’t really wipe down the floors a lot. I’ve watched them & its kind of a run down with a mop that just spreads current sweat everywhere.

The class was great and the instructor was great also.

However there is a major mold problem at this location. The entire building smells like mold when you walk in. Especially given that this is a yoga studio where people are working out and taking deep breaths this is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS for anyone’s health that is attending these classes. I’m concerned to continue going to this location. Additionally the bathrooms have scum and mold all over the linings and the smell is the worst in the bathrooms.

I saw others leave a similar review and the only response is to email customer service.

I got sick multiple times going to this studio. The space is so crowded and the ventilation is bad.

It's also very difficult to cancel the membership here. I was charged extra $200.

I would not recommend signing up.

Hands down the best yoga studio in the world. My wife and I love these classes, especially the 45 min yoga sculpt class.

I find these classes to be a great workout for my body and mind. The thoughtful mindfulness that each of the very talented instructors inject into each class is really beautiful.

This location has amble street parking and if all else fails, there’s a free garage close by to consider.

I love their classes, but the standout thing is the instructors at this studio. They are all so nice and welcoming and genuine. I always feel free to modify without judgement. They don’t pressure you to do poses a certain way or make you feel like you’re not doing enough. It feels like friends guiding me through a practice (not a judgemental teacher) which is exactly what I wanted!!! Also very clean and I love that they have large towels!

Second time at corepower yoga, and this second time was really nice.
Karen I think was the teacher, and the sequence was wonderful. She made you feel welcome when you walked through the door as well.

Not enough locker space and the studio smells like sweet treats from the venue that is right next door. Really hard to focus and enjoy a class with that weird overpowering smell. Not sure if I’ll be coming back.

Amazing place to visit and get a great workout. Joel is a strong sculpt instructor who will definitely make you sweat. Facilities are great and parking is fairly abundant around the surrounding area.

The teachers were all very nice but the studio was pretty gross. My first day there I noticed some bugs on the studio floor and then a few days later a giant cockroach was walking around the studio floor. Nothing can ruin the mood more than laying on your yoga mat trying to relax and a cockroach walking right by your body. Gross! I will not be going back.

Front desk makes you feel uncomfortable when one steps out during a heated class.
Quite ridiculous if you ask me. Health comes first.
My suggestion is to hire legitimate health fitness coach and not young frat girls.

They treat my mother like she were a thief even though it’s their first time meeting my mother. I scheduled a yoga sculpt class tonight at 7:30 pm and I brought my mom to the studio because I don't want to leave her home alone. I told the teacher to have her wait in the lobby and my mom will sit on the sofa and wait for me. The teacher asked my mom to either wait outside or take a class in studio. My mother is not interested in Yoga. The class is one hour and it is chill outside and we just had dinner it doesn't make sense to send her to a restaurant. I ended up quit the class and drive my mother home. My main complaint is to find out why my mother can't sit on the sofa and wait an hour while I am taking the class. My white husband used to sit there and wait for me and everything was fine. Is there anything they particularly not like about my Asian mother. If you are not allowing people sitting on the sofa, what’s the point of having a sofa in the studio? If you are so worried about people stealing stuff from the front desk, why don’t you assign someone at front desk or simply install a camera? I am very disappointment!

They need to clearly indicate when a course is heated. People have health conditions and it's dangerous. And if someone needs to leave because the heat is too much for their health condition, the front desk person should be compassionate and not make one feel embarrassed for stepping out.

Friendly staff and many classes per day. I started in 2019 and go regularly to this location. User-friendly app for the most part to check schedule and reserve classes but the activity tracker petered out. These are heated classes, especially C2. Sculpt is my favorite and it’s a bruiser, don’t go if dehydrated and if haven’t yet done some C1/2’s

This studio has horrible customer service and poor communication. If you try to schedule a class through their website, it doesn’t work. If you call the studio, you get routed to the Denver central office voicemail and then your call is cut off.
Please….how are people supposed to get information if both the website and phone service do not work???

My wife and I have been going to CorePower for many years in the different places we have lived and we really enjoy the consistency among studios. We always have an idea of the type of workout or practice we will get in during a CPY class.

My wife, Paige, actually taught Sculpt and C2 classes at this studio. If you don't have a membership and just looking for a yoga studio, give them a try! They offer a free week for your first time. Now you really have no excuses... :)

Great practice. Great people! I'm new to Yoga, but have learned more than I thought I would in such a short period of time. And the reason is because of the teachers Core Power Yoga uses. They are thoughtful, knowledgeable, and patient (which I need). I would recommend them to anyone who has a genuine desire to practice Yoga.

I find that the price is pretty high, I would not buy the pass for myself but I was give a package of 20 and have really enjoyed practicing at CPY.
The instructors are helpful, give plenty of hands on assists, don't talk to much but give adequate instruction and prompting.
They offer a variety of class times so if I want to go to a class, I can usually find one that fits my schedule.
The heat and humidity are set high to make the classes a clarifying experience, but not so hot that you feel like you're going to pass out. And the instructors ask about if everyone is comfortable.
I would highly recommend doing their "free first week" and seeing if the studio is the right fit for you.

Extremely annoyed with management and the opening of their new place at the Domain. It's already about a month and a half past their "opening date". I canceled my membership at my old yoga studio in November because this one was supposed to open then and I've been regretting it ever since. Going to start looking for other options.

So annoyed right now. I went to yoga with my friend. I forgot my yoga mat so I ran back to my apartment to go get it. I came back and the door was locked. My friend did yoga without me and I got locked out.... Pissed me off. Also when I tried to call them it directed me to their corporate office and I couldn't even call this location directly. Very dumb!!

If you are going to have a terrible parking situation then don't lock your door for your classes.

β˜… 3

The heat setting and classes are very good. However, I am annoyed that they charge members $1 a towel and $2 for a rental, that's $5 if you have two towels on your mat to avoid slipping and a towel to wipe the sweat off, so if you go 3x a week, it ends up being an extra $60 in fees on top of the $160 monthly membership, at a whopping total of $220 a month, at equinox NYC its free unlimited everything, and I have access to all 28 gyms in the city for this type of money, you think you could extend a little convenience and not charge members these prices, or at least be able to hold the mat and wash my towels for me.... I walk back and forth, don't have a car (don't want one), and regularly go somewhere other than home right after class.... the last thing I want is to lug around sweaty stuff,,, this is too much money when $220 gets me so much more (spin, yoga, etc in 28 different gyms) in a more expensive place, everything is supposed to be less expensive here.

Andrea Mitra

β˜… 5

Love this place! They have so many classes so that you can never use your schedule as an excuse! They have a great locker room area so you can go right before work and then head out from there. I absolutely loved it here! It was a bit expensive so I can't continue to go as often as I would like, but it was still so amazing. My favorite class was the Hot Power Yoga with weights. I do this class with out the weights and it is just as good of a work out. Francesca's classes are always so challenging, I love it! All of the instructors are fantastic, but it is all about what you are looking for.
