Honestly the space is super tight and cramped, there’s unfortunately not enough room for the amount of people in these classes. I prefer other studios in Dallas compared to the West Village location. The instructors I’ve taken aren’t the friendliest of the other studios around town. I think if you want people to come back you should try being a little kinder!

I’ve really enjoyed taking classes at CorePower Yoga and started my journey here back in February. The instructors are great, and the classes themselves have been a positive addition to my routine. I initially joined with the 7-day trial and signed up for a membership after that. Due to travel in March, I paused my membership, but now that I’m back, I was excited to return.
Unfortunately, my experience with the studio manager Cynthia has been consistently negative. During a previous studio challenge while I was an active member, I felt she made it unnecessarily difficult for me to participate fully. Even when I met certain goals, I was told I didn’t qualify—something that even other staff members seemed surprised by.
Most recently, I used my sister’s email to do another 7-day trial while I got my finances in order (which I had heard casually suggested by a front desk employee in the past). When I came in, Cynthia’s attitude toward me was extremely condescending. It wasn’t just what she said—it was how she said it. Her facial expressions, tone, and overall demeanor made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
I genuinely wanted to return as a paying member, but these interactions with Cynthia have made me second-guess continuing at this location. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the studio has a lot to offer—but the manager’s behavior has repeatedly created an unwelcoming environment for me.

I’ve recently started practicing at CorePower and love the hot yoga sculpt classes overall, but working out here has been consistently frustrating. Instructors don’t enforce mat placement using the floor markings, which makes it difficult, and honestly unsafe, to see yourself in the mirror and maintain proper form.
In Kiana’s class today, someone set up directly in front of me, ignoring the guides. I asked the instructor for help - she said she would but never did. After waiting a bit, I politely asked the person myself, which finally prompted the instructor to step in. The client ended up moving even further off-mark, and I had to practice off my mat just to see, which is risky in a heated, high-intensity class.
After class, I went up to the instructor to apologize if I’d caused a distraction, but instead of acknowledging the gesture, she doubled down and got noticeably defensive and snippy. I was told they “can’t make clients use the spots” and that if I want to see, I should “just get there earlier.” Not the kind of support or attitude you expect from an instructor.
This studio has potential, but the safety, structure, and overall vibe really need improvement.

First I will say the class was fantastic! Good mix from Pilates and yoga and cardio!
Secondly-for me the honesty! I lost my earring there when I toweled my face- when I came back they had it at the counter! I was thrilled-thank you thank you!!

I’ve been taking Marissa’s classes for over a year now, and I’ve never found an instructor as effective as her. She takes the time to switch up each class and always curates the best music. I genuinely look forward to her morning classes—they’re challenging but leave me energized for the entire day. I almost cancelled my CorePower membership before discovering her, and now I can’t imagine my routine without her classes!

So today would be my 6th day in a row doing sculpt. I came in today at 6:35 so I was 5 min late , when I gave my name to the girls at the front shelby looked at me and said, friend you are late your spot was given away there’s no room” I then looked at her and said I am 5 min late …… her response was you can join the 7 pm ( which is not a 45 min sculpt class) there was no apology or let’s make it work or even say sorry! The instructor wasn’t even in the class teaching yet she was still checking people in !!!! I go to yoga to be stress free and relaxed not leave upset and treated so poorly and by a MANAGER I myself am a manager and I would never speak to someone the way she did !!!!
Super disappointed

The class was an amazing combination of challenging flows, connecting breath to movement, and being present with myself and my intention. Jonathan, the instructor, was encouraging and empowering. I felt connected and motivated during every minute of class and will definitely be back for more! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I mostly attend classes at the Henderson location, but this West Village one is my 2nd choice. It's new construction and modern/clean as such. The studio and rooms are small, as is the community, but I still have enjoyed classes taken here. CPY really isn't spiritual/hippie like yoga can sometimes be portrayed - personally that's not my style so this company fits me.
